I also have the Joolz Aer Plus and just tried out the minu v3. I had a hard time opening the minu V3. It is definitely not as smooth as the joolz. I don’t know if I got a defective one or if that’s the way it is on all. Is anyone having trouble with squeeza and fold/ unfold on minu v3? I absolutely love the one-handed fold, and the light weight of the Joolz. I hate the useless recline and the tiny under basket. The minu has a huge and capable basket and a great recline. It’s a tough choice, but it is 3 pounds heavier also
r/Buyingforbaby • Our Minu V3 review vs Aer + ->We are in the same situation as you, city living, no car, no option to store the stroller at the ground level of our walk up. We bought a Joolz Aer + with a bassinet attachment- baby’s not quite here yet so I don’t have a full review. But I am happy to say it feels really solid and not like just a travel stroller, especially with the bassinet attachment. It’s a lot smaller than my friends bugaboo (because of course it is) so I dont know if we will use the bassinet attachment for as long. But it folds great, with or without the bassinet, and the bassinet is easy to take on and off, which is what we wanted for our 2nd floor walk up (3rd floor european) apartment. And I cannot imagine buying a heavier stroller than this - it’s supposed to be one of the lightest but still damn! 2 things I might see as negatives with use- 1. The suspension isn’t as good as a full size of course. I am hoping it is good enough, but we live in a town with a fair amount of cobblestones and even some “stroller approved hikes” so I will definitely be putting it to the test! 2. I wish an engineer would make magic and find a way to make a lightweight travel stroller with the storage capacity of a full size- since we also don’t have a car I know I will be filling the storage underneath to absolute max capacity and I wish it was bigger, but I know it’s not possible and actually the Joolz aer has been praised for having more room than other compacts. The way I reassured myself to pull the trigger on this one was to start with the smallest stroller that could work and get it on sale/ used. That way, if it didn’t work out as an every day stroller, we had a good stroller for flights (all family lives abroad) and we could feel better about keeping this one for travel, store it away (like I said, it folds great) and then invest in something more robust for every day if we really needed it. Good luck with your search!
r/BabyBumps • Lightweight strollers useable from birth without a car seat? ->Hi there. If you are worried about travel and wanting your stroller to fit in the overhead on the plane, then do NOT get the Butterfly. It is slightly too big to fit. I cannot speak for the Redsbaby Skip as I have not used it. I have the Redsbaby Jive though and I am 100% happy with the quality. For travelling we were gifted the Joolz Aer+ by my inlaws. I absolutely love it. It is light and practical and very easy to carry around. Also fits comfortably in the overhead compartment.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Help - Bugaboo Butterfly, Joolz Aer+ or Redsbaby Skip 3? ->Can you bring your current stroller and just gate check it? I bought a joolz aer plus with bassinet which does collapse down but I never brought it with me on the plane. I flew with my daughter twice at 1-2 months old and both times I used a car seat attachment and put the bassinet part in through hold as I purchased a seat for the car seat as she was so little. For day to day ended up putting my daughter in the upright seat before 5 months as she was physically ready and she also just hated the bassinet. The joolz one is quite small tbh.
r/NewParents • Travel stroller for 0-6 months: best solution? ->I would’ve bought Joolz for a newborn since it has a newborn bassinet attachment which the Butterfly lacks, but for a toddler - team Butterfly all the way!
r/Buyingforbaby • Joolz aer+ vs bugaboo butterfly ->i have the joolz aer+. bought it for a holiday abroad and ended up selling my other prams (nuna mixx and cosatto giggle) and keeping the aer+ for my daily. i bought it when my baby was just turned 1, she's 3 next month and it's still in like-new condition. it's so sturdy and good quality, you can tell it's well made. i cant recommend it enough. the accessories are fab, it's lightweight and compact, easy to fold, easy to push, the extendable hood is a good size. absolutely 0 complaints from me! my friend has the bugaboo butterfly and the leather is scuffed from her walking through doorframes etc and the seat fabric has worn away - she's only had hers a year and has spoken with bugaboo who essentially said it's normal / common so i would avoid tbh
r/UKParenting • Travel Stroller - Best Options / Real World Experiences? ->joolz aer+ ticks all of your boxes (but has a completely flat recline, therefore safe for sleep) x
r/UKParenting • The goldilocks travel stroller - does it exist?? ->Another vote for Joolz Aer+! We bought it for an international trip (went in cabin overhead), but have been reaching for it over our usual big pram since we got back too. Fantastic fold, zippy and lightweight, shade canopy is about the biggest I’ve seen on compact prams, and the basket is way more functional than the yoyo without two rods running straight through the middle.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram that’s an excellent all-round everyday pram ->Joolz aer+ for its one handed fold. It doesn’t recline flat but the canopy is larger than most other travel prams. Bought new when it was discounted for less than I was seeing second hand yoyos on marketplace.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Best Travel Pram ->I'm a huge fan of our Joolz Aer + (one hand fold!) but I ended up buying new because there was hardly any secondhand stock in my area.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram recommendations? ->I had it thrown in with my first Uppababy pram - i live metro melbourne and found the wheels to always tilt to one side ie super sensitive to uneven pavement. Ended up buying joolz aer and much sturdier! Heard great things about bugaboo butterfly too if want bigger basket space
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Feedback on the Uppababy Minu V3 Travel Stroller/Pram ->Love the sturdiness of my Joolz Aer!
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram for 3 month old (overhead locker on plane) ->I have the Joolz Aer+ and it is really sturdy, good basket space, easy to fold down and quality materials. Only main difference between it and butterfly i found when researching was you just need to unzip the seat to recline it which takes a little longer than bugaboo, but it hasn’t affected usability day to day. I just liked the feel and colours of Joolz more - I purchased the Taupe
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram recommendations? ->The Joolz Aer + is amazing. Carryon sized, super lightweight, true one-handed collapse and push, very maneuverable, handles all terrain I’ve taken it on including trails with roots and cobblestones, high height and weight limit, flat recline (the older US version isn’t completely flat but flat enough for a comfy nap or a diaper change), very nice materials, big sun shade, big basket. It’s my only stroller now. It’s sturdier than the YoYo and feels nicer than the butterfly, it’s closest competitors, and it’s one-handed close/open/push is better than both.
r/TravelHacks • Strollers while travelling ->We got the skip 3 recently and am loving it so far. Had the yoyo 2 previously that I got second hand off fb marketplace and so many little things annoyed me so I wanted to replace it. Also liked the Joolz aer bt the price was a bit steep and skip was just a bit cheaper. Bugaboo looks good too (sister has it) but it didn’t have a bassinet option that I wanted in case for bubs coming in November.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Best Travel Pram ->We got a single to double (Cybex gazelle) and like it as a single. Our second is due in November so yet to know what it’s like as a double. But honestly if I was to do it all over again, I would get a travel pram that comes with a bassinet option (Redsbaby Skip 3, Yoyo or Joolz Aer+) and then use that as the primary pram. It’s small compact, you won’t need to buy another thing if you travel and it’s so easy to put in and out of car etc. If you then become pregnant with a second and realise you’ll benefit from a double pram- then get the big double pram. The reality is you never know when you might fall pregnant with a second. And so you don’t know what the age gap might be. You might even be able to just use a single pram + toddler board if it’s a large enough age gap. For reference, we got the skip 3 and it’s great. We had the yoyo - don’t love it. The Joolz aer looks really good and I sort of wish I got that when i was picking between Joolz and yoyo. But skip 3 is new and more reasonable price than Joolz.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Prams - did you regret getting a larger, heavy pram for your first baby? ->The joolz aer+ is a great pram. It has a genuine one hand, one movement fold unlike the yoyo and also has a carry strap. It comes with a travel bag. The only real downside for us is the lack of a peekaboo window. It is a bit exxy but sometimes comes down to just over $500 on Amazon or thememo. The butterfly is by all reports also a great pram but be aware it is 7.3 kg (aer+ is 6.4), so it technically exceeds the 7kg limit for carry on luggage some airlines have should they check.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram recommendations? ->As other Redditors have said - consider your use case before buying. I started with a Bugaboo Bee and sold that for a Joolz Aer+, which is way better for our needs (one hand fold, travel friendly, light). But I wouldn’t spend a lot on a fancy one off the bat; your child may not even want to sit in it. Mine didn’t until she was 3.
r/askSingapore • Parents in Singapore, where do you get your stroller and how much was it? ->I just bought the Minu v3 today!! The local baby store had literally just gotten it in. We currently have the Nuna triv and wanted a travel stroller to keep in the car. I brought my 13 mo son and tried out the bugaboo, joolz and the minu V3. The minu was the best one out of all three. Easiest to fold up, has a flap on top to be able to see down to the baby, and easiest capability to expand the seat up/down. it was super helpful testing them out right beside each other!
r/beyondthebump • Uppababy Minu v3 Travel Stroller ->My wife and I spent weeks every weekend playing with strollers. We ended up picking up the Aer+! The fold is amazing and easy. And there’s storage for daysss My second pick was Jet 5 but the storage was too small. I thought the Jet 5 was so cool too. My wife’s second pick was the Butterfly. I personally thought the fold was not as smooth as the Aer+. It’s a small detail but every detail counts IMO when there’s a screaming child in your arms as you’re navigating a grocery store lol. Though our second pick differs, I’m glad our first pick was the Aer+. Keep in mind though that the Aer+ doesn’t have a lot of rotating car seats in USA that is compatible with it. Not sure if that’s a deal breaker for you. If rotating car seats is a must have, get the Jet 5 because of its car adapters. Nuna Trvl won’t fit on airplanes btw. Need to checked in.
