Nah, uppababy cruz is perfect. We have the V2 and travel the world with it as well, with 3 kids now and the skateboard. The first one started having issues from overuse so we bought a 2nd hand one as well.

We've got the Cruz V2 and love it. We only have 1 stroller. We used it at Disney World and Universal, it was great for mid-afternoon naps. We got an infant car seat used from my sister after our niece got upgraded to a convertible car seat, so we bought the adapter for the stroller. Worked great!

The Cruz V2 is a bit more affordable than the Vista V3. It's the one we've got and it's great! Handles like a dream. One of my sisters has a Graco and the other an Evenflo and they complain so much about them, especially after trying out mine. But they're also in the state of mind that they don't want to buy ANOTHER stroller when technically they've got a decent one already. Get the one that you want, that you can afford, for the lifestyle you want to have with baby. If you're not going to use it a whole lot, a more affordable option or more travel friendly option would be great! If you're going to walk up to a grocery store and want a basket that can hold 50lbs, get the Uppababy.

If your baby is already 11 months old, I’d suggest you to get a luxury travel stroller. I have both Uppababy Cruz and Babyzen Yoyo. We stopped using the Cruz after first year and switch to YoYo.

Second hand is the way to go. Also, you’re going to use the travel stroller 99% of the time if you live in a city. Full sized strollers are just too hard to navigate. I bought a UB Cruz and a Minu and the Minu is always our go-to.

I had someone recommend 2 strollers and I thought they were out of their mind. I fought it and got the Nuna trvl and Pipa. I loved it. However, baby LOVED going on long walks. Not necessarily great in the Nuna combo, but now I know the new version (lx) flat. I still debate though because it’s not as smooth as a ride and truly designed for quick errands and airport travel (which it works great for). So at about 2 months I started looking for a bigger stroller because of the long walks. I went with the Cruz V2 and got the car seat attachment (through Nuna - NOT UB) for it. I thought, “wtf am I doing?! This is ridiculous!! I hate that I’m spending this money on this if we don’t use it that often.” This sucker is now my everyday. I really only use the Nuna when we travel for the weekends because we need more trunk space or airport travel. The UB is way sturdier, handles more of my day-to-day bs (I’m rough with stuff), steers nicely, isn’t too heavy (but does take up a considerable amount of space & some airlines do not allow you to gate check it), and the basket is FREAKING GREAT. I’ve really put it to the test with weight capacity. Moral of the story: my friend was right. If you can afford it, go for 2. One light for travel and one for everyday use. As for the car seat, having a true infant one has been great so I don’t wake up my LO when napping. For the most part, we don’t stop our days for napping. The LO is either strapped to us or in the car seat if we’re on the go. The infant seat allows our LO to continue sleeping without being disturbed. With that said, the LO is now getting heavier (7 months) and we just bought the chicco 360 zip. We’re excited to use it come August, maybe? I’m literally waiting until she reaches the height/weight limit of the Nuna Pipa before switching. That’s how much we like the convenience of the infant seat. Chicco usually has 20% off sales. I think they’re having one now for Father’s Day.

Honestly, I had a friend sit me down because I had a similar wishlist and she told me sometimes it’s best to have 2 strollers - one for the quick trips (easy fold, pavement/sidewalks), and one for the longer trips (a little bigger, trails with grass/dirt/or minor roughness, etc.). I didn’t listen to her and went solely for the Nuna Trvl. I wish I did listen to her now that baby is here. I ended up buying myself (instead of putting it on my registry) the Uppababy Cruz V2. I love this stroller more than the Trvl. It handles more of my day-to-day bs and feels sturdier. It’s great in grass and for quick trips with the car seat attachment. If I was to do it differently, I’d either put both strollers on my registry or go with the Nuna Triv because it seems to be the middle between the two.

Since the v3 Cruz is coming out you may be able to get a deal on the v2. That happened with the vista v2 when they phased that out. Also if you buy new you get the extended warranty and I heard uppababy is good with that kind of stuff. I have the Cruz and so far it’s good. I do feel like the buckle is a little difficult at times and sometimes the brake sticks but overall it’s good. I live in the suburbs and haven’t really had to take it anywhere yet other than my neighborhood so I can’t provide insight on how it is to take it in and out of the car but the suspension is descent. My neighborhood is a lot of hills and it’s good for that. I also have a minu v3 but I haven’t used it yet. I bought that for travel when the time comes but that one has a decent size basket which is what appealed to me.

