I registered for the Nuna PIPA RX car seat and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT3 - Baby Jogger sells a little adapter for Nuna :) All the reviews I read said that Baby Jogger handles better than Nuna or Uppababy, is good on all terrain, and is super easy to fold down (important to me). I also got the MomPush Meteor 2 that has lots of storage space and a giant bassinet on it - my cousin swears by it and we’ve gone on walks over an hour. Her 2 year old still uses it, bassinet doubles as changing table Link to Nuna adapter: https://www.babyjogger.com/accessories/shop-all-accessories/city-mini-gt3-accessories/nuna-car-seat-adapters-for-city-mini-gt3-/SAP_2216846.html

The Mompush Meteor 2 is $200, fits your price range, even with a $500 car seat The only thing is I’m not sure it can be used as a travel system with a car seat \[edit: it can be, travel system adapter is included!!\]. I got it because I’ve seen how my cousin still uses it for her 2 year old: kid can sit up in it, and lie completely flat for naps in the very spacious bassinet. Lots of storage, good suspension/easy to handle, folds up nicely, and the bassinet can also be used as a changing table on the go. https://preview.redd.it/pn8s8gpm6r9f1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a8426d664faf17ffa2ec8d3aebf8f273f294ad59

I wanted a stroller that was a bassinet and regular seat (not an extra attachment for the bassinet cause I’m not storing extra crap) AND it had to be a reasonable price. I purchased the MomPush Meteor. Honestly I love it and feel like no one else mentions it on these post. It’s only $200 and it’s compatible with multiple infant car seats. We also have a Munchkin Sparrow that we use for travel and it stays in my car because it is so compact. Originally bought the sparrow for air travel only and ended up using it so much more.

Ours is so convenient for my small car (don’t HAVE to carry an extra stroller in it) but the doona is so heavy that I basically just leave it in the car as much as possible so I don’t have to carry it up and down our apartment stairs. I’m 5’2”, and the doona is pretty low to the ground but my 6’3” hubby doesn’t complain. I also don’t love the idea of my babe being in a car seat for super long so I have a Mompush bassinet stroller. But for quick trips like the doctors office and the convenience of not HAVING to pack an extra stroller (even though I do) it’s nice. My dad gifted us the doona. Otherwise I probably would have started with a Nuna or convertible car seat.

I got a $99 MomPush one on Amazon (during a sale). It starts as a bassinet then adjusts to a seat. Kept it pretty simple - it’s good for outdoor walks and I didn’t really care if it got dirty or a little banged up. The canopy is UPF 50, which was nice, and there’s a cold weather cover you too. The bassinet/seat detaches and it folds up well. No way was I going to spend more than $150-$175 on a stroller! Now that we’re about to have two we’re considering leveling up, but I really just don’t think it’s necessary to get something super fancy.

We have the mompush because we also didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg on a secondary travel stroller. Comes with lots of accessories and a snack tray. For the price, we’ve been impressed. “Best” travel stroller on the market? Probably not. But as far as quality, it’s a good bang for the buck without breaking the bank. I see it lasting a long time.
