"I got the Nuna Mixx Next stroller, which is the tallest stroller available to try at our local retailer, and the only one tall enough for my 6'4" husband. ... One click down was tall enough for me at 5'10", which was about the same height as the tallest setting on the uppababy."
"We went with the Nuna because it was the only one tall enough for my 6'4" husband."

"I used it daily, every day to walk my 6 year old to and from the bus stop. As well as daily walks for over 3 years"
"It was instantly our favourite when we “test drove it” in store. ... really good wheels and suspension. ... We go for lots of trail walks and hikes, plus we live in a new subdivision with lots of construction and unfinished sidewalks/roads + the winter snow/salt. ... The wheels on the Nuna are not plastic, and feel much smoother and will hold up better than the less expensive contenders."
"I’ve checked my Mixx Next at least 40 times and it’s been fine. ... I’ve gate checked my mixx literally 40 times and it’s fine. ... they really are built like tanks. No sense in babying them."

"It came with a carseat adapter, so we could remove the stroller seat and just pop on the infant seat for quick grocery shopping or doctor office trips or any other quick trip where they didnt need to be in the carseat long."
"I have it and love that I can move it between cars"
"The car seat attaches to the stroller to face backwards. ... It clips into any vehicle, no base needed, can go in an Uber etc."

"The Nuna Pipa Urbn is great but it is an infant seat that your baby could potentially be grown out of before they reach 6 months. ... my little one is 5 months and definitely doesn’t fit in it now so we’re having to get a convertible seat. ... It only goes up to 28lbs or 23 inches height (something along those lines), whichever comes first ... ultimately you’ll need a convertible seat at some point around 5-6 months, depending on how quickly your LO grows."

"The Nuna was great if you're on a smooth sidewalk or something ... Joggers are just better with different terrain"
"not good on snow"
"The only thing that has stopped it is sand."
I got the Nuna pipa urbn & mixx next travel system.. my only regret is just buying the stroller itself and getting a rotating convertible car seat, I didn’t know you can put your infant in there.. I don’t ever use the infant car seat as a stroller because I hate having my baby in there.. so I transfer him all the time, which I have no problem with because it doesn’t wake my baby up if he’s sleeping..
r/BabyBumps • How did you choose a stroller and car seat? ->We have the Nuna Mixx travel system with the Pipa car seat and base and our 4 yo still fits fine in it. We're having a boy soon and will use the same system as it's still holding up very well after all this time. It's great quality. Pricey for sure but very well made. We bought it new for around 700usd (stroller + car seat + car seat base) during a Nordstrom black Friday Sale.
r/BabyBumps • Where to start with strollers and why is it so confusing! ->We got the nuna mixx next travel system with the adapter to put the buns pipa aire infant car seat on. Chose it because of the all terrain option and the fact it can lay flat and should last for quite a while. Easy to fold down and we’ve gone walking with it around the neighborhood with our dogs to get them used to it and it’s really smooth! Rolled over grass just fine too. We watched sooo many YouTube videos and such before we chose.
r/Buyingforbaby • What stroller should I get? ->Loved my Nuna Pipa and Nuna MIXX travel system. I really don't like jogging strollers and loved the ability to turn the seat towards us and take the seat off all together so it's just the frame to snap the car seat into.
r/beyondthebump • What is the best Stroller? ->We had a Nuna Pipa and Nuna Mixx and loved them.
r/Mommit • Help! Drowning in a Car Seat and Sea of Strollers - Need a Lightweight Safe Travel System for a Newborn that they can grow into. ->Yes it can fit in a sedan. The newer version of it is the Mixx Next and it's 6.5 inches shorter when folded than the original Mixx that I had.
r/Mommit • Help! Drowning in a Car Seat and Sea of Strollers - Need a Lightweight Safe Travel System for a Newborn that they can grow into. ->I don't get the UppaBaby hype. I think its an ugly stroller and you need a special pillow attachment just to use it for a young infant or the bassinet attachment, which all costs extra ontop of an already expensive stroller. The car seat is super heavy and not great either I hear. I did buy a similar top of the line/expensive travel system but loved it and thought it was well worth it. No need to spend extra for a infant pillow. It can be used from a newborn and the car seat is super nice and one of the lightest seats on the market. Highly recommend any of the Nuna travel systems. We had the Pipa and Mixx stroller.

