"Both stroller and car seat are incredibly light weight and easy to manage"

"I’ll never forget the look on a dad’s face in the bus line when I collapsed it with a single button push (holding the baby in my other arm!) while he was fighting for his life with his stroller."

"I LOVE how I can close it with one hand, lift it into the trunk, all while holding my toddler as an ex. It has been extremely helpful for me when I am solo with both."

"We also traveled with it (babe is now 4.5 months) and having a car seat that easily latches in without having to also bring a base is GREAT."

"complete travel system with carseat that can snap on super easily ... Nuna pipa urbn carseat is only sold with Nuna stroller, and I love that it’s baseless and super easy to to install for rideshares using LATC system ... I do love some of the Nuna features, as well as the car seat that goes with it. ... I do really like the Nuna Pipa urbn car seat, which is only compatible with the TRVL - it’s super easy to pop into the stroller and (usually) into the car. (I don’t own a car so it was important that I had something I could easily use with ride shares / other cars.)"

"It has amazing compatibility with the Pipa series car seats and creates a type of cocoon."

"you can gate check it and it’s a very very airport friendly stroller ... I have flown solo parenting with a baby at 9 weeks and at 7 months and it was fantastic, easy to wrangle through TSA and it’s sturdy enough for gate checking ... We’ve done about 10 flights with it in 2 years and zero damage"

"Both stroller and car seat are incredibly light weight and easy to manage"

"The fold is the best on the market. Literally folds itself and stands up well."

"has the best one-handed auto fold"

"I can push a button and it auto-collapses. It’s really great if you’re alone with baby."

"The handlebar is at a fixed height and cannot be adjusted up and down, and the canopy when pulled back rubs up against it and it is NOT a pleasant sensation on your hands. There’s no avoiding it."

"the one handle bar is actually a hassle. Both kids can take it off easily."

"I tried the Nuna TRVL in store and its a bit sturdier than the Joolz, but I don't believe its small enough to be compliant with airplane overheard compartment so you'd need to check it, so I feel like that defeats the whole purpose"

"the trvl is nice but keep in mind if one of the major reasons for buying it is stowing it in the overhead compartment of a plane, it doesn’t fit all airlines."

"too big to take into the cabin"

"the basket underneath was completely inaccessible from the back. I thought there would at least be some give in the back but there wasn’t lol. Like 2 inches of space to get in the back."

"The Nuna unfortunately doesn’t have a large basket."

"the ONLY downside to it imo is the storage bin under the seat is quite small"

"If you have wild kids or go over not perfectly smooth sidewalks, it's not great."

Got the Nuna Triv next because it was supposed to be lightweight without compromising features. I hated it. Hate the fold. Hate that it doesn’t stay folded/flops open all the time. Hate the stupid buckles that always get twisted. It was heavy/bulky to me. Getting it in and out of my car just pissed me off. Got the butterfly 2 and am so much happier. Is it as smooth as ride as the triv? Nope but my baby could not care less. If you value easy, one handed fold and a lightweight, well-thought out design (the buckles are so much easier!) get the butterfly.

I got the Burley Honey Bee for running! It’s been great, and we can attach it to the bike. It doesn’t have a hand break, but I haven’t needed one. Baby does have to meet size minimums to use it, but it by far gets more use than any other stroller I’ve had. For family outings I love my Nuna! I was cheap and started with a Baby Trend Travel System and the stroller broke before I had my second, the car seat started deteriorating with my first and broke with my second:/ whatever you do I wouldn’t cheap out, you’ll pay more in the long run.

The Nuna Trvl is a travel stroller and probably the best one there is. Ours is built like a freaking tank. One handed folding/opening amazes everyone when they see it. We don’t use the travel case anymore when we gate check it. One month shy of 3 years with it too.

