"The TRVL stroller is light weight, one hand open and close. ... We loved the set so much, especially has big travelers."
"the one button collapse can be done one handed and it can be carried one handed"
"I have the Nuna trvl and it came in clutch during my trip. ... I’m so glad I got the trvl because it would’ve been annoying to carry another heavy thing around. ... I personally think it’s worth it. ... adding 30lbs is a lot. ... I didn’t want to lug it around hahah. ... Think of the luggages, backpacks, car seat, snack packs, etc. that you’re already juggling that day."

"you can gate check it and it’s a very very airport friendly stroller ... I have flown solo parenting with a baby at 9 weeks and at 7 months and it was fantastic, easy to wrangle through TSA and it’s sturdy enough for gate checking ... We’ve done about 10 flights with it in 2 years and zero damage"

"We’ve used it as our only stroller for 2 years and have traveled around the world with it several times ... gate checks super well"

"is really quite heavy duty so you can treat it as your daily as well as your travel stroller ... it holds up with daily use! ... still going strong as a daily with kid #2"
"the pram has gone on multitudes of short and long haul rides and still going strong"
"We’ve traveled hard with it internationally and domestically, and live in an urban area with bumpy sidewalks and a brutal Midwest winter. Zero damage after 2 years of vigorous use."

"It has amazing compatibility with the Pipa series car seats and creates a type of cocoon."
"The car seat can be attached to the stroller without any adapters"
"The car seat also clicks into that as well if you want another stroller that’s better for traveling!"

"My Nordstrom rep showed me it’s top heavy with a baby in there. ... It really felt unsteady, like if you hung a heavy purse off the handle it could tip backwards."
"I wouldn’t use these on on baby under 9 months though since they are not parent facing."
"My main/only gripe when I bought was that it had no lay-flat mode so you couldn’t use it until ~6mo"

"I would say the only thing I hate are the straps. ... I think I never learn to use them properly or maybe now that my son is 17 months the seem to be short for him."

"I tried the Nuna TRVL in store and its a bit sturdier than the Joolz, but I don't believe its small enough to be compliant with airplane overheard compartment so you'd need to check it, so I feel like that defeats the whole purpose"
"I think if you don’t need it to fit in an overhead bin, the TRVL is really nice and the self-fold is cool. ... I was set on something fitting in the overhead because I’ve had a couple friends experience their gate-checked stroller being lost or damaged by the airline."
"too big to take into the cabin"

"I didn’t listen to her and went solely for the Nuna Trvl. I wish I did listen to her now that baby is here. ... I ended up buying myself (instead of putting it on my registry) the Uppababy Cruz V2. I love this stroller more than the Trvl. It handles more of my day-to-day bs and feels sturdier. It’s great in grass and for quick trips with the car seat attachment."
"I will say it’s not the best at going over bumps in the road though ... it’s kind of equally frustrating and hilarious though when we get stuck on some small bumps 😂 like why can’t this $500 stroller handle city sidewalks??"
"The Nuna was great if you're on a smooth sidewalk or something ... Joggers are just better with different terrain"

"The Nuna unfortunately doesn’t have a large basket."
"The ONLY thing that could be better about it is the basket is fairly small."
"the ONLY downside to it imo is the storage bin under the seat is quite small"
TRVL has bigger wheels than the Minu V2, so it should be better over rough ground. The TRVL LX has even bigger wheels of you still want bigger, and still folds compact. The Minu V2 already has bigger wheels than other strollers in its class (Joolz Aer+ and Bugaboo Butterfly), so I don't think either of those would be an improvement in the ride department. The Guzzie & Guzz Oxygen V2 stroller has 6.8 in / 6 in rear/front wheels, respectively, which are also bigger than the Minu's. Another option is the Peg Perego Vivace, which has 7 in wheels and also a reversible seat, but still folds fairly compact. It's around 21 lbs though, so heavier than ultracompacts. The Cybex Beezy (make sure it's the 2024 model, or newer) also has fairly big wheels and folds relatively compact.