r/Mommit • stroller recommendations ->Yes, the quality really is far better. >or the nuna(Doona?) with wheels to go directly from car to stroll. Doona. Which I think is a waste of money. Babies aren't supposed to stay in car seats that long. >Some strollers have dozens of interesting attachments that all cost an extra $50-100 or more a piece. My Nuna didn't have any extra attachments or need them. No attachments needed to use from birth. That sounds like the popular UppaBaby, which I personally have never seen the hype over. I think they're ugly and yes it's ridiculous how expensive all the attachments are. I bought my Nuna Mixx on sale for just over $1000. I used it daily, every day to walk my 6 year old to and from the bus stop. As well as daily walks for over 3 years, it had great suspension and a huge bottom for storage. It came with a carseat adapter, so we could remove the stroller seat and just pop on the infant seat for quick grocery shopping or doctor office trips or any other quick trip where they didnt need to be in the carseat long. When I was done with it I was able to quickly sell it and got $550 back. The infant seat was $450 and I sold it for $250 when done with it. It's one of the lightest carseats on the market, the dream drape feature made it worth every penny. I got a huge chunk of my money back. My kids have a 6 year gap between them. The Nuna Mixx I had with my almost 6 year old is still one of the top rated and most recommended strollers and so is the carseat. I'm a SAHM, I'm not rich. I 100% feel that they are completely worth it. It's one of the few things I think its worth splurging on. The money I got back after selling my Nuna stuff is more than most people even pay for their travel systems all together.
r/pregnant • What Travel Stroller system did you go with? ->I have a Nuna mixx. I got it used and bought a bassinet for it. Absolutely phenomenal when she was tiny. The bassinet was the greatest thing. Now I use an Ergo baby Metro plus travel stroller. We got it for our trip but I love it so much it's now my day to day stroller.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Overwhelmed - Stroller Recommendation [ON] ->I have the ergobaby Metro plus and I have completely stopped using my nuna. It's amazing. Folds up so compact, lays flat, sturdy. We took it to Ireland a few months ago and it was amazing for our trip. Only downside is that the basket is pretty small.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Travel stroller [on] ->As a note, I’ve checked my Mixx Next at least 40 times and it’s been fine. I’ve also taken the stroller on hiking trails. The only thing that has stopped it is sand.
r/Buyingforbaby • Do I really need a travel stroller? Or would you gate check your Nuna Mixx Next? ->I’ve gate checked my mixx literally 40 times and it’s fine. It’s also great to haul all of your airport crap. I travel extensively and the travel system comes with and it’s not an issue.
r/Buyingforbaby • Do I really need a travel stroller? Or would you gate check your Nuna Mixx Next? ->I’ve always gate-checked it folded up. I do use a bag when I check my car seat though.
r/Buyingforbaby • Do I really need a travel stroller? Or would you gate check your Nuna Mixx Next? ->Nuna Mixx Next. Has a Nuna car seat adapter for infants. (Don’t bother buying a bassinet, you’ll need it for like no time at all.) Holds kids up to 50lbs (we still use it occasionally and my son is 3). Folds up smaller than the Uppababy Vista. Cons: it’s heavy (almost 30 lbs) but I mean it’s a full size stroller. We have 7 stairs so we make it work. It also doesn’t convert for two kids like the Vista does, but we’re one and done so that works for us. It also doesn’t have a child cup or snack holder like the Vista does. BUT the suspension is killer, we love how small it folds up, and it’s held up great with pretty rough use for three years now.
r/AskChicago • Parents of Chicago - what strollers do you swear by for walking these bumpy sidewalks ? ->Hi! How are you liking it so far? I have a mixx too, and want to transition to a compact stroller. I like the nutmeg because it has a lever instead of those reclining strings I don't like. It seems pretty similar to the nuna trvl.
r/Buyingforbaby • Stroller recommendations ->Lots of great strollers out there for all budgets, but if you don't really have a budget id say look at Uppababy, Nuna, bugaboo, and Silver Cross for anything involving strollers/ carseats. The nuna pipa RX is very very popular and seems to rank as 1 of the best for various reasons. Theres a few of different Pipa versions though, so be sure to look at Nunas website to look at differences. Other popular infant carseats besides Nuna consist of models from Uppababy, Chicco, cybex. I won't go into all of them here. Your going to have to jump down the rabbit hole lol Strollers all come down to what exactly you want out of your stroller. What terrain your in, suspension, wheels, ease of use, and of course adjustable handle bar. Many of the top brands already have most of these things so it's kinda hard to mess up. The differences are there, but aren't super big. It all comes down to nitpicking with stroller A being slightly better in suspension (or whatever your looking at) than Stroller B. However stroller B has a bigger under basket than Stroller A, etc etc etc. Definitely look at those brands i listed for strollers if your budget isn't much of an issue, and start comparing some models they show on the websites. Personally though my top 3 picks i had in mind after doing all my research was between Nuna Mixx Next, Uppababy Cruz v2, and the Silver Cross Reef. We ended up choosing the Mixx Next since we already made the decision to choose the Pipa. Getting a nuna stroller seemed like a no brainer, and the suspension is probably the best overall against the competition, and i love the skydrape for the infant seat. Uppababy has a very strong solid steel frame (nunas seems flimsy but its not. Its simply the suspension doing its thing), a larger under basket than the Mixx next. Silver Cross strollers seem to be in a league of their own but they are VERY expensive, and the main reason I decided against choosing it. They are known for officially making the strollers/prams for the royal family. They got deep history and the strollers are known for being very high quality (hence the price). I never got to test 1 in person, but im sure it glides just as good as the Nuna and Uppababy.
