We bought the Graco modes pramette travel system. The car seat is good. Clicks easily into the stroller. The toddler seat has a bassinet mode you can use up to 15 lbs which was really useful in the newborn stage. I assume the Uppababy might turn a corner a little better but the Graco is good enough. My son is 10 months old now and he doesn't really want to sit in it. My husband wears the Momcozy tush seat belt thing to carry him, otherwise he will sit in the shopping cart. The stroller is good for walks but honestly, since he started daycare at 7 months we really haven't had time to use it. So it depends on your lifestyle. Also I got lucky with the cost of my travel system due to Amazon's registry completion discount, gift cards, and boxing week sale, that I only paid $23 🤣. Tip. Amazon let's you return strollers and car seats if you don't like them.

Mines walking, but we still use our stroller daily. We have a Graco Modes pramette and a Graco ready2jet. The modes one is nicer, good for long walks and park outings, etc. The ready2jet is good for flying (it fits in Delta and American airlines overhead bins!) and just quick errands, cause it fits in the car better. If you have a big car, then a double would probably be a good idea, but if space in a limited commodity in your car, I'd hold off getting something giant until you need it. Plus strollers have a limited lifespan, I know my best friend had to replace theirs between #2 and #3, just cause the frame was giving out from the beatings #1 and #2 subjected that poor stroller to.

We had the snugride 35 and the nodes pramette stroller (just a different Graco stroller, also includes toddler seat) and loved both. We've still got the stroller and we switched to a Graco trigrow when baby was done with the infant seat

Thank you!!! I ended up getting the graco trio traveler but i was also open to safety 1st. Yeah 2k on a stroller he can’t even use for a year and im not planning to have more kids for another 3/4 years didn’t feel like the best investment 😭

Yes! I got the trio and i love it so far! Baby is getting a bit bigger and by the time summer comes we will be able to use the stroller with the other attachment only. I saw and felt how the doonas were and they felt some cheap / plasticky. Can’t ever go wrong with what you know!

https://a.co/d/bPauLp4 I got this one and I’m satisfied with it so far! It’s not too bulky or heavy and now that the baby is almost 2 months old i feel like i can still take him in and out from the car easily. I like the storage it’s spacious, and the fact that the stroller will grow with him, it’s also super easy to put away since I’m a sahm I’m usually alone running errands with him. The price is also really nice, i didnt feel like spending $500 on a doona that he would grow out of and i wasn’t planning on having another baby anytime soon, so far so good!

We have been happy with the Graco modes system. We used the bassinett and it was definitely convient during the newborn stage. We have also flown with the system three times and it was pretty easy to navigate around airports and gate check, even though it is kinda bulky. The bassinett is a seperate purchase, we asked for it as a gift.

I've been using a "bulky" stroller (Graco Modes Pramette travel system) since my 18 month old was born. We even brought him home from the hospital in it. If you love your current stroller and you're able to bring it, I recommend doing so! After you get here and baby is a little older, you can look into getting a smaller more portable stroller for certain types of trips out of the house. Our big stroller has been fantastic for long, daily, leisure walks around our home and for shopping trips. The biggest problem you'll encounter is trying to use the elevators since many of the old people will aggressively rush in front of you or just outright cut you in line, but having to wait for the second or third elevator isn't the end of the world, just an inconvenience. Many store or restaurant interiors are also quite narrow and will not fit a stroller, but you'll get a good feel for the places you can comfortably use your stroller or not around your home.

I have the Graco modes and kind of hate it. The bassinet was just okay, it never seemed to lay fully flat, but I hate it as a toddler seat. No matter how much I adjust it my baby is always at a weird angle and slides down. The brakes also started to get stuck around 10 months.

I hear ya! I have the Greco Modes Pramette with the car seat and it took up our entire trunk space. We also travelled with it once and never again! Haha I like that this folds and fits nicely behind the passenger seat, leaving a lot of space in the trunk and back seats for shopping. I bought the foot muff for it cause winters were like -30C and I couldn’t put much on her in the car seat, so the foot muff was nice to have for those transitions between car and store and it folded with it attached too.

I’m so late to this post, but I have the Graco Modes Pramette Travel System, and it’s been amazing! Super versatile with the reversible seat and SnugRide 35 car seat. I love that it transitions so easily from infant to toddler. Highly recommend grabbing it during these Black Friday deals—it’s such a steal! So this is a bit pricey... however I found one that was open box returned. [Graco Snugride](https://www.target.com/p/graco-modes-pramette-travel-system-with-snugride-lx-black/-/A-92644417) What i love: lightweight. I can use one hand to open and close it. I literally store it sideways in my trunk by using a bungee cord around a head rest and the wheels. I use the pram walking in my neighborhood almost daily. When he is able to hold his head up, it will transition into a seat! It can be used parent or world facing. What i dislike: the flimsy cup and phone holders. They sway instead of lock in place so my dogs leash is knocking stuff over. But I did buy a stroller caddy and that solved the problem easily. I also have a jogging stroller but I literally only use that when I hit the trails with my LO, which isn't often.