I'm 5 months into using the cruz+mesa v2 as my daily stroller and carseat and have no complaints, although I haven't ever used another one. I use it all the time shopping, restaurants, even some trails. It can be tight in some restaurants but since our LO isn't in a high chair yet it's kind of the only option so we are just aware of the size and layout of the restaurant. I also tend to avoid small boutique shops but I would avoid those with any stroller. I can't imagine living without the ability to put the bucket seat into the stroller frame. I don't use it for walks but to whip into the grocery store it's so much better especially if he's sleeping. It does take up most of my trunk but at this point I go everywhere with it and that hasn't bothered me. I do think it's a bit big for travel though so we bought a travel one on Black Friday but it hasn't gotten here yet so I can't comment.

I think the biggest thing I didn’t know was that my kid would want to face me instead of look outward. She would just cry and get overwhelmed. Still likes seeing me at 18 months. I originally got a Minu V2 bc I wanted just one stroller, but that only faces out. Got a used free Cruz V2 which can face out or in. It is the perfect everyday stroller, much more manageable size than Vista and even though it is big for travel we take it bc kid is more comfortable in it than the minu. Also Uppababy is great if you need new parts/customer service/refurb. The free used Cruz needed some parts replaced and it was really easy with Uppababy bc you can just order any part from any model pretty much.

I love my Cruz because we do walk A LOT around the neighborhood. 2-3 hours a day. It was so helpful in the winter when we had to navigate some rough icy terrain. It fits well between isles in the stores, I can push it with one hand. The only thing I didn’t like it was the way you can only change the way baby is facing and how it takes up all my car trunk.

We lived in the city with our first and I used our stroller (Cruz V2) daily for 4-6km walks, rain, sun or snow. I opted against the Vista as friends who had it complained about its size and although it converts to a double, it’s not an ideal configuration (baby ends up on the bottom). By 18 months, my kiddo was over the stroller and we didn’t have a second until she was closer to 3 and would have never used it as a double. We borrowed a bassinet and bought the Snugseat insert to use the stroller seat from early on. I found the bassinet annoying to lug around vs the Snugseat added to the seat to use from birth. Can’t recommend it enough. The V2 model was upgraded to be similar to the Vista V2 (bigger wheels, basket etc). If looking on Marketplace, ensure it’s the V2 model as the original Cruz is smaller all around. Edited to add - our stroller looks pretty much brand new after 3 yrs of use. My cousin had an Evenflo or Graco and I remember noticing the handles already had wear/tear after 6 months. The Uppababy’s also have decent resale.

Ahh we love our Cruz. Our car seat is Uppa baby and we got a bassinet attachment off marketplace so everything is compatible and easy to click in and out without attachments. We are suburban, but walk frequently and find that the basket is a game changer. On warmer days our dog can fit in the basket if she gets tired, or if we walk to the farmer’s market I can load that up with produce etc. I also take the stroller grocery shopping and can fit a hand cart underneath to keep the stroller clean from leaks or spills. I’ve literally done BJ’s trips with only the stroller and fit everything we needed under there! My only regret so far is a bottle warmer. Our LO will take her milk however she can get it so a warmer was unnecessary.

We loved the Cruz V2! We used it with the Clek Liing car seat and it worked out great. We just had to buy the separate adapters but chose it over the Mesa because I kept reading that seat gets outgrown early. I also just got a cheap Uppababy bassinet off marketplace and we mainly used that for the newborn period. The car seat compatibility and ability to transfer baby to stroller sounds great until you have a baby that never sleeps in the car anyways 🙃 So we ended up using the bassinet quite a bit in the beginning as it was more comfortable for baby than the car seat. We did travel with it quite a bit and it was never an issue for airlines or anything :)

Unfortunately I think it's going to be hard to tick all of the boxes :( If you want to have something that's comfortable for snow and rougher terrain (i.e. not just the city sidewalks) then a jogging stroller would be good. But those are usually not lightweight or compact and most can only face forward. I personally have multiple strollers because what I need for walks/park/long outings is different from what I need when running quick errands. One thing I'd suggest though is to just tough it out with the infant seat for now... In a few months you won't want to carry that infant seat around anyway and baby won't be comfortable staying in the car seat attached to stroller either. With that said, here's my experience with a few strollers.... Uppababy cruz v2: love it!!! It's a bit more compact than the vista so a bit easier to maneuver. Baby was always happy in it. Doesn't come with a bassinet so we bought a cheap second hand one on marketplace. After about 4 months old we just switched to the regular seat. They have attachments for many different infant car seats. We used clek and it worked perfectly. We usually took her out of the car seat and used the bassinet/stroller seat though. Doesn't convert to a double but our plan was to buy the skateboard attachment for bigger kid once second one comes along. Jokes on us... Second time around we had twins 😅 Bumbleride Indie: we have the twin version but there is also a single version which has basically the same features. The seat converts to bassinet but only faces forward. Maneuvers great! No problems going "off-roading" lol. You can buy a skateboard attachment for this one too but it doesn't convert to double (you either buy the single or twin version). It's heavy but it's awesome and easy to push. Evenflo something or other.... We bought a cheap jogging stroller from Evenflo and it was horrible. Baby was sliding down all the time and seemed uncomfortable. The build quality was not so good compared to the other strollers. You get what you pay for unfortunately. We got rid of this one... Then we have a travel stroller too 🤣

You will get a better stroller used - I would not hesitate to buy a used UB stroller. They sell spare parts and The Stroller Workshop (a YouTube channel for a stroller repair guy) mentions they’re easy to repair. Our Cruz from 2020 is in great shape. Save the difference and put it towards a travel stroller - that has been the game changer for us if you need something smaller to fit in the car day to day.