r/Buyingforbaby • Best travel system for a baby? ->What you are planning and what your baby wants is completely different. We got the Nuna Mixx and it felt like a waste initially cause we were always pushing an empty stroller around with her worn on me. We live in a neighborhood with rough terrain so wanted one with big wheels and suspensions. At one year old she finally could sit for 10 minutes in the stroller without fussing. Then we caved and bought a second travel stroller because our primary one was heavy and massive and felt too big for trips to the mall/grocery. And proceeded to purchase a third Thule chariot for bike trips. It really depends on your lifestyle, but if your aren’t planning on daily long stroller walks, you could probably swing babywearing for the first couple of months.
r/NewParents • Strollers - what did you wish you knew before you bought? ->We have three. I know. \-Nuna Mixx next, my workhorse. Nice and compact. \-Thule urban glide. It’s giant but nice for trails, outdoors, etc. it’s supposed to last for when they’re older, too. \-Yo-yo zen travel stroller. Haven’t tried this one yet but will be testing it out for Xmas and a cruise. It’s supposed to fold up light on the airplane
r/beyondthebump • Convince me not to get a mockingbird stroller ->I’m seconding the Nuna Mixx with the Pipa Aire!
r/BabyBumps • Where to start with strollers and why is it so confusing! ->Can echo this having done both! We have the Nuna Mix and moved from a fully urban to a fully rural environment at 3 months old. In our city, it was fabulous for walks to the park grocery store, coffee shops, etc. We had bumpy sidewalks and even cobblestones in places there, and the stroller handled it like a champ. But now that we are rural and would have to out it in and out of the car, I've used it maybe 5 times total in a year? Just not necessary. I keep a small travel stroller in the trunk, and that's been great for small errands, etc.
r/NewParents • Product Regrets: 3mos in! ->We’re going with the Nuna Mixx next + pipa car seat. It was instantly our favourite when we “test drove it” in store. It doesn’t have capacity for a double but our priority was convertible for newborn + toddler (no bassinet but the toddler seat does lay completely flat for newborn), as well as really good wheels and suspension. We go for lots of trail walks and hikes, plus we live in a new subdivision with lots of construction and unfinished sidewalks/roads + the winter snow/salt. The wheels on the Nuna are not plastic, and feel much smoother and will hold up better than the less expensive contenders. The benefit we see in the Nuna is that it has a great resale value on Facebook in our area. We figured if we end up needing a double in the future, we can potentially sell this one and get a different one.
r/pregnant • please just tell me what stroller to get ->I originally bought the Nuna Tavo and I hated it. I ended up buying the Uppababy Cruz v2 and also hated that one lol. In the end, I bought the one I wanted all along but always thought was too expensive - the nuna mixx. I love the Mixx so if you have any questions, happy to answer them! I would get something that is: 1. Has the ability to be parent facing 2. Has a easy / not irritating fold 3. Can lie back all the way for a newborn 4. Fits in your trunk 5. Has a capsule adapter so if bub is sleeping, you can take off the seat and snap in the seat It’s worth it to buy the stroller that you want as you’ll use it a lot. I use my stroller everyday and don’t regret paying $865 with tax for my stroller.
r/NewParents • Strollers - what did you wish you knew before you bought? ->I also live in the suburbs of nyc and love the pipa rx. I got the mixx next for the flat recline feature and then never used it. Stroller is great but heavy to take in and out of the car for errands
r/Buyingforbaby • Nuna Travel System ->I have the Nuna mixx next and love it. It lives in my car bc my garage is full and I don’t want to bring it into the house all the time. I got it for the near lay flat recline for newborns which I never used. All walks were in the car seat attached to the stroller. But we didn’t so long walks due to the weather. We switched to the regular stroller seat and he’s been happy
r/Buyingforbaby • Stroller Help ->I have - a nuna mixx - yoyo baby zen - an even flow pivot explore - fb marketplace - and just for a bob jogger off fb marketplace for running her to school The zen we wanted for travel because lugging around strollers is shit. But that and the evenflow have zero suspension - nearly launched her out hitting an uneven sidewalk one day. The nuna has great suspension - it’s our daily driver. The bob however is also super awesome. I think looking back, I’d get the bob. There are attachments for car seats, tray tables, cup holder caddies for your stuff. I like it way better. I got one free off a mom group and that thing lasted multiple families for what seems like 10 years. The wheels are worn but easy to replace. They are solid pieces of equipment I would highly recommend a bob jogger. If you would have told me two years ago that I’d have four strollers I’d think you are crazy. We use the shit out of all of them though so 🤷🏻♀️
r/BuyItForLife • Stroller Recommendations ->We used our Nuna Mixx a bit but mostly just baby wore him in the hiking backpack. He was 2 then at Yellowstone.