I think I have the 3rd one? The stroller I have is the one that comes with the bassinet attachment which eventually turns into what I call “toddler mode”. I don’t know the model names, I just know it’s a graco. You can also just click the car seat into it but I only did that once. I’m pregnant with my second and I’m considering getting the graco stroller that is a double…once again, don’t know the name…not the duoglide but the other one that has 2 spots and the top one you can either use the seat attachment or you can click your car seat into it.

My diaper bag came from Amazon. Some non-brand. I’ve seen it on just about every mom at the zoo, so it’s quite popular. I think it was ~$25. My bucket car seat is the Graco snugride snug fit 35 dlx. Using it on my second kid now with no complaints. It will also fit into the attachment on Graco strollers. I think it was around $130. My convertible car seat that they switch into when I get tired of carrying them in the bucket seat is the Graco slim fit 3in1. It was just under $200. My stroller for my first baby was the Graco modes pramette stroller. I think it was around $200 but it was a gift so not sure. Now that we have our second baby we have a Graco ready2grow Lx 2.0. It was on clearance for $170. Bucket car seat will also fit into it like the single stroller. As you can tell, we are loyal to Graco baby stuff.

We just got the Graco one from Costco. $130, seems solid. Also works with the Graco infant car seats. Overhead bin fits too tho you'll need to pull the bumper bar and tuck it in. Both the 15mo and the 2.5yo enjoyed riding in it during our test outing to the museum. 4 wheel suspension even.

We have the Graco Modes pramette stroller and it’s served us well. The base also fit her infant car seat and we used that combo quite often while running errands when she still fit in it. Now that she’s bigger and sizes up to a bigger car seat, I also have a Kolcraft Cloud Sport stroller to keep in the trunk because it’s easier to open quickly and takes up less space.

So part of the problem is wanting a stroller that can add an extra seat AND is lightweight. Unfortunately, strollers that “grow” with the family are bigger and bulkier bc they eventually need to be able to sustain two kids. For me, we decided that lightweight and small was more of a priority. We cant guarantee that we’ll have another kid within the next couple years (you never know!), we might not be stroller people, the kids might not like riding in a stroller, who knows. Otherwise we had the same wish list as you. We went with the Graco pramette - cost us only $250 and has all the basics we needed (bassinet, car seat, toddler seat). If I eventually feel like I need to change to a different stroller, I’m not going to be mad at myself bc we only spent $250 on this first one. Much better than sinking $1k+ into a stroller! A rotating car seat is nice but they are not always compatible with travel systems. Our kid’s next car seat will be rotating, but this infant one is not.

I have the Graco Modes pramette. I think it's a little less than $200. Good on grass, dirt, gravel, etc. I can lift it with one hand, it's pretty lightweight. I can also steer with one hand. It can be used as a bassinet, or toddler seat facing to the rear or forwards. You can also attach an infant car seat if you have one.

I have the Graco 3-in-1 pramette stroller. It's not heavy. Not sure how much it weighs but I cna easily lift it (I'm 4'11" for reference). It works well on dirt/grass and pavement. Bonus is that I can lay my infant in it, and when she grows, I can turn the bassient into a seat (either forward or rear facing). I like it.

I went with the Graco 3 in 1 travel system with the SnugRide LX/DLX car seats. It was the highest rated on targets website. Most of the car seats that Graco makes are compatible with the travel system. And it has the pramette mode on the stroller which is something I was looking for. The travel system itself with the car seat was $300.

I have a graco 3-1 that the infant seat clicks into. It’s a super light jogging stroller than you can open, close, and handle with one hand. I’ve had to push it through gravel and have had 0 issues. My SIL has a baby 2 months older than mine and she has a nuna system and she preferred mine. She hates having to basically take it apart to put it in the car and it takes up more room. It’s also harder to handle according to her.

We went with Graco, we got the infant bucket seat (this may not be important to you but it was for us, if it’s not something you want, you can do a convertible car seat right away!) and then got the Graco 3-1 modes stroller. It fits any Graco car seat, it lays down to a bassinet and then works for a toddler too. It was the most reasonably priced so that’s what we went with! It’s all pretty lightweight.

We have a Graco that came with a bassinet that converts into a toddler seat and also could accept the bucket car seat. “Baby” is 13 months old now, the stroller has over 500 miles on it, and we still absolutely love it. My only serious complaint is that it takes up almost all of the trunk space in my subcompact car. We got one of the Momcozy drink holders to attach to it. The cup holder it comes with is terrible.

I have a graco modes and I love it. It has the car seat that snaps in which can be swapped out for a bassinet or a toddler seat. Mine can accommodate 2 kids (not 2 car seats but a toddler seat and the either another toddler seat or the car seat or bassinet). It’s easy to manuver (although a bit long and takes some getting used to) and not horrendously expensive. I haven’t been on a trail with it but it does great in the neighborhood.