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel Stroller Help! ->Joolz Aer+! Whatever you do, don’t get the Uppababy Minu!
r/NewParents • What's the best stroller you've used? ->We love the Joolz Aer+ (compact enough to fit in the overhead bin, comfort for baby/toddler) and hate the Uppababy Minu V2 (have to take off wheels to fit in travel bag, doesn’t fit in overhead bin, doesn’t have one handed unfold)
r/NewParents • Is Uppababy stroller & car seat too much for airport? ->I have the Minu V2 and absolutely hate it - of all my baby related purchases, it’s my biggest regret. Similar to you, I wanted to use it as a primary stroller, but found it was annoying to fold and unfold, like it often got stuck when I tried to fold it. I went to an Uppababy tune up event, and they essentially told me it’s a travel stroller so it’s not meant to be used all the time, which is why it’s getting stuck when folding it up. As a travel stroller, it is not parent friendly. You need two hands to unfold since you need one hand to unlatch and one hand to unfold. It doesn’t fit in the overhead bin on flights. Finally, you need to remove the back wheels for it to even fit in its travel bag to gate check - it is wild that they didn’t just make the bag bigger since you’re checking it anyways. Because of all this, I have no faith I’d be able to travel own my own with baby and this stroller. I ended up getting the Joolz Aer+ which I use for travel and daily trips. I don’t know about the V3, but wouldn’t have faith in it based on my experience with the V2.
r/Buyingforbaby • Anyone considering the new uppababy minu v3 for a newborn? ->The Babyzen Yoyo seems to be the most popular and most recognised by airlines. We have a Joolz Aer+ which I bought instead the Yoyo as it has a 1 hand fold and is a bit taller, I really like it, I use it for travel and for quick trips out at home where I don’t want to get the big pram out. But every time I try to take it on a plane I’m told I need to check it, then I say “no it fits in the overhead” and then they ask “is it a Yoyo”. Initially I just said it was like a Yoyo but that was causing issues, so now I just lie say that it is because it’s easier. So if you don’t want to be questioned - a Yoyo is the most recognised and accepted for air travel.
r/Buyingforbaby • Recommendations for a stroller that's for an 8mo and fits overhead compartment on a plane? ->I hate that all of the luxury brands have some sort of compromise. I love the Joolz Aer+ but the zipper recline is so weird and it’s crazy that a flimsy footrest is an add-on. The Yoyo fold is just ridiculous, I’m sure you get used to it but every time I’ve looked at it in store, the salesperson struggled with it. People love the Butterfly but it feels big and heavy to me for a stroller that also feels tippy (and it’s just a pet peeve of mine when there is no seat back pocket lol). The Minu V3 looks really promising but not sure when it will come out next year. I’d take a look at the Zoe Traveler and the Bombi Bebee v2. I’m leaning towards the Zoe because it’s smaller and lighter, but it looks like the basket isn’t as accessible. Also consider the mountain buggy nano urban.
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel Stroller for 18 Month Old ->Oh my gosh, I can’t imagine carrying the e-gazelle up and down stairs. It’s already a heavy stroller and then the battery adds more weight. If you’re going on the train and/or up and down stairs, I’d strongly recommend a travel-sized stroller like a Yoyo, Aer+, or Minu V3. Or just baby-wearing. The Vista is also awkward to carry, doesn’t have a good handle for it. For the hills I can appreciate the benefit of the battery… but I’d say a lighter stroller or baby-wearing is still the way to go. Or maybe consider a 3-wheel jogger type stroller since many have a really nice push (most are heavy though). The Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 isn’t too heavy and has a really easy, quick fold. Thule Spring might be a good one to look at as well.
r/Buyingforbaby • Any cybex fans here? Stuck between cybex and uppababy ->I bought the Uppqbaby Cruz V2 and I love it but I regret it. We love it because it has big wheels and it’s nice to take on walks around our neighborhood. BUT it’s just too big, I might we weak hahah but I find it so sooo heavy to carry by myself when I’m not with my husband. I just can’t see myself traveling with it. We just bought the Joolz Aer+ and OMG I wish I had purchased this stroller from the start. Perfect for traveling and the bassinet is so perfect for the newborn stage.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller/Travel System recommendations for FTM, baby due early January [ON] ->We got the joolz aer+ stroller. It's very light weight and compact! Easy to found. We haven't traveled on the plane yet though
r/NewParents • What's the best stroller you've used? ->If you’re not using it in the airport can you look into whether you can hire one on holiday? I’ve tried lots of pushchairs and we travel a lot. We have the Doona (which a lot of people don’t like) but I LOVE it for travel because it is also a car seat (we use lots of Ubers and hire cars on holiday and business travel). It does have a weight/age limit of 2 years though. We also have the Joolz Aer+ and it’s a great compact pushchair that also has a shoulder strap to carry it when not in use. Not on your list (and not the cheapest for sure) but thought I’d share my experience! Both of these pushchairs are compact enough to bring into the cabin/put in the overhead bin. Edit: clarity
r/UKParenting • The goldilocks travel stroller - does it exist?? ->We have the aer. It fits in an overhead and is very smooth on city sidewalks and actually pretty good on cobblestone as well. The main issue is that the basket is teeny tiny but it’s a travel stroller so I don’t think that’s the biggest downside
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel Stroller Help! ->I would look for the Babyzen yoyo, Joolz Aer+ or the Bugaboo Butterfly on marketplace. You’re probably not going to get everything you’re wanting in a travel stroller, so you’ll have to compromise on something. Very few models will fit overhead on an airplane but the yo-yo and Aer+ definitely do if that’s important enough for you. Finding a big basket or a good recline will be the hardest.
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel Stroller - Analysis Paralysis ->We have the Joolz Aer and debated all the ones you were considering. It has fit in the overhead bin for us without issue. The bottom basket isn’t huge, but I think it’s better than the YoYo if I’m remembering right. We put a diaper bag down there, so it’s at least useable. I thought the upright position of the YoYo was a bit too reclined as well. Ultimately the dealbreaker was that my husband found the Joolz to be most comfortable and to use (he’s 6’4). Other things we like about the Joolz: very lightweight, one-hand fold is super easy, great warranty. When we’re home, we keep it in our trunk for quick trips out to the mall, etc. and keep our Uppababy Vista for neighborhood walks.
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel Stroller Help! ->If you do a lot of traveling, I think the Doona is worth it. I would never use it on a daily basis at home because it’s very low. But it’s very convenient for the airport and means you avoid bringing both a car seat and separate stroller. However, it is going to be a short-term investment because baby will grow out of it by a year. Then you would probably want a specific travel stroller. So you could consider a travel stroller with a lay-flat option or bassinet attachment now, you’d just also need to bring the car seat. For daily use we went with the Uppababy Vista and love it for our lifestyle. We use it primarily for walks around the neighborhood and nearby trail system, to bring to the park, etc. It is bulky and not as easy to bring in the car. Now that my son is older we actually use our travel stroller (Joolz Aer) a lot if we’re just going to the mall. For infant car seats we chose the Nuna Pipa Rx Lite and I’m so glad we went with a very lightweight option.
r/BabyBumps • Stuck between Nuna and Uppababy ->We have liked our Joolz Aer
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel Stroller for 18 Month Old ->I would get a travel stroller (we have the Joolz Aer+ and would recommend), plus the very lightweight and inexpensive Cosco car seat from Walmart.
r/Buyingforbaby • Travelling with baby overseas, stroller/car seat questions! ->I have the Aer+ and we’ve been on four international trips on different airlines and all of them have allowed it. The canopy is SO large it covers my baby where u can only see the tip of her toes. The one hand collapse and open is so impressive people have actually commented about it in public. To be fair, most strollers these days are great so it took me a long time to settle on this one but I’m glad I did.
r/Buyingforbaby • New Silver cross Jet 5 or Joolz aer+ ->Hi! I’m a mom to two kids in Singapore and my best advice is to get a second hand stroller on carousel. All of the premium brands are available with 30-40% discount and many are in like new condition. Premium strollers are generally very sturdy, easy to maneuver and have good resale value Also (personal opinion) the best stroller on the market is Julz Aer plus. Retails for about 760$ brand new or 500$ on carousel. Perfect for both travel and city life.
r/askSingapore • Parents in Singapore, where do you get your stroller and how much was it? ->I just went through alllll of this. Had the trvl for awhile but baby grew out of it within one year, it’s way too short in the head rest. After researching, went with the Joolz Aer+ and LOVE it. So beautiful, so small and light folded but functions like a full sized stroller. Bonus, it’s really pretty.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Please share any recommendations for a travel stroller ? ->Joolz Aer+ is 10/10. I spent hours researching different ones. Bugaboo was my runner up. Avoid the Nuna Trvl, I had it and returned it, it has a hole in the seat structure and a very low back, which became uncomfortable as my child got bigger. Grew out of it before even turning one.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Can anyone recommend a relatively safe/nontoxic travel stroller you like and is suitable for every day use? ->I have a Joolz Aer+ and a Bugaboo Fox 5. We are also a family that walks a lot. I love my Bugaboo, it works so well. It’s a dream to handle. The Joolz is great for travel, but I wouldn’t want to use it every day with how much walking we do. TBH if you have the budget to get both, I’d get both. Look into getting them secondhand, so when it’s time to resell, you can recoup most of what you have spent hopefully.
r/Buyingforbaby • Stroller options ->I had a Yoyo and hated it, so got an Aer instead. I’m a lot happier with the Aer.
r/Buyingforbaby • Stroller help ->The Joolz Aer + is suitable for newborns as it reclines almost entirely. We used it for a long international flight when my baby was 12 weeks old. He is also quite small (in weight at least) but he slept fine while we were on that travel. Before and after the trip we always used the bassinet but now that he is 4 months old we are switching to the stroller alone, so I guess at 6 months you should be fine! We love it and our son loves it. For reference, my son at 4 months weights 6.3Kg.
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel stroller for a small 6 month old recommendation? ->Echoing the Joolz Aer+ recommendation. We've taken it on many flights (easy to stow overhead), on public transit, fits easily in rental cars, etc. Super-simple to fold down one handed (even while holding your kid).
r/TravelHacks • Strollers while travelling ->Joolz Aer plus - I cannot speak highly enough of it, it’s honestly a wonder of engineering. It’s super lightweight and you can fold it with one hand. It fits as cabin luggage (but also really good for going out and using public transport). It lies flat so appropriate for younger babies (or for good naps) and has a really big canopy thing (don’t know what it’s called? What you pull over to get shade).
r/NewParents • What's the best stroller you've used? ->Can you use the Doona as a car seat for airplanes? You'd have to buy an extra seat, but it is safer than having an infant sitting in your lap. (There's a recent NYT article from March on this.) This doesn't mean you won't need a travel stroller, but it gives you time to use at least one stroller to know what you like and don't like before purchasing one. You didn't list your budget? If you really do want a travel stroller, the Nuna Trvl Lx stroller can be a travel system with its infant car seat. The stroller also has a cocoon mode that's you can use from birth without the car seat or extra bassinet (although check with your pediatrician since the recline looks a bit high). Nuna is certified greenguard gold. A con though is that their seatback heights tend to be a few inches shorter than other strollers, so if you have a taller baby, then they will outgrow their Nuna stroller. Uppababy Minu V3 is similar but I think their seatback height is higher and they have car seat adapters compatible with other brands if you don't want to use their infant car seat. Both Uppababy and Nuna car seats can be used on airplanes. You can purchase a stroller travel bag for Minu and register it before flying so if you can't stash it in the cabin overhead, then damages from gate checking it will be covered. If the Minu V3 was available when I was looking, that probably would have been my top choice. Unfortunately it wasn't and there weren't many NB compatible travel strollers at the time. I ended up getting a Joolz Aer+ with their bassinet attachment. Someone mentioned Joie and I own the Joie Hazel myself for daily walks. I just got off a call with them for troubleshooting something else and confirmed that they do add flame retardants to all of their products. It is in compliance with CA Prop 65, but that just could mean another flame retardant that hasn't been tested/banned yet.
