I’m in the same boat!! I just went to look at some today. My brother is giving us their lightly used Graco car seat with a basic click in stroller for quick newborn outings, so I feel better splurging on a nicer stroller for long term as long as it will be versatile. We don’t have a garage or anywhere to store it in our house so I want something that folds very compact. I also want it to have parent facing and world facing options, which limits a lot of the smaller travel type strollers. I’m looking at the Nuna Triv, Nuna Swiv, and Joolz Hub 2 primarily. I was able to go look at the Nunas today along with the Maxi Cosi Tayla, Uppababy Cruz, and Cybex Balios/Melos. They had bugaboo there too but those are more than I’m wanting to spend and the Fox is bigger than I’m wanting anyway. The Nunas weight, folding mechanism, and folded size were FAR superior than any others and I am heavily leaning that direction. It was just so smooth and easy and compact on both of them. The Mixx was gigantic to me and the folded package was cumbersome to deal with. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find anywhere with Joolz Hub2, but it looks very similar to the Triv and reviews say it’s more durable. The Swiv was ever so slightly bigger than the Triv but felt a little sturdier and less like a travel stroller, and I don’t feel like the extra 1-2 lbs was that big of a deal compared to the trade off you get for more storage basket space and what feels like more durability. However the Triv has more suspension and better wheels for all terrain, so I’m torn on that. The only hesitation I have with Nuna is the way the lady at the store talked about them. She said she herself would never buy one because they aren’t made as well as others of the same price point and the warranty is crap (2 years but limited to things that probably wouldn’t break anyway). She was really pushing the Cybex models but they just didn’t have the same smooth and compact fold and I didn’t like the buckles and seat material as much as the Nunas (the magnetic buckle was awesome). The Joolz Hub2 has a 10 year warranty and it has a toddler ride on board you can attach later on which makes it more versatile than the Nunas in my eyes. Not looking to get a double but having a little bit of flexibility with another kid when making such an expensive purchase feels nice. I just wish I could get my hands on it to compare! I’m almost leaning Joolz just due to the warranty and supposed durability. There’s just not as much info out there about them from people who have bought them. I went to Nordstrom, a local baby store, and Pottery Barn kids, which could be an option where you live! I’m also looking into the bassinet options with the Nuna and Joolz and that’s getting me stuck (nuna is expensive and Joolz doesn’t have a stand to use at home) so I might just opt out of using these strollers with a tiny newborn and just baby wear/use the car seat click on stroller when needed. I think past 4-6 months old these will have a lot of longevity so trying to think long term and not get a bunch of accessories I don’t need. Sorry for the info dump but tried to be detailed since you can’t see them in person!
r/BabyBumps • Overwhelmed by stroller options ->We are big nuna fans—we have the pipa + TRVL. We also have a used uppababy vista that we love! I would personally recommend the TRVL over the TAVO because it’s lighter weight (I believe 13 lbs for TRVL vs 23 lbs for TAVO) and the fold is so, so easy on the TRVL, BUT I also don’t like having my baby in the car seat all the time and that’s the only way to use a TRVL until 6ish months! I really wish the TRVL came with a bassinet or a full recline.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Nuna tavo + pipa urbn travel system or the chicco corso primo cleartex system? ->Is your lab a good walker? Mine is NOT. He’s reactive af. I love my Nuna triv stroller and Nuna Pipa car seat so much, but for walking my lab, hell no. I really don’t walk him and my children solo because he’s too hard to manage, but I’d get a jogging stroller if I did. I walked him and my 3yo recently and it was really hard to steer my triv one handed and the wheels would kind of catch trying to get it back on course. It’s not the best for uneven terrain
r/BabyBumps • Overwhelmed by stroller options ->I had someone recommend 2 strollers and I thought they were out of their mind. I fought it and got the Nuna trvl and Pipa. I loved it. However, baby LOVED going on long walks. Not necessarily great in the Nuna combo, but now I know the new version (lx) flat. I still debate though because it’s not as smooth as a ride and truly designed for quick errands and airport travel (which it works great for). So at about 2 months I started looking for a bigger stroller because of the long walks. I went with the Cruz V2 and got the car seat attachment (through Nuna - NOT UB) for it. I thought, “wtf am I doing?! This is ridiculous!! I hate that I’m spending this money on this if we don’t use it that often.” This sucker is now my everyday. I really only use the Nuna when we travel for the weekends because we need more trunk space or airport travel. The UB is way sturdier, handles more of my day-to-day bs (I’m rough with stuff), steers nicely, isn’t too heavy (but does take up a considerable amount of space & some airlines do not allow you to gate check it), and the basket is FREAKING GREAT. I’ve really put it to the test with weight capacity. Moral of the story: my friend was right. If you can afford it, go for 2. One light for travel and one for everyday use. As for the car seat, having a true infant one has been great so I don’t wake up my LO when napping. For the most part, we don’t stop our days for napping. The LO is either strapped to us or in the car seat if we’re on the go. The infant seat allows our LO to continue sleeping without being disturbed. With that said, the LO is now getting heavier (7 months) and we just bought the chicco 360 zip. We’re excited to use it come August, maybe? I’m literally waiting until she reaches the height/weight limit of the Nuna Pipa before switching. That’s how much we like the convenience of the infant seat. Chicco usually has 20% off sales. I think they’re having one now for Father’s Day.
