Absolutely what we did. Found a faded and worn Nuna Tavo for $80, spent some time cleaning it thoroughly, and gate checked it in a $20 bag from Amazon without worry about our nice stroller getting banged up.
r/Buyingforbaby • Do I really need a travel stroller? Or would you gate check your Nuna Mixx Next? ->I went with the nuna tavo because I’m not really worried about the weight and it’s very all in one. If you’re looking for something small and light it’s definitely not the move but I love being able to either pop her car seat on for quick trips or lie it flat in bassinet mode for longer strolls. It also steers beautifully and has a nice sized basket and lots of ventilation. It’s pretty sizable but it does everything I need it to!
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Moms, what attracted you to buy that stroller? ->Also QC. We have the Nuna Pipa/ Tavo travel system and it works pretty well in the snow and has suspension. The stroller folds super well too.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • [qc] travel systems/strollers capatable with Canadian winters? ->I also had my eyes set on vista v3 but when we actually checked it out at snugglebugz we found it was very heavy. We went with a Nuna Tavo which was lightweight and folded easily. Though I would not recommend the Tavo for anything other than city roads
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller Recommendations [on] ->I originally bought the Nuna Tavo and I hated it. I ended up buying the Uppababy Cruz v2 and also hated that one lol. In the end, I bought the one I wanted all along but always thought was too expensive - the nuna mixx. I love the Mixx so if you have any questions, happy to answer them! I would get something that is: 1. Has the ability to be parent facing 2. Has a easy / not irritating fold 3. Can lie back all the way for a newborn 4. Fits in your trunk 5. Has a capsule adapter so if bub is sleeping, you can take off the seat and snap in the seat It’s worth it to buy the stroller that you want as you’ll use it a lot. I use my stroller everyday and don’t regret paying $865 with tax for my stroller.
r/NewParents • Strollers - what did you wish you knew before you bought? ->We’ve brought our nuna tavo to Italy 4+ times and that brand can take a beating! It’s done great and even been great napping while going over all cobblestone and everything. We almost bought the TRVL in Italy because we loved it so much and the Tavo takes up so.much.space. We’ve also take. The GB Pocket+ and its great as well I’m just not a super fan of the way babies sit in it and it takes two hands. I would not not not take a doona to Italy. Did you book your baby a seat? We are going in a month and he’s on our lap(also will be 10mo!) I’m bringing: -Konny wrap -wild bird carrier - nuna tavo or TRVL -renting car seat*** ***we have a nuna pippa in Italy that was lost luggage and has been found and we can go claim 😝
r/Mommit • Should we bring our main stroller to Italy? ->I have the Nuna Tavo Next with pipa rx travel system and love it! It seems like unfortunately there’s been a price increase recently though. I would still buy it again.
r/BabyBumps • Where to start with strollers and why is it so confusing! ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