You may like the Minu if you’re using it a lot. It will fit in the backseat easily and is pretty sturdy for a travel stroller. We have the V2 and it’s nice for using during car based errands. We also have the Trvl and I wouldn’t recommend this one because it gets rickety pretty fast. Can’t speak to the upgraded version as ours is the base version. It’s also bigger when folded than a lot of the others on your list. At least if the base Trvl is still pulling you in, you may want to check out the version from Joie since it’s cheaper.
I would get a reduced price v2 if that’s an option still. Or maybe a used one. I guess my point is that, Id get a v2 or v3, but definitely try to get a deal. We have the vista, aria car seat and the minu v2 and it’s a great combo. The bassinet can go on the vista and the minu (but not on the newest minu). The aria car seat can click into either frame, although you really don’t want to use the car seat for daily walks. Along with the bassinet stand it’s a really sweet set up. I saw you mentioned the Nuna urban car seat and stroller elsewhere in the thread. We have the Trvl stroller and the urban baseless car seat and they’re not great. The stroller was rickety within 6 months of very light use and the seat pops up really easily off the car seat. It’s convenient and obviously passed safety tests, but I don’t think it’s as secure as a full seat with a base and load leg. Also the weight limit is pretty low so you’ll be swapping over to the convertible seat pretty quickly. As far as weight goes, I don’t think the Vista is terribly heavy. I’m disabled and can load the thing in and out of the car from a wheelchair fwiw. Initially it’s absolutely awful. I hated it in store and it seemed bulky and heavy and I had all of the common complaints you see online. But, once you know how to disassemble it, it really isn’t a big deal. The weight distribution is a little different so you’ll basically want to practice a couple times until you find the spots on the frame that work for you to lift it smoothly. Within a week it was nothing to pack it up and go. We travel with ours internationally on the regular and use the travel bag system. We’re now using it for 2 kids and it’s ok for that. The steering isn’t brilliant, but I did like not having to buy an entirely new system.
We have one and it’s been pretty rubbish from the start. Maybe they’ve shored it up, but ours is rickety and hasn’t held up well from very light use.
Like someone else said, if you want something that lasts until toddler age, it will be a convertible seat not an infant seat. I’m not a fan of infant seats so we’re going straight to a convertible and getting a stroller with a bassinet mode. Nuna is great, just pricy. I am a big fan but do agree with the other commenter that I need two hands to collapse. The mockingbird is also pretty nice - plenty configurations and compatible with a lot of car seats. I can fold it with one hand and i think it pushes well. If you’re planning on having more kids it’s nice with the ability to add a second seat or have one bassinet and one toddler seat at once.
Uppababy Vista plus Nuna Pipa RX and TRVL. I definitely used the TRVL more for the first 4 months or so. It weighs nothing! I also had a C section and didn’t have any trouble lifting it. I use the Vista for neighborhood walks and longer outings. It’s getting much more use now that baby is sitting up and super alert.
My favorite too! Just used this in Aruba. Only caveat is it doesn’t fit in the overhead bin so you need to gate check it
We have 3. Uppabbay Cruz for long walks daily with the dog, its better in the snow and sturdy. Nuna trvl in the car for easy fold, umbrella stroller when travelling. Hes almost in walking stage so Im pretty sure well be upgrading to a wagon next. We shall see!
NUNA TVL is my travel stroller and my every day stroller. Love it
I knew we would want to do a lot with our kid and wasn’t sure if I should get one stroller to “do it all” or multiple with specific purposes in mind. We ended up getting two, one small super lightweight and one large jogging stroller and I’m so glad we did. The lightweight Nuna Trvl is perfect for the grocery store, coffee shop, mall etc and our jogger (Thule urban glide) is amazing for all our outdoor trips, walks in the park, etc. Instead of having one middle ground, I’m so glad we have two very different options that work for our specific wants. Also we got both on sale so it worked out. The urban glide 2 we got at an REI garage sale for only $280!
The nuna trvl with a pipa is elite - see if you can get the stroller on marketplace or something!
I’d do the nuna trvl with the bassinet attachment and the nuna pipa capsule, the bassinet and capsules just click in super easily, that way you get all the benefits of those and can transition to the regular stroller whenever you want. It lies flat too so you can do that from birth.