r/Buyingforbaby • Help! Drowning in a Car Seat and Sea of Strollers - Need a Lightweight Safe Travel System for a Newborn that they can grow into. ->I LOVE my UB Cruz. I also have the Nuna Trvl, but honestly love the UB more because it handles more of my roughness very well. The Trvl is nice for quick trips or actually traveling. There is a Nuna Triv that’s half Mixx and half Trvl. It’s got the bigger wheels but a strap to swing over your shoulder. Might be better for the stairs.
r/Buyingforbaby • Stroller Help ->The Triv is amazing, works in every setting, and it’s perfect for NYC
r/Buyingforbaby • Looking at all the stroller choices is making me want to pull my hair out! ->I tried them both in person and decided on the Nuna Triv Next. It was lighter, easier to manage, less bulky, one handed fold, able to gate check. We are also using the bassinet - the Uppababy bassinet was trickier for me and less intuitive and the stand showed scuffs easier. My partner really liked the storage under the Nuna Lytl bassinet
r/BabyBumps • Stuck between Nuna and Uppababy ->I will sing the praises of the nuna triv next from the rooftops. I love that thing. We had an uppababy vista because we were planning for 2 under 2 and sold it a month after baby was here. Baby hated it, we hated it, it was clunky and bulky and not at all suited for our lifestyle. The nuna triv next has been amazing. We use it almost every day.
r/Buyingforbaby • Looking at all the stroller choices is making me want to pull my hair out! ->We use a Nuna Triv Next. It checked all of our boxes as our single stroller… it’s pretty small and light!
r/BabyBumps • Is it possible to have just one stroller?? ->I debated all of these and ultimately decided on the Nuna Triv due to the safety of the carseats that were compatible and the weight being easier to load in and out of a car. I live a suburban lifestyle in and out of cars a lot so that was most important to me. As an NYC resident, you might not need it to be so light as you're not hauling it in and out of cars as much. My cousin lives in NYC and swears by her Uppababy Vista being great for the ease of the ride and navigating the streets there. (Cruz would probably fare similarly!) I know there's a Bambi Baby store in Jersey that carries all the luxury brand strollers where you can try things out!
r/Buyingforbaby • Looking at all the stroller choices is making me want to pull my hair out! ->Update! For anyone interested, I decided to go with the Nuna Triv for these reasons: 1. lightweight and easy to deal with getting in and out of my car 2. compatibility with the pipa aire rx carseat which was my number one choice carseat (due to safety and weight) 3. push feel and easy of breaking down/setting up 4. there's also a bassinet attachment I can get (granted all of these are pricey so I'm looking for this on FB marketplace) Baby is due in November and I'll update on how we are faring soon after that!
r/BabyBumps • What's the best stroller for me? ->I just bought the Minu v3 today!! The local baby store had literally just gotten it in. We currently have the Nuna triv and wanted a travel stroller to keep in the car. I brought my 13 mo son and tried out the bugaboo, joolz and the minu V3. The minu was the best one out of all three. Easiest to fold up, has a flap on top to be able to see down to the baby, and easiest capability to expand the seat up/down. it was super helpful testing them out right beside each other!
r/beyondthebump • Uppababy Minu v3 Travel Stroller ->NYC walk up resident here. If you plan on taking any public transit at all with the stroller you’ll need something light. I have the 2nd smallest nuna (Triv) and honestly still struggle with stairs when alone. If stairs and transit are not part of your day, or your city actually has transit that’s accessible, you’re fine going heavier. You may also consider 2 strollers. One full size and one travel. Consider second hand as well for whichever you’ll use less.
r/beyondthebump • Best stroller/travel system ->Are there any stores you can visit to try out strollers? It really does help to zip around with them in person. I have a Nuna Triv Next and I love it. I live on a second floor, accessed by stairs. This stroller rides smoothly and is lightweight, folds flat by simply lifting the handle (no buttons or levers), and is easy to push. I have taken it through winter snow and over bumpy ice without problem. I live in a metropolitan city and the stroller can definitely handle janky sidewalks and squeezing past people in narrow spots. There is a bassinet attachment, but in Canada (where I live) it's not available for sale. You can skip that by using a Nuna car seat as the seat until the child can sit up and use the regular stroller seat. Any Nuna Pipa car seat will fit it, and you don't need to buy any extra attachment for it.