r/BabyBumps • Am I being naive in wanting an absolute UNICORN of a stroller? Or do I just need to accept that I actually need three strollers? ->"Travel System" just means a stroller bundled with a compatible car seat. Most strollers are compatible with multiple car seats with adapters, so I wouldn't limit myself to just packages advertised as travel systems. The notable exceptions are Uppababy car seats, which I think are only compatible with Uppababy strollers, and Nuna strollers, which are only compatible with Nuna car seats. Apologies in advance as my examples are mostly the higher-end brands; I swear I'm not a plug for any of them, it's just the space I've done the most research. IMHO, the main factor you should consider (aside from budget) is lifestyle. I'd broadly group strollers into 5 categories (excluding 3-wheelers and side-by-sides, which I don't know much about). Narrowing down which category fits your lifestyle best will help you eliminate a bunch of strollers immediately, which will make it much easier to further narrow down the best choice for you: 1. Ultracompact/travel strollers: - Most compact fold; IATA-compliant (i.e., approved as overhead luggage by most* airlines, although each airline may be different) - Typically <= 15-ish lbs - Non-reversible seats - Typically tiny wheels (<= 6" at rear) and minimal suspension - E.g.: Uppababy Minu v3, Bugaboo Butterfly, Joolz Aer+, Stokke/Babyzen Yoyo, Cybex Libelle, Peg Perego Volo, Ergobaby Metro +/3 2. Compact/Lightweight (Non-reversible) - Bigger (but still compact) fold, but probably not cabin approved. Can gate-check - Typically <=20-ish lbs - Non-reversible seats - Slightly bigger wheels (maybe 6-8" at rear) - E.g., Uppababy Minu v2, Nuna TRVL/TRVL LX, Cybex Beezy, Silver Cross Dune, Peg Perego Selfie 3. Hybrid (Lightweight Modular) - Bigger fold again, so won't fit in overhead, but should be able to gate-check. - <=24 lbs - Reversible (i.e., modular) seats - Bigger wheels (typically 7-10" at rear) - e.g., Nuna TRIV Next, Bugaboo Dragonfly, Peg Perego Vivace, Cybex Mios, Joolz Hub 2 4. Full-size Single (Modular) - Much bulkier fold; might not be able to gate-check, most likely have to be checked luggage - Typically >24 lbs - Bigger wheels (typically 10"+ at rear) - E.g., Uppababy Cruz v2, Nuna Mixx Next, Cybex Balios S Lux 2, Cybex Priam, Peg Perego Veloce, Silver Cross Reef, Bugaboo Fox, Joolz Day 5. Single-to-double - Has ability to add a second seat - Biggest folded dimensions; will be checked luggage - Typically >26 lbs - Biggest wheels (typically 11"+ at rear) - E.g., Uppababy Vista v2/v3, Nuna Demi Grow/Next, Cybex Gazelle S, Peg Perego Ypsi/Agio Z4, Silver Cross Wave, Bugaboo Kangaroo, Joolz Geo Everything above is a gross generalization - the Bugaboo Fox has massive 12" rear wheels and the Agio Z4 is lighter and folds more compact than most full-size single strollers. I think it might be easier to ignore categories 1 and 5 above as they have more specific use cases, unless you're having twins (although a side-by-side might be better in this case) or know for a fact you'll want the ability to toss the stroller in the overhead right from the get-go. So, between categories 2-4, the first question would be whether you want a reversible seat so the baby can face you? If you want this feature, then eliminate category 2. You're left with just 3 and 4, which should hopefully be a more manageable decision. Do you live downtown and walk everywhere? Then a compact fold might not matter for you and you'll want a sturdier stroller that can go over more varied types of terrain and stand up to all-day use - so stick to the full-size single category. If you live in the suburbs and drive everywhere, you might want what I've called a "hybrid", which has a reversible seat but still folds smaller than other full-size singles (easier to fit in trunk). As others have mentioned, I would also highly recommend trying them in-store. I actually found Dear-born baby to have more strollers to play around with than WCK, which had many options locked up.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller Stress - Any Recommendations [CA] ->Just took the Joolz Aer+ overseas with us and it was great. Super easy to fold and small enough that it fits in the aisle so you can push the pram all the way to your seat. It weighs only 6.1kg and is noticeably lighter than other travel prams which are closer to 7kg. As mentioned above, the level of sun shade is really good! I would've loved a lay flat, however this didn't stop bubs sleeping in the stroller. The way the stroller reclines is prob the worst feature as there's a zip and then a strap so it's either reclined or not and you can't really adjust it. If we didn't get the joolz, would've gone with the bugaboo. We just found the joolz slightly easier to open up. If you want one that folds completely flat and is a good price point then check out the babybee miles.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram ->Definitely recommend the Joolz AER+ We used it when we took bubs overseas at 5 months.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram recommendations? ->Have the joolz aer+ with no accessories. How annoying that everything is extra. I have a bit of regret getting it. I’m jealous of all the strollers that have a deeper recline and a footrest included in the price. In Australia the accessory prices are daylight robbery.
r/Buyingforbaby • Joolz aer+ vs bugaboo butterfly ->Love our Joolz aer. Would definitely buy it again.
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel stroller for a small 6 month old recommendation? ->Have you looked at the Joolz aer? Honestly I loved having the option of a bassinet and I used it way more than I thought. I didn’t have one with my first and hugely regretted it tbh so I made sure I had that option with my second
r/Buyingforbaby • Strollers...Help ->Just thought I’d update. I eventually chose the Joolz aer+. My reasonings being, the fully flat recline, not liking the position of the air vent on the butterfly (it will shine directly on baby’s face/head - I have a ginger baby so shade is imperative!), the 10 year transferable warranty and better on different terrains (lots of people I spoke with said that the butterfly tipped or didn’t cope well as it doesn’t have lockable wheels) I will say that I do have a few slight issues with it. The tiny basket size is annoying (I have a joie travel system and the basket size is immense) It’s annoying that the footrest or bar isn’t included in the price! Overall I’m really happy! Unfortunately I am one of those people who will always think the grass looks greener. But on the whole, it’s fantastic travel or main stroller! I also got a great deal (with £120 off!)
r/Buyingforbaby • Joolz aer+ vs bugaboo butterfly ->I have the Joolz aer + and cannot recommend it enough. We also have a bugaboo bee 5 for more off terrain trips but overal, the Joolz does great!
r/Buyingforbaby • What stroller should I get? ->We have the Joolz AER+. I really love it. You're right that it doesn't recline flat, but we've found the recline is still totally fine for naps on the go with our little one. The one handed fold is excellent and it steers incredibly easily. The straps are super easy to adjust and I like that the sun cover comes down quite low given that often when travelling we're out in the middle or the day more often. It's light enough to fold up and carry on your shoulder for a little bit if you needed to (obviously not to go for a hike! But like, through an airport or up a few flights of stairs or something is totally fine). We've taken it in the car, on trains, and on planes and used it non-stop and it hasn't shown any signs of wear. The only time we had issues on a plane was when we were flying between regional centres on a smaller, much older airplane where it didn't fit in the smaller overhead compartment. I think it was a Qantas flight and they just put it underneath at the gate and gave it back to us at the gate when we landed. So, you could ask about checking it at the gate if you're concerned. I haven't flown with it on Jetstar, but have found they often weigh carry on luggage and I think it's technically over the carry on allowance. So that might be worth checking (but might also be the case for other prams too!).
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram ->I say this as someone who could buy a Doona and not bat an eye at the price if that helps. It’s good in theory but then your baby has to be in a car seat 24/7 which isn’t good or safe. Babies shouldn’t be in car seats when not in the car. Positional asphyxiation is a risk. Also it’s just not good for their development. You’ll need a travel stroller anyways for when they’re too big for the Doona so might as well just start off with the regular travel stroller. I recommend Joolz Aer+ or Uppababy Minu V3 then just get the adapters for your car seat if you need a car seat on your trip. Both strollers fit in overhead bin
r/NewParents • Has anyone tried the Doona car seat/stroller? Is it really worth the hype? ->I’d get a full size and a travel that fits in the overhead bin. I’d recommend Joolz Aer+ for that
r/BabyBumps • Do most people have and use both a regular stroller AND a travel stroller? ->Joolz Aer+ fits in the overhead compartment and is amazing
r/NewParents • Is Uppababy stroller & car seat too much for airport? ->Doona is a car seat, not meant to be an every day stroller. It’s good for very short transits between needing to be a car seat but awful for using every single day walking around cities. You wouldn’t strap your kid into a car seat for hours on end at home. Get the Joolz Aer+ travel stroller instead, it’s great and fits in overhead bin. Do you even need car seat? You can get by with public transport in most places in Italy
r/Mommit • Should we bring our main stroller to Italy? ->I’m traveling tomorrow with my Doona and Joolz Aer. We are bringing the Doona on the plane and gate checking the stroller. I have the bassinet on the Joolz which is why I can’t put it in the overhead bin.
r/beyondthebump • Traveling with strollers ->I had a Yoyo with the newborn attachment, carseat adapters, etc... it absolutely was a royal pain in the ass to open & close, particularly when flying on my own with the baby. I used it for 6 months and finally was so fed up that I also bought the Joolz Aer+. The Joolz is 100000% nicer & easier to use! So mad I initially bought into the Yoyo hype.
r/Buyingforbaby • Yoyo stroller + all the things ->I have a bigger stroller (Cybex Gazelle) that I do like, but end up using our Joolz Aer+ far more often. It is so light & portable, but still feels substantial & smooth when using it.
r/Buyingforbaby • Looking at all the stroller choices is making me want to pull my hair out! ->We love our Joolz Aer+. It's very similar to the butterfly. Both are discounted on goodbuygear.
r/Buyingforbaby • Best Travel Stroller? ->We own the Joolz Aer Plus. First time we used it I was travelling with my then 7 MO by myself for the first time. It was really convenient, and we’ve loved it since. The single hand fold and open is fantastic. And since then it’s been our daily stroller.
r/UKParenting • Travel Stroller - Best Options / Real World Experiences? ->I think there’s a few things here: 1. Part of what makes stroller shopping so hard is the attempt to “have it all.” Realistically no stroller will truly do it all. Once you find comfort in knowing what it needs to do for you, you can rest a little easier and ignore what doesn’t apply. 2. Personally I decided that I wanted to prioritize lightweight & infant compatibility without using the car seat, so I narrowed down to that “cohort” (yoyo, bugaboo butterfly, joolz aer +, nuna trvl) 3. Once I narrowed it down I used some desktop research to eliminate (eg too much bad reviews on yo-yo for me) but the biggest driver at this point was interacting with the strollers in store! On paper I could have spent forever trying to debate Bugaboo and Joolz. In store — the stroller picked me. For whatever reason I kept crashing the bugaboo and had no problems with Joolz. In conclusion- half the battle is defining your criteria half the battle is going in person to see for yourself and then after that it’s just sticking to your convictions as you keep getting bombarded with marketing and advice where people apply their own needs and declare their choice the end all be all! You got this!!