I’m in the same boat!! I just went to look at some today. My brother is giving us their lightly used Graco car seat with a basic click in stroller for quick newborn outings, so I feel better splurging on a nicer stroller for long term as long as it will be versatile. We don’t have a garage or anywhere to store it in our house so I want something that folds very compact. I also want it to have parent facing and world facing options, which limits a lot of the smaller travel type strollers. I’m looking at the Nuna Triv, Nuna Swiv, and Joolz Hub 2 primarily. I was able to go look at the Nunas today along with the Maxi Cosi Tayla, Uppababy Cruz, and Cybex Balios/Melos. They had bugaboo there too but those are more than I’m wanting to spend and the Fox is bigger than I’m wanting anyway. The Nunas weight, folding mechanism, and folded size were FAR superior than any others and I am heavily leaning that direction. It was just so smooth and easy and compact on both of them. The Mixx was gigantic to me and the folded package was cumbersome to deal with. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find anywhere with Joolz Hub2, but it looks very similar to the Triv and reviews say it’s more durable. The Swiv was ever so slightly bigger than the Triv but felt a little sturdier and less like a travel stroller, and I don’t feel like the extra 1-2 lbs was that big of a deal compared to the trade off you get for more storage basket space and what feels like more durability. However the Triv has more suspension and better wheels for all terrain, so I’m torn on that. The only hesitation I have with Nuna is the way the lady at the store talked about them. She said she herself would never buy one because they aren’t made as well as others of the same price point and the warranty is crap (2 years but limited to things that probably wouldn’t break anyway). She was really pushing the Cybex models but they just didn’t have the same smooth and compact fold and I didn’t like the buckles and seat material as much as the Nunas (the magnetic buckle was awesome). The Joolz Hub2 has a 10 year warranty and it has a toddler ride on board you can attach later on which makes it more versatile than the Nunas in my eyes. Not looking to get a double but having a little bit of flexibility with another kid when making such an expensive purchase feels nice. I just wish I could get my hands on it to compare! I’m almost leaning Joolz just due to the warranty and supposed durability. There’s just not as much info out there about them from people who have bought them. I went to Nordstrom, a local baby store, and Pottery Barn kids, which could be an option where you live! I’m also looking into the bassinet options with the Nuna and Joolz and that’s getting me stuck (nuna is expensive and Joolz doesn’t have a stand to use at home) so I might just opt out of using these strollers with a tiny newborn and just baby wear/use the car seat click on stroller when needed. I think past 4-6 months old these will have a lot of longevity so trying to think long term and not get a bunch of accessories I don’t need. Sorry for the info dump but tried to be detailed since you can’t see them in person!

We had a Nuna that was good, but then I rented a Bob jogger on vacation and fell in love with it. I ended up buying a Thule Jogger which is going strong with kid number 2, but the Bob is a great choice too. Joggers are just better with different terrain, hop curbs easy, and are simple. The Nuna was great if you're on a smooth sidewalk or something and had too many plastic parts

I travel a lot for work & we walk a lot when home so we went for the Nuna trvl LX (it works from birth to ~5, and folds easily and nicely with one hand) and the pipa urbn seat because it adapts for all vehicles. When he outgrows car seat we’ll do the Cosco nxt for travel Edit if helpful: our heights are about same as you two

I ended up selling my ergo baby metro plus because it ended up being so clunky and the canopy clicked so loud when you put it out that it would wake up my sleeping baby! I sold it and bought the nuna trvl, sometimes you can find it on a good sale or marketplace!

Uppababy Vista with bassinet. Nuna Pipa Aire. $50 conversion piece to allow you to clip the Nuna seat into UB stroller. Best combo ever. Then if you have a second baby, you just need to grab an additional rumble seat for the UB once they’re older. If you need a travel stroller, LOVEEEE the Nuna TRVL.

I did not go with Uppababy because my friend had it and it was huge. I am 5’ 2” and on the go a lot and wanted luxury but not giant. I initially went with the Cybex Priam but it also felt very large lugging in and out of the car by myself. The way it doesn’t technically latch made it awkward to maneuver. We were doing some traveling so I got a Cybex Libelle for the fold but it wasn’t great for under 1 because it didn’t lay flat for nap, so then we tried the Cybex Coya. We took it on to vacation in Hawaii and I LOVED the fold and look, but the seat doesn’t sit fully upright (similar to Bugaboo Butterfly) so my son hated sitting in it. We then bought the Nuna TRVL LX - different than regular TRVL and we love it! It has a one hand fold, decent size basket, nice sturdy bar and lays flat for nap time. I wish I would have purchased this one from the get go for my on the go/trvl stroller since the nuna car seats pop right on it for infants. Given I realized how important size is, if I were to do this all over again… I would have gone with a Nuna Triv OR Cybex Gazelle as my luxury stroller for something with a bassinet and then the TRVL LX for our on the go stroller.

