"Also my turnoff with the strollers that transform From toddler seat to bassinet and arnt a separate attachment is the straps are in the bottom of the bassinet instead of a flat surface which seems uncomfortable ... I was interested in them until I realized that the straps from the toddler seats stay in the bottom of the bassinet when you transition it, which seems really uncomfortable for baby to me so I’d rather have a separate bassinet attachment at this point, if that makes sense."

"The Nuna Pipa Urbn is great but it is an infant seat that your baby could potentially be grown out of before they reach 6 months. ... my little one is 5 months and definitely doesn’t fit in it now so we’re having to get a convertible seat. ... It only goes up to 28lbs or 23 inches height (something along those lines), whichever comes first ... ultimately you’ll need a convertible seat at some point around 5-6 months, depending on how quickly your LO grows."

I live in the metro-suburban area of Philly where I’m close enough to the city (10-15min drive) but the stuff that’s walkable to in my area aren’t as nice as the city, so I got the nuna pipa urbn + Demi next bundle. I love it, it’s a travel stroller but their biggest one so it feels like a full size with lots of storage and can easy fold for travel. I love how the infant car seat attaches right into the stroller as well (especially during the colder season) plus I plan on ttc again 18m pp and this stroller converts from a single to a double, it also has a rider board included. The bigger wheels also give the smoothness you were looking for. All in all I really recommend this stroller. It’s a little pricey but I know I’ll get a lot of use out of it and will be able to use it for a long time, plus I feel like all the features are worth it

We went and trialed them. I really enjoyed the vista mobility compared to the nuna, it also felt more comfortable for him. They make bags that you could gate check the vista. The wheels come off really easily, if I was going to gate check it I would remove the wheels. We got a travel car seat and travel stroller separate from the ones we keep in the car. I wanted a light stroller I wouldn’t have to gate check and a light car seat to carry through the airport. The doona for us was extremely low, it seemed like it would be uncomfortable for long usage.

I was torn between your same options. I went w the nuna Demi next. I went in the store to try both and I like the nuna (how easy to close, to push it w one hand) the main attachment lay flat for newborn (so we didn’t get a basinet attachment). For travel consider a foldable stroller

I am down this deep dark rabbit hole currently. I was leaning uppa, but then I read their infant car seats have a bad “chin to chest” issue. You can get a nuna infant seat to fit the vista v2/v3 but then I’m like, why not just go all nuna at that point. So now I’m looking at the nuna Demi next stroller with the pipa aire infant seat and then when they grow out of that we’ll switch to a convertible car seats. I want the bassinet attachment also not just for walks but for traveling naps and if the bay falls asleep on our walks they can just keep sleeping in the bassinet but with the infant seat they can’t.

We have the Nuna Demi Grow I believe it's called. For infants it was absolutely amazing, it's stacked more vertically than horizontally so you can easily fit 2 infant carriers and have the same footprint as a singleton stroller. Nice and narrow for doorways, nice and short for navigating tightly packed stores. Now that our twins are getting into the toddler stage and have outgrown their infant carriers though the honeymoon phase is ending. When using it with 2 toddler seats you lose what little cargo space you might have had with the infant seats. So you have to either carry the diaper bag or use straps to hang it from the handle, leaving it hanging right over the head of the lower child. We also have the older version (Demi Grow vs Demi Next I believe it is) so the toddler seats are quite reclined even in their highest position. Which our twins are definitely not fans of, they're always pulling themselves up to lean forward for a better view. On the plus side it is light enough that might wife can easily manage it by herself when I'm not around. Also, like most decent twin strollers, it does fold down nice and small, but in order to fold it you have to remove the lower seat and put it aside somewhere as a second piece. Our kids are also at that awkward age where they're getting heavy, but also barely walking so you have to put them in their seat. Which is a real treat on that lower seat.

I got the nuna next travel system and I was not impressed for the price. Granted I have nothing to compare it to but I expected it to be lighter and easier to get in and out of the car :/. Quality is good but wish I’d gone with a different option.

Doona’a are very heavy. I recommended Nuna Urbn with Trvl stroller combo. Lightweight, safe and sturdy.

I don't get the UppaBaby hype. I think its an ugly stroller and you need a special pillow attachment just to use it for a young infant or the bassinet attachment, which all costs extra ontop of an already expensive stroller. The car seat is super heavy and not great either I hear. I did buy a similar top of the line/expensive travel system but loved it and thought it was well worth it. No need to spend extra for a infant pillow. It can be used from a newborn and the car seat is super nice and one of the lightest seats on the market. Highly recommend any of the Nuna travel systems. We had the Pipa and Mixx stroller.

I’m due in July and plan to travel and spend time in both urban and suburban environments. I also have a compact car. I got the Nuna TRVL lx and pipa urbn, both great for travel. The only considerations are that the stroller doesn’t have a bassinet attachment and a parent facing option. Not a huge deal for me initially but I had an insomnia / pre tariff price increase freak out purchase where I also ended up buying a full size stroller, Cybex Balios S Lux 2 Stroller + Cot S Lux 2 Bundle, from Albee baby which was heavily discounted because the color way was discontinued. So now I have two 😅 but no regrets!