r/Buyingforbaby • Strollers...Help ->My baby is 2 months old and we got him a Nuna Triv next stroller and pipa car seat. So far, son enjoys both. The model is easy to fold, basically with one hand, but it’s not that lightweight in case you plan to carry it daily. We live on the third floor, so I keep them in a car and when we start/finish with walk, I need to place my baby in a carseat inside the car, fold the stroller, put it in a trunk and then take the baby from the carseat so not the most conenient nor easy to do it daily.
r/NewParents • Difference between a “ travel” stroller/car seat and a regular? Make it make sense. ->I also live on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator in my building. For me, the MOST important thing about our stroller has been it being lightweight and if I had to go back in time and buy it again that would be my number 1 priority. If you don't have an elevator, I would suggest you narrow stroller options to a list of the top 5 lightest options you can afford and go from there. We got a Nuna Triv Next (on the pricier side, a family member gave us money specifically for a travel system) as it is lightweight but there are even more lightweight ones which I would consider if I were going back in time. Once you've narrowed them down to lightweight options which are affordable for you, then compare them based on what else is important to you. With the stairs and no elevator, I would say next important is how easily it folds and whether/how easily you can carry baby in part of it up the stairs whilst carrying the other part. For us, the bassinet part of the Nuna clicks out easily and I can then fold down the wheel section very easily and have worked out how to carry both at once. This is where something like the Yo-yo or Joolz Aer+ would be even lighter and easier. I think Joolz Aer+ even has a special shoulder strap for carrying! Then I'd consider things like - what sort of surfaces will you be using it on (eg off-road, bumpy pavements/sidewalks etc Vs smooth surfaces and shopping malls) - some of the very lightweight prams have wheels with less good suspension. For us that's what swayed us to the Nuna Vs Yo-yo or Joolz Aer - although they were lighter, we wanted wheels that could cope with city centre but also off road for when we escaped into the countryside. - storage: do you need to be able to fold it all down and store in a very small space in your home? Or do you have space for it to stay up? Etc. if you need it to fold right down the Yo-yo would be a good option as it can fold WITH THE BASSINET ON IT! - longevity: how long you want to be able to use it for. Do you need it from Newborn? (you'll need either a bassinet attachment or the seat will need to recline to fully flat) Are you planning to have multiple children with a small age gap and therefore it is worth getting a stroller which has the ability to turn into a 2-seater in the future? - other lifestyle things such as will you be flying a lot and want something that can go in and overhead locker? (Very few options out there so if this is important to you, this will narrow down the field significantly.) Again Yo-yo can do this. But start with looking for the lightweight options and go from there :) Hope this helps! Edited to change "lift" to "elevator" for clarity in the post (I'm from the UK and default to saying "lift"!)
r/NewParents • Stroller Recommendations ->I have a Nuna Triv, and I'm so happy with it. You can steer it with one hand, it has actual wheels (not the plastic garbage), so it can handle a good bit of terrain. It folds easily and is lightweight, so its easy to get in and out of the car. Fits in the xray machine at US airports. I used the Nuna Pipa Rx, and was so thankful that it was only 6lbs - baby gets heavy very quickly! My son is 19 months old and I still love my stroller.
r/pregnant • What Travel Stroller system did you go with? ->Nuna triv. Don’t think twice about it. Will last you a long time. You can get a car seat and bassinet attachment to go with it. We love ours.
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->I’ve been using the TRIV for 2 years. Love it. If I was to do it all over again I would still get the TRIV. Not sure why anyone would say it’s flimsy for neighborhood walks. Unless you live in a rural community with no sidewalks. The only time I had an issue was using it on cobblestone. My son was always on the small side (25th percentile) and we were able to use the TRIV seat at four months.
r/BabyBumps • Stroller recommendations for our lifestyle? ->These comments made me like my Nuna Triv even more! Also have a yoyo for air travels😅
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Prams - did you regret getting a larger, heavy pram for your first baby? ->We really like our Nuna Pipa car seat either Triv Next stroller. Of all the combos, the Triv Next seemed like the best balance of being lightweight/compact with a one hand fold, modular including bassinet option and world/parent facing, and being general full featured. The main features it doesn’t have a fully flat recline (which can be solved by using the infant car seat or bassinet option), and it can’t convert to be a double stroller (which we decided we’d rather buy a new double stroller that works best for us whenever that time comes).
