I actually have a yoyo for travel! I love it! My only complaint is the storage basket is pretty small! Otherwise it’s the best lol.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • BEST STROLLER/BASSINET/CARSEAT COMBO FOR 1st TIME MOM IN TORONTO? [on] ->Having just purchased a travel stroller, we looked at the stokke yoyo, bugaboo butterfly, uppababy minu v3, silvercross jet 5, and joolz aer -- all comply with most overhead cabin sizing. I would recommend also purchasing the stroller case/carrier so it looks more like a standard carry-on. Some airline staff might make you gate-check regardless of size once they see that it is a stroller. Having the cover/case will reduce that issue.
r/NewParents • Best Overhead Compartment Airplane Stroller ->I have the yoyo which is compatible with the nuna pipa car seat, this is the combination we use both for travel and day to day use since it’s so light and comfortable!
r/beyondthebump • Talk me into (or out of) the Doona for upcoming travel! ->I got the stokke stroller because it looked cool haha and then used it like ten times and only used our doona. I wouldn’t buy a fancy expensive stroller again!
r/BabyBumps • Stuck between Nuna and Uppababy ->They’re not as popular in North America, but we have the yoyo by stokke and we adore it. So small and so sturdy. Folding takes a minute to learn. But airlines recognize it instantly and you do not get hassled.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Best lightweight travel stroller? [Ca] [BC] ->I had a Yoyo and hated it, so got an Aer instead. I’m a lot happier with the Aer.
r/Buyingforbaby • Stroller help ->Just a head’s up - I’ve heard a lot of rough things about Nuna strollers lately and how their customer service is handling it at the moment, so even though I think their Triv stroller would work for you I’d avoid it I think. There have been a few posts about it in this sub lately. I have Nuna car seats though and have been happy with them and customer service, personally, but their strollers seem to be an afterthought and not the same quality from what I gather. **Based on what you’re looking for, I’d seriously consider the Stokke Yoyo or the Bugaboo Dragonfly.** I don’t know that the Yoyo’s newborn attachment/bassinet is safe sleep friendly for in the house (I’d reach out and confirm with the manufacturer), but we used the Bugaboo bassinet in the house and as long as you use their stand it’s safe sleep certified. We have a Bugaboo Fox 5 which is probably too big for you, and a Bugaboo Butterfly should be showing up at my door any minute. We have been *incredibly* pleased with our Fox 5 and have high hopes for the Butterfly. It would be a great stroller for air travel for you as it fits in the overhead bin, but it wouldn’t have a bassinet and it doesn’t parent face. If you’d like to save a little money, check for open box deals on GoodBuyGear OR if you’re ready to buy soon grab the 20% discount code from Target - both the Yoyo and Dragonfly are eligible. You need to scan the code to your Target app this week I think (you do not need to trade in a seat to be eligible), but I think the coupon lasts for a few more weeks. We used it on the Butterfly we just ordered. 🙂
r/Buyingforbaby • Mid-size or travel stroller for "one and done"? ->Same! The internet talked me into the YOYO and it sucks. Love my Joolz Aer!
r/Buyingforbaby • Stroller help ->I think there’s a few things here: 1. Part of what makes stroller shopping so hard is the attempt to “have it all.” Realistically no stroller will truly do it all. Once you find comfort in knowing what it needs to do for you, you can rest a little easier and ignore what doesn’t apply. 2. Personally I decided that I wanted to prioritize lightweight & infant compatibility without using the car seat, so I narrowed down to that “cohort” (yoyo, bugaboo butterfly, joolz aer +, nuna trvl) 3. Once I narrowed it down I used some desktop research to eliminate (eg too much bad reviews on yo-yo for me) but the biggest driver at this point was interacting with the strollers in store! On paper I could have spent forever trying to debate Bugaboo and Joolz. In store — the stroller picked me. For whatever reason I kept crashing the bugaboo and had no problems with Joolz. In conclusion- half the battle is defining your criteria half the battle is going in person to see for yourself and then after that it’s just sticking to your convictions as you keep getting bombarded with marketing and advice where people apply their own needs and declare their choice the end all be all! You got this!!
r/Buyingforbaby • Stroller help ->Yep! Yoyo is the answer! Got it before a Europe trip and it’s so great. A couple trips ago I forgot it at home and spent the first afternoon buying a used one on fb marketplace. My baby, now toddler, has always napped great in it and it’s light enough I could haul stroller and baby up and down stairs solo. Side note, if you’re planning a Europe trip. Half the reason I prefer Europe to domestic US travel is skipping the car seat and taking trains/buses/metro/just walking everywhere! So I know the yoyo is compatible with some car seats but I never took advantage of that.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Best travel stroller for Europe ->We have the stokke yoyo. Fits overhead and is the lightest to carry.
r/NewParents • Best Overhead Compartment Airplane Stroller ->We have rented a yoyo for our holiday this week to see if we want to buy a yoyo! So far it’s good but to me it feels sooo tiny (our normal pram is a huge travel system thing). We used a company called Thursdays child if you also want to try before you buy
r/UKParenting • YOYO3 vs Joolz Aer: Which Travel Stroller is Best for Holiday? ->Can’t really compare, but I have the yoyo and just took it on an overseas trip and it was great. You can fit larger things underneath if you load from the side (unclip the loop on one side). We had a day of being out in torrential rain and the rain cover held up well. Well balanced so it doesn’t tip easily. Handy to be able to fold the back half down when in a busy cafe so you aren’t taking up so much space. No issues taking it as carry on. We use it a lot at home for cafes and when we go out in the car and don’t want to fill the boot. It doesn’t go super flat but baby napped fine. The City Joggers look like they function more like a full size pram but maybe too big for carry on? (Not sure, just surprised if they did). ETA: bought my yoyo secondhand
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Stroller advice ->A BOB running stroller is better for the bumps, but the Yoyo folds down to nothing and makes it better for going to restaurants or other places where you want to stow away your stroller quickly and without a ton of bulk. Those are my top pics. Uppababy is overrated and more of a status symbol IMO. A BOB or a Yoyo is more functional.
r/AskChicago • Parents of Chicago - what strollers do you swear by for walking these bumpy sidewalks ? ->Stokke Yoyo. It does very well on cobblestone (also checks off your other requirements) and you’ll likely see many when you’re over there!