r/yellowstone • Stroller in Yellowstone ->Live in downtown Manhattan. Travel almost every weekend by personal car, walk and subway everywhere, have flown four times already with one trip being international (8 Month old). Obsessed with our Nuna Mixx Next w Urbn Pipa car seat. Will get a side-by-side double for our second (likely bugaboo). Was told by my siblings who are parents of multiples to not be duped into Uppababy craze.
r/beyondthebump • Best stroller/travel system ->FTM and we went with the Nuna Mixx Next, bought it brand new as literally everything else for baby was second hand. I love it, we live in a city so it’s perfect for around town walking. Folding works for when we chuck it in the car. As my husband has mobility issues how it collapses was really important and I wanted one where the seat was either facing me or out. We used a Maxi cosi capsule that clicked right in with the included adapters. It’s a little heavy but I wanted something robust and I use it daily! Hindsight I kind of wish I would have looked at way more options but nevertheless I’m very happy with my decision.
r/NewParents • Strollers ->Yeah I mean it’s a little flimsy. I also have a nuna mixx so they’re just very different but it’s so convenient and easy to fold! And seems comfy!
r/Buyingforbaby • Stroller recommendations ->I got the Nuna Mixx Next stroller, which is the tallest stroller available to try at our local retailer, and the only one tall enough for my 6'4" husband. One click down was tall enough for me at 5'10", which was about the same height as the tallest setting on the uppababy. Since OP's husband is also tall, you may want to consider that. Another option would probably be doable, but the ergonomics was really important to us as tall folks. Edit: it also folds completely flat, so no need for a bassinet attachment for a newborn.
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->We tried them out in person, strongly recommend if you have a store close to you. We went with the Nuna because it was the only one tall enough for my 6'4" husband. The uppababy at its tallest height worked for me at 5'10". Neither needs a bassinet. Nuna lays completely flat as it is. And the uppababy has a relatively affordable insert that will make it flat for a newborn, I think it's $50-$75.
r/BabyBumps • Stuck between Nuna and Uppababy ->Just chiming in with one experience re: the Nuna Mixx We got the Mix stroller and Pipa car seat. They're nice and well made, but I could do it again I would go for something different. The mix is heavy, bulky, and doesn't fold/unfold easily. That's fine if you're only ever using it for around the neighborhood, but if you plan to bring your stroller in the car with you (or god forbid take it up and down stairs) it's a pain. We got a $250 target stroller we wound up using way more just because it's lighter and folds/unfolds more easily. The mix was at least nice for navigating uneven side walks in our neighborhood, but that benefit wasn't worth the price or bulk in my opinion. As for the "travel system", we put the car seat into the stroller... Once? Maybe? It was extremely rare that we needed that functionality, we would've been just fine taking the kids out of the car seat and putting them in the stroller for those few times we needed to do that. I *do*, however, recommend a car seat that is easily removable (with a base that stays in the car), part of the reason we barely put it on the stroller was because it was generally easier to just carry the car seat with baby into wherever we were going with us. Another option is rotating car seats, since our kid grew out of the Pipa (and became too heavy to carry in a car seat) we got one and love it. All in all, if I could do it again, I'd get a lighter weight, more easily folding stroller and a standalone removable car seat, and probably pay about half what we paid for the Nuna set - we've had great experiences with cheaper products, the are still very safe and reliable. Best of luck, and congratulations!
r/predaddit • Help! Drowning in a Car Seat and Sea of Strollers - Need a Lightweight Safe Travel System for a Newborn that they can grow into. ->Great gift idea however I would consent with the parents first since it’s an extremely personal item & parents put a lot of thought into what, how they want the stroller to be for their child’s utmost comfort and safety. That said, you are likely going to receive tons of random recommendations here to an already confused delima you may be going thru. To keep things simple, pick any that fits your budget from the Nuna range, personally I’d go with the Mixx Nxt, they are quite versatile, should last from new born till 2yrs. You’ve to also ensure the stroller fits in their car’s boot and both the parents are able fold, unfold and lift the stroller individually. If it works, I would instead offer a gift card for the Galleria Mall and let the parents pick one of their choice.