r/Buyingforbaby • Nuna Travel System ->I highly recommend going to a baby store and test them out. There are a ton of factors that I never even thought about that influenced which setup I went with and having knowledgeable staff to help direct the conversation was huge. Stuff like having a parent facing option vs just world facing, how big it is folded (ex if it fits in your trunk), if you need to carry it up stairs, if you need it to convert to a double stroller some day, etc. I originally thought I could get away with a compact stroller but ended up going with the TRIV next with pipa air and bassinet. If you're in or near NYC, I highly recommend going to albee Baby on the upper west side (I believe Neiman Marcus also has displays though). The staff were super knowledgeable. Even if you don't buy it there they'll help you decide, but if you do buy it there they give you 20% off (as opposed to on the website where you get points for a future purchase equivalent to 20% off). Another alternative is to ask chat gpt... Lol
r/predaddit • Help! Drowning in a Car Seat and Sea of Strollers - Need a Lightweight Safe Travel System for a Newborn that they can grow into. ->I think the challenging thing I’m seeing here is that you don’t plan on using an infant bucket seat - I had a similar wish list, and in my research there weren’t many travel strollers that were “newborn ready” without a bucket seat or bassinet attachment. All options that I found required some head control (about 4 months old minimum) before you could safely use the seat. I think maybe the new Nuna Trvl LX miiight be newborn ready? The bugaboo butterfly was awesome but technically not newborn safe (though there are hacks…which I was not willing to do with my newborn haha). We went with the Nuna triv next for the one hand, compact fold. We did end up going with a bucket seat instead of straight to convertible for convenience, but it had an option for the bassinet attachment as an alternative. We are in the northeast and used it in the winter without issue. We love it so far…but we really could only switch to the regular seat (even fully reclined) when she was 4.5 months old.
r/Buyingforbaby • Stroller help ->Nuna Triv meets all of your requirements! It’s a little more than a travel stroller but so easy to get in and out of the car. It takes up such a small amount of trunk space - we love it so far as our one and done! It also has the option for a bassinet attachment and the seat goes forward or parent facing. We are planning to fly soon and will just gate check it with a bag. We are similar - not a lot of international travel planned, so it was more important for me to have a little more space & options.
r/Buyingforbaby • Mid-size or travel stroller for "one and done"? ->I honestly don’t think any of these are great strollers until baby has outgrown the infant car seat. With the Triv and Minu the stroller seat needs to be removed to have the car seat adapters attached so you can basically only use one or the other and not switch them out easily. I would find that really annoying. The car seat can attach onto the Trvl easily without the stroller seat removed, but the seat is only forward facing, but that might not be a big deal to you! I personally think the Uppababy Cruz would be a better option, but it is slightly bigger than all of these options. I can elaborate why if you’re interested though! Hope this helps!
r/Buyingforbaby • Nuna Travel Lx vs. Nuna Triv vs. Uppababy Minu V2 ->Following because I’m searching also and have narrowed it down to the Nuna Triv Next and Bugaboo Dragonfly. I was just in trying them out today, what I like about the nuna triv next: can fold easily and pop up easily, (I have a disability which makes bending difficult and will be more difficult following a c-section, I cannot lift anything very heavy and I can lift nothing from the floor) The Nuna Triv Next has a nice pop out cover for the bassinet etc. Great ventilation Slightly lighter and the frame could be carried on your shoulder without the seat or car seat. What I don’t like: the bassinet does not fold on the frame. What I like about the Bugaboo dragonfly: Super simple to fold and pop up, The bag organiser on the basket that comes with it is super handy The bugaboo can be folded really flat with the bassinet attached It stands up on its own folded without falling over The bugaboo has a long handle that I don’t need to bend to use and it can be wheeled while folded like a suitcase or trolley so handy for moving it while folded and space saving. The bugaboo feels sturdier than the Nuna The Nuna has far superior air ventilation if you live in a hot country it would be better. Both are brilliant and the only ones that I can use unaided. What I don’t like about the Bugaboo is: They only give one hood for both the bassinet and stroller which for the money I feel is quite miserable of them. Takes a little more practice to get the hang of the fold but once you have it it’s so simple. The bugaboo while flatter than the triv next folded is taller folded than the triv. The bugaboo has a bigger basket underneath. Both the triv next and dragonfly take cybex and maxi cosi car seats on the adapters that come with them. I can’t decide which car seat to go with them and I’m leaning more towards the dragonfly as it’s easier for me to use unaided with my disability. But genuinely I love both of them. I want a reclining car seat and I’m stuck between the Cybex Cloud T and the Maxi Cosi 360 pebble pro. The cybex reclines better but the maxi cosi 360 pebble pro has the slide out feature.
r/Buyingforbaby • Nuna Travel Lx vs. Nuna Triv vs. Uppababy Minu V2 ->We have the Uppababy Vista, Bugaboo Butterfly, and Nuna Triv. The Triv was purchased after we found out our baby wasn’t ready for the Butterfly yet, he would always cry after like 30 minutes in it as I think he was overwhelmed and wanted to be parent-facing. The butterfly says it’s for 6+ months, but from what I’ve read many babies aren’t ready to be world-facing yet at that age. So we got the Triv as it has a reversible seat and is still fairly compact. The Vista is just big and heavy to be lifting in and out of the car imo, but it’s definitely the smoothest and nicest ride for both of us. We used the Vista mainly for long neighborhood walks and we have been using the toddler seat with infant insert since baby was about 3 months because he wanted to look around more. Will probably get a wagon when he’s closer to one year, and maybe a running stroller at some point. Just fyi, our baby grew out of the infant seat right before six months and we never took it out of the car much anyway, so having a stroller that attaches may not be as big of a deal as you think. Car seats are not really recommended for extended durations anyway and aren’t as comfortable for many babies as a bassinet or stroller seat with infant insert. That is also the feedback I’ve heard on the Doona - some people really love it but personally I would never use it. Yes, we are those people who spend thousands on strollers… we are lucky to be in a postion where these aren’t “big” purchases for us. Definitely not true that everyone really needs multiple strollers like this. You can also get a carrier and choose to carry baby around rather than bringing a stroller with you when traveling, for example. But you can get popular strollers fairly cheap used if you are finding you have a specific need not met by your main stroller.