Like someone else said, if you want something that lasts until toddler age, it will be a convertible seat not an infant seat. I’m not a fan of infant seats so we’re going straight to a convertible and getting a stroller with a bassinet mode. Nuna is great, just pricy. I am a big fan but do agree with the other commenter that I need two hands to collapse. The mockingbird is also pretty nice - plenty configurations and compatible with a lot of car seats. I can fold it with one hand and i think it pushes well. If you’re planning on having more kids it’s nice with the ability to add a second seat or have one bassinet and one toddler seat at once.

Uppababy Vista plus Nuna Pipa RX and TRVL. I definitely used the TRVL more for the first 4 months or so. It weighs nothing! I also had a C section and didn’t have any trouble lifting it. I use the Vista for neighborhood walks and longer outings. It’s getting much more use now that baby is sitting up and super alert.

Is your lab a good walker? Mine is NOT. He’s reactive af. I love my Nuna triv stroller and Nuna Pipa car seat so much, but for walking my lab, hell no. I really don’t walk him and my children solo because he’s too hard to manage, but I’d get a jogging stroller if I did. I walked him and my 3yo recently and it was really hard to steer my triv one handed and the wheels would kind of catch trying to get it back on course. It’s not the best for uneven terrain

Was considering valco trend duo, but you said it also tips? Does it tip forward? Did you have rhe upgraded wheels? Considering bombi twin also with the upgraded wheels to prevent tipping

I had someone recommend 2 strollers and I thought they were out of their mind. I fought it and got the Nuna trvl and Pipa. I loved it. However, baby LOVED going on long walks. Not necessarily great in the Nuna combo, but now I know the new version (lx) flat. I still debate though because it’s not as smooth as a ride and truly designed for quick errands and airport travel (which it works great for). So at about 2 months I started looking for a bigger stroller because of the long walks. I went with the Cruz V2 and got the car seat attachment (through Nuna - NOT UB) for it. I thought, “wtf am I doing?! This is ridiculous!! I hate that I’m spending this money on this if we don’t use it that often.” This sucker is now my everyday. I really only use the Nuna when we travel for the weekends because we need more trunk space or airport travel. The UB is way sturdier, handles more of my day-to-day bs (I’m rough with stuff), steers nicely, isn’t too heavy (but does take up a considerable amount of space & some airlines do not allow you to gate check it), and the basket is FREAKING GREAT. I’ve really put it to the test with weight capacity. Moral of the story: my friend was right. If you can afford it, go for 2. One light for travel and one for everyday use. As for the car seat, having a true infant one has been great so I don’t wake up my LO when napping. For the most part, we don’t stop our days for napping. The LO is either strapped to us or in the car seat if we’re on the go. The infant seat allows our LO to continue sleeping without being disturbed. With that said, the LO is now getting heavier (7 months) and we just bought the chicco 360 zip. We’re excited to use it come August, maybe? I’m literally waiting until she reaches the height/weight limit of the Nuna Pipa before switching. That’s how much we like the convenience of the infant seat. Chicco usually has 20% off sales. I think they’re having one now for Father’s Day.

This. We just traveled with the Nuna Pipa and it was easy to carry and check. I couldn’t imagine traveling with our rotating car seat. Nope. No thank you. I also hate the idea of waking my baby up when she’s napping just to get her in and out of the car. Taking the car seat and popping it in and out of the stroller (we have both the UB Cruz v2 and Nuna Trvl) has been great. We have a Chicco rotating car seat waiting for us to use in a month or 2.

Honestly, I had a friend sit me down because I had a similar wishlist and she told me sometimes it’s best to have 2 strollers - one for the quick trips (easy fold, pavement/sidewalks), and one for the longer trips (a little bigger, trails with grass/dirt/or minor roughness, etc.). I didn’t listen to her and went solely for the Nuna Trvl. I wish I did listen to her now that baby is here. I ended up buying myself (instead of putting it on my registry) the Uppababy Cruz V2. I love this stroller more than the Trvl. It handles more of my day-to-day bs and feels sturdier. It’s great in grass and for quick trips with the car seat attachment. If I was to do it differently, I’d either put both strollers on my registry or go with the Nuna Triv because it seems to be the middle between the two.

I LOVE my UB Cruz. I also have the Nuna Trvl, but honestly love the UB more because it handles more of my roughness very well. The Trvl is nice for quick trips or actually traveling. There is a Nuna Triv that’s half Mixx and half Trvl. It’s got the bigger wheels but a strap to swing over your shoulder. Might be better for the stairs.