r/Buyingforbaby • Stroller help ->We got joolz aer + with bassinet and are planning to get Nuna Pipa. Highly recommend that you try to experience them in person if possible. I really liked Bugaboo Butterfly too before “test driving” and maybe I’m a dork but I found the handling much more difficult on Bugaboo than Joolz - it was so obvious which to get bc with the doll/weight I kept running into things with Bugaboo 🤪🤦♀️. I could never have online researched my way to such a clear conclusion!
r/Buyingforbaby • Mid-size or travel stroller for "one and done"? ->We have a Joolz Aer+. It has a near full recline and there’s also a bassinet attachment you could get. The one hand fold/open is really convenient while holding baby but I’m not sure how it would do in the snow. Would baby wearing be an option for the snowy sidewalks instead? We also have a travel system (Uppababy Vista) but it’s not compact or lightweight. I can’t imagine having to deal with a newborn and bringing it up a flight of stairs alone.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller recommendation for a petite FTM due in the fall [ON] ->Travel stroller that has a bassinet attachment like a Joolz Aer plus or Yo-yo 3. (Both of these models can also hold a car seat.) personally I only used the car seat on the stroller once. I don’t like the ergonomics of leaving baby in the car seat for longer than necessary and my baby hated it. I find it much easier to buy a backpack travel bag when flying and to gate check the car seat. (You can also check it with bags for free). The baby will also grow out of the infant car seat around 14 months and none of the car seats for that age connect to a stroller. Realistically how many flights will your baby have before 14 months? For hiking I would get an osprey poco LT carrier. Much easier to navigate than a stroller when hiking. Especially if dad carries.
r/BabyBumps • Am I being naive in wanting an absolute UNICORN of a stroller? Or do I just need to accept that I actually need three strollers? ->I’m not sure about how upright the seats are but I tried both of these as well as the Joolz Aer plus and Yo-yo 3 and ended up getting the Joolz Aer Plus. The sales person told me they have had tons of issues with the butterfly’s wheels falling off and she can’t recommend it. The Minu was much heavier than the Joolz and Yo-yo. I didn’t like where the carry strap was located on the Minu. My husband couldn’t fold the yo-yo. Joolz was easy all around. You can also add car seat adapters and they have a bassinet if you want to use it for a small baby.
r/Buyingforbaby • Uppa baby Minu 3 or bugaboo butterfly 2 ->I absolutely love my vista. I use it almost everyday. We live in a major city and 85% of people have Vistas. I have traveled several times with mine but recently got a travel stroller for flights. I recommend the Joolz Aer plus travel stroller.
r/Buyingforbaby • Is secondhand Vista with all accessories worth the bulk? ->Just my two cents, most of the recommendations you’re going to get on the general Internet / Reddit aren’t going to pertain to you much, living in NYC. Your lifestyle and needs are extremely different than the typical person who lives in the suburbs in a house with ample storage and drives everywhere. Talk to your friends in NYC who are parents, or ask specifically in NYC corners of the internet, for the best advice. If you decide small and lightweight is what you really want and need, I could give an endorsement on the Joolz Aer+. I really like mine. Storage of “stuff” is tricky though. Due to its size, the basket is small. It’s inevitable with a stroller that size.
r/Buyingforbaby • Looking at all the stroller choices is making me want to pull my hair out! ->I use a Joolz Aer+ which folds small enough to put in the overhead bin. Got it during Black Friday when it was onsale. I also bring a Cosco Scenera Next DLX car seat onto the plane. I’ll strap the car seat to the stroller when rolling around the airport. It’s the setup has been a game changer tbh
r/daddit • Dad's, Southwest broke my stroller. How do you fly with yours? ->Joolz aer+! It’s so sturdy and well-made. Fits in the carry on compartment plus can be folded with one hand. We have the vista as well and we’re loving having the Joolz as the travel/second stroller.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Best lightweight travel stroller? [Ca] [BC] ->Joolz aer+! Fits in the overhead and also comfy for naps and hot weather as well.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Travel Stroller Recommendations [ON] ->The Joolz Aer+ ticks all boxes, but it's not free. Have a look for a deal on vinted, they come with a 10 year warranty.
r/UKParenting • The goldilocks travel stroller - does it exist?? ->In terms of mosquito nets, we got one from Amazon to cover the Joolz and that worked quite well.
r/UKParenting • YOYO3 vs Joolz Aer: Which Travel Stroller is Best for Holiday? ->I know you posted this a while ago but still going to weigh in - we went with the Joolz Aer+ on the recommendation from my sister in law who's a nurse with a 2yr old who does a lot of walking with him. We got the Clek Liing car seat to go with the Joolz and all in with some sales I think it was around $750. So knowing what the Nuna travel system costs I think Joolz is overall a better product that will also end up lighter. Also the car seat attachment to the Joolz in my opinion is much safer than an infant in the stroller but Joolz also has that extendable back should you need more leg room before transitioning. Good luck!
r/NewParents • Infant stroller - Joolz Aer + or Nuna TRVL LX ->We bought the [Joolz Aer+](https://www.reviewni.com/product/B0CYQBQNVL) for our trip to Italy (think: lots of trains, cobblestone streets, and airport chaos with a toddler in tow) and I wanted a travel stroller that wouldn’t make my life harder. I did a ton of research, tried the famous YoYo and the Joolz, and honestly…I was shocked by how much I disliked the YoYo. Maybe I had a dud, but it was such a pain to close - seriously, at one point I was on my knees struggling to fold it, and my toddler thought it was hilarious. 😂 Plus, assembling it was a nightmare (instructions were just pictures??). Enter the Joolz Aer+: absolute game changer. The seat is seriously comfy (I lowkey want to sit in it myself), the zip recline is smooth, and the sunshade is HUGE for naps on the go and folds small. But my favorite feature? I can close it one-handed while still holding my toddler (and a diaper bag, of course). I don’t need to put him down on gross airport floors anymore, and the shoulder strap is actually comfortable. Only wish it came with a rain cover and foot rest for the price, but overall - this blows all the cheaper options and the YoYo out of the water.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Please share any recommendations for a travel stroller ? ->We went for Joolz Aer+ and absolutely love it. It’s slightly lighter than the Butterfly, our tall 2 year old fits great in it, and he liked it better than the Butterfly too. Not to mention, the fold is a lot smoother on the Aer+. Best to try both in person. After reading reviews online, I thought I would be team Butterfly, but in person, I much preferred Aer+ and we’re happy with our choice
r/Buyingforbaby • Joolz aer+ vs bugaboo butterfly ->Go Joolz Aer+. Light, easy to use, can go on a plane (a lifesaver honestly!), my toddler who won’t sleep outside the house still sleeps in that
r/UKParenting • Travel Stroller - Best Options / Real World Experiences? ->Joolz Aer+ 100% the best. Easy to use, light, compact and the right size for cabin approval!
r/UKParenting • Best travel pushchair cabin approved? ->I love my Joolz aer+. We use it not on holiday as our main option now, started using it as such after my son turned 2. It’s amazing to have it with us in the cabin, no waiting around in customs with a sleepy child haha. We have travelled with our main buggy but it was just so big and heavy in comparison.
r/UKParenting • Travel stroller? ->We’re Joolz Aer+ fans here. Easy to use, always has been accepted in the cabin, light, excellent recline and my stubborn 2 year old even naps in it! I got about £120 off RRP by buying a colour they were discontinuing and staking discount codes, so it worked out to be £300 which was great for a new one
r/UKParenting • Best cabin approved pushchair? ->Take this with a grain of salt, as I ended up buying a completely different used travel stroller instead, but in trying them out in store, the joolz aer+ felt head and shoulders above the others for me. The butterfly felt heavy, as did the yoyo and the yo-yo’s folding mechanism felt way more complicated and annoying than any other we looked at. Also in case anyone else who is quite tall (over 6ft) is looking, I don’t recommend the mountain buggy nano or the stroller I ended up buying, the guzzie & guss oxygen (I don’t think it is still in production though, so would only be used ones on the market). They both feel a little short for me, but I can’t justify spending the money on the aer when I have a pricey cybex non-travel stroller already and don’t actually plan to travel with a stroller frequently.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Which travel stroller do you like the best? [mb] ->I have the joolz aer+ and am considering selling it for the minu v3 because of the larger basket. The aer doesn’t even hold my daily diaper bag. The basket is so small. I’m excited for the v3 improvements and it would be great as your only stroller because you can get a snack tray and other accessories for it. You might easily get a bassinet 2nd hand for cheap or use the car seat for newborn. Sidewalks in my neighborhood are not that smooth so the bassinet did not feel secure enough for the newborn. She actually hated it while strolling, but loved it in the house for taking her from room to room. We used the car seat in the stroller more than the bassinet which gave good shock absorption , but it was nice to have both.
r/Buyingforbaby • Anyone considering the new uppababy minu v3 for a newborn? ->We’re in Greece for a month and took our Joolz AER+. No regrets! We’ve used it most days.
r/NewParents • Stroller disagreement ->We have the bugaboo fox 5 for everyday use and absolutely love it. We live in an old style British city so it needs to handle cobbles. We also go out to the countryside a lot. We also have the joolz aer+ for travel, which is brilliant. We read a lot of reviews and it was generally regarded as the best for travel.
r/NewParents • What's the best stroller you've used? ->I live in a city and have both the bugaboo fox 5 and the Joolz AER+. I bought the Joolz for travel but it’s brilliant for the city. It folds up small, is light weight, lies flat, large sun canopy. It’s amazing. I love my bugaboo but it’s much bigger and heavier. I still recommend it though!
r/beyondthebump • Best stroller/travel system ->I do. I have used the Joolz Aer+ from birth. Love it. I live in a city and use it daily.
r/Buyingforbaby • Any parents using a Travel stroller for everyday use? ->I have the Joolz Aer+ as my everyday stroller in downtown Chicago and it’s amazing, but I never encounter bad sidewalks. We also use it as our travel stroller and it’s great - I get compliments in the airport when I fold it up into a tiny piece one-handed! It also looks sharp. Many love both the Joolz Aer+ and the Bugaboo Butterly - those seem to be the top travel strollers available currently. One differentiator is that the Aer has a foldable bassinet, unlike the Butterfly. Until recently, the Butterfly didn’t even have a bassinet option at all (which is why I didn’t get it when my son was born); now it does, but it doesn’t fold with the stroller like the Joolz bassinet does. As for a full-size, from what I’ve read, Bumbleride strollers would likely suit your needs well. Those are said to be great for rougher terrain / bad sidewalks. Cybex is another brand that makes nice full-size strollers. Best of luck!
r/Buyingforbaby • Stroller options ->I've enjoyed the almost 1 year I've had with my Joolz Aer+. It fits in the Southwest overhead bins - can't speak to other airlines as I haven't used them with my baby. Supposedly it fits into most/all European overhead bins. Super easy to collapse and open. I purchased the footrest sold separately by Joolz and have been satisfied. My child also used the Joolz bassinet when he was under 6 mos. The large canopy of Joolz is great. It also reclines pretty far back, and if you buy it in Europe, it reclines back all the way flat (not so for the US version). That said, Silver Cross is a great brand - I have their travel crib. I imagine their travel stroller is also good. Edit: Looked up the Silver Cross option. The only downside I see is a relatively small canopy, which can affect baby's ability to nap in the stroller (as well as protection from the elements).
r/Buyingforbaby • New Silver cross Jet 5 or Joolz aer+ ->Interesting post - thanks. We only have the Joolz. My husband and I are tall - he’s 6’4” - but I don’t think it’s caused problems for us. Another good one is the Bugaboo Butterfly - not sure if it is better suited for tall people than the Joolz, but it is very similar and people love it.
r/Buyingforbaby • Our Minu V3 review vs Aer + ->If you buy it in Europe, the Aer+ reclines all the way. If you buy in the US, it has a deep recline, but not flat. The bassinet folds. Look into Baby Gear Expert on TikTok and Anna in the House as they have reviewed this one, and Anna travels Europe with her cat, too.