r/NewParents • What kind of/how many strollers do people have? ->For my baby we got a Nuna triv next, it’s a full size stroller but almost like a travel stroller! So it has enough space + not too big since I drive a civic. Plus if you get a nuna car seat it clicks in:) But I definitely don’t use a stroller daily lol, I’ve maybe used it 2x? I mostly baby wear her soooo
r/BabyBumps • Confused by strollers, what do you recommend? ->Nuna Triv and the Pipa. Love it
r/BabyBumpsCanada • BEST STROLLER/BASSINET/CARSEAT COMBO FOR 1st TIME MOM IN TORONTO? [on] ->We have the Nuna Triv and it fits perfectly. We also use the net that came with the car to keep it from moving around. Works great.
r/KiaEV9 • Fitting Full size Stroller in the trunk ->Nuna Pipa Urbn (baseless car seat) and either the Nuna trvl lx or Nuna triv next stroller! I have the car seat and triv next on my registry because of many of the same reasons you listed. We went into pottery barn and Nordstrom to test them out. All light, easy to move around, and super fast one handed folds and unfolds with the stroller.
r/Buyingforbaby • Car seat & Stroller that are EASY ->I live in a city. The nuna triv is more compact and you can fold up with one hand. Stores nicely.
r/NewParents • What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco) ->We went from full size (balios s lux), to only travel buggy (coya), to now Mios for daily and coya for travel. Could not recommend cybex Mios more. But Nuna triv next was our second choice. Compact, light but still sturdy and comfy.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller recommendations, smaller than vista but more comfortable than a travel stroller [on] ->Nuna triv stroller + pipa aire car seat
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->All of the above! Went with the Stokke Yoyo and love it, mostly because it’s super compact and durable. I live in a city where I mostly walk instead of drive. We also live in a smallish apartment instead of a house so a very small footprint matters. With my four-year-old, I previously had the Doona (great for the city but such a short duration of use) and the Nuna Triv (did not care for the suspension and found the seems of the wheels started to split after significant mileage, but this may not be a big deal if you aren’t walking as much). We bought him a secondhand, older generation Yoyo for travel and then switched to it as his primary. That thing was in great shape for its age! For my infant, we bought a new Yoyo with the newborn attachment and so far it’s been great. Very easy to fold even with the flat newborn feature.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Moms, what attracted you to buy that stroller? ->Nuna Triv with the Nuna Pipa Aire car seat and then the converter off Etsy to attach the UppaBaby bassinet. This is the system we use and we love it.
r/Buyingforbaby • Looking at all the stroller choices is making me want to pull my hair out! ->I don't get the UppaBaby hype. I think its an ugly stroller and you need a special pillow attachment just to use it for a young infant or the bassinet attachment, which all costs extra ontop of an already expensive stroller. The car seat is super heavy and not great either I hear. I did buy a similar top of the line/expensive travel system but loved it and thought it was well worth it. No need to spend extra for a infant pillow. It can be used from a newborn and the car seat is super nice and one of the lightest seats on the market. Highly recommend any of the Nuna travel systems. We had the Pipa and Mixx stroller.
r/Mommit • stroller recommendations ->Nuna Pipa and Nuna Triv. I had the Nuna Pipa and Nuna Mixx with our second. Loved it but wanted the stroller to be slightly more compact fold and a local baby boutique had the Triv limited Designer edition one with rainbow paint splatter print canopy and extra black canopy on sale from $1000 to $750 so I'm getting that one. Nuna is worth every penny and has a high resale value. 3 years of everyday use and I was able to sell my Mixx stroller for over $500 when I was done with it. That and the quality and feel of the products are well worth it. The dream drape feature on the Pipa is the best.
r/pregnant • What Travel Stroller system did you go with? ->I think strollers differ so much and depend on individual needs. For example, we ended up going Nuna Triv Next route. What really sold me was its compact and light weight frame system which is a big deal for me because I'm short (4' 10"). I know the Mockingbird is an alternative option that's cheaper and also decent from what I have heard, however it's heavier/bulkier.
r/Mommit • stroller recommendations ->I highly recommend the NUNA TRIV NEXT. it’s lightweight. Looks sleek and is worth the money.
