"You really appreciate the lightness of them."
"Weight savings is alone is worth. ... I started backpacking in my my Merrell Trail Gloves and probably wont go back. ... for trails I really like the light weight footwear more than boots."
"I got an Air65 and that thing is great"

"can recline flat for newborn (although I’d prob want to wait a little) ... I got the TRVL LX, which has the ability to fully recline into a makeshift bassinet. That was nice, since I didn’t need an add-on bassinet or an attached car seat to have baby sleep in stroller during newborn phase. ... I love the ... full recline of the TRVL LX (no need to add a bassinet attachment for newborn phase) ... When I take my baby out, I’ll usually use the TRVL LX’s bassinet (not a separate bassinet, but full recline that’s safe for newborns). I actually felt more comfortable doing that than having him stay in a carseat for extended periods."
"Then there are 3 positions, one being almost all the way back (so baby is basically laying down) so if you have a young baby, or a baby that likes laying down (like my baby did) then it is perfect!"
"I love it because you can use it from birth. ... The seat turns into a little bassinet type thing."

"We’ve done 13 flights now with the Silver Cross Jet. Put it into the overhead lockers every time"
"It went on 6 different planes, was gate checked for some and carried on for others."
"Also fits in the overhead cabin in airplanes"

"It folds and unfolds easily ... Yep, agreed! I am constantly one-handed loading and unloading it from the car too."
"Yes, I have the same one and I can do it one handed."
"super easy fold so you can throw it in the car ... since the fold is one handed, it makes it a much better car stroller than one you need to two hands for"

"if you also regularly use Bluetooth on the go, then Astro isn for you as the Bluetooth is on the dock and not on the headset ... Astro is definitely not worth the price when the Bluetooth is on the dock. That was a stupid thing to do, because anyone who buys a headset with Bluetooth would want to use the headset away from their set up and Bluetooth on the go"
"I lost 300$ on a50 gen 5,has worked maybe 10 hours totally ... and dock station froze and stayed in xbox mode after a regular software update... ... tried everything i could, believe me..."
"The prices for wireless speakers/subwoofer that sync with a soundbar are outragious. ... 2000€ or more for a sonos arc ultra + sub + 2 rear speakers."

We never used our vista again after babe 2 came. Little got worn and we got a Silver Cross Jet travel for the big. We are heading on our first Disney trip soon and rented the Zoe twin and I’m excited to try it/compare it to how good the silver cross is before committing to the price of the jet double!
r/SAHP • Stroller Recommendations for 2 kids ->just spent a month researching. my takeaway: Nuna - loved this one the most (mixx or trvl xl) but all of the carseats/accesories make it extra pricey. my fav uber premium option uppababy- i found these all to be kind of rigid and too large. didn't like the vibe but its obvs popular mockingbird - decided on this one and so far love the balance of quality and price point. truly feels strong but also premium, while not being huge, and almost all the features feel obvious instead of buried silver cross - if you really want to go with the most premium it is indeed very nice. graco Modes nest - solid budget option. felt a little on the light/fragile side for me but if lightweight with versatility is important, this one isn't bad at all bugaboo - maybe the one i tried was a janky floor model but i didn't think it was smooth at all. nuna/mock crushed it
r/beyondthebump • Best stroller/travel system ->Silver cross travel prams are great as they took over microlite which was essentially a purely travel brand. We have tried travel cod and pram. Both great and compact.
r/UKParenting • The goldilocks travel stroller - does it exist?? ->Before you decide on the Uppababy…really play with it in person. I felt it was efficient on how it collapse/opens and was still very bulky. I remember there being pinch points when collapsing as well. I was researched and played with Uppababy, Nuna Triv/Swiv/Mixx, and Silver Cross strollers. Ultimately ended up with the Nuna Swiv with no regrets.
r/Buyingforbaby • Looking at all the stroller choices is making me want to pull my hair out! ->I went to a stroller store yesterday to check out the jet double, uppababy minu duo, Nuna trvl dbl, and bugaboo donkey. I ended up liking the Nuna the best by far and went with that! The silver cross jet double was my second favorite but quality just wasn’t good/ even close to the Nuna. I wanted to love the uppababy but the push was by far the worst and it felt a little too small imo. Bugaboo took way too long to fold down as it’s not a true travel stroller and the seats have to be removed before collapsing. Just sharing in case this helps anyone!
r/Buyingforbaby • Uppababy minu duo or silver cross jet double for toddler and baby?? ->We opted for the Silver Cross Wave for everyday and Doona for travel! We will be buying the Silver Cross Jet as a travel stroller when baby outgrows Doona. The Nuna Pipa car seat is compatible with the Silver Cross Wave, we purchased the adapters.
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->https://www.minirent.is/products/silver-cross-jet Tók þessa á leigu fyrir Frakklandsferð fyrr á árinu... hún er alveg sæmileg. Ef þú vilt ekki kaupa kerru þá er hún alveg fín fyrir nokkra daga, bara ekki besti kostur til að svæfa lappalangt barn í (hentar fyrir yngra en 4 ára barn). Ef þú vilt splæsa í góða kerru sem má fara í handfarangur þá ættiru að fá þér Bugaboo Buttefly (átti slíka í tæp 2 ár... alveg frábær fjárfesting og góður endursölumarkaður). Myndi byrja á Bugaboo markaðnum á Facebook.
r/Iceland • Ferðakerrur í flug ->The Silver Cross Jet does!!
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel stroller decision fatigue - help wanted! ->I wish there was somewhere by me to try strollers. It’s So frustrating bc I have to just buy it and return if it doesn’t work haha I think I’m going to get the silver cross because it looks way more ergonomic and I plan to mostly push it around my neighborhood and the car so I’ll be opening and shutting it a lot! I plan to get the silver cross next week so I will update you once I get it!
r/Buyingforbaby • Uppababy minu duo or silver cross jet double for toddler and baby?? ->The silver cross will be delivered tomorrow!! I will let you know how it is once I open it and push it around!
r/Buyingforbaby • Uppababy minu duo or silver cross jet double for toddler and baby?? ->I decided to return the silver cross jet double 😅 the belly bars moved a lot side to side and were lopsided and just felt very cheap. The push wasn’t smooth at all and the basket underneath was completely inaccessible from the back. I thought there would at least be some give in the back but there wasn’t lol. Like 2 inches of space to get in the back. It just felt flimsy and small. I’m not opposed to spending a lot for a nice stroller but honestly don’t think this stroller was worth even half the amount I paid for it lol. Very disappointed😭
r/Buyingforbaby • Uppababy minu duo or silver cross jet double for toddler and baby?? ->It's not in your list but we have the silver cross jet. An older model than what's available now and we love it. Currently using it on a trip with a 12 month old and 4 year old. Mostly for the 12 month old but also as a seat or quiet time option for the 4 year old. It does fit in the overhead bin for the flights we've done, but none on the airline you mentioned. Though we have also gate checked it where it's brought back to the door of the plane for after the flight.
