"We travel with it a lot and never have to gate check it, it is smaller than a carry on when folded and fits in the overhead compartment."
"We’ve done 13 flights now with the Silver Cross Jet. Put it into the overhead lockers every time"
"it collapses easy, stands up ... The standing up is great if you're in a restaurant and need it to have a small footprint."

"Was gifted a gluxe 2nd hand for traveling thinking it would die on our many treks across Asia and Mexico. Still going strong"
"We had an uppababy umbrella stroller (great wheels and shocks), which did AMAZING on all the Rome cobblestone. ... That stroller incredibly made it through over 20 cobblestone cities throughout Italy and Spain over the course of 5 years. We couldn't believe the wheels still hadn't come off!"
"Nice big wheels for sand and cobblestone etc."

"the headband fatigues my skull"
"Or the Razer Naga that is 122g ... I've used all of them and the weight savings on the Aerox helped me no longer get any kind of wrist discomfort after days of longer gaming sessions."
"wanted a more FPS friendly gaming mouse ... Mice as big as the Razer Naga, but lighter ... I still use my Naga for mmorpgs and I switch to the Pulsar for every other game."

"the basket underneath was completely inaccessible from the back. I thought there would at least be some give in the back but there wasn’t lol. Like 2 inches of space to get in the back."
"I walk to the grocery store with my babe often and the basket on it is way too small."
"The aer doesn’t even hold my daily diaper bag. ... The basket is so small."

"even folded its a pretty robust scooter that can even be awkward when negotiating doors and passageways, escalators would be a real fun challenge. ... Just think that its 45lbs, awkward to carry, not heavy at first but if you lug it long enough it gets heavy etc.."
The uppababy g-luxe is pretty light, but I’m not sure if it’s cabin-approved. Its accessories are kinda meh, and the CS is exhausting. We switched to the mamazing ultra air later and love it. Super light, folds even smaller, fits between the car seats while the g-luxe had to go in the trunk
r/BabyBumps • Best strollers for short trips?(Rome) ->Uppa Baby G Luxe, or Baby Jogger City Mini 2. My daughters are 19, and 15 now but I had early versions of Uppa Baby Vista and it was a great stroller. Very much a BIFL quality item. Go to the store and try a bunch out and get the one with the easiest fold. We had a Maclaren Triumph stroller and it was great; so sad the company went out of business.
r/BuyItForLife • Looking for an everyday lightweight semi compact easy to use stroller. Asking for too much? ->It depends on the itinerary and how your family rolls with the stroller. If you've got all three kids on the stroller using two seats plus the PiggyBack and that's what everyone's used to, it may make sense to bring it and stow it under your bed for port use every though it won't be very maneuverable in the ship's hallways. If all three kids are used to walking everywhere and there's no long walks at ports of call like, e.g., the pier at Lookout Cay, you may not need any stroller. Our main battle stroller for our lone toddler is an Uppababy Cruz, which would be too unwieldy to bring on board for transporting one kid. When we cruise, we bring an Uppababy G-Luxe. Keep in mind that being able to take the stairs rather than waiting for an elevator is a superpower on most cruises, and the G-Luxe is way easier to hand carry on stairs than the Cruz.
r/dcl • Strollers - Yay or Nay? ->You know the relative walking speeds of your kids waaaaay better than I do, but, as the father of a 2.5-year-old, I would consider whether an umbrella stroller for your youngest would increase your range enough to be worthwhile. We bought our G-Luxe at a local dodgy baby emporium -- it felt like a front for a not-terribly-successful drug operation. The G-Luxe was a floor model that was missing the cup holder, but it was also cheap and, as we confirmed when the brake failed after a year, sold by an authorized Uppababy dealer and thus fully warranteed.
r/dcl • Strollers - Yay or Nay? ->I think this may depend on your stroller. We have the uppababy g-luxe for travel and there is no way I'd be able to fit the cosco next in the basket - I have to squeeze our diaper bag in. It would probably work in our full-size stroller.
r/toddlers • Travel toddler car seat with stroller - why isn’t this a thing? ->In the city the Joolz Aer. Everyone raves about the yoyo but I find it very low. If you want a more sturdy one also consider uppa baby. They are fab and the customer service is really good. 3 year guarantee and even outside that they will repair really cheaply (£65 for new brake and wheel including courier picking up and delivering back).
r/HENRYUKLifestyle • Choosing pram. Recommendations? ->I have the Uppa Baby and Nuna TRVL. Both are great for different reasons. Just remember - if a stroller is on the market, it has to do through in depth testing to get there. It wouldn’t be for sale if it wasn’t safe. Same with car seats, there really is no bad option. They all work. It’s what works best for you!
r/BabyBumps • Confused by strollers, what do you recommend? ->Love the Joolz Aer. I've put in hundreds of miles with it and it's still going strong. I keep waiting for the wheels to eventually wear down. I carry it up and down subway stairs, take it on the bus, etc. Someone had given us a much heavier duty Uppa Baby stroller that we used like three times then never again because we found the Joolz so much more manageable.
r/nycparents • Is Joolz stroller good for nyc? ->Used uppababt is the way
r/Buyingforbaby • FTM lost with travel systems + husband wants cheaper options ->We started out with a Chico bravo primo which has been great, came with a car seat that clicks in and a base. Think about 600 for everything. Very solid and really nice folding feature for half the price of the uppababy we were looking at. We also looked at the little stroller car seat combo thing but I’m 6’5 and it was way too short for me to comfortably push and had no storage iirc. Lately we don’t need such a large stroller and don’t need the car seat as much since he’s just about sized out of it height wise. So I picked up a uppababy Gluxe which is a very small form stroller that takes up much less space. No car seat compatibility but I don’t need that anymore. Think it was 200 new or like 170 open box on Amazon. Love it so far. My main issue is traveling. We did about 12 flights this past year between 6 months and 18 months of life for our son. I refuse to check bags. So the combo seat stroller was great. As soon as he hits 2 this summer I will likely pick up a way B to go with our new small form stroller so we can continue not checking bags.
r/daddit • My wife has a crazy addiction to buying strollers. So we’ve tried em all. ->I have a Cruz for everyday but also a gluxe for travel. Still very comfy for naps and has nice huge cover. Was gifted a gluxe 2nd hand for traveling thinking it would die on our many treks across Asia and Mexico. Still going strong but I did buy a new one for $200 on sale. Sturdy, reliable and I really like it. Folds up like an umbrella and stands too.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller recommendations, smaller than vista but more comfortable than a travel stroller [on] ->We have an Uppababy Gluxe and travelled so well with it (10 cities across Asia, Europe and Mexico with infant). Went down far enough for on the go naps, big canopy, decent storage below and was sturdier than some of the really light, tiny strollers I was looking at. We hung bags off it from shopping and had no issues. Big wheels make a difference on certain terrains.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Recommendations: Everyday stroller that is also good for traveling [on] ->For $200 I got a new uppababy gluxe. We received an older one and liked it. Found it very sturdy cause I have a Cruz too and like the brand. We did at least 10 trips on various planes and trains with it and it was great for naps, relatively light, stands straight up and good canopy. Nice big wheels for sand and cobblestone etc.