r/NewParents • Stroller Recommendations ->I have the Nuna pipa rx and the triv stroller. The pipa urbn did not have all the safety features I wanted, as another user mentioned above. Would really only get it if you plan to take Ubers/taxis etc. I also tested the trvl stroller in store along with the triv and mixx. The trvl, while very lightweight and easily collapsible, did not have the option to rear face when using the stroller seat (you can rear face the car seat though). It also felt very flimsy, as though a strong breeze could knock it over. The triv could rear face, it was only about 5 lbs heavier, and it collapsed just as easily. I preferred it over the mixx which was very large and much heavier. Overall, if you are just using it in your own car to go about your town, I wouldn’t recommend this system, but I would recommend other products in the Nuna line. We paid $400 for the pipa rx and $700 for the triv stroller. For reference
r/Buyingforbaby • Nuna travel system review please ->We got the Nuna Triv stroller on Facebook Marketplace cheap. I don’t even know if I’ll use it as a stroller, but I wanted it for the frame for the infant seat. Easy fold like the baby jogger and very lightweight. But it’s not going to fit on a plane.
r/Buyingforbaby • Cheap lightweight caddy for Nuna Pipa RX ->I have a Nuna Triv Next as our primary stroller and we love it so far. Baby is 6 months old. It’s lightweight and really easy to fold. It fits nicely in the trunk of both vehicles we have. The Nuna infant car seat (we got the one that only weighs about 8 lbs) clicks right in with the ring adapter that came with it, and the stroller seat is incredibly easy to swap in when baby gets bigger. It’s a smooth feeling push as well, but it doesn’t have large wheels to go over bumpier areas. For that reason (and because my husband loves to run), we are also looking into joggers so we have another option.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Moms, what attracted you to buy that stroller? ->Buying a stroller is so stressful!! It's funny because I know so many people who have big expensive stroller, buy a travel stroller around 6ish months for a trip, and end up using the travel stroller as their primary stroller because it's so much more practical. But I do live in a suburb where strollers are mostly used for libraries, grocery shopping, etc rather than tough city sidewalks. I will say that the Uppababy brand is generally worth the prices- great quality, very high resale value (which is nice because you may need a double stroller in 2 years), good customer service, and there is a service center in Brooklyn that will repair or clean the stroller for reasonable prices. I have the Nuna Triv because buying from a completely flame retardant free company was important to me, but sometimes I do wish we had gone with an Uppababy because of the reasons listed above. I do love the Triv though- great size, nice big basket, decent quality overall, etc. I hate to add something else to your list- but have you looked at the new Minu V3? It's the great brand, more affordable than the Cruz, compact like the Joolz Aer, fits Uppababy or Nuna carseats, and overall is an option I would have considered 1.5 years ago if it was available!
r/Buyingforbaby • Looking at all the stroller choices is making me want to pull my hair out! ->Went to buy clothes but the shop also sold strollers/car seats. Was just taking a peak and fell in love with the NUNA brand. It’s a three-in-one combo. Car seat, toddler bed, stroller combo and I can change as my baby grow. There’s a strap in the center and when I pull it, it folds the stroller neatly for storage/traveling. Everything is super light weight and washable.
r/NewParents • Strollers - what did you wish you knew before you bought? ->I think pretty much any of the standard ones will work. The only ones I've seen that don't fit are those with the massive wheels or those vintage style ones. I would say having a stroller that folds quickly is pretty useful -- sometimes an elevator at an U-Bahn / S-Bahn station isn't working and there's no one around to help. I have the Nuna Triv, and I'm super happy with it, and my friends mostly have Bugaboos.
r/berlin • Good stroller for Berlin? ->I have the Nuna triv and love it. Very expensive but it was my little treat to myself (and i will be keeping it for baby #2). I like it because it’s not big and bulky. I knew I would never use a big stroller long term. I like to walk on weekends and walk to the grocery store so I needed a stroller that could handle that but wasn’t too large or too flimsy (travel strollers).
r/Buyingforbaby • Looking at all the stroller choices is making me want to pull my hair out! ->We have the Urbn and love it!! But I’ll say, we are city folk and take a lot of cabs and Ubers, so it really is our best option. We have the Mixx Next and it’s great, but definitely a large and heavy piece of equipment. We have a lighter weight travel stroller for jaunts where we need to be more portable.
r/Buyingforbaby • Nuna travel system review please ->I got the nuna next travel system and I was not impressed for the price. Granted I have nothing to compare it to but I expected it to be lighter and easier to get in and out of the car :/. Quality is good but wish I’d gone with a different option.
r/pregnant • What Travel Stroller system did you go with? ->We have one, the Nuna Pipa Urban Travel system. We've traveled across the country with it twice. It folds up at gate for gate check, no problem. It comes with the infant car seat. Our 7 month old is 19lbs and 24in tall and fits in it nicely still. The car seat attaches to the stroller to face backwards. It clips into any vehicle, no base needed, can go in an Uber etc. She's sitting well enough now that she can sit forward facing in the stroller, which adjust the back angle from all the way flat to fully upright. So, we don't need the car seat if we don't want to take it out of the car with us. We will use this stroller until she's 5+ or whenever she stops wanting to sit in it. It's durable, packable and idk why anyone overcomplicates their lives by getting multiple strollers.
