I have the mompush velo and it also folds down into a bassinet - down to about 170° rather than a flat 180 but I’m guessing that won’t be a problem. Haven’t used it yet as baby is too comfy right now but I’m expecting it to be great. The velo folds down to carryon size for travel!
Agreed with this. I believe there is a mompush even smaller than the Velo. We have traveled internationally with our 3yr old since she was about 4 months old. All over the US, St.Marteen, Anguilla, Scotland, UK 3 times, and we head to Spain/italy this Sunday. The mompush velo has been the only stroller that has been liked enough to make it to a 2nd flight. It’s way nicer if you have had a rough travel day being able to put the stroller in the overhead bins rather than waiting on the skyway to get your gate checked stroller.
3... I got a Evenflo Shyft Dualride (like Donna) which I use as car seat and quick errands. A Cybex Gazelle from neighbourhood walks, then figured out its too big and heavy to put in the car and travel so I just got a mompush Velo as my travel stroller.
Mom push velo. Goes on sale as low as $240. Really nice to travel with. Fits on airplane cabins.
Yep. We even store ours in a carry bag and leave behind a car seat in our “spare car”. Folds super small. We usually just drive our big suv. The only downside on the velo is the terrible cup holder. I did design and 3d print a much better one that can hold an actual bottle.
I got a "mompush" brand compact stroller on Amazon and my daughter used it from 1-3 when we didn't want to take our super expensive rugged stroller out. It was PERFECT for the mall!! Def fits in most fitting rooms!
I got a $99 MomPush one on Amazon (during a sale). It starts as a bassinet then adjusts to a seat. Kept it pretty simple - it’s good for outdoor walks and I didn’t really care if it got dirty or a little banged up. The canopy is UPF 50, which was nice, and there’s a cold weather cover you too. The bassinet/seat detaches and it folds up well. No way was I going to spend more than $150-$175 on a stroller! Now that we’re about to have two we’re considering leveling up, but I really just don’t think it’s necessary to get something super fancy.
We went with Mompush and LOVE it. My friend's who have had babies after me have bought the same set up we did because it was so good. We got the Wiz from RebelStork and bought the Chicco infant seat adapter. The wiz goes into an actual bassinet mode and has a zip on cover. So now that it's cold I can shove a blanket down by his legs and he can't kick it off because it's under the cover. Also nice because when he needs a bottle I can keep him buckled in and flip the seat into bassinet mode and let him drink. We recently got their travel stroller, also through rebelstork, and it's super nice as well!
We have the mompush because we also didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg on a secondary travel stroller. Comes with lots of accessories and a snack tray. For the price, we’ve been impressed. “Best” travel stroller on the market? Probably not. But as far as quality, it’s a good bang for the buck without breaking the bank. I see it lasting a long time.
Travel stroller and the hiking stroller are different categories. Uppababy vista is solid for paved hikes . But not a great travel stroller, it’s huge. I have mompush and it is a great travel stroller but terrible everywhere but indoors and sidewalk .
I also have a MomPush for later down the line when I can’t use the infant car seat anymore. Beautiful stroller and easy to fold / store
