Silver Cross - Cove Travel System

My wife and I are also torn between the cove and fox 5. One thing we liked about the Cove is that you get a separate bassinet and seat whereas th Fox 5 uses the fabric from The bassinet for the seat. The seat on the Cove lays near flat whereas the Fox 5 it doesn’t(I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t). We found the Silvercross felt lighter and looked better than the Fox 5. The only thing we liked about the fox 5 in comparison to the silver cross was the bassinet collapsed however, it was significantly heavier than the silver cross’ bassinet

Silver cross cove is fantastic. I spent weeks looking into it, bought the cybex balios then the cove came out so I returned the cybex. We bought the cove with the glide 360 car seat. We have ended up getting the recently released silver cross nia as a travel pram which is great too - works with the car seat etc. The things that ticked the boxes for the cove for me: - big wheels with good suspension and proper tread - really quick fold mechanism (some of them seem to be designed by people who hate their users) - wheels can be removed and cleaned - compatibility with a car seat that could spin on a base - partner liked the brand and the colour options

We decided to go with a Silver Cross Cove travel system - it will last him from newborn to about 4 years old and i think most travel systems do. Probably won’t bother with a travel pram unless we are going on holiday or something and need a more lightweight option. I highly recommend booking a John Lewis baby appointment - you can go and try out as many prams and travel systems you like and they clear up any and all questions you might have about them. And theres no pressure to buy then and there - they send you an email with links to everything you looked at and you get a discount. Highly recommend :)
