Agree- I actually have all 3! Got the vista and urban glide used for less than $400 combined. I liked the vista for the first 6-9 months for self facing//errands/cozy winter ganoosh but LOVED and continue to love the urban glide for older baby and toddler. Such a smooth ride and gets over curbs, snow, ice, trails, etc. But definitely think of where you are storing/how big your trunk is. We’re lucky to have a covered porch but have compact cars.
r/NewParents • Strollers - what did you wish you knew before you bought? ->Thule Urban Glide Younger one is 3, so probably last days for ours, but had it since our first, probably 2000+ miles, still going strong
r/daddit • My wife has a crazy addiction to buying strollers. So we’ve tried em all. ->I have an uppababy Minu v3 - newborn lie-flat without any attachments - can clip in car seat for travel system - compact for car trunks and airplane carry on bins and a Thule Urbanglide 3 - bassinet attachment for early months - jogging stroller when baby is old enough - super smooth suspension for long walks Love this combo!
r/Buyingforbaby • Stroller options ->Oh wow I have the urban glide 3 and I’m literally on the hunt for a lightweight one now. I love the Thule but it’s just too bulky for shopping, ect.
r/NewParents • Strollers - what did you wish you knew before you bought? ->Our stroller roster, in order of importance: 1. Uppababy system which goes from bassinet seat, to carseat, to toddler seat, to toddler piggyback board. Bases go from one to 3 attachments as your family grows. We especially love this system for traveling away from home because they make a frame that folds ultra compact, and the carseat moves from the stroller to the rental car. The best for walking in the city, park, Museum, and sporting events. 2. Thule for jogging, biking, and cross-country skiing. This is the best for off-road in dirt or snow. 3. Babytrend stroller wagon, for dragging all our shit to the park or the beach. Not the best for transporting children, but definitely the best for transporting all their toys and chairs and snacks. Also our favorite for trick-or-treating, as we usually dress it up to go with our costumes.
r/Parenting • Stroller Wagons Worth the Hype? ->We recently got this one too & really like it! It's so smooth & the only stroller we tested that I can actually imagine running with, even as baby gets bigger. If it's possible, you can look to see if any of the fancier baby stores near you have options for you to try out IRL. We did this & it was really helpful to feel the difference in person. If you do end up buying it for yourself, I recommend waiting until it goes on sale on Amazon & combining that with your 15 percent registry discount on top of that. I was able to do this on one of Amazon's recent sales & got the single Thule Urban Glide 3 for less than $500 this way. Also it's worth knowing that you can't actually run with baby in it until they're minimum 6 months old, but they have attachments you can buy if you're planning on using it as a stroller for walking before then. For what it's worth, our baby loved being in the carrier when he fresh, so 95 percent of our walks in the first 6 months ended up being in the carrier anyway & we barely used a stroller before then!
r/fitpregnancy • Best jogging stroller that could also be an everyday one? Good with trails also! ->The one's we used the most are the single and double Thule jogging strollers with our two boys. Mostly just around the neighborhood walking trips, but they have been awesome. We had a smaller Uppababy one that folded up pretty small when we needed to go places in the car.
r/daddit • My wife has a crazy addiction to buying strollers. So we’ve tried em all. ->The Thule Urban Glide 3 would be a great option! I have it and it's great for gravel, trails, etc with the nice big wheels. You can get the bassinet attachment as well as the attachment to have your car seat on it.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller Recommendations [on] ->Whatever set up you end up with, I’d recommend buying a rain cover as it completely blocks out all wind, rain and snow which allows you to still get outside and fresh air when the weather is crummy. For me it feels so good to get out of the house and not have any barriers to do so. I have the Thule urban glide 3, which is a very smooth ride if you live in a place with variable terrain. For me the full size stroller was fine because we barely ever load it into the car given we live in a small town with high walk ability.
r/NewParents • Strollers - what did you wish you knew before you bought? ->Personally I think if price isn't concern, go with the Thule Urban Glide 3 and attachment for bassinet and/or car seat. My MIL got us the Thule urban glide 2 kids back and it's still in amazing shape for baby number 3. It goes on literally ANY surface so easily and is insanely simple to fold up and operate. One handed driving through deep grass, sand, rocks? No problem. It's a jogging type stroller so it is very stable and easy to maneuver even at higher speeds if you are into jogging. Mine is the older version of course and it didn't have the option for bassinet or car seat back then but I'm hoping I can get the accessories this time around bc that would be amazing. That being said, it's not cheap. At all. We would have NEVER bought it for ourselves so we are lucky to have in laws that like to buy the best. 😅
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->We have the Thule Urban Glide with the infant attachment and we love it! We live in the foothills of a mountain and it is perfect for all terrain! My baby is 10 months so we have taken her on several walks and several runs with it and we always enjoy it! To answer your last question- we have more strollers than we ever thought we were going to have 🤦🏻♀️ but it is completely not necessary. If I were to do it all over, the Thule with infant seat attachment and a travel stroller is all you need. We have the uppababy, Thule, Doona, and now looking for an easily collapsible and condensed stroller for travel. Completely dumb on our part because we didn’t know.