I love our uppa Cruz it’s a workhorse and the Cruz is 2-3 inches narrower than the Vista. They have a coordinating bucket seat that is pretty light as well. We used to live in the middle east and I would take our compound bus to the mall or IKEA and run errands. Once they are out of the bucket I was able to force a lightweight car seat into the bottom basket, or it fits a TON of stuff in the bottom basket.

I took a few strollers for a test drive at our local store (well walked around the store with them) and then found the same uppababy Cruz and bassinet (and stand) in perfect condition on Facebook marketplace. We then spent the money on buying the matching car seat brand new. Having a travel system has been SO convenient. My uppababy setup looks brand new but was much more affordable this way, and the company has awesome customer service if anything goes wrong. The brake on our stroller was acting up and they met with me over zoom to trouble shoot it and fixed it. If you think you want more than one baby I’d find a good condition vista on marketplace instead.

I originally bought the Nuna Tavo and I hated it. I ended up buying the Uppababy Cruz v2 and also hated that one lol. In the end, I bought the one I wanted all along but always thought was too expensive - the nuna mixx. I love the Mixx so if you have any questions, happy to answer them! I would get something that is: 1. Has the ability to be parent facing 2. Has a easy / not irritating fold 3. Can lie back all the way for a newborn 4. Fits in your trunk 5. Has a capsule adapter so if bub is sleeping, you can take off the seat and snap in the seat It’s worth it to buy the stroller that you want as you’ll use it a lot. I use my stroller everyday and don’t regret paying $865 with tax for my stroller.

We have an uppababy Cruz, a joolz aer and a doona trike. Ended up with a baby who walked early and hated the stroller. Also ended up using the bigger Cruz when we NEEDED one for things like Disney and also Hawaii (oddly the travel one gets used the least). Then there was a three month window where she would only tolerate the trike. It’s nice to have options but I would also have played more by ear to figure out what kind of baby I have.

I have the Cruz v2 and Mesa system and absolutely hate it. Baby gets so overheated in the Mesa and it’s really hard to get him in and out. He outgrew it by 5 months and he’s barely 50th percentile. The Cruz v2 I used with a Snugseat. The Snugseat also overheats him, even when he’s wearing one layer and bare arms he gets overheated at 15C outside or walking in the mall, but when I don’t use it, he always slumps and the fabric is so rough it gives him a rash. It’s also hard AF and uncomfortable without the Snugseat. It’s also difficult to maneuver around and so bulky when folded up. Going around doctor’s visits or narrow roads I have to pull the stroller up and scootch it over constantly. It’s annoying having to swap to forward from back facing just to fold it up. The breaks are finicky and don’t click if you just quickly tap sometimes. Also I can’t clean it or wash it. Can’t even machine wash the Snugseat, and when I surface clean it, it smells like wet dog?? The wheels keep getting gravel stuck in them and I have to dig it out all through spring. I can’t fit anything in the car once the stroller is in there. It’s just so huge but it can’t even do two kids like the Vista. Also the sunshade, though the coverage is decent, unless it’s 100% open there’s no ventilation as the ventilation panel gets bunched up. Another reason this stroller is unusable in summer. The only upside is the undercarriage space and 30 lb weight limit, plus lots of recline positions (only really beneficial for newborns). Yeah I hate this stroller, I hate that I listened to all the posts recommending it. Planning on selling the set and getting a new Nuna one. That mesh back and Tencell bamboo removable cover seems like a huge improvement so I can actually use a stroller indoors/in the summer.

I had the zelia max, uppababy Cruze v2 and I’m now using an ergobaby metro 3. I loved the zelia! It was light, bassinet feature was amazing and it was a great deal when on sale for a travel system. It got damaged when I was on holiday and I got the Cruz which is easier to push but heavier for sure. So heavy I’ve just replaced it with the new metro stroller. I say get the zelia, it was beautiful in black and felt premium. I got it from Nordstrom before they vanished and it was absolutely worth it. People compare the zelia to uppababy which I don’t think is fair. It’s better than Graco but not as good as uppababy and it’s priced where it belongs. This sub swears by certain brands like uppababy, baby bjorn, woolino etc and it’s honestly not that deep.