r/NewParents • What kind of/how many strollers do people have? ->Since Nuna pipa URBN does not come with a base you would need to secure the car seat in your car every time as opposed to just clicking it in place. We opted for nuna pipa RX instead for this reason (which we also bought on Nordstrom anniversary sale today!)
r/Buyingforbaby • Nuna travel system review please ->After lots of shopping around, we went with the Nuna PIPA urbn and Demi Next. Was able to try different combos (mainly UPPAbaby and Nuna) in our vehicles and really liked the one we chose.
r/Buyingforbaby • Best travel system for a baby? ->Doona’a are very heavy. I recommended Nuna Urbn with Trvl stroller combo. Lightweight, safe and sturdy.
r/BabyBumps • stroller + car seat recs? esp. Nuna or Doona - FTM feeling overwhelmed ->I’m due in July and plan to travel and spend time in both urban and suburban environments. I also have a compact car. I got the Nuna TRVL lx and pipa urbn, both great for travel. The only considerations are that the stroller doesn’t have a bassinet attachment and a parent facing option. Not a huge deal for me initially but I had an insomnia / pre tariff price increase freak out purchase where I also ended up buying a full size stroller, Cybex Balios S Lux 2 Stroller + Cot S Lux 2 Bundle, from Albee baby which was heavily discounted because the color way was discontinued. So now I have two 😅 but no regrets!
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->We love our Nuna pipa aire and Nuna trvl combo. It makes our commutes and taking baby out a breeze, and we’re super glad the car seat is light (who knew babies get heavy so quickly). I will say it’s not the best at going over bumps in the road though and it definitely on the pricey end.
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->I got the Burley Honey Bee for running! It’s been great, and we can attach it to the bike. It doesn’t have a hand break, but I haven’t needed one. Baby does have to meet size minimums to use it, but it by far gets more use than any other stroller I’ve had. For family outings I love my Nuna! I was cheap and started with a Baby Trend Travel System and the stroller broke before I had my second, the car seat started deteriorating with my first and broke with my second:/ whatever you do I wouldn’t cheap out, you’ll pay more in the long run.
r/BabyBumps • How did you choose a stroller and car seat? ->We had a Nuna that was good, but then I rented a Bob jogger on vacation and fell in love with it. I ended up buying a Thule Jogger which is going strong with kid number 2, but the Bob is a great choice too. Joggers are just better with different terrain, hop curbs easy, and are simple. The Nuna was great if you're on a smooth sidewalk or something and had too many plastic parts
r/BuyItForLife • Stroller Recommendations ->I love my Nuna stroller and will die on the Nuna hill. Nuna is worth every penny. The quality is simply unmatched. I am so hard on everything and it all still looks, feels, and operates well. I had the infant seat that snapped into the stroller, which was great. Then I was able to switch the seat in the stroller when my son got older and he has loved his stroller. It does well on bumpy surfaces, outdoors, and I can run into everything and it still looks new.
r/NewParents • What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco) ->I love our city stroller by baby jogger. I’ve got the single and the double. I’ve had about 3 prams including the nuna which is great but bulky and not as easy to fold and put in the car
r/2under2 • Side by side double stroller recommendations ->If you're contemplating used check out goodbuygear. I loved the Nuna and it was worlds above our cheaper travel stroller.
r/daddit • Wife is 15 weeks - went down a stroller rabbit hole… ->I have the twin v2 and it is soooo junky. Flimsy basket, threads pulled right out of the box, hard af to push in a parking lot. It’s ridiculous that everyone recommends all terrain wheels for me to push that stroller in parking lot. I’m selling my v2 and getting the Nuna. I have a single Nuna and I love that thing. I wouldn’t waste my time with Zoe again.
r/2under2 • Side by side double stroller recommendations ->I have the uppababy Cruz. I love it. I have a lab and haven't had any issues walking her with it. fwiw, I use a waist belt leash. We do city walking, dirt path walking, and I easily run errands with it. I tried the Nuna strollers. Couldn't figure out how to fold them easily. Uppababy also has excellent customer service and warranties. I had to use a warranty on another product and they were quick about confirming coverage and sending a replacement (though it took longer to get here than I'd have liked). I would consider getting one secondhand. I found so many on FB marketplace for $200-300. UB often sells spare parts, so you can fix most issues (scuffed bars, wheels, etc.).
r/BabyBumps • Overwhelmed by stroller options ->My biggest suggestion is to test drive them if you can. My requirement was one that I could maneuver one handed as I walk the the dog at the same time. I was able to get a Nuna off Craigslist for a good price, so that's what we went with. So far I am happy with its maneuverability and how easy it is to click in the cars eat, Bassinet, etc. It is a bit on the heavy side though and takes up a lot of trunk space in the car.
r/BabyBumps • Best stroller/car seat/combo ->I was skeptical at first as well. My husband and I got a nuna for our first child and OMG it is so convenient. It is easy to install in your car and it collapses easily as well. 10/10 would recommend if it fits your budget.
r/NewParents • What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco) ->Evenflo is easy, and light weight Doona is a great first start (ftm here and we have this and I love it) Nuna-also light weight and I think some models have no base required but the stroller base is heavy/larger We use doona for short trips to Dr or target and use a cyber something light weight fold up 10 lb stroller for longer walks etc. this alows us to keep the actual doona car seat in good shape.
