Not sure on the strollers, but I tried out the mint this weekend and I loooove it, it’s baseless and so easy to install.

I ended up going with the Joie Mint + Hazel combo, but went back and forth between that and the Chicco Corso for so long. The Hazel stroller does have a “near flat” nest mode, and extra large canopy which I appreciate.

I have the Joie Hazel and it checks all those boxes! The bigger wheels are more friendly for all-terrain and the toddler seat will go into a nearly-lie flat mode. It also has an extra large canopy with mesh ventilation panels that I like a lot too to help protect baby from the sun

r/BabyBumpsHow did you figure out what car seat/stroller you wanted?

Our neighbor's kept raving about their Nuna, so I went and looked in person, and wasn't impressed for the price. Next, I went to Target and also didn't love anything, which is when I really got into researching. I decided I wanted a baseless car seat, which really helped narrow down our options. I liked the look of Nuna and discovered Joie is made by the same parent company, which is when I fell in love with the brand, but was reluctant to buy something I hadn't seen in person. I was luckily able to find their nutmeg stroller in target about a month later, which I liked the look/feel of, but was a little more compact than we wanted. From there, it was a decision between their hazel or ginger. We went with the hazel and mint travel system for the bigger wheels, which we thought would be better for the terrain where we walk our dog each day. I'd recommend deciding what features are most important to you and using it to narrow down your search from there. I was so overwhelmed until deciding to go with baseless.

My Joie travel system has served me well! I’m almost exclusively solo in public and the mint latch + hazel combo has been super great.

Same. Hazel can rear or front face, and Mint is baseless, which is nice.

r/BuyingforbabyBest travel-friendly strollers for infants?

I have a Joie Nutmeg and Mint Latch combo that I got from target, and I'm very happy with it! I don't believe it's overhead bin compatible though. It folds down pretty small but I don't think it's quite small enough for a carry on. Maybe if you took off the bumper bar and wheels but then that makes it multi step. Regardless of that, if you are okay with bagging it and letting it get gate checked, it's a fairly affordable serviceable option. It's infant friendly with it's near flat recline although it doesn't parent face. I am personally interested in the Inglesina Quid 3 and if I had a compatible car seat I probably would have gone with it based on videos and reviews. I believe it IS overhead bin compatible. They make adapters for Nuna, Maxi Cosi, Cybex, and Clek. I don't have experience with it, this is all based on reviews! I've been seeing that the Nuna Trvl and it's baseless car seat are really superb for air travel, but again, don't have experience with it directly. I love The Stroller Mom on YouTube for stroller reviews, which is how I ended up with my Joie combo. She has tons of thorough reviews of travel strollers if you are interested in that!
