"I love it because it folds very small and it goes in the upper head compartment of an airplane. ... That’s important to me because airlines will break your stroller and they are so hard to get a hold of if they do break it."
"it was perfect for Boston, air travel, and Disney."

"Really great in the airport. ... One of our flights got delayed and it was super late when we boarded and was so handy being able to wheel her the whole way to her seat and then stash it and get straight to cuddles and sleep."
"But it’s very small light and convenient for travel purposes."
"Also when not traveling it’s so small you can sometimes take it places when you might need it but might not and it’s not a massive inconvenience to have in the car or tucked away somewhere so we’ve got more use out of it than we thought."

"We have the GBpockit but I recommend for 5’7” and below. I’m 5’9” and it’s not quite comfortable for me."

Like others say Vista is too big for public transit. It's also too big for boutique aisles and small cornerstores. I love the Minu, like others are saying. It's the only stroller you need. If you really are set on a large basket, get a mid-size stroller like the Cruz and when your child is potty trained get a gb-pockit air. It weighs 10 lbs and folds smaller than the Yoyo. You can easily carry it with one hand. That makes it easy to navigate the subway with a toddler. The basket is tiny but by that time you can fit what your child needs in a totebag.
When they were younger: MaClaren Twin Triumph. Super lightweight for a double stroller. Ages 3ish- 4: we've found it more convenient to do separate strollers and hands down: gb pockit air all-terrain. It folds down teeny tiny, and while it feels a little loose, it's lasted us many trips through cobblestoned cities for over a year. Edit: apparently, there's a newer version of the MaClaren double stroller that has a different name
Hi all — heading to Japan (Tokyo → Kyoto → Osaka) with our 17-month-old and trying to figure out the best way to get around with her. Debating between: • Travel stroller (we have A GB Pockit Air currently) • Front carrier (soft baby-wearing type) • Backpack carrier (hiking-style) …or a combo of these. Main concerns: crowded trains, lots of stairs, narrow sidewalks, naps on the go, and switching between city walking and temples with uneven ground. Would love advice from anyone who’s done Japan with a toddler around this age: 1. What worked best for you — stroller, carrier, or both? 2. Any regrets leaving one behind? 3. Product recs for compact strollers, comfy carriers, or good backpack options? Thanks so much — trying to pack smart and not overdo it!
Thanks for the info! A stroller would definitely save my back a bit. I have a GB Pockit stroller which can fold up pretty small for when we need to go up stairs to a restaurant.
I had the Minu but lost it. Then I got a GB pockit all- terrain because it was cheaper than trying to replace the minu, and honestly it’s a way better travel stroller. It folds tiny and is very lightweight. We got a backpack for it off amazon and it’s super easy to carry around as a backpack. With the minu it always still felt like you were lugging a big clunky extra load. Obviously, it’s got less premium material, and not as good suspension but if your main concern is size and ease of travel, I’d go with a GB pockit hands down.
We got the GBGold All City after a fair bit of research as we wanted to take it on holiday with us a couple of years ago. It folds up super small and you can buy a backpack for it, it's so light you can carry it with one hand easy, and it fits into overhead storage bins on airplanes. Hardly takes up any room in the boot, too - unlike our previous one, which literally filled the boot. When we're out for a long walk, especially now our boy is a bit older and insists on walking/running everywhere until he crashes and wants to chill in the pram, being able to take it in the backpack and unfold it in seconds, if/when needed, is so handy.
We love our gb pockit. Folds up easily, fit in the bin, and we still use it 3 years later for zoo trips! And it magically fits in our car seat with the cover bag on, if we check the car seat.
I got the go pocket travel stroller especially for Italy. We travel there frequently and it is great on the cobblestone/ narrow streets. It's so great, we keep it in the car so we don't have to pack our big stroller. We now only use our big stroller around the burb. I would pack ONE stroller and make it a good one. Traveling with Littles means you pack a ton of stuff. Never travel with two strollers.
I’ve had a Gb Pockit stroller for 3 years and it’s the best! It feels flimsy but it holds up. We took it on a trip to Alaska and pushed over gravel paths, it totally held up. Definitely recommend!
For the subway or bus you’ll want to go smaller than the Vista, like a minu, gb pockit, yoyozen etc. even on the buses with stroller parking, the area is sometimes a bit too tight for a vista. for general sidewalk use the vista is pretty good though, can feel a bit big in crowded areas but comes in handy on uneven sidewalk.
