We went with nuna demi grow since we had the lightweight infant carrier from nuna. We didn't get the bassinet for the stroller and just used the infant carrier until they were old enough for the seat. It is large and heavy stroller through. For day to day look at a light stroller that is compatible with your infant carrier. [compatibility chart](https://www.babylist.com/hello-baby/car-seat-stroller-compatibility) That way you can actually use it for going into the many appointments you have early on.

I got the Nuna Demi grow 6 years ago with my first, I wasn’t sure I was going to have a second child, so I just got it with the one regular seat and with a Nuna Pippa car seat, and the bassinet. I did not use the bassinet at all, but just the car seat with the stroller and then with the stroller seat was amazing and the very best part of it was when I finally did have another kid I could put the larger kid on the bottom and keep the littlest kid on the top with no steering issues. Now my oldest is like six years old and my youngest is three and they both fit in there perfectly still, the older one on the bottom he just climbs himself right and it’s like his little cave. We took it to Disney world even! It is nice cuz it fits through doors just fine but is also not very long! Also both the top seat and the bottom seat hold up to 50 pounds each.

I bought a Nuna travel system with my first (4 years ago) and am using it again now. I have the Demi grow, which is no longer on the market. But I’ve really liked it. I believe it was replaced by the Mixx. It’s held up well, does decently on different terrains, comfortable to push, easy to fold, feels sturdy. It has the ability to be a double stroller and my tall four year old has climbed in. The only cons we’ve found over the years are: - seat is always slightly reclined which my very curious kid didn’t always love because it impacted his view. - taking the car seat off the stroller is a bit annoying because you have to press and hold buttons on either side of the car seat to lift it off.

Yes!! Love our Demi Grow (I wish the TRVL was more travel friendly and better rated by the Stroller Workshop), but it really is a MONSTER. …let’s be honest though. Being able to take ALL THE THINGS on the stroller is soooo nice

How big is your trunk? I have a small car and bulky stroller (nuna Demi grow, similar to the vista) and it takes up my entire trunk, especially when my son got older and needed the seat instead of the car seat attaching to it. We have a mini v2 now that we got for travel and use with our second kid, it’s so much more convenient. We never used a stroller bassinet for either kid, but some people swear by them. For the infant car seat the uppababy ones are known for being outgrown quickly, join a car seat safety group and they can give you recommendations for car seats that’ll fit your car. I personally bought a nuna before I learned about anything and I probably would have gone for a cheaper Graco now looking back. They use them for such a short time!

Good to know, I literally just saw a mockingbird in public and I was truthfully kinda jealous of the amount of cargo space even while carrying both children. My Nuna Demi Grow has 0 cargo space with 2 toddlers. But it has very respectable handling on bumps and such in my opinion. But maybe that's a biased opinion since I'm a bigger dude who is used to those absolutely junk cheaper toddler strollers from the 90s and early 2000s.

We have the Nuna Demi Grow I believe it's called. For infants it was absolutely amazing, it's stacked more vertically than horizontally so you can easily fit 2 infant carriers and have the same footprint as a singleton stroller. Nice and narrow for doorways, nice and short for navigating tightly packed stores. Now that our twins are getting into the toddler stage and have outgrown their infant carriers though the honeymoon phase is ending. When using it with 2 toddler seats you lose what little cargo space you might have had with the infant seats. So you have to either carry the diaper bag or use straps to hang it from the handle, leaving it hanging right over the head of the lower child. We also have the older version (Demi Grow vs Demi Next I believe it is) so the toddler seats are quite reclined even in their highest position. Which our twins are definitely not fans of, they're always pulling themselves up to lean forward for a better view. On the plus side it is light enough that might wife can easily manage it by herself when I'm not around. Also, like most decent twin strollers, it does fold down nice and small, but in order to fold it you have to remove the lower seat and put it aside somewhere as a second piece. Our kids are also at that awkward age where they're getting heavy, but also barely walking so you have to put them in their seat. Which is a real treat on that lower seat.

I have a Nuna Triv, and I'm so happy with it. You can steer it with one hand, it has actual wheels (not the plastic garbage), so it can handle a good bit of terrain. It folds easily and is lightweight, so its easy to get in and out of the car. Fits in the xray machine at US airports. I used the Nuna Pipa Rx, and was so thankful that it was only 6lbs - baby gets heavy very quickly! My son is 19 months old and I still love my stroller.

r/nycparentsEveryday stroller in the city for a newborn? Elevator building, occasional bus, subway and Uber rides

The suspension and maneuverability is amazing on city streets, but I do find it too large. There is no chance of me ever bringing it up subway stairs and I can’t imagine ever having it fit in a restaurant. We thought we’d need it for long walks and snow, but our Yoyo has been just fine. I wish I would have gotten the swiv, like our friends have. I specifically got the Pipa RX and not the Urbn because the baby weight capacity is more so, in theory, you can use it longer AND it’s cheaper. We didn’t anticipate our baby being tall though, so she’s going to outgrow it soon. I didn’t find the weight difference between RX and Urbn to be significant enough to pay more of the Urbn.

Oooh I didn’t know that about the Urbn. You can also use the RX without a base!

We just purchased a Nuna Swiv and Nuna Pipa RX! If you have time, wait and see if the new triv LX comes back in stock. I recommend to go to a Nordstrom or somewhere to try them in person
