"It’s the only stroller we have and I’m not sure we’ll even end up getting a non-travel system since this has everything we need!"
"comes with absolutely everything you need. Car seat and the regular seat can convert from bassinet to upright."

"And the wheels seem great too, extremely smooth. ... We wanted a stroller with significant back wheels as we live in a colder climate where snow will definitely be a factor. This one ticked all our boxes"
"we’ve tested it outside and it rides smooth"
"The stroller also handles really well. Like it’s a really smooth ride."

"Honestly got the Zelia due to the fact that it was an all in one system + included the infant seat. We didn’t have to worry about buying a bassinet attachment, a cup holder, etc, it literally comes with everything and is also cheaper and more light weight."
"it was $900 for everything!"
"it was a great deal when on sale for a travel system"

"The bassinet is fantastic for taking the little one out and about and having him sleep in it."
"The bassinet feature lays truly flat and is nice and roomy so I imagine I’ll be able to use it for quite a while."

"it folds quite large and takes up basically the entire trunk of my station wagon"

"The only thing I don’t love about it is that I sometimes find the infant car seat straps difficult to adjust (loosen and tighten)"

"We wanted the maxi cosi, but the infant car seat is extremely massive (heavy and spacious). ... The seat itself was heavy without a 10 pounds baby."
"There was no way I could seat in our VUS as a passenger with this infant car seat."
"It fits well in the back, but the passenger seat needs to be moved up extremely closely to the dash. ... It doesn’t fit in the middle well because then both seats need be adjusted the same."

"that freaking thing was HEAVY. Especially the car seat. Lugging that into the store for a quick run, or even to/from a restaurant for ex, was a pain in the ass."

We have the new maxi cosi zelia system. I think the mixed reviews are from an older version and they’ve since improved the wheel and shock system. Anyways our baby isn’t here yet lol but our test runs have all been great so far.
Yes, the stroller marker it insanely overwhelming. I had no idea how complicated it all was before I got pregnant! We went to west coast kids to check some out in person and left empty handed, feeling extremely overwhelmed. In the end we decided on a travel system - we bought the maxi cosi “new generation Zelia”
Maxi cosi zelia - the newest version is amazing! Mixed reviews are from the old version.
We love it! They redesigned it as of February and made the shock better and wheels bigger. It’s the only stroller we have and I’m not sure we’ll even end up getting a non-travel system since this has everything we need!
Maxi cosi zelia luxe. Bonus is that it comes with an infant car seat. I’m in Alberta and this stroller is a workhorse, it has such a smooth ride, comes with everything you could need. We used the bassinet function for the first 2.5 months of baby’s life and then converted it. We’ve also traveled with it twice. Includes car seat converter, cup holder, rain cover, winter cover. And it’s pretty!
We did go into a store to look at them but besides attempting to fold one up, we never bothered lifting any of the components. I ended up getting the Maxi Cosi Zelia 5-in-1 car seat and stroller and while it did the job, that freaking thing was HEAVY. Especially the car seat. Lugging that into the store for a quick run, or even to/from a restaurant for ex, was a pain in the ass. And the sun protection cover extended right under the handle (flush) so if it was up all the way, which it often was, it made carrying more of a pain. In a perfect world I probably would have sprung for an all terrain type so I could have gone for walks in the winter or even on gravel with ease.
We have the Maxi-Cosi and love it. I have a small SUV and the car seat fits but it is tight for whoever is sitting in front of it. Otherwise it’s great and love the stroller and bassinet
I'm not a fan of the Maxi Cosi. The car seat it comes with is big. The stroller itself is annoying to flip from back facing to front facing mode. It doesn't handle very well when the wheels are wet.
I went to West coast kids, they had the largest selection, so we could actually try things out that were in our price point. I feel like we should have gone for a slightly more expensive one that can transition to 2 babies as we will likely have a second child quite quickly. Overall I am happy with the stroller we got though! The staff was super helpful in directing us to strollers in our price range that were suitable for our intended walks. I live in a small town, with paved and gravel roads. We ended up with the maxi-cosi zelia 5in1 travel system. The infant car seat was easy to install in the car, and the bassinet converts into a toddler seat, so there are only 2 attachments which I like! Both the car seat and the bassinet/toddler seat can be forward or rear facing. The storage basket is large as well.
We have the Zelia luxe system and love it (our baby is 3 weeks old). Very easy to set up and fits great in our trunk (we have an HRV so not huge but not tiny). The car seat is a little big but still fits totally fine in our car and will likely last our LO longer than some of the more compact seats anyways so for us was worth it!
There so low to the ground! That was one big factor for me. I ended up in getting the maxi cosi zelia luxe travel system. I love it the car seat has a taxi mode
I have the maxi-cosi luxe and have been using for three months now. We use it all the time. The bassinet is fantastic for taking the little one out and about and having him sleep in it. The bucket car seat fits in my mid-size SUV and keeps him comfortable. The stroller seems to hold up well folding and putting in the trunk of my car.
I went with the maxicosi zelia ( which includes the car seat ) as well as the bassinet which adjusts to a toddler seat. It has great storage, the seat / bassinet adjusts to face parent or outside. I believe it also came with a rain cover as well. I didn't use it for daily walks in the winter/snow however the times it was used, I had no complaints with how it navigated.
I was team Uppababy for the longest time and was ready to shell out 2k+ for a stroller, car seat, and bassinet - don’t get me wrong they are GORGEOUS…but a few weeks ago I was just like…am I seriously considering this?! My husband was more than happy to still get one and just wanted me to be happy, but I just couldn’t justify the total costs and would much rather spend money on other things. We ended up going with the Maxi Cosi Zelia travel system, and we are SO happy with it right now! Easy to set up, the car seat and stroller is light, we’ve tested it outside and it rides smooth…and it was $900 for everything! I wouldn’t let the reviews totally change your mind if it’s still one you’re considering.