We have the Nuna TRVL LX and love it. The fold is what convinced me! It’s super lightweight and literally folds with a single click basically by itself, it also comes with its own carrying bag which is nice. The day we bought it I folded and unfolded it in like 5 seconds one handed like a 100 times and felt like a magician making it disappear and reappear🤣. We’re planning on using it as our primary stroller, The weight limit on the under stroller storage basket claims to only be 10 pounds, but my giant 22 pound bengal cat routinely sleeps in it and it hasn’t damaged it at all lol.

just spent a month researching. my takeaway: Nuna - loved this one the most (mixx or trvl xl) but all of the carseats/accesories make it extra pricey. my fav uber premium option uppababy- i found these all to be kind of rigid and too large. didn't like the vibe but its obvs popular mockingbird - decided on this one and so far love the balance of quality and price point. truly feels strong but also premium, while not being huge, and almost all the features feel obvious instead of buried silver cross - if you really want to go with the most premium it is indeed very nice. graco Modes nest - solid budget option. felt a little on the light/fragile side for me but if lightweight with versatility is important, this one isn't bad at all bugaboo - maybe the one i tried was a janky floor model but i didn't think it was smooth at all. nuna/mock crushed it

I’ve got a Nuna trvl and think it’s dreadful on nearly all counts but it does collapse with one hand and it does make putting it in a car easy. The only plus don’t buy it. I wish I’d got the yoyo zen I’ve been with friends that have it and it’s nippy, it collapses really small, can go onboard planes in the overhead a much better pram.

I started my stroller journey by buying a highly recommended stroller and hating it... and ended up with multiple ones, which turned into testing over 100 models and reviewing them :) That said: NOT LOVING: Uppababy Vista - rides smooth, but too big and bulky Mockingbird - awful, scary with recalls, doesn't drive smoothly as all Cybex Orfeo - too flimsy Cybex Coya - where do I even begin with this bad fold GB Pockit - not worth your fingers Ergobaby Metro - too heavy for a travel stroller and unfold feels meh SummerInfant 3d quickclose - too good to be true, super flimsy Nuna TRVL - too short seat, too big to take into the cabin and too expensive for what it is Uppababy Minu - too big for a travel stroller model, weird bumper bar and flimsy canopy LOVING: Cybex Priam - amazing, especially the e-version. If I were to get a one full-size stroller this would be my top choice Stokke Yoyo3 - most well-known and guaranteed on board Joolz Aer - smooth ride, great accessories Joolz Hub2 - solid mid-size option Cybex Gazelle - good for 2 under 2 Bombi - good mid-size option Bugaboo Butterfly 2 - didn't like the first version, but these upgrades made it better Mamazing - good budget option Zoe Traveler - amazing canopy and solid stroller Inglesina Quid - cute solid compact stroller

I have the Uppa Baby and Nuna TRVL. Both are great for different reasons. Just remember - if a stroller is on the market, it has to do through in depth testing to get there. It wouldn’t be for sale if it wasn’t safe. Same with car seats, there really is no bad option. They all work. It’s what works best for you!

I have both the Doona and Nuna! They are both great w their own pros and cons. If I had to pick between the two, I could go for the Nuna. The Doona has a pretty short time span in which you can actually use it. By the time my daughter was 9 months old she outgrew it based on her height. It was so convenient as a new born but as she grew it did get really heavy. A lot of people I know love the Doona and it is great but not for everyone and not in every scenario. The Nuna , IMO, handles better & has more functions. And will be something that can grow with your baby. The materials feel so lux and it is pretty light weight as well as folds easily for travel. We use the Nuna TRVL as our main. If you check on Nordstrom they actually sell it in a package w an infant car seat— I got mine during their mid year sale and save a few hundred $$$

I debated all of these and ultimately decided on the Nuna Triv due to the safety of the carseats that were compatible and the weight being easier to load in and out of a car. I live a suburban lifestyle in and out of cars a lot so that was most important to me. As an NYC resident, you might not need it to be so light as you're not hauling it in and out of cars as much. My cousin lives in NYC and swears by her Uppababy Vista being great for the ease of the ride and navigating the streets there. (Cruz would probably fare similarly!) I know there's a Bambi Baby store in Jersey that carries all the luxury brand strollers where you can try things out!