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel Stroller Help! ->I love my Joolz Aer+, but I also use it as my primary stroller. It gets a lot of use. If you want something less expensive, look into the Mountain Buggy Nano.
r/Buyingforbaby • Best Travel Stroller? ->Buy a travel stroller (that fits in an overhead compartment on a plane) that has a bassinet option. Joolz Aer+ is one I’d recommend.
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->Are you in the US? I don’t think they have any flat recline strollers unforch but they do in Europe. I got the Joolz Aer+ which does fully recline (non-US only) and folds just as small as the yoyo but has a one handed fold instead of the 3 step fold of the yoyo. I’m also planning on using it from birth and using it as our only stroller. I did get the bassinet attachment tho since it folds with the stroller and I would have use for it around the house anyway.
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel Stroller from birth ->I went with the aer+ as it has a flat recline and longer canopy when the fully flat, which is not a feature easily found. (as far as my small research went) The wheels are huge (for travel strollers) and great on most terrains as the front wheels can be locked as well. On top of that, it is sturdy and there is no need to baby it. The only 'downside' is smaller basket size (which i countered by getting a goosket stroller bag) and that accessories are an extra cost. The rain cover, though, is really easy and nice to use. However, I am also considering getting the minu v3 as it seems to tick most of my boxes. (Will still keep the aer+ tho)
r/Buyingforbaby • Joolz aer+ vs bugaboo butterfly ->I have the Vista 2 on recommendations and love it. We're expecting our second with just over an 18 month age gap between the two so I'll likely use it as a double. This was not necessarily the plan but I remember when considering between this and the Cruz I was given the advice of getting the option to convert just in case. That being said I walk almost every day and live in an area where I regularly walk to do grocery shopping and some other shopping so I love the basket space. As others have commented it moves like a dream even when loaded up. When talking about lugging it in and out of the car, we have a Rav 4 so pretty good boot space but it does take up a lot of it. When our oldest was 7 months we ended up going to London and needed a travel pram, we invested in the Joolz Aer+ as I knew I'd be on my own with the baby a lot so I needed something that was light and easy to fold. It moves pretty well for a lightweight pram but definitely nowhere near as smooth or easy as the Vista. However, the joolz aer is now the pram that lives in our car, and I'm not sure how I feel about going back to dealing with Vista in the car when the second comes. We'll likely use it while little one is in the bassinet so we don't need to buy further attachments but past that point I think it will depend on how well our oldest takes to the scooter attachment. I definitely prefer the Vista as a sturdier pram and far easier to maneuver (especially when I'm also walking our dog), and do miss the basket space when using the Joolz Aer. However, if I wasn't in a position where I walked almost every day, sometimes multiple times a day, I feel like it would've become a dust collector since getting the travel pram. **This perspective may change in a few months when the second one comes.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Prams - did you regret getting a larger, heavy pram for your first baby? ->I’ve had the joolz for a little over a month, and so far it’s been the perfect stroller for all of my needs. It’s sturdy, turns are smooth, and has been easy to navigate curbs, stairs, hills etc. I have been able to easily carry it around folded with my little one in my arms, and open/close it one handed. We walk everywhere, occasional public transit, rarely car. Highly recommend if you have a similar lifestyle.
r/NewParents • Joolz “travel” stroller as main stroller? ->We have the Joolz Aer+ and it’s amazing, we really like it. The only downside is that it’s on the smaller side for us (we’re both quite tall), so we have the Aer in the car (plus for travelling/flying, which we do a fair bit since my in-laws live abroad), but we use our regular stroller (Joolz Geo 3) for longer walks from home. But the Aer is really nice, lightweight and super easy to handle
r/BabyBumps • Lightweight strollers useable from birth without a car seat? ->We went with the joolz aer+ when we traveled recently and it's wonderful! Folds up like a dream and so easy to carry.
r/toddlers • Travel stroller!! ->You will likely want a bigger stroller and then a travel stroller. Buy a used Cruz on marketplace and use the snug seat or bassinet And buy a joolz aer, they can use it around 4m or so
r/Buyingforbaby • Looking at all the stroller choices is making me want to pull my hair out! ->I didn’t love the minu. Love the joolz aer
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel Stroller for 18 Month Old ->I put together a list of my favorite! Ultimately, we went with Joolz, and I absolutely love it. Some of my friends decided on the Bugaboo Butterfly but I didn’t like the look of it. [The Ultimate Guide to Travel Strollers: Top Picks for Every Parent’s Needs](https://sproutwithsammie.com/the-ultimate-guide-to-travel-strollers-top-picks-for-every-parents-needs/)
r/toddlers • Recommendations for travel strollers! ->We recently traveled to TN. I was torn between the butterfly and Joolz aer+. We purchased both and I ultimately decided on the Joolz and I’m so happy. It is super lightweight but also very sturdy (we use the Nuna Mixx so I’m used to something sturdy). I’ve actually been using the Joolz more than my Nuna these days, it’s just so easy to bring around and the deep recline is huge for traveling through the airport. [The Ultimate Guide to Travel Strollers: Top Picks for Every Parent’s Needs](https://sproutwithsammie.com/the-ultimate-guide-to-travel-strollers-top-picks-for-every-parents-needs/)
r/NewParents • Best Travel Stroller? ->We went to Baby Bunting to try out the travel prams. Our requirements were a decent sized basket, one-hand fold, and seat to be as upright as possible (my son doesn't nap in the pram anymore so we weren't fussed about the recline function). Narrowed it down to the Joolz Aer + and the Baby Jogger City Tour 2, and settled on the Baby Jogger in the end. Found a good deal on Marketplace which included the belly bar for free. You might want to consider what's included with the pram, e.g. Travel bag, rain cover, belly bar. It adds up if you need to buy them separately.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Stroller advice ->I used the Joolz are+ with my 5.5 month old on a trip to Mexico 2 weeks ago. My friend had lent me an old yoyo and I preferred the joolz. I love it so much I’m using it as our around town stroller when we are going to restaurants and places that are a bit tight since it’s smaller than my uppababy.
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel stroller for a small 6 month old recommendation? ->We have the joolz aer+ and it came with us on a 6 week trip to the US. It fit in the overhead (we don’t use the bassinet attachment anymore to clarify) just fine but we ended up gate checking where we could. It’s light weight and can be folded to fit under tables at restaurants etc. We have folded and unfolded with one hand many, many times. Great travel pram and would recommend it.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Joolz Aer+ or Baby Jogger City Tour 2? (Or something else?) ->We use our Joolz Aer+ as our daily and travel stroller. Our son is almost 3 and the size of a 4-5 year old but he still naps in the stroller really well. Great for Disney because it fits in the overhead bin. We did buy the leg rest addition since he's so tall. Love it, no problems.
r/toddlers • Best airplane compliant stroller for Disney ->I live in Hawaii and have taken my almost 3 year old on about 20 flights to the mainland or Asia and back. We're big fans of #3. The car seat makes it hard to do activities and things on the plane and if they get tired of it, there's no where to put it. If we have to fly economy then it's easier for him to lay down as well. We have the Joolz Aer+. Waiting for a stroller after landing is a hell I never want to revisit.
r/toddlers • Best way to fly with two year old? ->Bugaboo butterfly. It’s only flaw is not going newborns but 5 monther you are sweet. I’ve done 14 days in Japan, 10+ domestic trips and now it’s our main pram doing 2-3k walks on the regular. It’s 2 years old and looking good Ooooorrrr Joolz aer+ which wasn’t an option when I got the bugaboo. Joolz aer+ is way better than the aer option when I was shopping aaaand it does newborn. It’s a little bit taller too which at 6foot the bugaboo does feel just a smidge lower in the handle.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram recommendations? ->I love my joolz aer+. We’ve gone all over with it and it fits in the overhead compartment. I specifically bought it based on the British air overhead size lol.
r/toddlers • Travel Stroller Recommendation? ->Yes! its great. also the butterfly and joolz aer +. we compared loads of the travel strollers and I ended up making a spreadsheet comparing loads of their features here [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1O2edDzHo9esNYuj-PoHSwfKchGVli1PXpKP9CLlW9Ko/edit?usp=sharing](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1O2edDzHo9esNYuj-PoHSwfKchGVli1PXpKP9CLlW9Ko/edit?usp=sharing) and to see if the fit in as carry on. Just check the airlines carry on allowance - there is info on that in the speadsheet too.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Travel stroller that fits in overhead compartment? [AB] ->I love bugaboo and use the fox 3 for our main stroller. However, I chose the joolz aer+ because this was to be used as a traveler stroller and my main priority was lightness/size. I haven’t had any issues with storing it in the overhead on any flights except once on a very small airplane but I was able to store it beneath the seat in front of me. Annoying because I had to buy a separate bumper bar and footrest, but outside of that, I’ve been very happy with it!
r/Buyingforbaby • Joolz aer+ vs bugaboo butterfly ->Bugaboo fox for normal stroller and jools aer+ for travel. We also got the veer wagon for the zoo, park, etc which has been great because she loves sitting in it
r/NewParents • What kind of/how many strollers do people have? ->We went with the joolz aer+ since I wanted to open/close with one hand. It’s awesome and I love it… however my only gripe is that the Aus version doesn’t lie flat. The recline is ok but our baby is pretty little for her age (7 months 10th percentile for weight) so she doesn’t have the weight to lean against the reclined seat very well. I might recommend to take bub to Baby Bunting or wherever has a demo model to put them in and see how you like it.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Joolz Aer+ or Baby Jogger City Tour 2? (Or something else?) ->Have recently gone through the research process for this! As others have suggested, go in store and check them all out. For us, the Joolz was the clear winner. It had the biggest and most accessible basket underneath. We have a Bugaboo at home already so were expecting the butterfly to be the one, but it wasn’t!
