Not sure how applicable it Will be to living in a city since I don't, but we got the new Evenflo shyft intuiti and love how lightweight it is, easy to collapse, and the rotating car seat base is awesome. The wheels have suspension and I have never had an issue over any ground type- we routinely stroller baby down the gravel driveway and while it's obviously a little bouncy, the stroller handles it with grace.
r/beyondthebump • Best stroller/travel system ->I got the even flow shift intuiti travel system with the revolving car seat. Under 500 bucks. Comes with a lot of the extras like coffee cup holder and tray. It’s also very good for tall parents.
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->I have the Evenflo Shyft. The downside to it is you must be diligent about resetting. I make sure I hear both clicks and check every. single. time. It is heavy, and post partum it was hard to lift. Now, I carry a 20lb baby all day, I can throw the carseat into my high suv with ease. The upside is it is fabulous to run and errand and not have to unstrap and move a cranky 8 month old into a stroller or carry my determined escape who constantly wants down. I would purchase it again. My husband has the pippa nuna light something. I do like it alot. It is well made and very nice. If I were going to carry my infant instead of strolling in the dualride, the light weight is worth the extra $$ for sure. I also have a $90 11lb travel stroller- amazing, fits under the seat or pink tags with no worries of breaking. I also have a delta children's jogging stroller. I thought it was so ridiculous when my husband registered for it, but I love it. It is so comfortable. Baby and I walk trails, parks, gravel roads, the yard and because of the giant rubber wheels and shocks he is always comfortable and we never get stuck. I am in the process of buying the next step up in carseat, but we have a long way before needed. When we travel we a safety 1st all stages we take with us.
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->The evenflo shyft travel system !! 500$ and its great. Comes with the car seat and stroller with all the attachments. And the car seat swivels so its way easier to get baby in and out
r/BabyBumps • Overwhelmed by stroller options ->I don’t have the doona but I have the evenflo shyft. The evenflo is a bit taller, so it worked better for me and my husband. That being said, it can be very heavy. The wheels/base add a lot of extra weight and you feel it more as your baby grows. That being said, I can manage it pretty well. My daughter is 7.5 months old and weighs about 20 pounds now and I can still get the stroller in and out of the car without much difficulty. For what it is, I like the stroller. It’s been a good help for travel (I did a cross country flight with it when my daughter was 5 months old and it was great for getting her around the airport). I also like using it for quick errands and sometimes it comes in handy for situations where ramps aren’t available. These things are really pricey if you ask me though, and I can definitely see the weight as a potential problem for other users.
r/NewParents • Has anyone tried the Doona car seat/stroller? Is it really worth the hype? ->We got the Evenflo Shyft as well and love that it’s taller. And you can take the wheels off and pop the car seat into another stroller (with an adapter) if desired
r/BabyBumps • Help me understand -- Is Donna worth it? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