Congratulations! I hope mom and baby are happy and safe. I gave birth to my bub earlier this year, also in QC. When I was making this decision on which stroller to buy, six months ago, I came to the conclusion that it takes 2 strollers to meet my needs. We bought the uppababy cruz because we wanted something light, with a huge basket, easy to navigate and that folds down. We went to Clément and tested a bunch and the uppa was our favourite. Unfortunately it's crap in the snow. Next winter, we'll probably get a thule chariot which is a jogging stroller that converts into a bike trailer. It looks like a workhorse but its huge and feels inconvenient for the rest of the year, and I don't think its compatible with newborns. In the interim we've been baby wearing bub and it's going great.

I got a fancy stroller used for $400 (Uppababy Cruz). I had to put $80 into replacing a broken part. I like the stroller. Features I value are that it is lightweight, maneuvers well, and easy to get into my car trunk. My stroller is a travel system. We've found that feature to be completely useless. We've used it maybe twice and only to say we've tried it. IME it's not much extra effort to set up the stroller with the stroller seat rather than car seat when you're getting out of the car, and my baby seems a lot more comfortable in the regular seat vs car seat.

I know I’m late to the party but wanted to give my Uppababy Cruse V2 review. It’s great. Very sturdy, handles well, and the storage is excellent. The downside for me is it’s not a great travel stroller. Like in and out of the car is annoying. We also took it to Disneyland and folding it for the shuttles was a pain. I love having someone compact but also sturdy. The MomPush brand has been my favorite. It’s not as pricey as Uppababy, has similar designs, and is amazingly easy to fold one handed.

Uppababy Cruz v2 for the stroller. I’m very much a bassinet person. You can often get some uppababy bassinets hardly used for cheap on marketplace. OR Bumbleride era. Not the most lightweight but it doesn’t need a bassinet to lie completely flat and is newborn ready. As for car seat chicco key fit is a solid seat

I haven’t tested any nunas more than 2 min at a store once, but I can confirm that we love our uppababy system. Granted, baby isint here yet buuuuut we’ve thoroughly gone through the process you’re in now and uppababy was a no brainer in the end due to the flexibility their line gives. We got the Cruz v2 (because we don’t know if and when kid number two will arrive, and the Cruz can still be used with two kids assuming the first kid is big enough to stand on the boogie board/standing attachment, forget what it’s called), with the bassinet (their bassinet is one of the only ones on the market that is fully sleep approved). We also live in conditions similar to yours, and found the Cruz to be very light and agile to move around. And one handle carry. Later we’d like to get the minu v3 and ridge, and knowing we can use the bassinet and car seat (maxi-cosi) with every stroller is amazing. Their quality of textiles and features is hard to beat- superior ventilation and lots of different positions. The materials feel better than cybex for example and are around the same price. I sound like I should be a rep for uppababy, but I promise I’m not 😂 just happy to have found the system that seems to be the best for us.

We've had the Minu V2 and Cruz V2 since birth and have an almost two year old. I almost exclusively used the Minu because it's smaller and lighter and so much easier when it's just the two of us. We ended up with so many of the accessories and you can use them on both. In the beginning I would use the car seat if we were going in somewhere that she would be getting out like storytime because I've read they shouldn't be in the car seat too long, it was great to just plop the cozy ganoosh on and attach to the stroller. I used the bassinet for Dr's appointments or places we were gonna be walking awhile. At around 4 months we switched to the stroller seat but she just kinda slid sideways so we ended up getting the snug seat. It made it close clunky but it still did close. At this point I would keep the adapters on so I could put the car seat on with the rain shield really fast so she wouldn't get wet. Now at almost two we almost never use a stroller but when we do i prefer the Cruz. We're car people not walking people tho. If we're walking where there are dirt paths etc the Cruz pushes so much nicer. We have the seat liners on both and the seat cozy ganoosh can go on both too. We have one cupholder we keep by the door and it comes with adapters for both so I just clip it on either as we go out the door.

We started with an Uppababy Mesa car seat combo stroller for baby #1. It’s easy to use and you can plop the car seat right in there. The frame is lightweight and easy to collapse. I think that one only has single baby capability, but they make one that you can upgrade to a double if needed, which might be the way to go if you are planning on having more. Our second child 3 years old has a neurological disability and handles like a baby, so we had to take that into consideration when baby #3 arrived for a double stroller due to being a larger sized baby (we want to avoid using a wheelchair as long as he’s small enough). We got the Veer switch and roll for that due to higher weight capacity and sturdiness. It has a converter attachment for our uppababy seat. The wheels are a bit bigger so it’s better for curbs and terrain. The width is a little wider than most strollers but can fit through doorways, it just takes some precision. It’s heavier compared to our single stroller, but not too bad. Overall we like it (we didn’t use other double strollers to compare though).