r/abudhabi • Best stroller recommendation as a gift for a friend’s newborn? ->Second the Triv. Tbh I don’t really see the point in having the MIXX maybe unless I didn’t have a car and lived on the first floor somewhere or had an elevator to a huge apartment. It’s big and heavy and I sure didn’t want to be lugging that in and out of our car. We have crappy sidewalks in our town and the triv is fine. If I’m going somewhere with terrain I’m going to baby-wear and not bother with the stroller. Someday we’ll probably get an umbrella stroller for airplane travel but it’s still not totally necessary.
r/Buyingforbaby • 2 Strollers?! ->I have the Nuna Tavo and Mixx. While the Tavo is not technically a “travel” stroller, the car seat clips in without an attachment. It’s definitely lighter than the Mixx but just as sturdy.
r/Buyingforbaby • Best lightweight stroller for Nuna pipa? ->Very happy with the Nuna Mixx with their infant car seat. Bassinet attachments not great with hills (or so we were told, we never got one but seems obvious once you think about it). I recommend going to Aldea on Valencia—the staff there are very knowledgeable including one woman who used to nanny so has lived with all the options. We like the Mixx because it’s got the stability of a bigger stroller but isn’t super long for tight turns at the grocery store or a bookstore. I wish it folded a touch smaller or flatter for car travel but it’s smaller than most the premium strollers people talk about. Saw the Joolz Aer+ recently and that looked cool but probably not as stable and less cargo room.
r/AskSF • Parents Question --Which Stroller to buy for SF living? ->Cybex and Nuna are better than Mockingbird as a general brand guideline. But it sounds like you want more of a travel or mid size stroller rather than a full sized one - full sized ones (like the Vista) are nice and typically have a lot of bonus features, better steering, etc, but they're pretty big and bulky and not super easy to take places. I personally have a full sized one for at home use walking the dog regularly, and then a smaller travel stroller for the car. If I was going somewhere that would be all day or tons of walking I'd bring the big one but for just a quick trip to the park it's not worth the hassle. So for travel strollers, I'd look at the uppababy minu v3 or the nuna trvl. Bugaboo butterfly is also solid but it's pricier. Those will all fold up easily and fit in the car pretty well. They do have lighter frames and aren't quite as sturdy or smooth of a push as a bigger stroller. Another option would be the uppababy Cruz or nuna mixx, which are in between the two. Not quite full sized so easier to travel with but not as compact as a full on travel stroller. It'll have a better push and be a little sturdier but without all of the bulk of a full sized. Bugaboo's version (again, very nice but pricey) is the dragonfly. I'm not as familiar with cybex's models but my stroller obsessed MIL likes them!
r/BabyBumps • What's the best stroller for me? ->I can’t speak to that specific Nuna model, but every Nuna product we’ve had has been an absolute luxurious dream compared to other brands. When sold our Nuna Mixx and bought a Vista, and honestly the vista is crap in comparison. Every single aspect of the Nuna is nicer. It’s easier to clean, easier to fold, easier to maneuver, seats are more comfortable for my kids, seats are longer and fit my kids longer, the recline functions are better, and the sun shades are much bigger. If Nuna had this option when my second was born; we would have bought it.
r/2under2 • Side by side double stroller recommendations ->We have a travel system but have never once used the Carseat on the stroller. We usually carry baby from car seat into the apartment if he’s asleep and he tends to stay asleep. I also don’t want baby in car seat longer than absolutely necessary due to the less than optimal position for the baby (risk of positional asphyxiation, especially when newborn). We have the Nuna Mixx stroller and absolutely love it. It has a much smaller turning radius than the Uppababy we found and the suspension keeps things smooth for baby. You can lie baby flat from newborn with the standard attachment but we got the bassinet part as it was just easier to pile blankets on during the fall. ETA: baby is 3 months and is going to outgrow the bassinet in the 2-3 weeks I think. So the bassinet is for a super short amount of time but I think worth it as it’s anything to make life easier in the crazy newborn days- faffing with strapping in a newborn was not something I could deal with mentally lol
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Go-to for Stroller system/travel system? [BC] ->i went to nordstrom and tested them all out. they had a lot of strollers on display. there's also a babylist showroom in beverly hills, so i popped in there to check out basically everything else. everyone i know RAVED about the uppababy vista, but i absolutely hated it when i tried it out in store (and i kept coming back to it and trying to "get it" and just couldn't!). everyone also told me how great the doona was, but i also hated that because it's super short and i'm tall. i ended up with nuna mixx next + nuna pipa carseat and have no complaints so far!
