Having just purchased a travel stroller, we looked at the stokke yoyo, bugaboo butterfly, uppababy minu v3, silvercross jet 5, and joolz aer -- all comply with most overhead cabin sizing. I would recommend also purchasing the stroller case/carrier so it looks more like a standard carry-on. Some airline staff might make you gate-check regardless of size once they see that it is a stroller. Having the cover/case will reduce that issue.

I got a silver cross jet 5 - light weight (7.5kg), folds up the size of cabin luggage for air travel, I live in a city so I don't really need off roading. Suitable from birth up to 4 years.

Considering that you live in Mexico I wouldn't be so sure about the wheels of Bugaboo Butterfly or especially Silvercross Jet 5 lasting long on uneven pavements. We use travel stroller as a main stroller, but for Mexico (where we used to live) we specifically used bigger wheels as it became annoying getting the stroller stuck all the time.

Love our jet5. Great for travel, easy to maneuver and folds small. The little foot sack is nice for making baby feel snug

The Silvercross Jet 5 is the best, most luxurious compact travel stroller around. Fits in the overhead of a plane - lays flat for newborns. Perfect!

We went through the same thing before our first trip – lightweight means totally different things between brands. We actually ended up getting the Silver Cross Jet 5 but it does have its downsides. The Babyzen (Stokke) YOYO3 and CYBEX Libelle are both super compact and under 7kg. What you want to check is * Airline size guidelines (55 × 40 × 23 cm as IATA standard, with UK airline variations). * Ideal weight (≤7 kg). I’ve been tracking these for a small UK project called PramPal, so happy to share what’s actually under airline size if that helps!

I have it and I have another travel stroller. It’s mostly good with good wheels but I don’t think it lies down flat enough like the other I have ( silvercross jet ) also the basket is def big enough but I find the seat just to be too short and not long enough.

We never used our vista again after babe 2 came. Little got worn and we got a Silver Cross Jet travel for the big. We are heading on our first Disney trip soon and rented the Zoe twin and I’m excited to try it/compare it to how good the silver cross is before committing to the price of the jet double!

We opted for the Silver Cross Wave for everyday and Doona for travel! We will be buying the Silver Cross Jet as a travel stroller when baby outgrows Doona. The Nuna Pipa car seat is compatible with the Silver Cross Wave, we purchased the adapters.

https://www.minirent.is/products/silver-cross-jet Tók þessa á leigu fyrir Frakklandsferð fyrr á árinu... hún er alveg sæmileg. Ef þú vilt ekki kaupa kerru þá er hún alveg fín fyrir nokkra daga, bara ekki besti kostur til að svæfa lappalangt barn í (hentar fyrir yngra en 4 ára barn).  Ef þú vilt splæsa í góða kerru sem má fara í handfarangur þá ættiru að fá þér Bugaboo Buttefly (átti slíka í tæp 2 ár... alveg frábær fjárfesting og góður endursölumarkaður). Myndi byrja á Bugaboo markaðnum á Facebook.

It's not in your list but we have the silver cross jet. An older model than what's available now and we love it. Currently using it on a trip with a 12 month old and 4 year old. Mostly for the 12 month old but also as a seat or quiet time option for the 4 year old. It does fit in the overhead bin for the flights we've done, but none on the airline you mentioned. Though we have also gate checked it where it's brought back to the door of the plane for after the flight.

We like the silver cross jet. We got an older model on FB marketplace which isn't as easy for folding while holding a baby, but the new models are easier.

We ended up with 3 used strollers: - silver cross Wave with bassinet + sit up seat ($500 barely used) - silver cross jet (newborn friendly collapsible travel stroller) $200 - BOB jogging stroller for winter when baby is older $40 If you're willing to shop the used market you could have it all for under $800

Ditto to this! Plus, not having to fold and gate check our UB at the airport was bliss. We have the Silver Cross Jet travel stroller and it’s a dream to fold … and only weighs 12 lbs.

Silver cross travel prams are great as they took over microlite which was essentially a purely travel brand. We have tried travel cod and pram. Both great and compact.

just spent a month researching. my takeaway: Nuna - loved this one the most (mixx or trvl xl) but all of the carseats/accesories make it extra pricey. my fav uber premium option uppababy- i found these all to be kind of rigid and too large. didn't like the vibe but its obvs popular mockingbird - decided on this one and so far love the balance of quality and price point. truly feels strong but also premium, while not being huge, and almost all the features feel obvious instead of buried silver cross - if you really want to go with the most premium it is indeed very nice. graco Modes nest - solid budget option. felt a little on the light/fragile side for me but if lightweight with versatility is important, this one isn't bad at all bugaboo - maybe the one i tried was a janky floor model but i didn't think it was smooth at all. nuna/mock crushed it

Before you decide on the Uppababy…really play with it in person. I felt it was efficient on how it collapse/opens and was still very bulky. I remember there being pinch points when collapsing as well. I was researched and played with Uppababy, Nuna Triv/Swiv/Mixx, and Silver Cross strollers. Ultimately ended up with the Nuna Swiv with no regrets.

Nuna is not worth it. It’s junk that does not wear well at all, and I will never understand the hype. You should get the best stroller you can afford and then look for a car seat that will be compatible with it. Also, look in the fb group “seats for littles” where CPSTS will recommend car seats that work best with your vehicle. If you don’t want to take my word for nuna being junk, that group will back up my opinion 😂. Some of the premium stroller brands are: uppa baby, silver cross, bugaboo. You don’t need to stick with the same brand of car seat, you just need to make sure adapters exist. I personally have a silver cross stroller with a clek car seat.
