We’ve taken out Nuna next to France, Greece, Spain and the Carribean! Worked really well for us every time.

I got the Nuna Next for this exact reason, seemed like the best compromise and it’s worked really well for us for the last 2.5 years including multiple holidays.

I love my Nuna Triv Next. We bought the bassinet but only used it with the stroller a couple of times because the car seat just made more sense. She slept in the bassinet every night til she outgrew it at 3 months though, so still worth it.

I tried them both in person and decided on the Nuna Triv Next. It was lighter, easier to manage, less bulky, one handed fold, able to gate check. We are also using the bassinet - the Uppababy bassinet was trickier for me and less intuitive and the stand showed scuffs easier. My partner really liked the storage under the Nuna Lytl bassinet

I thought I was going to want Uppababy, but went to try out strollers in person and decided on the Nuna Triv Next. It was lightweight, easy one handed fold, easy to maneuver, able to gate check - I knew I’d be on a lot of adventures on my own with baby. Also I already knew I wanted the Nuna Pipa infant car seat. For me, UB ended up feeling too bulky and not intuitive when it came to folding. We do a lot of walks on grass, gravel, sidewalks. Taken many road trips and car errands. Had other family handle the stroller when babysitting. Baby is now 4.5 months and we’ll be taking him to NYC in a couple months too. I don’t think it converts to 2 but I know there are other comparable model for that.  When I was pregnant we weren’t sure about a second baby so we just decided to choose for the one baby we were sure about.

Tbh, I don’t remember haha. If I had to guess it was probably a weight thing for me plus the shop owner trying to help with our decision fatigue and just telling us “based on what you’ve told me this is the one I recommend” at that point it felt like splitting hairs to me so we were just fine with anything that would help me make a decision haha  The LX looks great too! I’m sure I would have loved that model too. That said, I’m really happy with the Triv Next and I don’t ever find myself lusting after other strollers or wishing I had something different.

I will sing the praises of the nuna triv next from the rooftops. I love that thing. We had an uppababy vista because we were planning for 2 under 2 and sold it a month after baby was here. Baby hated it, we hated it, it was clunky and bulky and not at all suited for our lifestyle. The nuna triv next has been amazing. We use it almost every day.

We have the triv next and are 4 months in and absolutely loving it! Folds up so small and easily so we can store it at the front door of our apartment, and also goes in and out of the trunk super easily. Still feels very smooth on our walks around the neighbourhood (paved and gravel), and great in grocery stores and restaurants. Highly recommend 😊 haven’t tried it yet but also its apparently still light enough to be gate checked at the airport, so we plan to use it as our travel stroller as well

We use a Nuna Triv Next. It checked all of our boxes as our single stroller… it’s pretty small and light!

Seconding the Nuna triv for a lightweight stroller with parent facing option. The seat reclines all the way too. It's not as light as some true travel strollers but is the lightest one I found that parent faces. We recently took ours abroad and it worked well for traveling

I also live on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator in my building. For me, the MOST important thing about our stroller has been it being lightweight and if I had to go back in time and buy it again that would be my number 1 priority. If you don't have an elevator, I would suggest you narrow stroller options to a list of the top 5 lightest options you can afford and go from there.  We got a Nuna Triv Next (on the pricier side, a family member gave us money specifically for a travel system) as it is lightweight but there are even more lightweight ones which I would consider if I were going back in time.  Once you've narrowed them down to lightweight options which are affordable for you, then compare them based on what else is important to you.  With the stairs and no elevator, I would say next important is how easily it folds and whether/how easily you can carry baby in part of it up the stairs whilst carrying the other part. For us, the bassinet part of the Nuna clicks out easily and I can then fold down the wheel section very easily and have worked out how to carry both at once. This is where something like the Yo-yo or Joolz Aer+ would be even lighter and easier. I think Joolz Aer+ even has a special shoulder strap for carrying!  Then I'd consider things like  - what sort of surfaces will you be using it on (eg off-road, bumpy pavements/sidewalks etc Vs smooth surfaces and shopping malls) - some of the very lightweight prams have wheels with less good suspension. For us that's what swayed us to the Nuna Vs Yo-yo or Joolz Aer - although they were lighter, we wanted wheels that could cope with city centre but also off road for when we escaped into the countryside.  - storage: do you need to be able to fold it all down and store in a very small space in your home? Or do you have space for it to stay up? Etc. if you need it to fold right down the Yo-yo would be a good option as it can fold WITH THE BASSINET ON IT!  - longevity: how long you want to be able to use it for. Do you need it from Newborn? (you'll need either a bassinet attachment or the seat will need to recline to fully flat) Are you planning to have multiple children with a small age gap and therefore it is worth getting a stroller which has the ability to turn into a 2-seater in the future?  - other lifestyle things such as will you be flying a lot and want something that can go in and overhead locker? (Very few options out there so if this is important to you, this will narrow down the field significantly.) Again Yo-yo can do this.  But start with looking for the lightweight options and go from there :) Hope this helps!  Edited to change "lift" to "elevator" for clarity in the post (I'm from the UK and default to saying "lift"!)

I have the mixx, I was considering the triv but ultimately opted for the sturdier, better suspension and more all terrain one. My logic was I found it to still be easy to fold / load and where we live there are a lot of nature trails, etc and I wanted to be able to take my stroller not just on smooth paths etc. The TRIV next is still a great option and honestly has great maneuverability suspension, etc compared to other strollers. My choice was also based on my environment. I live in a suburban area with lots of trails, etc. If I lived in a more environment , I could definitely have seen myself opting for the TRIV Next. And honestly it seems like it would be adequate in most terrains as well. I personally love being able to easily switch from paved to unpaved, clear curbs easily, push up/down stairs by myself when things are not readily accessible. I DONT fly with my nuna because I’ve heard too many horror stories of damages so I again wasn’t too concerned about it being on the larger end. You probably have done it, but I went in to Nordstrom like 3 different times and had different people show me each model multiple times before I made my final decision lol. It can feel daunting, but I have enjoyed and highly recommend nuna products.
