Just got the uppababy Cruz v3 and we are obsessed! I was set on getting the Nuna Mixx Next until I saw that a) Nuna’s customer service sucks and b) the Cruz’s basket holds 30 lbs while the Nuna’s holds 10!

The minu v3 is technically infant compatible but I personally would not use it with an infant. They did a better job with the infant capabilities for the Cruz V3

r/BuyingforbabyWhen looking at strollers, what features are actually worth the money?

Yes, this is true! But it’s also very life dependent. If you’re going on long walks with the baby in the stroller every day (to the store or just to get out in the world) you’ll want something that can lay flat or get a bassinet. If you’re just popping out to grab something from the store nearby for less than 20-30 minutes, car seat on the stroller is fine. If you don’t want to buy/store a separate bassinet, but want a lay flat option, Graco modes can do that. If you want the lay flat and the big storage basket, I’d recommend the uppababy Cruz v3! It’s more expensive, but very sturdy, and I used to push it all over manhattan and use it as our car basically (when I was a nanny).

r/BabyBumpsRecommendations for a lie-flat infant stroller?

I have the Cruz V3 with lay flat and also live downtown but with great proximity to parks and trails. I do live in an elevator building so it might be different if I had to lug it up stairs, but I love it. I wanted wheels sturdy enough to handle rough city sidewalks and trails.

Highly recommend going to a mall to push them around and feel for yourself! We went to Bloomingdale’s and tried a few brands (Uppababy, Nuna, Bugaboo) and ended up with Uppababy Cruz V3

I'm also 4'11" and had a winter baby! I have the Bugaboo Butterfly, which is super lightweight, but as you mentioned, faces outside. Could you baby wear for the first few months and then use the lightweight stroller? In the early months I did use the Uppababy Cruz with bassinet (facing towards me), which I liked, though as you mentioned, it is SO bulky and large. I only use it now in the winter when traversing icy/salty city streets. It is also possible to use the Uppababy Cruz with the infant snug seat from birth, I believe, so you don't need the bassinet. I don't have personal experience with the [Cybex Eos](https://www.bloomingdales.com/shop/product/cybex-eos-5-in-1-travel-system-stroller-lightweight-aton-g-infant-car-seat?ID=5579231&CategoryID=3866&swatchColor=Moon%20Black&sizes=BABY_GEAR_TYPE_SITE!!Strollers#BABY_GEAR_TYPE_SITE,PRICE,PAGEINDEX,SORTBY/Strollers,100%257C500%7C500%257C1000,2,PRICE_LOW_TO_HIGH) but have heard good things - it's lightweight and the bassinet and seat can face towards you. It's on major sale at Bloomingdale's ($359) plus you'll get $75 in Bloomingdale's gift cards to use on other baby gear. If you combine that with Rakuten 15% cashback, you'll also get $53 cashback, so the total ends up being like $231 + tax, which is an amazing deal. If you're a new user to Rakuten and use my [referral link](http://www.rakuten.com/r/NCHENS?eeid=28187), you get additional $50 off your first purchase!

r/BuyingforbabyBest lightweight stroller with good suspension and durable build

Of the options you listed, the Cruz V3 will easily be the best for going over rough ground, but the same elements that make it so great in that respect also make it the largest and heaviest (26 lbs, I think) - you likely won't be able to gate check it. Unfortunately, the lightest/most compact strollers tend to have little/no suspension and smaller wheels as a consequence, so you may have to decide which feature you think is more important. Aer2 and Minu v3 apparently have good suspension and relatively large wheels for their class (i.e., ultracompacts), but will still have the most trouble going over rough ground. Hub2 is somewhere in the middle, although the suspension is a little firm and I don't love the fold (I think you have to reverse the seat first, and the seat removal wasn't super intuitive to me.) An important question here is whether you want baby to be able to face you while you push. If so, that automatically eliminates Aer2 and Minu (and almost every other compact stroller). Some other lighter reversible-seat strollers that still have decently sized wheels are the Nuna Triv Next, Bugaboo Dragonfly, and Peg Perego Veloce. Cybex has the Mios, but the wheels are much smaller (so it will have a tougher time around rough terrain). The Dragonfly is very tall when folded though (even taller than the Cruz), so it may not work that well if your trunk space is limited. If you don't care about a reversible seat, the Nuna TRVL/TRVL LX, Cybex Beezy (latest model), Uppababy Minu v2, Peg Perego Selfie Plus, and Guzzie and Guss Oxygen v2 are all lighter than 20 lbs, have a one-hand fold, and have larger wheels and more substantial suspension than the Aer2/Minu v3 (or any other ultracompacts, for that matter).

r/nycparentsEveryday stroller in the city for a newborn? Elevator building, occasional bus, subway and Uber rides
about 2 months ago

Totally get the struggle—finding that balance between a "tank" for uneven sidewalks and something light enough for the subway is tough. While the Vista is great for storage, the **Uppababy Cruz V3** is honestly the sweet spot for NYC. It handles the city grind much better than a travel stroller (like the Minu) but is way easier to manage than the Vista. I actually did a deep dive review specifically analyzing the V3’s performance and how it stacks up against other top contenders. It might help you visualize the trade-offs before you buy:[https://babygearsreview.com/reviews/stroller/uppababy-cruz-v3](https://babygearsreview.com/reviews/stroller/uppababy-cruz-v3) Good luck with the search!

I think the Cruz v3 the one we’re going to buy too! It’s a bit of a splurge that family is paying for, and the stroller was so nice to push around in real life. We also watched a helpful review video about Cruz vs Vista and how simply buying an alternative side-by-side double stroller like the Mina in a couple years would cost a similar amount to the Vista overall

I was super overwhelmed and went to a local baby store in Santa Barbara. The owner helped us a ton and gave us demos of everything and basically told us which was the best in her opinion. Uppababy Cruz v3 stroller with the nuna car seat pippa Aire. We liked this bc everything is light and easy to pop into various positions with one hand
