"It stood up to a tornado i got hit with on my last backpacking trip in missouri."
"it literally survived a tornado while set up. I just had to stake it back down."
"surprisingly solid tent for hunkering down for a day or two in very wet and stormy Wyoming weather. ... exceed the quality of a lot of Western branded mid range tents in the $500 USD pricing tier based on my experience of seeing colleagues with a couple of very well known and popular mid tiered tents struggling under stronger winds and wetter weather."

"I got it over other ones because it's for newborn up which means the seat can go relatively flat but also relatively straight upright. ... It's also meant to be good for taller children. My 90th percentile 13 month old is very happy in it."
"Lays flat for infants too."
"Skip is great, especially with the near full recline. We started using with our bub at 4 months."

"the basket underneath was completely inaccessible from the back. I thought there would at least be some give in the back but there wasn’t lol. Like 2 inches of space to get in the back."
"I walk to the grocery store with my babe often and the basket on it is way too small."
"The aer doesn’t even hold my daily diaper bag. ... The basket is so small."

"not one handed fold/unfold like others. You have to pull this awkwardly placed red lever to unfold it fully. And to fold it you need to pull both left and right sides of the handlebars."
"The Redsbaby Skip2 is not a one hand fold either."

"accessories can sometimes be out of stock for months. I bought my pram in Feb but had to wait until May to get the foot muff and rain cover."
Redsbaby skip! They’ve just released a new model and if it was in the budget I would upgrade from the skip2 to the skip3 in a heartbeat! Compact, light, fits overhead (have flown with it many times with virgin and never been denied). Lays flat for infants too.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram for 3 month old (overhead locker on plane) ->Just bought the Redsbaby skip! Can't wait to use it. Felt sturdier than the buggagoo and joelaer.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram recommendations? ->I also liked the fact that the rear wheels are wider than the front wheels in skip2, so felt more sturdy and less prone to tip. Not sure why bugaboo butterfly, joolz and yoyo all have narrow rear wheels.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram recommendations? ->I love the Redsbaby Skip2, so convenient!
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram recommendations? ->Redsbaby. Bulletproof/Baby grime proof.
r/daddit • Wife is 15 weeks - went down a stroller rabbit hole… ->I’ve done international travel with the Skip2 and it was easy to use. The Skip3 has a bigger basket and better fold function and I’m considering upgrading for the next overseas trip but that’ll likely be the last time I need it, so I probably won’t.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel stroller ->Get the Skip3. The basket is very small on the Skip2.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Stroller advice ->The Redsbaby Skip2 is not a one hand fold either. It has a very small basket but I fit a surprising amount of small things (water bottles, lunchboxes, light jackets) in it when travelling. It is lightweight and very compact when packed. I use it for travel (fits in the overhead on a plane and has a travel bag) and in my small second car, with our full size pram being in the main car.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Please pick one stroller👶 ->We just did 3 weeks in the UK with the skip2. In cities that were definitely not pram friendly (soooo many stairs), the pram held up so well. Very light even with bub in it so we could carry him up and down stairs easily. It does take a few steps to fold up but it's compact and once you get the hang of it it's quite easy. The pram also held up really well on all the cobblestone paths so it's very durable. I loved that bub can practically lay flat in it which was perfect for pram naps out and about. And the hood folds down so low which was great for wind protection.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Stroller advice ->Redsbaby by far. I had the Joolz Aer and I upgraded to the redsbaby. The recline, the upright seat, the basket, the sun cover. I find them all far better than the Joolz!
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram - joolz aer or redsbaby skip 3? ->I will say I feel like the Joolz was slimmer when folded but still would go for the redsbaby
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram - joolz aer or redsbaby skip 3? ->I've got one. It's a good little, lightweight pram that I've had for about a year and it's our only pram. I got it over other ones because it's for newborn up which means the seat can go relatively flat but also relatively straight upright. It's also meant to be good for taller children. My 90th percentile 13 month old is very happy in it. Plus the price point worked well for us and I knew my baby would outgrow a pram bassinet quickly being 90th percentile (we got it when he was 4 weeks old). Some cons though - not one handed fold/unfold like others. You have to pull this awkwardly placed red lever to unfold it fully. And to fold it you need to pull both left and right sides of the handlebars. - pram basket is quite small, hard to fit a nappy bag in but we use a caddy so it's fine. - no window to look through the hood so I have to pull it back to see what bub is doing - handle bars aren't height adjustable but to be fair, I dont think most travel prams can. And it is on the taller side compared to other travel prams. - accessories can sometimes be out of stock for months. I bought my pram in Feb but had to wait until May to get the foot muff and rain cover. - seat is a pain to adjust as it uses a toggle that you have to pull. But again, I think a lot of prams use a similar system.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Redsbaby Skip 2 ->I have the redsbaby skip3 if you have any questions! (It ticks all your boxes).I haven't had it long but I'm using it as a everyday pram and haven't used for travel yet but I've used it alot already , previously I had the 1st model skip for my last trip. I'm happy with it for the price point it's amazing, I think it's the best travel pram for its price range. I couldnt consider the aer, yoyo, butterfly etc.. because out of my budget but i couldnt imagine spending more for them over the skip3 anyway. I always see yoyos out and about n im sussing them out but I don't get the hype but maybe I'm missing something!
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram help please - decision paralysis ->like: - son is comfy in it for long periods of time - good coverage on canopy - bump bar extra was a good buy, son always holds onto it - easy newborn compatibility for when i have a second - easy one hand fold - basket holds alot for travel pram standards (done my produce market shop and supermarket top up with it) - overall so many new features from the old model , its hard to wrong and they sorta just added all the features it needed dislike - no peekaboo window on canopy (the only feature I think they missed) - back of basket is quite floppy if stuff leaning onto it - I don't like the carry strap, it's kinda elastically so I find it harder to pick up and carry on my shoulder (compared with the 1st skip just had a normal tight strap) maybe a me problem? Overall minor issues, and weren't deal breakers other thoughts - worth noting with the belly bar attachment, it requires 2 hands to fold down before folding the whole pram, so it no longer a 1 handed fold logically. however I do manage to do it holding my son awkwardly n it is optional accessory.. - it does have a great recline I just can't say much because my son doesn't use that feature (doesn't sleep in prams) haha Will edit if I think of something else..
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram help please - decision paralysis ->We’ve got the skip and it’s great