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Best travel stroller for Europe ->We have both a vista and a yoyo3. We originally got just the vista and the yoyo was gifted to us. It really depends on your lifestyle. The vista isn’t the most compact, but it’s so incredibly sturdy and well made that if you’re going to be walking around most days it’s an excellent choice, especially second hand. I’m 5’2” and I have no trouble whatsoever navigating with it. The basket is honestly fantastic for storage and the baby is super comfy with it. I walk outside with baby a minimum of 45 mins every day, usually closer to an hour and a half and the vista can just handle everything. I also saw you’re due in January - we bought a Sherpa lined baby sleeping bag thing that goes with it and my daughter is super toasty in that. We also used the bassinet when she was smaller as another safe nap spot and it was very convenient to be able to not have to wake baby up when she fell asleep in her bassinet on a walk! That being said, it is on the bigger side and we always planned on getting a travel stroller (possibly the minu) secondhand for airports etc. We were then unexpectedly gifted the yoyo and we love it as well. It’s really convenient to have a stroller that folds up so small and light (15lbs!). It makes it much easier for me to get baby to appointments etc when I have to be in and out of a car all day. We just leave that one in our car so it’s not taking up extra space in our house. But when we tried it on a long walk it is just nowhere as sturdy as the vista, can’t handle curbs/rough roads or sidewalks as well (wheels are much smaller) and overall doesn’t feel as solid. If it’s possible I’d say get both. Good quality strollers are often available secondhand. If you can’t, and you’re a big walker/outdoors person then focus on a good reliable stroller like the vista. Snuggle bugz/ wck will have sales at some point, you just have to keep an eye out for them. I know some people get theirs with Black Friday deals for 15% off. We lucked out at and snagged one for 30% off back in April this year, but I think 15-25% off is more likely.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller/Travel System recommendations for FTM, baby due early January [ON] ->Second this. I use our yoyo3 with newborn pack everyday. The fold never really bothered me even with a Csection
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel Stroller from birth ->I used the Yoyo3 with a newborn pack and it was very convenient
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel stroller for a small 6 month old recommendation? ->I love the Yoyo and we’ve taken it in dozens of trips around the world. It’s great except on cobblestone. The front wheels are too small and get stuck between the stones.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Best travel stroller for Europe ->We’re on holiday with our yoyo3 now! No problems taking it on the plane; I wish it reclined a bit more. Doesn’t go over gravel well. Handles well on paved surfaces.
r/UKParenting • YOYO3 vs Joolz Aer: Which Travel Stroller is Best for Holiday? ->Won’t help for the jogging (maybe get a very cheap beat up second hand one) but putting in a reccomendation for the Stokke YoYo. Folds up to nothing, can put it in a back pack, has a bassinet attachment, and you can by car seat attachments for some of the major car seats (I have the maxi cosi). I travel a lot for work and like to take baby with me so bought the YoYo and now I don’t use anything else
r/BabyBumps • Am I being naive in wanting an absolute UNICORN of a stroller? Or do I just need to accept that I actually need three strollers? ->Also have only one stroller which is the Yoyo which is a travel stroller. Honestly it’s been amazing, it’s so light and I used the newborn insert and then the 6 month plus pack. I’ve used it on some rough terrain and even through grass and it does well! I bought it based on weight and compactness (barely takes up space in the car). I haven’t even thought about getting a second one honestly
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Moms, what attracted you to buy that stroller? ->We have the Stokke YoYo, it’s so small and light! We’ve taken it in the overhead bin and also gate checked it (some airlines won’t let you take it on board even if it fits, especially if the flight is full and overhead bin space is limited). I like that it pushes nicely with one hand (so you can pull a suitcase, open doors, etc). It has a small basket but most table strollers do, and the seat cushion comes right off so it can be thrown in the wash! So nice for when your baby is covered in greasy sunscreen and tons of snack crumbs.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Travel Stroller Recommendations [ON] ->The vista is a very wide and heavy stroller! Definitely would opt for at least the Cruz if you really are set on it. We live in London and use the Stokke Yoyo
r/beyondthebump • Best stroller/travel system ->We have the aer and I love how it folds one handed I went to shop to buy the yoyo but after testing both I preferred the aer For the cost it’s worth going for a road test That being said everytime I bring pram on as carry on they ask if it’s a yoyo and they seem to think only yoyo are allowed on plane but no one has ever stopped me and we fly roughly once a month
r/UKParenting • YOYO3 vs Joolz Aer: Which Travel Stroller is Best for Holiday? ->I think it’s more about head/neck control than size fit with these strollers. I was debating between these 3 strollers myself! I bought a yoyo3 because it’s super compact and should be cabin friendly, but it also has adapters for an infant car seat if we’re going anywhere before baby has better control of his neck or if we just have quick trips where we want to have a more nimble stroller while home.
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel stroller for a small 6 month old recommendation? ->I’m due in March and got a Nuna Mixx for daily use and walks and a yoyo3 for plane travel
r/Buyingforbaby • 2 Strollers?! ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