Update! For anyone interested, I decided to go with the Nuna Triv for these reasons: 1. lightweight and easy to deal with getting in and out of my car 2. compatibility with the pipa aire rx carseat which was my number one choice carseat (due to safety and weight) 3. push feel and easy of breaking down/setting up 4. there's also a bassinet attachment I can get (granted all of these are pricey so I'm looking for this on FB marketplace) Baby is due in November and I'll update on how we are faring soon after that!

I just bought the Minu v3 today!! The local baby store had literally just gotten it in. We currently have the Nuna triv and wanted a travel stroller to keep in the car. I brought my 13 mo son and tried out the bugaboo, joolz and the minu V3. The minu was the best one out of all three. Easiest to fold up, has a flap on top to be able to see down to the baby, and easiest capability to expand the seat up/down. it was super helpful testing them out right beside each other!

It is extremely sturdy with a metal frame, but lightweight and easy to push. Like, it glides so smooth haha. It’s also the only one I found that had a true one hand open/close. Also had the biggest basket. I have taken it on many airplanes and I even pushed it down the airplane aisle and it fit perfect. Some of the other travel strollers mentioned are okay, but seemed so cheaply made compared to the bugaboo. The Nuna travel stroller was nice too, but you had to use two hands because of this little latch.

I second this if the budget allows for it. Very well made and user friendly. Easy to fold and load up in the car. The pipa car seat is extremely lightweight which was a huge factor for us, you gotta lug it around a lot I use the Triv as my walking stroller too, we live in a flat paved neighborhood and it does great

I also couldn’t justify paying for a Nuna travel system but we did like the Nuna Triv. I was looking into the Joie Kava since it seemed like a Triv dupe but they have a 7 lb difference in weight, which is important to us! So now I’m thinking of just investing in a car seat that just has an infant insert so we don’t have to buy twice? Not sure yet…

I have the twin v2 and it is soooo junky. Flimsy basket, threads pulled right out of the box, hard af to push in a parking lot. It’s ridiculous that everyone recommends all terrain wheels for me to push that stroller in parking lot. I’m selling my v2 and getting the Nuna. I have a single Nuna and I love that thing. I wouldn’t waste my time with Zoe again.

NYC walk up resident here. If you plan on taking any public transit at all with the stroller you’ll need something light. I have the 2nd smallest nuna (Triv) and honestly still struggle with stairs when alone. If stairs and transit are not part of your day, or your city actually has transit that’s accessible, you’re fine going heavier. You may also consider 2 strollers. One full size and one travel. Consider second hand as well for whichever you’ll use less.

We tried out the Nuna TRVL LX and the folding mechanism is excellent and it’s very light. We ultimately went with a slightly more full featured Nuna model for our daily stroller, but the TRVL LX would be amazing for travel. In addition to Albee Baby, the Nordstrom flagship near Columbus circle also has all the models out to test drive!

Don’t get the TRVL lx. Even though it has a far softer suspension better suited to everyday use than the Minu v3, It has one incredibly annoying feature that makes it a no go. The handlebar is at a fixed height and cannot be adjusted up and down, and the canopy when pulled back rubs up against it and it is NOT a pleasant sensation on your hands. There’s no avoiding it.

To be frank I think your list is a bit hard to achieve with one stroller. I personally have a cybex gazelle which I love because it can turn into a double and the storage basket is huge. My travel stroller is ergobaby metro and I love it for travel bc it’s cabin approved and the full recline is useful for naps on the go. However if 1 handed fold is important to you, the Nuna TRVL can be a great option for you. If you buy the Nuna car seat it fits in the stroller, it’s a travel stroller (but not sure if cabin approved). I have not personally seen many travel systems sell for less than 800 besides I think graco, evenflo and chicco but I’m not familiar with any of these that would fit your description precisely. The Nuna unfortunately doesn’t have a large basket. Large baskets I’ve only seen on large strollers like my gazelle or UB vista (the Cruz has a decent basket too). If you want the Nuna system for roughly 800 you can probably get a used stroller from marketplace and wait for the PIPA to go on sale. We have a PIPA for our son and really like it. Nuna strollers don’t work with car seats besides Nuna unfortunately.