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Joolz Aer+ or Baby Jogger City Tour 2? (Or something else?) ->Travel easily by plane + big wheels are incompatible right there. Big wheels make it so the stroller won't be compact/airplane friendly. I have a Joolz Aer+ for my car/travel stroller. The bassinet attachment folds with it, which is far superior to most compact strollers. I highly recommend it for a compact stroller. Takes up barely any space in the car so it is really good as a car stroller, pretty smooth ride for a travel stroller, durably built, has a lot of optional accessories. There are car seat adaptors for most infant car seats you can get for it. I would not optimize on whether your travel stroller works with the car seat or not - soon enough your child will outgrow it but you will still be using the stroller and a convertible car seat for travel. If they do work together, great. If they don't, no big deal. We have done far more vacations with a convertible car seat and stroller than we ever did with infant seat and stroller. It's better to get the stroller you like since you will probably only spend about a year with the bucket carseat and 2+ with the stroller and lugging a separate convertible car seat on vacation. Better to just use the Doona for the first year since you have it. Then get a separate outdoorsy/jogging stroller. A lot of people like Thule or Bob.
r/BabyBumps • Am I being naive in wanting an absolute UNICORN of a stroller? Or do I just need to accept that I actually need three strollers? ->Joolz Aer is great for travel and everyday. Not great for rough terrain or if regular use involves needing to cart your groceries home in the basket. For car + sidewalk life + travel, it's fantastic. The Joolz Aer 2 also has an overnight approved bassinet so if you will be traveling during the newborn stage you wouldn't need to bring a separate bed.
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->Joolz Aer is great for travel and everyday. Not great for rough terrain or if regular use involves needing to cart your groceries home in the basket. For car + sidewalk life + travel, it's fantastic. The Joolz Aer 2 also has an overnight approved bassinet so if you will be traveling during the newborn stage you wouldn't need to bring a separate bed.
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->Uppababy Cruz and Vista are really smooth rides that can handle a variety of terrain and the strollers are quite durable. Nuna IME is not a smooth ride at all and has a low backboard so they can't fit children as tall as the Uppababies can. Depending on the walking you are doing, I like the Joolz Aer+ to keep in my car when we go places. We used the Uppababy exclusively the first 6 months and now use the Uppababy for neighborhood walks/going to the park and longer excursions, and the Joolz for day to day, in and out of the car stuff. Uppababy also has a HUGE basket. Oh I've just seen will be going on buses/subway. Get something like the Joolz Aer+, Yoyo, Bugaboo Butterfly. They are compact travel strollers that are good. Not as smooth of a ride as the Uppababy, alas, but they're all excellent. Joolz and Bugaboo are one hand folds which was important to me when choosing. Joolz has the larger basket but it's very much not grocery shopping sized. Many people love the Yoyo and it's the smallest but it felt dinky to me.
r/NewParents • What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco) ->It depends on your lifestyle. Are you driving to the stores, or walking to the stores? If driving, the travel stroller that folds up easily is a good choice. If walking, and you're going to be taking your stroller to and from the store and putting your shopping in the basket underneath, you're going to want something like the uppababy Cruz or vista that has a monster basket that can hold a lot. Do NOT get a travel stroller or compact if you will be taking it on gravel or trails. You'd want a full size or a jogging stroller. The difference is the jogging stroller won't hold as much in the basket, so it wouldn't be great for grocery shopping, though it would be better for trails. For walking around the neighborhood, any stroller will be good. We have an Uppababy Cruz for neighborhood walks and the parks and anywhere we go where we need a large basket (like if bringing a picnic), and a Joolz Aer+ (compact travel stroller) for my car, regular daily outings, and vacations. Both have bassinet attachments. Most people have multiple strollers for multiple purposes, because there's no such thing as one stroller that meets ALL needs, though many can meet most.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Moms, what attracted you to buy that stroller? ->A compact travel stroller is fine for this as long as you don't need it for jogging or rough terrain. Walks on sidewalks? Fine. Walks on land trails? Not gonna work. I have the Joolz Aer+, which also has a bassinet attachment, and fits in airplane overhead bins. Lots of people like the Yoyo but it's a two step fold whereas Joolz is a one step/one hand fold. The Minu is fine but too large for airplane overhead compartments so you will always have to gate check. Every now and then, airports do weird shit with gate checking so if you need to stroller to get through the airport, you may want the option of bringing it on board. We do if we have a connecting flight. Be aware that the tradeoff of going with a compact is less basket space.
r/BabyBumps • Is it possible to have just one stroller?? ->Looooved the Clek Liing. I also have the Joolz Aer+ and adapters.
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel stroller with car seat compatibility necessary? ->You won’t find one w a deep recline suitable for a newborn in the US bc of safety standards, you’ll have to use a bassinet attachment or buy from a different country, but that’ll be $$$$. My travel stroller is a Joolz Aer+ and I frickin love it. A true one-handed open/close.
r/Buyingforbaby • Stroller help ->Just another vote for Joolz Aer+. We are so glad we spent the money and bought this (over the Yoyo which everyone else had!) - it folds one handed, is compact, can be put in the overhead lockers. We use it as our everyday buggy now as it’s so lightweight!
r/UKParenting • Best travel pushchair cabin approved? ->We have the Joolz Aer and absolutely love it as our travel pram. We have also taken it on board to store in the overhead lockers with both Jet2 and British Airways and have never had a problem!
r/UKParenting • YOYO3 vs Joolz Aer: Which Travel Stroller is Best for Holiday? ->Bugaboo butterfly or Joolz Aer+. Personally we got the Joolz Aer+ international version as it has a flat recline. Used it for 3 months in Europe and was fantastic! Both are quite cheap retailing at around $600-700 depending on how much discount you get.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Best carry on travel pram ->We had the Joolz Aer Plus but returned it because I was hitting my feet on the axle in between the rear wheels (I am tall), and so we now got the Minu V3. It’s honestly a huge disappointment after seeing all the hype about the V2. Unlike most people who compared in store, we compared them on pavement and that’s where the main flaws showed up. 1) build quality doesn’t compare at all to the Joolz. It’s so plasticky and cheap feeling. 2) the handle bar squeaks after one use. Saw another reddit post with the same issue so it’s not just ours. 3) front wheels have massive play and so they do a huge clicky sound whenever pavement is not smooth. Joolz wheels were dead silent and smooth in comparison. It honestly feels like a cheap toy with plastic wheels. My first reaction was to troubleshoot the wheels and do a warranty claim because I can’t believe it’s supposed to do this. 4) It’s very hard to turn one handed in comparison to the Joolz which is effortless one handed. 5) it’s much heavier, but that is the only point we knew was a cons versus the Joolz before ordering so nothing new here. Now it does have some pros versus the Joolz: 1) seat recline is both easier to operate and larger range, letting you using it from birth 2) buckle is easier to operate 3) it doesn’t have an axle between the rear tires so if you push the stroller close to you and have long legs, you won’t hit it (the main issue that was a dealbreaker for me on the Joolz). 4) basket has better access If you are not 6’6" there is no hesitation to have. In fact my wife wants to get the Joolz again and be the only person operating the stroller because of how bad the V3 is in comparison, and I can’t really argue.
r/Buyingforbaby • Our Minu V3 review vs Aer + ->I own the Uppababy Cruz and knew for the travel pram I wanted to go with the most compact option and one that would be able to fit in overhead bins of tue aeroplane. After research and testing travel prams in baby bunting, narrowed down our options to the Joolz Aer + / Bugaboo Butterfly / Babybee Miles (although haven’t tested this one as it’s online only). Between the Aer+ and the Butterfly, the Aer+ was more compact, folded easier, and steering/manoeuvrability was better. While the Aus version of the Aer+ doesn’t recline fully, bub is still able to nap in it. Recently took it overseas and was able to store it on Jetstar and Qantas overhead bins.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Best travel stroller/pram: RedsBaby V3, Uppababy Minu V3, Pixi Travel Stroller ->I’m not sure if they’ve improved the folding mechanism between the 2 and 3, but the yoyo 2 is the biggest pain in the ass to fold. We travel a ton so we thought we wanted the yoyo, but the bugaboo butterfly and joolz aer+ were both so much easier. 1-button/hand close and very light!
r/Buyingforbaby • Yoyo 3 stroller as the only stroller? ->I very recently made this exact decision! They both seem like really nice strollers but I heard more from people who loved their butterfly. I like that the butterfly accommodates taller kids because I have a tall one year old. It also rubbed me the wrong way that you have to buy the footrest separately for the joolz aer+. I ended up finding a butterfly on Facebook marketplace for a good deal and I love it! I wish it could sit up a bit more (it’s still very slightly reclined when it’s all the way up) but it doesn’t seem to bother my toddler
r/Buyingforbaby • Joolz aer+ vs bugaboo butterfly ->No budget- Joolz aer+, it’s amazing. I use it day to day now
r/UKParenting • Best travel pushchair cabin approved? ->We use a Joolz Aer+ as our only stroller and it's fantastic, very lightweight and collapses with one hand.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Travel stroller recommendations [BC] ->I'm going to complicate your decision by recommending the Joolz Aer. One handed collapse and expand, collapses to carry on luggage size. Also not American as a bonus. I've used it as our only stroller for almost seven months.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Help me pick a travel stroller! [ca] ->We have the Cruz and it's nice, but it's so heavy and big, we end up using our travel stroller way more. He's only 7 months, so sometimes I regret we even got the Cruz. We have the Joolz Aer+ for travel. It's easier to take in and out of the car, single hand fold, takes up way less space in the car, the sun canopy is amazing. We bought the European version with a fully flat recline. Cons - only faces out, recline is annoying to adjust, much smaller basket, the most upright position doesn't seem that upright, but he doesn't care about that yet.
r/NewParents • What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco) ->Chiming in to recommend the Joolz Aer. It’s great. US regulation doesn’t allow totally flat recline but baby can sleep in it comfortably. The EU version does have flat recline. You can also get adapters to plop your infant car seat onto it.
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel stroller for 4 month old? ->We went to Japan and back with a Joolz Aer. Were able to get on first and popped it in the overhead lockers before anyone else. This was Japan Airlines. Keep in mind policies vary from airline to airline, some don't like you having them as carry on, no matter what
r/UKParenting • Best cabin approved pushchair? ->I’m so surprised at everyone mentioning the UPPABABY? That shit is heavy duty and IMO not what the OP is looking for at all. I’d highly recommend the joolzaer. Travel friendly, extremely lux European brand and allows bassinet attachment/ car seat so it’s perfect to use from birth. If you are in a typical urban/city living it will be perfect. If you are in rough terrain, might not be the most ideal but it’s under 7Kg, 8kg basket & fits everywhere and anywhere!!