Ive had two kids, very different systems in place. Cost was my biggest concern basically. Baby 1 Bed: uppa bassinet + jolly jumper rocker stand. Stand was $10 used. Bassinet came with the stroller Stroller: used uppa baby from fb marketplace. Paid $100 for the stroller, seat and bassinet. Came with a snack tray. It was around 8 years old and an outdated model Car seat: safety first seat that stayed in the car (not a system), but that adjusted from infant to 50 lbs. Cost about $300 Once baby could sit up, I ditched the uppa baby because it was too big. Opted for a Summer 3D stroller that was super portable. That cost about $80 Baby 2 Bed: ingenuity bassinet (not relevant, but showing that we didn’t have a bassinet attachment). Bought used for $30 Stroller: graco modes that we got from a friend. They gave us the whole system with the car seat. Free, but valued at $450+ brand new, and worth mentioning that this is difficult as used car seats should only from a trustworthy source. Also still had the summer 3D mentioned above, and that was compatible with the Graco snugride Car seat: graco snug ride mentioned with stroller. Free from a one-and-done friend. This baby will need a new car seat when we grow out of the bucket. She will use that summer 3D stroller exclusively when that happens as I looove how light and portable, yet sturdy, it is. Baby 2 didn’t have a bassinet stroller attachment. She is 4 months old and would be outgrowing it now. We are huge on baby wearing, so we didn’t have her in the stroller much for walks around the block. Note that dad did a lot of the bigger walks while mom was recovering. Used ergo baby carrier: $15 Sorry for the long read. All this was to say the answer doesnt need to be black and white or fit in a box

I see a lot of comments about getting the uppababy Cruz and while that one is a really popular brand, I got the *GRACO modes travel system* it comes with an infant carrier and a stroller that converts to a bassinet. It can be used with infants to toddlers for a portion of the price of the uppababy. If you’re buying everything yourself I recommend this one, one of my siblings bought the uppababy and the GRACO is essentially the same thing and runs nearly identical imo

Graco Modes travel system- we love it. We used the bassinet attachment a ton when she was first born so she could nap on walks. Now at 4 months we mostly put the car seat onto the stroller base- but we still use the bassinet attachment for day-long events (grad parties, weddings, picnics, etc.) because it makes diaper changes and naps so much easier. The bassinet also can be configured into a normal stroller seat, front or rear facing and now that she's really eager to see everything around her I think we will be making the switch here very soon! Also worth noting I drive a Toyota Camry and not only does the car seat fit well in the back- the stroller and attachments also fit easily into my trunk!

We got the Mockingbird and got the adapter for a Graco carrier seat. I love it, it allows for a second seat attachment. THAT BEING SAID… eventually I said “eff it” and got the Graco jet set light weight stroller because the normal strollers are HEAVY. I regret getting rid of my Graco Modes because it was not only cheaper, but way more light weight than the bougie brands.

We had the Graco modes one as well and liked it enough. The click and connect between car seat and stroller was great. The only real issue we had was the size of the stroller. It took up the entire tree trunk of my wifes SUV (albeit a smaller one). It took a while before we were able to find the basic frame to use that basically takes up no space in the trunk. I do suggest taking a look at the foldup dimensions of your vehicle and take a tape measure to your trunk to see how it can fit.

I have one of the graco modes travel systems. Can't remember which one exactly as I bought it 1.5 years ago. But the infant bucket seat can be attached directly onto the stroller, which is so nice if baby fell asleep in the car seat and you need the stroller. It rides really smooth. Graco also has great deals sometimes. I got the stroller, the infant bucket seat, and the car base for under 300 bucks. Im 4'9 so being super small, it was important that I could easily lift the stroller into my suv too and I'm able to with ease.

I went with the graco modes and graco snugride. They are affordable! We used the bassinet only for walks in neighborhood until recently. She’s now 5 months and not quite ready to sit up in toddler upright stroller position, but likes to ‘see’ so we are using the car seat more for stroller walks. I think the guidance for maximum time in a car seat gets a bit longer after ~3 months (shifting from 30min to 2hrs). We honestly carried the car seat into most stores because she was awake and it wasn’t that heavy- but now that she’s heavier we have started clicking it into the stroller. I actually did my first sit down in a coffee shop and enjoy an ice cream while she sleeps in the car seat-stroller (transferred and didn’t wake up) ever two weekends ago- it was bliss!!

I have two strollers. The Graco modes travel system. Which worked well because it included the infant car seat for when he was a tiny baby. The undercarriage is also huge, so I use that for shopping. It’s also very durable. It was a gift, not my choice stroller, but has worked well for our needs. I keep that one in my car. We also got the Bugaboo butterfly for travel. I love it! We just used it for our first trip and it fit well in the overhead compartment of the airplane. My husband keeps this one at home or in his car. He works from home so he has the baby while I’m at work. Having two strollers seems like the way to go

Ok so I’m a 3rd time mom and I am 100% buying that stroller again! It was soooo easy to use. Lightweight compact and just a breeze I love the Graco snugride line basically anything is good there. I got 2 kids uses out of both of those car seat and stroller.

r/BabyBumps • Hoping to hear some opinions on the graco snugline and its accompanying stroller base. I’m torn on which we should go with for our baby. ->

That’s what we did. Got a Greco travel system (stroller and car seat) for like $180 and that’s the one we fly with.

r/daddit • Dad's, Southwest broke my stroller. How do you fly with yours? ->
