We just bought the new silver cross jet double. A bit less expensive than the Nuna travel dbl. and I LOVE it. Super easy to fold and unfold, super lightweight, and my very tall 4.5 yr old fits super well. It’s become my favorite stroller. Highly recommend
r/2under2 • Travel double stroller ->I went to a stroller store yesterday to check out the jet double, uppababy minu duo, Nuna trvl dbl, and bugaboo donkey. I ended up liking the Nuna the best by far and went with that! The silver cross jet double was my second favorite but quality just wasn’t good/ even close to the Nuna. I wanted to love the uppababy but the push was by far the worst and it felt a little too small imo. Bugaboo took way too long to fold down as it’s not a true travel stroller and the seats have to be removed before collapsing. Just sharing in case this helps anyone!
r/Buyingforbaby • Uppababy minu duo or silver cross jet double for toddler and baby?? ->I wish there was somewhere by me to try strollers. It’s So frustrating bc I have to just buy it and return if it doesn’t work haha I think I’m going to get the silver cross because it looks way more ergonomic and I plan to mostly push it around my neighborhood and the car so I’ll be opening and shutting it a lot! I plan to get the silver cross next week so I will update you once I get it!
r/Buyingforbaby • Uppababy minu duo or silver cross jet double for toddler and baby?? ->The silver cross will be delivered tomorrow!! I will let you know how it is once I open it and push it around!
r/Buyingforbaby • Uppababy minu duo or silver cross jet double for toddler and baby?? ->I decided to return the silver cross jet double 😅 the belly bars moved a lot side to side and were lopsided and just felt very cheap. The push wasn’t smooth at all and the basket underneath was completely inaccessible from the back. I thought there would at least be some give in the back but there wasn’t lol. Like 2 inches of space to get in the back. It just felt flimsy and small. I’m not opposed to spending a lot for a nice stroller but honestly don’t think this stroller was worth even half the amount I paid for it lol. Very disappointed😭
r/Buyingforbaby • Uppababy minu duo or silver cross jet double for toddler and baby?? ->We never used our vista again after babe 2 came. Little got worn and we got a Silver Cross Jet travel for the big. We are heading on our first Disney trip soon and rented the Zoe twin and I’m excited to try it/compare it to how good the silver cross is before committing to the price of the jet double!
r/SAHP • Stroller Recommendations for 2 kids ->We opted for the Silver Cross Wave for everyday and Doona for travel! We will be buying the Silver Cross Jet as a travel stroller when baby outgrows Doona. The Nuna Pipa car seat is compatible with the Silver Cross Wave, we purchased the adapters.
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->It's not in your list but we have the silver cross jet. An older model than what's available now and we love it. Currently using it on a trip with a 12 month old and 4 year old. Mostly for the 12 month old but also as a seat or quiet time option for the 4 year old. It does fit in the overhead bin for the flights we've done, but none on the airline you mentioned. Though we have also gate checked it where it's brought back to the door of the plane for after the flight.
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel Stroller Recommendations For 16 Month Old ->We’ve got the silver cross jet, which lays flat and can be folded up and pulled along like a little suitcase
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram ->Have you considered the Silver Cross jet? It’s a smidge over 7kg but so far we’ve had no problems getting it on planes. It fully reclines and has a good canopy
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram recommendations ->We’ve done 13 flights now with the Silver Cross Jet. Put it into the overhead lockers every time
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel stroller ->We like the silver cross jet. We got an older model on FB marketplace which isn't as easy for folding while holding a baby, but the new models are easier.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Travel stroller recommendations [BC] ->We ended up with 3 used strollers: - silver cross Wave with bassinet + sit up seat ($500 barely used) - silver cross jet (newborn friendly collapsible travel stroller) $200 - BOB jogging stroller for winter when baby is older $40 If you're willing to shop the used market you could have it all for under $800
r/Buyingforbaby • Stroller help ->Ditto to this! Plus, not having to fold and gate check our UB at the airport was bliss. We have the Silver Cross Jet travel stroller and it’s a dream to fold … and only weighs 12 lbs.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Buying a travel stroller vs using Uppababy Cruz on trips [on] ->Silver cross travel prams are great as they took over microlite which was essentially a purely travel brand. We have tried travel cod and pram. Both great and compact.
r/UKParenting • The goldilocks travel stroller - does it exist?? ->just spent a month researching. my takeaway: Nuna - loved this one the most (mixx or trvl xl) but all of the carseats/accesories make it extra pricey. my fav uber premium option uppababy- i found these all to be kind of rigid and too large. didn't like the vibe but its obvs popular mockingbird - decided on this one and so far love the balance of quality and price point. truly feels strong but also premium, while not being huge, and almost all the features feel obvious instead of buried silver cross - if you really want to go with the most premium it is indeed very nice. graco Modes nest - solid budget option. felt a little on the light/fragile side for me but if lightweight with versatility is important, this one isn't bad at all bugaboo - maybe the one i tried was a janky floor model but i didn't think it was smooth at all. nuna/mock crushed it
r/beyondthebump • Best stroller/travel system ->Before you decide on the Uppababy…really play with it in person. I felt it was efficient on how it collapse/opens and was still very bulky. I remember there being pinch points when collapsing as well. I was researched and played with Uppababy, Nuna Triv/Swiv/Mixx, and Silver Cross strollers. Ultimately ended up with the Nuna Swiv with no regrets.
r/Buyingforbaby • Looking at all the stroller choices is making me want to pull my hair out! ->Yeah we had a Hauck and while it worked fine, once I tried a Silver Cross I realised the difference in quality. I won't go back to cheap ones. The handling is so much better, the folding and assembly is better, the suspension so he can actually sleep in it when we're out. I walk everywhere as I don't drive, and I realised that if this is our main mode of transportation, it should be one that is worth it. I got a secondhand silver cross on FB Marketplace for about the same as the Hauck cost. I couldn't buy a new one as I can't spend £600-1000 on a pushchair, but if you look around online you can find ones in great condition
r/NewParents • What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco) ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
