Same here, got the Graco Verb Click for like $180 on RebelStork? It was open box but totally unused. Very happy with it.

r/MommitHelp - stroller/travel system options that grow with the baby? Do I really need an expensive one?

You don't have to go for the most high end system. I'm on my second kid and still getting a ton of use out of our Graco Verb travel system. We've put in hundreds of miles on the stroller. I waited to get a double stroller until I had my second but we barely use the second seat. My first started walking everywhere around 2 and now at 3.5 almost never wants to sit. My only regret is not getting something with Greenguard certification or whatever as we think more about what touches our kids' skin everyday. We have a forward facing Chicco carseat for our preschooler that is Greenguard. Still, we all can only do so much without going completely crazy looking at carseat chemicals and microplastics so it's a balance.

r/BabyBumpsstroller + car seat recs? esp. Nuna or Doona - FTM feeling overwhelmed
9 months ago

Everyone who I know who uses or has used the Doona has ended up hating it. Some because it’s short, even with the adjustable handle it’s not much of a difference. They couldn’t really use it past a year. They ended up having to switch over to a larger car seat and separate stroller sooner than they planned. Which was a lot extra inconvenient cost when you realize how much they paid for the Doona. Now for the Nuna I only have one friend in our friend group who has purchased it and even then She would t pay for it. Her family pitched in for it. I’m not sure what model she has but it did come with the bassinet attachment and you could put the car seat in when it. Now’s she’s using the larger child attachment so the baby can sit upright, and below is a seat where toddler sits. Recently I’ve been seeing some people have had issues with the Nuna and having issues with the company in general. I’ve had two babies and pregnant with number 3. With my first I used the brand Monbene it’s available at Walmart. It was a travel system. I liked it, I used the stroller til my son was 2.5. With my second I had the Evelflo Pivot and also really liked it. The bassinet attachment could be used and an extra toddler seat for when baby was older. You could clip in the car seat and the toddler seat. So I used that for when I needed to lug both boys around. With my third I got the Graco verb travel system. You can clip the car seat in and when baby can sit upright I’ll have a stroller. Graco is also one of the better known and highly recommended because price and they have so many options available.

Graco verb! Like $250. Comes in different colors, lightweight and easy to maneuver. Also comes with an infant car seat!

First and probably only child. I put the cheapest Graco stroller/car seat combo on my registry which was the Graco Verb click connect. The stroller is perfectly fine. Personally, I think spending a ton of money on a stroller is silly. However, I would have chosen a combo with a better car seat because this one is very basic. We were gifted a second Graco car seat which was much nicer than the Graco Verb version.

We had a graco with the “click and connect”, being able to pull the car seat out of the base with a lever and drop it in the stroller, then have it lock in was worth its weight in gold. We took it everywhere with both kids, fairs, beach, hiking trails, as well as city/shopping.

r/dadditDad's, Southwest broke my stroller. How do you fly with yours?

That’s what we did. Got a Greco travel system (stroller and car seat) for like $180 and that’s the one we fly with.