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->FTM went through so many strollers. We have 1 baby and will have a 2nd about 1.5-2 years apart. Live in the city but also have a car and use it often, major walkers and also loads of snow. Had the graco and evenflo (doubles strollers for a 2nd future baby). Threw these out (sold one and one is at grandmas). I couldn’t put them in the car (I could but the hassle and time it would, was too long). Had to put the chair part from the frame to put in the car as it’s not a 1 fold. We live in a city and car theif is super high in public, malls, i wasn’t taking a chance with Lo locked in the car while in taking 2 mins to fold and put the stroller away. Anyways, for everyday strollers (errands in car) Nuna travel, one hand fold, automatic, good sunshade, very easy to put in the car and unfold with one hand. I don’t use this for long walks though, but errands in the city, malls, daycare etc. not good on snow but inbetween. The yoyo one I believe was the next best one. I wouldn’t use these on on baby under 9 months though since they are not parent facing. Maxi corsi Stella i think, great suspension, horrible handle, lift, still big, heavy. Overall win: for walking, errands by foot, longgg walks, bad weather, can go car friendly but still big for my taste. But it’s infant to toddler friendly, comes with a bassinet, chair, can add 2 kids or just 1 with bassinet to seat depending on model, love their sun shades, handle is comfortable. We got the Uppababy cruz better for the city less wide than the vista. cruz can hold only 1 child but comes with a stand board, forward and rear facing.. snack tray is good. I love this stroller for everyday. Comes with a car seat which is totally comfortable for Lo and easily detachable to my frame to base. We bought it used on FB as I didn’t understand the Uppababy hype.. but I wish I got this one for my first. Also customer service is great with their questions. For strong winters (we have snow and low as -20 but we don’t go outside but for snow air filled tires are best) we got a bob for jogging with ours now, and it’s been great but it’s for camping, jogging, winter times outside. Huge though but if you go outside for winter often air filled tires are the best.
r/Mommit • stroller recommendations ->We tried them out in person, strongly recommend if you have a store close to you. We went with the Nuna because it was the only one tall enough for my 6'4" husband. The uppababy at its tallest height worked for me at 5'10". Neither needs a bassinet. Nuna lays completely flat as it is. And the uppababy has a relatively affordable insert that will make it flat for a newborn, I think it's $50-$75.
r/BabyBumps • Stuck between Nuna and Uppababy ->We got the nuna because the ring/ circle adapter they have that you can put the car seat in was by far the easiest way to place a car seat in a stroller. Woth back problems, I did not want to try to finagle a heavy car seat with baby in it to fit into the stroller. With the noona, i I could punt the car seat in from 10 yards away and it would probably land right on the ring adapter.
r/NewParents • What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco) ->I worked at a baby store in college so I used to sell strollers to all types of people. I’m also a FTM and recently purchased one for myself. I will say that it’s an extremely personal choice - what works for you and yours may not work for me. For example, I live in a city with rough brick sidewalks - so good wheels and suspension were important to us. We also haven’t met our baby yet and don’t know what their temperament will be, so shelling out $800+ for a stroller seems risky. I have plenty of friends/family who have expensive strollers collecting dust in their cars/basements. We looked at the UppaBaby, Nuna, and a lot of the other popular systems on the market and decided they wouldn’t work for us. We loathed the Doona (my husband is 6’5) and weren’t overly impressed with the Graco / Chiccos we saw at Target. We found a boxed and brand new Baby Jogger City Mini at a discount store and bought it for a great price. My husband is obsessed with it already. It’s a brand I used to sling at the store and it’s very functional / in line with what we were looking for. I suggest testing out as many as possible, if you can. There aren’t many baby stores left, but Nordstrom has some on display. Rei might as well. Target as a few. Unsure about Walmart. And I think talking to parents who are out and about when you see them pushing strollers can be helpful. But default on your own judgement and prioritize your needs. Also, if your baby is going to be born in colder months, or if you’re not ready to commit to a brand/type, you may want to hold off or just get a snap n go system.
r/BabyBumps • Confused by strollers, what do you recommend? ->we love how smooth ours feels, but the thing that was important to me was that nuna does not use fire retardants and on their items
r/NewParents • What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco) ->
