ALRIGHTY EVERYONE!!! I got the Nia in today and compared it side by side with my Joolz Aer2 (I have had the OG Aer and Aer+ in the past) and the Uppababy Minu V3. I only allow myself to keep 2 travel strollers at any one time and so I will be saying goodbye to the Minu V3! Here’s the lowdown… What Nia does the best: best seat liner, best looking, self-folding belly bar, highest handle height, straightest seat, biggest basket, easiest/best recline, easy to attach the car seat adapters Where Nia could improve: wheel quality, you need to recline seat a bit to fold, fold isn’t as tidy/compact, would be better with storage bag, would prefer a single handed leg rest adjustment, magnetic buckle is finicky and harness is hard to adjust, sun canopy is smaller than competitors and the peekaboo window is only on the extension panel you need to unzip, fabric feels great but I worry about longevity What Joolz Aer2 does the best: best push, best sun coverage, best fold (seriously cannot be beat), most comfortable shoulder strap, best wheel quality, best harness, most durable feeling fabric, comes with storage bag, best warranty (10 year transferable) What Joolz Aer2 could improve: the recline mechanism (especially when using for newborn/ with car seat), self-folding belly bar, tidiness of seat fabrics (just look a bit mangled), sturdiness of leg rest, size of basket, car seat adapters are difficult to put on and use since you need seat to be reclined, no peekaboo window What Minu V3 does best: best customer service, real leather handle covers, best brake system, best leg rest, best peekaboo window, adjustable crotch buckle What Minu V3 could improve: upright seat angle, fabric quality, front wheel design (they get stuck and click a lot), push, fold (I have had issues with the latching mechanism, don’t love the seat liner on the exterior, and the back wheels stain the seat back when folded), car seat adapters are difficult to put on, weight, colorways, awkward shoulder strap, would be better with storage bag Anything else I can compare for anyone?

Silver cross cove is fantastic. I spent weeks looking into it, bought the cybex balios then the cove came out so I returned the cybex. We bought the cove with the glide 360 car seat. We have ended up getting the recently released silver cross nia as a travel pram which is great too - works with the car seat etc. The things that ticked the boxes for the cove for me: - big wheels with good suspension and proper tread - really quick fold mechanism (some of them seem to be designed by people who hate their users) - wheels can be removed and cleaned - compatibility with a car seat that could spin on a base - partner liked the brand and the colour options

I went and tried a Silver Cross Nia in store yesterday and decided to order it (Chocolate color) over the Aer 2 and Butterfly 2. Our baby is 8 months old, London living. Initial impressions - smooth ride, quality materials, nice seat, quick fold, huge basket, easy to recline where needed, lightweight, airline approved Fyi we had a Joolz Hub2 that failed twice in 8 months (once the folding mechanism, once the wheels - both times replaced) plus it was heavy for 1st floor flat so we decided to switch from it to smth lighter. Also we liked the accessories bundle for Silvercross Nia, will buy that also. Note: also have a Cybex Orfeo bought as emergency which is super light and smooth but wanted something higher quality (and we weren't fans of the seat). Keen to get your thoughts on Nia when you get it 😁

We have the trvl for keeping in the car and popping out with the baby and the vista for neighborhood walks. I love them both for their different functions! I will say, when I was a nanny and one of the families I was with for a long time had me keep their silver cross travel stroller with me for the baby. It was fine for walking outside but we had to replace the wheels way more frequently than their big stroller because they aren’t meant for too much outdoor walking.

just spent a month researching. my takeaway: Nuna - loved this one the most (mixx or trvl xl) but all of the carseats/accesories make it extra pricey. my fav uber premium option uppababy- i found these all to be kind of rigid and too large. didn't like the vibe but its obvs popular mockingbird - decided on this one and so far love the balance of quality and price point. truly feels strong but also premium, while not being huge, and almost all the features feel obvious instead of buried silver cross - if you really want to go with the most premium it is indeed very nice. graco Modes nest - solid budget option. felt a little on the light/fragile side for me but if lightweight with versatility is important, this one isn't bad at all bugaboo - maybe the one i tried was a janky floor model but i didn't think it was smooth at all. nuna/mock crushed it

Silver cross travel prams are great as they took over microlite which was essentially a purely travel brand. We have tried travel cod and pram. Both great and compact.

I went with the Silver Cross stroller and Clek car seat. I’m not delivering my baby until Monday, so mostly I have just used the stroller for training my dog to walk next to it. But I will say that thing is STURDY and beautiful. The car seat is installed and also seems extremely safe. I’m happy with both so far and love the non toxic materials. The stroller might be a little bulky for errands going in and out of the car a lot, so I may opt to baby wear.

Before you decide on the Uppababy…really play with it in person. I felt it was efficient on how it collapse/opens and was still very bulky. I remember there being pinch points when collapsing as well. I was researched and played with Uppababy, Nuna Triv/Swiv/Mixx, and Silver Cross strollers. Ultimately ended up with the Nuna Swiv with no regrets.

Nuna is not worth it. It’s junk that does not wear well at all, and I will never understand the hype. You should get the best stroller you can afford and then look for a car seat that will be compatible with it. Also, look in the fb group “seats for littles” where CPSTS will recommend car seats that work best with your vehicle. If you don’t want to take my word for nuna being junk, that group will back up my opinion 😂. Some of the premium stroller brands are: uppa baby, silver cross, bugaboo. You don’t need to stick with the same brand of car seat, you just need to make sure adapters exist. I personally have a silver cross stroller with a clek car seat.