r/BabyBumps • How did you choose a stroller and car seat? ->Likewise, have traveled for a total of over 3 weeks since my baby was 5 months old. It’s a great travel system with the nuna urban and great standalone stroller
r/Buyingforbaby • Best reclining travel stroller? ->I also didn't like the Uppababy. The Nuna urbn and Pipa stroller were amazing for travel. Super light stroller and the car seat is easy to click into any car. If you travel at all or take Ubers that car seat is a huge time saver.
r/daddit • Wife is 15 weeks - went down a stroller rabbit hole… ->We use a Bugaboo Butterfly and Nuna Urban. Great for short walks and we took it on a 20 hour flight across the world. It's great if you have one kid and plan to travel. We might get more of an SUV stroller in the future when we need to take all the toys to the park. We also live in a small apartment so space matters.
r/Buyingforbaby • Anyone just have a travel stroller? ->Joolz aer 2 and Nuna pipa URBN are what I’m doing for my nyc baby. This combo is most versatile for travel etc.
r/Buyingforbaby • Need recommendations for infant car seat and stroller combos! ->I got the nuna next travel system and I was not impressed for the price. Granted I have nothing to compare it to but I expected it to be lighter and easier to get in and out of the car :/. Quality is good but wish I’d gone with a different option.
r/pregnant • What Travel Stroller system did you go with? ->We have one, the Nuna Pipa Urban Travel system. We've traveled across the country with it twice. It folds up at gate for gate check, no problem. It comes with the infant car seat. Our 7 month old is 19lbs and 24in tall and fits in it nicely still. The car seat attaches to the stroller to face backwards. It clips into any vehicle, no base needed, can go in an Uber etc. She's sitting well enough now that she can sit forward facing in the stroller, which adjust the back angle from all the way flat to fully upright. So, we don't need the car seat if we don't want to take it out of the car with us. We will use this stroller until she's 5+ or whenever she stops wanting to sit in it. It's durable, packable and idk why anyone overcomplicates their lives by getting multiple strollers.
r/NewParents • What kind of/how many strollers do people have? ->After lots of shopping around, we went with the Nuna PIPA urbn and Demi Next. Was able to try different combos (mainly UPPAbaby and Nuna) in our vehicles and really liked the one we chose.
r/Buyingforbaby • Best travel system for a baby? ->Doona’a are very heavy. I recommended Nuna Urbn with Trvl stroller combo. Lightweight, safe and sturdy.
r/BabyBumps • stroller + car seat recs? esp. Nuna or Doona - FTM feeling overwhelmed ->I’m due in July and plan to travel and spend time in both urban and suburban environments. I also have a compact car. I got the Nuna TRVL lx and pipa urbn, both great for travel. The only considerations are that the stroller doesn’t have a bassinet attachment and a parent facing option. Not a huge deal for me initially but I had an insomnia / pre tariff price increase freak out purchase where I also ended up buying a full size stroller, Cybex Balios S Lux 2 Stroller + Cot S Lux 2 Bundle, from Albee baby which was heavily discounted because the color way was discontinued. So now I have two 😅 but no regrets!
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->The Nuna Pipa Urbn is great but it is an infant seat that your baby could potentially be grown out of before they reach 6 months. I have it and love that I can move it between cars but my little one is 5 months and definitely doesn’t fit in it now so we’re having to get a convertible seat.
r/Buyingforbaby • Best travel system stroller/carseat ->It only goes up to 28lbs or 23 inches height (something along those lines), whichever comes first - it’s on the Nuna website. It’s handy for a while but ultimately you’ll need a convertible seat at some point around 5-6 months, depending on how quickly your LO grows.
r/Buyingforbaby • Best travel system stroller/carseat ->just spent a month researching. my takeaway: Nuna - loved this one the most (mixx or trvl xl) but all of the carseats/accesories make it extra pricey. my fav uber premium option uppababy- i found these all to be kind of rigid and too large. didn't like the vibe but its obvs popular mockingbird - decided on this one and so far love the balance of quality and price point. truly feels strong but also premium, while not being huge, and almost all the features feel obvious instead of buried silver cross - if you really want to go with the most premium it is indeed very nice. graco Modes nest - solid budget option. felt a little on the light/fragile side for me but if lightweight with versatility is important, this one isn't bad at all bugaboo - maybe the one i tried was a janky floor model but i didn't think it was smooth at all. nuna/mock crushed it
r/beyondthebump • Best stroller/travel system ->I got the Burley Honey Bee for running! It’s been great, and we can attach it to the bike. It doesn’t have a hand break, but I haven’t needed one. Baby does have to meet size minimums to use it, but it by far gets more use than any other stroller I’ve had. For family outings I love my Nuna! I was cheap and started with a Baby Trend Travel System and the stroller broke before I had my second, the car seat started deteriorating with my first and broke with my second:/ whatever you do I wouldn’t cheap out, you’ll pay more in the long run.
