Peg Perego - Primo Viaggio Lounge on Wheels

Where are you traveling? We have a peg perego lounge, which we had figured out a practical/minimalist system for traveling with (use it without base in car, and clip it into same brand travel "selfie" stroller for trains and other situations where we have to lug all out stuff at once. Remove stroller adaptor and leave car seat in hotel room when we're just on foot for the day). ....but then went to Japan and the seatbelts there don't lock! It's only the latch system! And our car seat combo only has latchs on the base (which we didn't bring). Luckily our Japanese friends drive an import so it still sort of worked. But we'd be SOL if we were taking taxis.
