r/toddlersFor travel, would you get a stroller connector two connect two travel strollers or buy a new double stroller?

We went to Japan this summer. You’ll want the smallest, most foldable stroller you can find. In no way would I bring a double stroller to Japan. Swap between wearing one of the kids and the other in the tiny travel stroller as they will have to get out a lot for stairs etc. we used the munchkin one and it worked well.

We really like our Munchkin Sparrow Ultra. Collapses down very small so it can fit in a backpack, seat in front of you, or overhead bin. However it's basically a fancy, but durable, umbrella stroller so if you want more storage I'd go with another. It's comparatively very affordable though so if you're not concerned with underneath storage, of which there's little, I highly recommend it. It's perfect for places like hotels and airports.

We bought the Munchkin Sparrow for a trip to Lisbon and it was a lifesaver! It folded up so compactly it went in the overhead storage. It pops out to open so easily and folds incredibly well we were able to open and close it to use on public transportation. We bought a backpack stroller bag to carry it when my son wanted to walk since he was 2.5. He frequently had naps in it. Even this weekend we used it for a trip to the city and he napped in it and he's over 3!

I've never needed to fold my stroller on the T or bus. My larger one is a Mockingbird. It's OK. This is my smaller one and it folds small enough to fit in the lockers at the Aquarium and the Children's Museum: https://www.munchkin.com/sparrow-ultra-compact-stroller?Color=Black&utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=surfaces&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=17191377320&gbraid=0AAAAADeSJHiBYkGMrSp0B25K4evRPQcFp&gclid=CjwKCAiAzrbIBhA3EiwAUBaUdXQk_PiHsl2MpTaj1-9SMyig-jpzmApShSCg2FARGDqCJih0KX9nJxoCIa4QAvD_BwE

Have you looked at the Munchkin Sparrow? I used a friend’s very briefly. It rode well and folded easily (not one handed) and it’s really small when folded. I have the Yoyo Babyzen, and the Sparrow is definitely smaller. I like the bells and whistles on my Babyzen, but I also use it as my everyday stroller. Edit: The Babyzen is also not a one handed fold.

I love the Munchkin Sparrow!! It’s super compact and you can bring it as an overhead item on flights! No checking in = less risk of damaging!

We used this one - though at the time it was only $160 or so. I assume any stroller similar to this would work: [https://www.target.com/p/munchkin-sparrow-ultra-compact-travel-stroller-black/-/A-86874096](https://www.target.com/p/munchkin-sparrow-ultra-compact-travel-stroller-black/-/A-86874096)

Yes, so worth it to get one like the munchkin brand travel stroller. It folds up to fit in the overhead bin. Single best purchase we have made recently for traveling with our toddler! The other best purchase we made was travel magnatiles. They're pricey but worth it - however I think maybe a little old for your kiddo at this age. The other travel stroller we had when kiddo was smaller was the Doona which is a combo carseat/stroller.

I wanted a stroller that was a bassinet and regular seat (not an extra attachment for the bassinet cause I’m not storing extra crap) AND it had to be a reasonable price. I purchased the MomPush Meteor. Honestly I love it and feel like no one else mentions it on these post. It’s only $200 and it’s compatible with multiple infant car seats. We also have a Munchkin Sparrow that we use for travel and it stays in my car because it is so compact. Originally bought the sparrow for air travel only and ended up using it so much more.
