"Silver cross Jet. Great on the bus. ... If you can pull up a seat, it slides right in. ... Nice and narrow."

We never used our vista again after babe 2 came. Little got worn and we got a Silver Cross Jet travel for the big. We are heading on our first Disney trip soon and rented the Zoe twin and I’m excited to try it/compare it to how good the silver cross is before committing to the price of the jet double!
The Vista isn’t manageable anywhere except for the garage for stroller walks. It really is the most cumbersome, overhyped stroller on the market. Travel stroller vote here too: we love the jet 5 by silver cross!
Having just purchased a travel stroller, we looked at the stokke yoyo, bugaboo butterfly, uppababy minu v3, silvercross jet 5, and joolz aer -- all comply with most overhead cabin sizing. I would recommend also purchasing the stroller case/carrier so it looks more like a standard carry-on. Some airline staff might make you gate-check regardless of size once they see that it is a stroller. Having the cover/case will reduce that issue.
I got a silver cross jet 5 - light weight (7.5kg), folds up the size of cabin luggage for air travel, I live in a city so I don't really need off roading. Suitable from birth up to 4 years.
Doona is soo overrated, dont bother. That thing is just an infant carseat on flimsy wheels and short handle. Its a little convenient, but after 6-12 months (usually before 12), it becomes 100% obsolete, and you still have to go buy a new convertible carseat, AND an actual stroller. The doona money is just evaporated into nothingness and is essentially wasted. Ive gone deep into the rabbit hole of budget mid tier, to high end travel systems, and ended up choosing a high end quality one that can last a long time. Top brands consist of Silvercross, Uppababy, Nuna, Bugaboo, and even Cybex. 1st is the selection of single strollers with all bells and whistles. Heres my top selections. You can go into a research binge into each one to really sort out the minor differences. Nuna mixx next, Uppababy Cruz, Bugaboo Fox5, and Silvercross Reef2. 2nd is single to double strollers..these usually have a bulky frame but many people like these so they can adapt to having 2 different aged children on the stroller, and can be useful for twins too. Uppababy Vista v3, Nuna Demi next, Silvercross Wave3, Bugaboo Donkey 3rd and lastly is the category for very lightweight and easy/small folding which can be used for traveling..the travel stroller. Joolz aer+, Bugaboo Butterfly, uppababy minu3, the babyzen Yoyo3, silvercross Jet5.
Love our jet5. Great for travel, easy to maneuver and folds small. The little foot sack is nice for making baby feel snug
Love our Silvercross jet 5 for flights. Amazon has the same sale and you can stack completion discounts.
Looked at the Silver Cross Jet 5? We use it with the regular Pipa rx, not sure if the Urbn has different connecting mechanisms. You have to click adapters in that are sold separately, but I like it, it fits in the overhead, and it was under slightly cheaper than $600.
We borrowed a Silver Cross Jet 5 from some friends for our recent holiday. Worked very well!
we have the silver cross jet 5 and love it
The Silvercross Jet 5 is the best, most luxurious compact travel stroller around. Fits in the overhead of a plane - lays flat for newborns. Perfect!
We went through the same thing before our first trip – lightweight means totally different things between brands. We actually ended up getting the Silver Cross Jet 5 but it does have its downsides. The Babyzen (Stokke) YOYO3 and CYBEX Libelle are both super compact and under 7kg. What you want to check is * Airline size guidelines (55 × 40 × 23 cm as IATA standard, with UK airline variations). * Ideal weight (≤7 kg). I’ve been tracking these for a small UK project called PramPal, so happy to share what’s actually under airline size if that helps!