r/BabyBumps • How did you choose a stroller and car seat? ->We had a Nuna that was good, but then I rented a Bob jogger on vacation and fell in love with it. I ended up buying a Thule Jogger which is going strong with kid number 2, but the Bob is a great choice too. Joggers are just better with different terrain, hop curbs easy, and are simple. The Nuna was great if you're on a smooth sidewalk or something and had too many plastic parts
r/BuyItForLife • Stroller Recommendations ->I love our city stroller by baby jogger. I’ve got the single and the double. I’ve had about 3 prams including the nuna which is great but bulky and not as easy to fold and put in the car
r/2under2 • Side by side double stroller recommendations ->Thanks, I’m leaning towards Hub 2 or Aer+. With Hub 2 - does the clek liing car seat fit securely in the adapter/stroller? And is the handlebar wobbly at all? I can’t seem to find a place that I can see in person - sorry for all the questions! I tried the nuna strollers at nordstrom and the handlebars kept making clicky sounds and were wobbly.
r/BabyBumps • stroller + car seat recs? esp. Nuna or Doona - FTM feeling overwhelmed ->If you're contemplating used check out goodbuygear. I loved the Nuna and it was worlds above our cheaper travel stroller.
r/daddit • Wife is 15 weeks - went down a stroller rabbit hole… ->It is extremely sturdy with a metal frame, but lightweight and easy to push. Like, it glides so smooth haha. It’s also the only one I found that had a true one hand open/close. Also had the biggest basket. I have taken it on many airplanes and I even pushed it down the airplane aisle and it fit perfect. Some of the other travel strollers mentioned are okay, but seemed so cheaply made compared to the bugaboo. The Nuna travel stroller was nice too, but you had to use two hands because of this little latch.
r/NewParents • What's the best stroller you've used? ->I have the twin v2 and it is soooo junky. Flimsy basket, threads pulled right out of the box, hard af to push in a parking lot. It’s ridiculous that everyone recommends all terrain wheels for me to push that stroller in parking lot. I’m selling my v2 and getting the Nuna. I have a single Nuna and I love that thing. I wouldn’t waste my time with Zoe again.
r/2under2 • Side by side double stroller recommendations ->I have the uppababy Cruz. I love it. I have a lab and haven't had any issues walking her with it. fwiw, I use a waist belt leash. We do city walking, dirt path walking, and I easily run errands with it. I tried the Nuna strollers. Couldn't figure out how to fold them easily. Uppababy also has excellent customer service and warranties. I had to use a warranty on another product and they were quick about confirming coverage and sending a replacement (though it took longer to get here than I'd have liked). I would consider getting one secondhand. I found so many on FB marketplace for $200-300. UB often sells spare parts, so you can fix most issues (scuffed bars, wheels, etc.).
r/BabyBumps • Overwhelmed by stroller options ->Guhhh i wish i saw this before getting the nuna travel stroller. I got sucked into the hype and spent $550 😞
r/Buyingforbaby • Stroller recommendations ->I'm in exactly the same dilemma and debating between the same two models! I like the feel and quality and sturdiness of the nuna, esp the carrycot (which we'd probably buy second hand with either modell. Nuna was my original 1st choice, but now debating on the joolz aer 2, which is significantly lighter, and also has a bigger carry basket. For travel and getting around I think that lighter weight could probably make a huge difference in London, esp since we live in a third floor flat and don't own a car.
r/NewParents • Stroller Overwhelm - Joolz Aer 2 & Nuna Triv Next ->Yeah, I don’t think anyone would consider the Uppababy vista as a travel stroller. It’s considered a full-size stroller. I have the babyzen yoyo and we got that as. Travel stroller because it’s super light and fits in the airplane cabin. I have a Nuna that’s similar in size to the Uppababy and it takes up half my trunk
r/BabyBumps • The 25 most recommend travel strollers according to Reddit (in the past year as of Jul 2025) ->Evenflo is easy, and light weight Doona is a great first start (ftm here and we have this and I love it) Nuna-also light weight and I think some models have no base required but the stroller base is heavy/larger We use doona for short trips to Dr or target and use a cyber something light weight fold up 10 lb stroller for longer walks etc. this alows us to keep the actual doona car seat in good shape.
