I second this. I’ve had mine going on one year now and I’ve had no issues.

The bassinets are only nice for a maybe the first couple months? 4 months at most in my experience but it will depend on your baby and lifestyle. My sister’s stroller doesn’t have a bassinet mode but instead lays flat and her daughter still took great stroller naps a few times a week. We had a Momcozy Wiz for the first 11 months and didn’t use the bassinet mode once he could hold his head up when buckled. We recently upgraded to a Joie Kava. The biggest downside for me is that there’s no way to face baby towards you but again that’s a nonissue after 4/5 months. You could also see what you could find on Facebook marketplace!

r/BabyBumpsHow did you figure out what car seat/stroller you wanted?

Did the mompush wiz 2 - I wanted something with a bassinet feature that wasn’t an add on. - I didn’t want gray or black. We have hot summers and that felt like it was going to get hotter - I wanted something light weight because of how short I am. - We needed it to fit my husband and my heights. I’m 5’1 and he’s 6’2 - worked from infant through toddler - was able to go off road on trails. Aka larger back tires than front Lots of TikTok’s and Google searches brought me to the mompush brand. I only found 2 negative reviews on the mompush wiz 2. It’s basically a knock off Nuna. We tried out the Nuna in the store and this is so similar to every aspect of it. The mompush brand is way less discussed, but I’m obsessed with it so far. I can’t wait to try it out when baby gets here.

I could not justify the Uppababy or Nuna price tags. I went with the MomPush Wiz from Amazon because it was cheap, looked nice, and had attachments for our car seat. I never saw it talked about in any forums but had good reviews on Amazon. You know what? It works really well for my needs. It’s light, had the bassinet for when the baby was a newborn, now the seat works well. I think I’m an outlier but I spent more money on a nice jogger (Thule urban glide during the Nordstrom sale) and bought the MomPush as our everyday use. It’s working great and I get compliments on it.

I got a Chico Bravo (used) with the plan to use it with the carseat. I also bought the caddy stroller (used) to use for in/out of the doctors office, store, etc. Then I realized my baby was so uncomfortable in the car seat especially before 12 weeks. I love to go on walks and hated putting her in the car seat. I then realized there is no bassinett attachment for the Chico Bravo or caddy. I would have never thought before actually having my baby that I would need this. I then bought a Mom Push Whiz (bought an open box on discount from Rebelstork) and used that but the Keyfit 35 carseat is not compatible (they do have an attachment for the Keyfit 30). Long story short I ended up with 3 strollers that I used at different times lol Now that she is 6 months we are back to using the Chico Bravo because we don't need the bassinet anymore. If I could do it all over, I probably would have just bought a more expensive stroller that does it all. The wheels on the Mom Push Whiz are way poorer quality than my Chico Bravo. I think I would look into UppaBaby or Mockingbird as much as it pains me to say it because I thought they were just trendy and overpriced.

Another vote for Mompush! I have the meteor 2 which in addition to the bassinet/stroller seat combo also works with my maxi cosi car seat. It’s sooo easy to open and close and very light.