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->Having just purchased a travel stroller, we looked at the stokke yoyo, bugaboo butterfly, uppababy minu v3, silvercross jet 5, and joolz aer -- all comply with most overhead cabin sizing. I would recommend also purchasing the stroller case/carrier so it looks more like a standard carry-on. Some airline staff might make you gate-check regardless of size once they see that it is a stroller. Having the cover/case will reduce that issue.
r/NewParents • Best Overhead Compartment Airplane Stroller ->I have the Joolz Aer and I LOVE it. We got it after we took our uppababy vista on an international trip and regretted every second of it. I usually keep my Joolz in my car and since my kid is 4 we now only use it for longer outings and travel but it for sure took the place of the uppababy the older he got. 1000000% worth it!
r/SAHP • Travel/Everyday SAHP Stroller advice? on Zoe Tour vs Joolz Aer+ ->I know it's not on your list but I tried out a few travel strollers at Nordstrom (Libelle, Joolz Aer, Uppababy Minu, and one of the Nunas) and ended up going with the Uppababy Minu. It's supposed to fit in an overhead bin but can't confirm. Ergobaby Metro was on our list.
r/beyondthebump • Travel Stroller Dilemma ->I love our Joolz Aer, I reckon we use it more than our regular pram which is the uppababy Cruz. It’s a one handed fold and only 6kgs. Been on multiple flights within Australia and international and never had any issues.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Redsbaby Skip 2 ->It doesn’t lay totally flat but I love the Joolz Aer for airplane travel and everyday use. The one-handed fold can’t be beat and it rides so smoothly.
r/NewParents • Help me decide on a stroller ->We use a travel stroller 100% of the time, two kids. I almost bought a Yoyo but stopped at Spouts on Union to test it and the Joolz Aer was far easier to close one handed than the Yoyo. So I recommend that. Its about 20 months old of daily use and wheels are fine. My first kid I had a heavy larger stroller and I’d hit corners and doors in stores all the door and one time the BART elevator was broken and then the escalator stairs broke half way up. Because it was mid day and lots of SF folks are peter panning themselves, no one helped me drag it upstairs. That sucked. That was the last time I used that stroller and transitioned 100% to travel stroller use. Also my first kid preferred to be baby carriered. My 2nd kid hated it after infancy - so each their own there.
r/AskSF • Parents Question --Which Stroller to buy for SF living? ->I live in a 2nd floor walk-up and I’m pretty much set on getting the Joolz for my 6 month old. I’ve been using a Mockingbird that I bought secondhand, it’s hefty and pretty much a tank. Would love something lighter. However, I did really love using the bassinet attachment with the Mockingbird, and I would definitely recommend a stroller that has the bassinet option like the Joolz. To be honest, we even used the Mockingbird’s bassinet as the baby’s main sleep space for about a month lol.
r/NewParents • Infant stroller - Joolz Aer + or Nuna TRVL LX ->Just an FYI. We have a travel stroller and they have made us gate check it every single time.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Buying a travel stroller vs using Uppababy Cruz on trips [on] ->With the amount of cobbles you will encounter in Italy you need something with good suspension. It was as good as non existent on the metro plus so if it's ergobaby you are keen on you should definitely consider the metro 3 over the older versions. Joolz aer also has great suspension but is also too expensive for a compact stroller IMO.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Travel stroller recommendations- Ergobaby metro+ vs deluxe [bc] ->Joolz aer makes a great second stroller. It’s well built and really compact.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Recommendations: Everyday stroller that is also good for traveling [on] ->We just used a Joolz Aer with ride on board for our 5/3 yos in the Azores. It has a seat. I could easily push it on the narrow sidewalks alone one handed and it was fab in the airport. Anything heavier/bigger would be hard to maneuver on narrow sidewalks. Depending on the city it might be ok but I really did like the narrow width of the Aer in that context.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Double travel stroller recommendations [ca] ->I strongly recommend you look into a good quality travel stroller. We have the joolz aer and it quickly became our “main” stroller. That thing rules.
r/Mommit • Should we bring our main stroller to Italy? ->Get a high quality travel stroller!! We have the joolz aer and love it. We have two kids now and use a wagon when we need to lug them both around. Or just take the joolz and a baby carrier so the 3yo and the 10mo can swap in and out. We had the car seat adaptors which we used for the first 6 or so months. Highly recommend.
r/BabyBumps • Is it possible to have just one stroller?? ->Either another joolz aer or Austlen entourage. The entourage is massive but so great for situations that require a lot of walking. You can collapse it to make it a bit shorter, but to be honest, it will be a bit annoying finding parking for it inside Disney. But you’ll probably love it for everything else. We use the fold down seat for our toddler and baby site in the front. It will take up a large part of your trunk. But that’s kind of what you get with a double tank. Another joolz are will give you ultimate flexibility when it comes to the fact that it’s small and ultra portable.
r/Mommit • Looking for Double Stroller Advice (Especially for Disney + Daily Use with a 3yo & 8mo) ->If you can afford it, go for the joolz aer it's truly the best! I think the new version will have a full recline
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram for 3 month old (overhead locker on plane) ->Joolz Aer. We also have an Uppababy vista. The Vista is too big to fit easily in the trunk of our car, so the Aer is our travel and on the road stroller. We even picked up the bassinet adapter and footboard (which is more like a scooter) and it works well for our 2 under 2. Highly recommended as a compact option. Downsides are ruggedness and small wheels. It’s not going to work as well on grass, snow, trails, etc.
r/daddit • Hey dad, what kind of travel stroller do you use? ->We have the Aer (got it before Aer+ came out) and have been using it for more than a year and a half. I have the bumper bar (I wish I could use the Aer + one that folds with it!) but chose not to get the footrest and haven’t really had an issue with it. My 2 year old is on the tall side and still has tons of room to grow. I haven’t flown with it but would have no hesitation to. I picked it because the fold was smoother, it is so incredibly easy! The storage is a bit smaller but that wasn’t a deal breaker for me. We use it as our main stroller Monday to Friday for walking to daycare and small errands and can keep it folded up easily at the front door of our condo. From the reviews I read the Joolz was a bit smoother than the Bugaboo but I guess it seems to go either way with different opinions, if you can try them both out that would probably be a good idea.
r/Buyingforbaby • Joolz aer+ vs bugaboo butterfly ->I ended up with 2 with that setup: a full size one that’s great on all terrain/weather (I have the bumbleride era) and a travel stroller we use day to day for shorter trips and can fit in a car or take on a trip if we fly (we got the joolz aer). The combo has been perfect!
r/Buyingforbaby • 2 Strollers?! ->When I first moved here I thought it was silly seeing so many Cadillac sized strollers with big wheels- seems contradictory. But then I realized its the cobbles stones, albeit not so wide spread in Berlin, I’ve now traveled with a stroller to Copenhagen, Prague and Lisbon and the bigger the wheels the better really or else they get stuck between stones. Thats why in Berlin and CPH buggaboos are so popular. Also, easywalkers, joolz and joie.
r/berlin • Good stroller for Berlin? ->I have both the Uppababy Vista and the Mockingbird. The Mockingbird is a perfectly fine stroller and if I didn’t also have the Uppababy I honestly wouldn’t know what I was “missing out” on. The V2 is just that much smoother to push, and that much smoother to fold/unfold. However now that my son is almost 18 months, we don’t really use either stroller and rely more on the Joolz Aer travel stroller
r/NewParents • What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco) ->I have a Joolz Aer and love it (with the foot rest attachment), my son is 11mo and 90 percentile too and fits fine. I use this pram far more than my Redsbaby nuvo and that's because it's just easier to take around. We've had no issues travelling with it, and my son has slept in it perfectly too. I am however contemplating getting the redsbaby skip3 once I have tested/seen reviews because I feel like where the Joolz lacks, the redsbaby is so good (better basket space + better recline). In saying that, I'm very happy with my Joolz and I'd be happy to keep that, I just feel a sense of loyalty to redsbaby haha!
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Help - Bugaboo Butterfly, Joolz Aer+ or Redsbaby Skip 3? ->The trike is not easier to bring up and down the stairs 😂. I have a joolz aer and it’s way easier to pop it up and down and sling it over my shoulder than move the trike which is light but bulky as hell. I strongly recommend not going that direction. Does your toddler go up and down the stairs by themselves? Can you explain more about it being too much to handle? I find the travel stroller so easy to break down/sling over my shoulder. Is it just the weight? I haven’t tried that stroller but it’s half the weight. Does it have a strap/one hand fold?
r/Mommit • Umbrella Strollers / Lightest Strollers ->We just flew with the joolz aer and it was great. We chose it over some of the others because of the one handed fold (I highly recommend getting one with these). I saw someone with a cybex that was teeny tiny but not sure if it has the 1 hand
r/NewParents • Favorite strollers for flying? ->We’ve flown with our Cruz and a joolz aer and it’s honestly night and day. You could definitely do it, it’s just bulky to get through security. It’s really just a personal choice. The aer reclined pretty far back though
r/NewParents • Is Uppababy stroller & car seat too much for airport? ->Bugaboo Kangeroo plus Turtle infant car seat is what we went for, no issues and great for uneven sidewalks due to larger wheels. Joolz Aer for travel. We will need a convertible car seat eventually but the Bugaboo travel set (bassinet/car seat and now regular seat) is super ideal!
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->Uppababy minu 3! I tried the bugaboo, Joolz are, metro and hands down prefer minu 3. Overhead compatible, sturdy, big basket and full recline.
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel stroller ->I also have a Joolz Aer and love it!!!
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Best travel stroller [ab] ->100% Joolz aer. It’s actually been our only pram since birth. It’s made trips on planes to Scotland, Singapore and Japan. Absolutely unbeatable, light, adaptable, great one handed fold and comfy! No other option IMO !
r/UKParenting • Best travel pushchair cabin approved? ->I hate the uppababy. It's really bulky, if you want a lightweight stroller, I highly recommend the joolz aer. I live in a city and take it on transit all the time, it's easy to fold and unfold and is super light.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller Stress - Any Recommendations [CA] ->I recommend getting a high quality travel stroller over a full sized one (bugaboo butterfly, joolz aer, or yoyo). I have both and most people much prefer the travel stroller except for my 6’3” husband (travel strollers don’t have adjustable handlebars). It’s so light and compact and eventually your kid gets heavy enough that the full sized stroller feels hefty when pushing.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Moms, what attracted you to buy that stroller? ->I haven't flown with it, but I use Joolz aer day to day. The handling is absolutely miles better than my previous flimsy travel pushchair, the fold and carry strap are great, and the canopy and rain cover are really high quality. Downsides are the zip down recline isn't the most convenient and you have to buy expensive extras that should come with it (footrest, bumper bar). First I bought a cheap travel pushchair thinking I wouldn't use it often, but ended up using it all the time for nursery run and bus/tube - and I always hated the canopy and getting it up kerbs. And eventually I bought an expensive one anyway for baby 2...
r/UKParenting • Travel Stroller - Best Options / Real World Experiences? ->We have the aer and have recently used on both BA and Jet2 in the cabin with no issues. I think it’s a great stroller! Only slight annoyance is you have to buy the handle bar separately (another £40!!)
r/UKParenting • YOYO3 vs Joolz Aer: Which Travel Stroller is Best for Holiday? ->We have the Joolz Aer and I really like it
r/Buyingforbaby • Best reclining travel stroller? ->Joolz aer!
r/UKParenting • Choosing a compact travel stroller that I can use with a buggy board ->Joolz aer is the best pram ever I love it. The yoyo 3 was recalled if I’m not mistaken? John Lewis told me that.
r/UKParenting • YOYO3 vs Joolz Aer: Which Travel Stroller is Best for Holiday? ->Get the Joolz Aer!!!! It’s the best! You can also use your car seat with adapters for the first few months before the baby can support herself. We use it SO much! We have the uppababy vista too and our nanny uses it to take the baby around but in truth we could have skipped it and just had the Joolz
r/NewParents • Joolz “travel” stroller as main stroller? ->Love my Joolz Aer! The basket isn't huge but works for my 3 year old. Most people say it's a better push than the Butterfly and better for travel than the Minu. Recommend checking it out.
