Nothing. I got the Mompush ultimate2 which worked with my maxi cosi luxe infant car seat and came with a bassinet too, and my it’s exactly like the uppababy. The suspension is awesome. Handles all the terrain around our neighborhood and long walks by the creek. Even came with a rain jacket and insulated zipper up cover for the bassinet and stroller part for their legs in the colder weather. Bucket area beneath is awesome for groceries, many a target runs/small Costco runs even. Best 300 bucks we spent.
r/NewParents • What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco) ->Hi yall! I’m looking for a dupe for the Nuna Swiv stroller that is able to rotate 360 all the way and has a big basket. The Swiv is $1000 by itself without any added bonus and I feel like there is something similar out there that I just haven’t come across. I tried the Mompush ultimate but only the front wheels rotate 360 and the rear wheels dont. If you know of any please let me know! Thanks!
r/NewParents • Strollers - what did you wish you knew before you bought? ->Ours is so convenient for my small car (don’t HAVE to carry an extra stroller in it) but the doona is so heavy that I basically just leave it in the car as much as possible so I don’t have to carry it up and down our apartment stairs. I’m 5’2”, and the doona is pretty low to the ground but my 6’3” hubby doesn’t complain. I also don’t love the idea of my babe being in a car seat for super long so I have a Mompush bassinet stroller. But for quick trips like the doctors office and the convenience of not HAVING to pack an extra stroller (even though I do) it’s nice. My dad gifted us the doona. Otherwise I probably would have started with a Nuna or convertible car seat.
r/NewParents • Has anyone tried the Doona car seat/stroller? Is it really worth the hype? ->I got a $99 MomPush one on Amazon (during a sale). It starts as a bassinet then adjusts to a seat. Kept it pretty simple - it’s good for outdoor walks and I didn’t really care if it got dirty or a little banged up. The canopy is UPF 50, which was nice, and there’s a cold weather cover you too. The bassinet/seat detaches and it folds up well. No way was I going to spend more than $150-$175 on a stroller! Now that we’re about to have two we’re considering leveling up, but I really just don’t think it’s necessary to get something super fancy.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Moms, what attracted you to buy that stroller? ->We have the mompush because we also didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg on a secondary travel stroller. Comes with lots of accessories and a snack tray. For the price, we’ve been impressed. “Best” travel stroller on the market? Probably not. But as far as quality, it’s a good bang for the buck without breaking the bank. I see it lasting a long time.