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->FTM went through so many strollers. We have 1 baby and will have a 2nd about 1.5-2 years apart. Live in the city but also have a car and use it often, major walkers and also loads of snow. Had the graco and evenflo (doubles strollers for a 2nd future baby). Threw these out (sold one and one is at grandmas). I couldn’t put them in the car (I could but the hassle and time it would, was too long). Had to put the chair part from the frame to put in the car as it’s not a 1 fold. We live in a city and car theif is super high in public, malls, i wasn’t taking a chance with Lo locked in the car while in taking 2 mins to fold and put the stroller away. Anyways, for everyday strollers (errands in car) Nuna travel, one hand fold, automatic, good sunshade, very easy to put in the car and unfold with one hand. I don’t use this for long walks though, but errands in the city, malls, daycare etc. not good on snow but inbetween. The yoyo one I believe was the next best one. I wouldn’t use these on on baby under 9 months though since they are not parent facing. Maxi corsi Stella i think, great suspension, horrible handle, lift, still big, heavy. Overall win: for walking, errands by foot, longgg walks, bad weather, can go car friendly but still big for my taste. But it’s infant to toddler friendly, comes with a bassinet, chair, can add 2 kids or just 1 with bassinet to seat depending on model, love their sun shades, handle is comfortable. We got the Uppababy cruz better for the city less wide than the vista. cruz can hold only 1 child but comes with a stand board, forward and rear facing.. snack tray is good. I love this stroller for everyday. Comes with a car seat which is totally comfortable for Lo and easily detachable to my frame to base. We bought it used on FB as I didn’t understand the Uppababy hype.. but I wish I got this one for my first. Also customer service is great with their questions. For strong winters (we have snow and low as -20 but we don’t go outside but for snow air filled tires are best) we got a bob for jogging with ours now, and it’s been great but it’s for camping, jogging, winter times outside. Huge though but if you go outside for winter often air filled tires are the best.
r/Mommit • stroller recommendations ->The vista and the Cruz are not travel strollers. If you looking for something easy to get in and out of cars, there are better options (nuna travel, triv are super easy with the car seat). If you’re looking for an everyday stroller to get around the city, the vista and Cruz are probably fine!
r/nycparents • Best stroller/travel system ->Honestly, the travel stroller version was too light with Nuna (just my opinion) so the step up with the Triv model seems to fit all our needs, so only one and done! Guessing it also maybe depends on your lifestyle...?
r/Buyingforbaby • Anyone just have a travel stroller? ->I worked at a baby store in college so I used to sell strollers to all types of people. I’m also a FTM and recently purchased one for myself. I will say that it’s an extremely personal choice - what works for you and yours may not work for me. For example, I live in a city with rough brick sidewalks - so good wheels and suspension were important to us. We also haven’t met our baby yet and don’t know what their temperament will be, so shelling out $800+ for a stroller seems risky. I have plenty of friends/family who have expensive strollers collecting dust in their cars/basements. We looked at the UppaBaby, Nuna, and a lot of the other popular systems on the market and decided they wouldn’t work for us. We loathed the Doona (my husband is 6’5) and weren’t overly impressed with the Graco / Chiccos we saw at Target. We found a boxed and brand new Baby Jogger City Mini at a discount store and bought it for a great price. My husband is obsessed with it already. It’s a brand I used to sling at the store and it’s very functional / in line with what we were looking for. I suggest testing out as many as possible, if you can. There aren’t many baby stores left, but Nordstrom has some on display. Rei might as well. Target as a few. Unsure about Walmart. And I think talking to parents who are out and about when you see them pushing strollers can be helpful. But default on your own judgement and prioritize your needs. Also, if your baby is going to be born in colder months, or if you’re not ready to commit to a brand/type, you may want to hold off or just get a snap n go system.
r/BabyBumps • Confused by strollers, what do you recommend? ->I’m a nanny who’s used many strollers, and the Joolz Aer is my favorite! I think you really need a one hand fold and a shoulder strap for the subway. I have the nuna travel for my son, which is a close second. You’ll see a ton of yo-yos, but I find them hard to fold up.
r/nycparents • Is Joolz stroller good for nyc? ->We have a vista and a travel stroller (Nuna bc our infant car seat fits on it without an adapter), and use each daily, just for different purposes like you said. Vista is for walks around the neighborhood to get baby/toddler to sleep and for walking to the grocery store, long days out, and road trips when baby was little and could sleep in the basinet attachment. It’s definitely clunky, but really meets a need for us. Also, we just had our second so it’s a double stroller! Travel is for everyday, quick grocery trips, trips to the zoo that will be only a few hours (but if going for the full day, would swap), going wherever where it’s helpful to have a single hand fold and toss it in the trunk feature.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Moms, what attracted you to buy that stroller? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