r/fitpregnancy • Stroller options: jogging stroller for everyday use as well? ->I agree with this. The only downside was that it is wide, so I remember it being hard to maneuver through small store aisles.
r/fitpregnancy • Best jogging stroller that could also be an everyday one? Good with trails also! ->Thule urban glide system 😍😍
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->I have a Thule urban glide and it is quite large folded up. To fit it in the back of my Subaru Crosstrek I really had to wedge it with a seat down. That being said, it’s great and so easy to push and use! It’s a very smooth ride. My baby prefers it to our hand me down Uppababy Cruz. Edit, the Cruz fits much easier in the back of the car
r/BabyBumps • 1 Stroller To Rule Them All? Thule Urban Glide3 vs. Bob Wayfinder vs. Guava Roam, etc. ->Love love love my Thule Urban Glide with bassinet. It's not a great everyday stroller but we have a little carseat caddy stroller from marketplace, and primarily use this one. Once she outgrows the bucket seat we plan to switch the caddy out for an umbrella stroller.
r/BabyBumps • Am I being naive in wanting an absolute UNICORN of a stroller? Or do I just need to accept that I actually need three strollers? ->Thule urban glide and never go back
r/NewParents • What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco) ->We have this model as well and while I have a litany of mixed thoughts on it, I want to double check that you know/remember from first assembly that the rear wheels are super easy to pop off... The center of the hub is a button that let's them come out, saving a little space. 🤜🤛
r/daddit • Wife is 15 weeks - went down a stroller rabbit hole… ->My wife prefers the Thule urban glide so we have one for her car and I have a bob. I prefer the bob because it is easier to fold up and feels more sturdy. The Thule rides better but it’s awkward to open and close.
r/daddit • My wife has a crazy addiction to buying strollers. So we’ve tried em all. ->Seconding the Thule Urban Glide. I don't jog but we do live in an area with a ton of trails, no sidewalks, and mostly unpaved roads. We used it 2-3x/day for the first 2 years until the little guy wanted to start walking on his own. We never had an issue with it - smooth ride, easy to put in the car, tons of storage, kid loved it. We go to LA a lot for family and quickly learned that the Thule was way, way better for city life since it handled sharp curbs, bumpy sidewalks, gum in the road, etc. FWIW I did buy another 'compact' stroller for traveling, I can't remember the name but it resembled the ErgoBaby Metro. It wasn't a dud, exactly, but lets say we kept it in the back of the car for library/museum/zoo adventures and rarely used it otherwise.
r/fitpregnancy • Best jogging stroller that could also be an everyday one? Good with trails also! ->Yes, I told my husband when I was pregnant that I would only ever buy this one stroller - and almost 3 years later it is still perfect! I got the Thule urban glide. It literally does everything I need it to.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Moms, what attracted you to buy that stroller? ->Thule urban glide? I only have the single but I know they have the double version. We’ve been walking all over our local golf course the last week or so and it’s done great off road/on gravel and grass. Really love the twist hand break when going down steeper hills.
r/Buyingforbaby • All terrain travel stroller? ->I have the Minu V3 as a primary. We walk 2-3 miles a day with it and LOVE it. I also bought the Thule running stroller with a bassinet attachment and use the V3 far more. My newborn feels more snug in it because of the straps and her head doesn’t bounce as much when I hit a bump in the sidewalk.
r/Buyingforbaby • Uppababy Minu V3 or Nuna TRVL LX for everyday stroller? ->We have the Thule Urban Glide (single and double) and love it! Hubby and I are both runners and it’s such a smooth ride. Even the double. I think paid ~$750 for it in 2020. Edit to add: $750 for the single
r/fitpregnancy • Best jogging stroller that could also be an everyday one? Good with trails also! ->Thule urban glide is awesome, I love running w it.
r/fitpregnancy • Best jogging stroller that could also be an everyday one? Good with trails also! ->I prefer big pneumatic wheels because we do some trails and the sidewalks near us might as well be trails. We have a Thule Urban Glide and love it, only issue is it takes up a lot of room in the car. I’ve thought about getting a smaller one for the car for when we are in stores or smoother sidewalks in the city.
r/daddit • Wife is 15 weeks - went down a stroller rabbit hole… ->Love air filled tires on cobblestone. We use our Thule for those conditions.
r/toddlers • Best Stroller for tall 2 year old for Europe/ cobblestone ->I’d get a Thule for the snow
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller Choice is Overwhelming - would LOVE some guidance on a FTM stroller for urban areas [qc] ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