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel stroller for 3yr old ->We live in Europe and use a joolz aer. Cobbles are bumpy but tbh my kid loves it and thinks they’re fun.
r/toddlers • Best Stroller for tall 2 year old for Europe/ cobblestone ->Have you tried the Joolz aer? Is very light and easy to fold. You can buy it used in marketplace for a good price
r/BabyBumps • Best Stroller for Quick Trips and Tight Spaces? ->Joolz aer! Awesome stroller and meets all tour requirements
r/Buyingforbaby • Looking for travel stroller that accepts rider board ->I have uppababy cruz which is comfortable but huge. As much as i like it, it is just too inconvenient to take the baby anywhere in a car because its heavy and needs to be disconnected from the seat to be folded. So this summer i bought Joolz Aer, it is equally comfortable, compact and easy to load/ unload from car.
r/NewParents • What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco) ->I can’t comment on the YOYO, but we have the Joolz Aer and I love it, I use it as my every day pram. I went to try them out in the shop (Aer vs Bugaboo) and they said they didn’t even bother stocking the YOYO anymore because people never went for it after trying all 3, mainly due to the fold being more complex.
r/UKParenting • YOYO3 vs Joolz Aer: Which Travel Stroller is Best for Holiday? ->We did Vancouver Singapore (16h) with our 18mo last January. We paid full price for all 3 of us for extra leg room and we used cosco scenera for car seat and joolz aer for travel stroller. We gate checked the stroller bc flight was full. Didn't bring toys, just brought snacks. And we took red eye flight. Bring carrier. She thankfully slept for most of it, in our hands.
r/NewParents • Long-haul flight with 10 month old - questions! ->Joolz aer. It fits into overhead bin and it depends whether it's a full flight or not. We had it almost always gate checked bc it's always full flight. We flew with AC.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Travel stroller that fits in overhead compartment? [AB] ->We have a dog, so i asked my friends with dog what stroller they are using. We ended up with 2nd hand jogging stroller for neighborhood walk and when i saw my friends with joolz aer, i got one 2nd hand too. That one lives in the car and travels with us. She is now 20mo and still loves her stroller.
r/NewParents • Strollers - what did you wish you knew before you bought? ->We have joolz aer, it has traveled with us to asia from canada.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Travel Stroller Recommendations [ON] ->We have joolz aer and when we flew to Nashville in april, they told us to gate check bc they were fully booked (no eztra room in overhead)
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Do WJ/AC allow travel strollers in overhead compartments? [ca] ->I obsessed over a travel stroller. Here are my notes on these two. colugo: not compatible with my carseat, but infant kit available and folds compact with it, no second kid options , maybe 3rd party, no belly bar, bin is deep. Middle of the pack weight wise. Fits on plane. Scored 80/108 on my rubric Butterfly: not car seat compatible, high Price, no infant option, mid range weight wise. Lower child weight limit than colugo, but higher bin weight limit. Scored 80/108 on my rubric For the record, we purchased the Joolz aer after all my obsessing. And we use a luggage strap to tuck the Cosco seat up behind the stroller seat under the handlebar
r/toddlertips • Bugaboo butterfly or colugo travel stroller ->Also in Alberta! I absolutely love our Joolz Aer.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Best travel stroller [ab] ->Will you be able to take pram on plane or will you need to get it with luggage at the end destination At Gatwick we get prams back at the luggage area and it can be a HIKE with bags and kids even with the carrier I have a joolz aer but the driver for buying it was that we live up a flight of stairs so I need to fold with one hand and carry with baby Also have you a travel bag - we had a uppababy vista broken in transit so now always use a travel bag when we check the pram in
r/UKParenting • Travel stroller? ->We have the aer and I love how it folds one handed I went to shop to buy the yoyo but after testing both I preferred the aer For the cost it’s worth going for a road test That being said everytime I bring pram on as carry on they ask if it’s a yoyo and they seem to think only yoyo are allowed on plane but no one has ever stopped me and we fly roughly once a month
r/UKParenting • YOYO3 vs Joolz Aer: Which Travel Stroller is Best for Holiday? ->You don’t neeeeed, but I won’t lie, they’re nice to have. We’ve gone through several: we have the big boujie one which was my first big pregnancy purchase. It converts to a double, and has a huge storage basket. We use this around the neighborhood. It got a lot of KM during mat leave and still does on our daily walks/trips to the park! We have the bugaboo butterfly for travel. It fits well in the car and is easy to lug around. We had a jogging stroller (hand me down) which would’ve been great for snow or running, but if I was out with the stroller, I had my dog who is not a runner 😅. If you have space and live in the suburbs and want to go on trails and runs, I think it’s totally worth it to have multiple strollers for different occasions. If you live in the city and are tight on space, I’d spring for a fancy travel stroller (namely joolz aer) for which you can purchase a bassinet and car seat adapters and use that as your workhorse. I emphasize fancy because the features, suspension, folding mechanism on the premium models will make things a lot more pleasant.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Do we really need multiple strollers ? [qc] ->Remember you can rent. We have a large Hauck runner and it’s far too big to travel with. Been keeping my eye on Vinted, marketplace etc and people still wanting £200+ for smaller travel strollers and I don’t even need one except for our holiday. Ended up renting the Joolz Aer for 2 weeks including delivery and home collection for £50.
r/UKParenting • The goldilocks travel stroller - does it exist?? ->I just went through this same decision and spent hours painfully researching, also went to try both of them out in person. I finally landed on the Joolz but haven’t used it with baby yet so can’t really vouch for it, but a few reasons I chose it: it is a little bit lighter, I liked the handle better, people seem to like the carry strap more, the push and maneuverability seemed more smooth. I also felt like I found more people on the internet that were team Joolz, but honestly it seems like both are really good options. Once you add the bumper bar and footrest it’s nearly the same price as the butterfly + bumper bar. I actually found a Netherlands site that sells it for cheaper than in the US and since it is the EU version it has a lay flat recline.
r/Buyingforbaby • Joolz aer+ vs bugaboo butterfly ->We live in rural AB and have two - a Thule urban glide which we use for our outdoor adventures/neighbourhood walks and is a jogging stroller. Our other is a Joolz Aer which we’ve used extensively for international and domestic travel, as well as our day to day shopping, and trips to urban centres! We splurged and got the bassinet and used that for the first 6 months which was nice! We got infant car seat adapters for both strollers but only used them a handful of times - I was much happier to baby wear or use the bassinet attachment. Now that LO is just about 2 and we are expecting our second, we bought a double Thule chariot to have the option of strollering with two but predominantly to use as a bike trailer. Our older one is on the cusp of not wanting to stroller much, and we plan on increasing her walking distance now that the second will be the primary stroller user.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Do we really need multiple strollers ? [qc] ->I'd get a foldable buggy, like Joolz Aer! It's super convenient, you can strap in your toddler and not worry about him/her running. Also there's room for all the toys for sand or groceries in the basket below.
r/babywearing • Public transport families: how are you getting around with more than one kid?? ->Joolz travel stroller is really compact. We take it on vacations all the time and great for around the city
r/NewParents • Best travel stroller ->We hired a bugaboo butterfly from Baboodle when we went to Canada with a transfer at Heathrow. Thoroughly recommend both Baboodle and the Butterfly. Think it was about £60 for a month. They do also have the YOYO and Joolz which you can hire for a shorter time. The stroller was brand new, delivery and return process was super easy!
r/UKParenting • Best cabin approved pushchair? ->We did a lot of travel with our now 2.5 year old. Is he already 2 years old? If so, legally he will need his own seat. For me personally, we got her a seat since she was around 15 months old because she was too wiggly and can use the extra space for her to stretch out, play and sleep. Flight logistic: Typically, airline will serve meal 1 hr after take off. If your little one is a heavy sleeper, that could work. My daughter is typically a good sleeper, and during our recent midnight flight (flight departed at 12am), thankfully she was sleeping through the entire meal service. We pushed our schedule a bit later that day so she nap at around 3-5pm and was able to stay awake until take off. Car seat: Will you need a car seat at your destination? If so, you might want to bring it. We use the cosco scenera next which is very compact and lightweight, and fits in the airplane seat. But if you don't need the car seat, you can leave it. I typically bring an inflatable foot rest - it helps my daughter to rest and to prevent toys falling down to the ground (so we don't have to bend down to pick it up 1000x). Stroller: I have Joolz Aer and I loved it - although I wish the basket is a bit bigger. Other option is the ergobaby metro 3, a lot of my friends have it and love it. Or the bugaboo butterfly. Some airline only believe that YoYo is the only stroller that can fit in the overhead bin. If they don't let you bring it as a carry on, you can gate check them. just put a stroller cover (like the travel bag) on it before you gate check because mine has been damaged from being gate checked. Tips: lots of new toys, snacks and allow screen time! Offer breastfeeding during take off and landing, the sucking helps with ear pressure. If he refused, get him to drink water. juice or suck on lollipop. I love the melissa & doug water book, stickers and play doh. I used to hate play doh but she loves it and keep making the same "snowman" for 30+ minutes haha. Lastly, I haven't been to Portugal yet but I heard it is so kids friendly and the foods are amazing. Have lots of fun and most of the times, our kiddo surprise us (in a good way) during vacations.
r/toddlers • Advice Needed: Flying from Boston to Portugal with My Breastfeeding 2 Year Old....First Flight! ->I honestly love my travel stroller at this point. So easy to transport and has a huge shade, almost lies flat. I have the joolz aer and I love it. Even if you’re not planning on traveling, we have switched to that one for neighborhood walks and anytime we go out. It is not all terrain, but works fine for sidewalks
r/NewParents • What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco) ->