I use the Nuna trvl as my travel and every day stroller and I think it does very well . Easy to fold , not so heavy, easy to fit in the car ( won’t be accepted in the airplane) but so fas it hasn’t been a issue for us ( and we travel a lot ) we just give it at the gate . the wheels are not so big but the suspension is good . So for me it’s okay as everyday stroller . The chair doesn’t recline a lot but in the first months we used it with the car seat ( nuna pipa ) . The basket side is good . Enough for a diaper bag my bag or some other things. I would say the only thing I hate are the straps . I think I never learn to use them properly or maybe now that my son is 17 months the seem to be short for him . Before I purchased the nuna I ordered two more ; : the yoyo , the ergo metro. I wanted to love the yo-yo but seemed pretty small for a bigger todller The ergo metro seemed cheaper but I think it’s a good option

We have a nuna trvl lx - I like it, it’s lightweight and it’s comfy, and I use it everyday. We also travelled with it and it looked sturdy. The only thing I didn’t like in the beginning is that the “almost flat” feature means that you can’t really use it until maybe 3-4 months, and it’s not front facing, so you can’t actually see your baby - which is fine, when they’re older cause they’re too curious and they want to see what’s out there, but for me it made me feel anxious when he was smaller.

The seat doesn’t come off or rotate to parent-facing, and the front wheels I believe were plastic instead of rubber (not sure if they still are). Parent-facing is really about personal preference… I liked it but it’s not a must have. Sometimes I wished I had a stroller like this where I could have both the seat and the car seat at the same time (for the extra canopy coverage and convenience of not having to carry the stroller seat separately). I would say also look at the Nuna TRVL LX if you’re interested in the Tavo!

I think if you don’t need it to fit in an overhead bin, the TRVL is really nice and the self-fold is cool. I was set on something fitting in the overhead because I’ve had a couple friends experience their gate-checked stroller being lost or damaged by the airline. I also wanted it to fit behind a seat in the car because we have limited cargo space on roadtrips. The Yoyo fold takes some getting used to, but I absolutely love how small and lightweight it is, and I used the heck of out the seat back pockets lol. It pushes really nice and is narrow so fits anywhere! It’s small yet sturdy enough to hang bags on the handle. The basket is small and awkward but holds a lot of weight (just not a large diaper bag). They made the seat sit more upright in the Yoyo3 (and in the TRVL) which won’t matter much for you now but might when you have a toddler who wants to sit up and look around! I think the Joolz is honestly a fabulous stroller, if it had been on sale I’d probably have bought it. I just couldn’t stand paying $500 for the older model. The fold and unfold is easy and flawless from what I can tell.

I have the uppababy Cruz. I love it. I have a lab and haven't had any issues walking her with it. fwiw, I use a waist belt leash. We do city walking, dirt path walking, and I easily run errands with it. I tried the Nuna strollers. Couldn't figure out how to fold them easily. Uppababy also has excellent customer service and warranties. I had to use a warranty on another product and they were quick about confirming coverage and sending a replacement (though it took longer to get here than I'd have liked). I would consider getting one secondhand. I found so many on FB marketplace for $200-300. UB often sells spare parts, so you can fix most issues (scuffed bars, wheels, etc.).

Honestly I think it’s better to invest in a nice lightweight travel stroller than a regular stroller. For instance, we bought the vista v2 and then bought the nuns Trvl for travel and we NEVER use the vista anymore…. It’s so clunky and heavy. If we are running quick errands it’s nice to have a super light weight and easy stroller to take anywhere. We love ours. I would invest in a nicer lightweight stroller and then get a cheaper graco regular stroller

I have two strollers! We have the Thule urban glide for around the neighborhood and for running. Sometimes we take it with us depending on where we’re going like the zoo because it’s super hilly. Then I have the Nuna Triv next that stays in the car. It’s nice and light and folds up really well. It was easy to convince my husband we needed both and I have never not for one second regretted it. It folds easily and is lightweight, so its easy to get in and out of the car. Fits in the xray machine at US airports. I used the Nuna Pipa Rx, and was so thankful that it was only 6lbs - baby gets heavy very quickly! My son is 19 months old and I still love my stroller.

Not that you would know this before baby is born, but my son HATED the infant carseat (to the point where we switched him to the convertible one very young), so if my stroller was my infant carseat (ie: doona) it would have been a huge waste. We had the Nuna (and all our strollers were too) and my only complaint about the stroller was that I needed 2 hands to open and close it, like it wasn’t as easy in practice as it was in a showroom. I LOVE the Nuna TRVL though (I believe it is compatible with their infant carseat)

I went to a stroller store yesterday to check out the jet double, uppababy minu duo, Nuna trvl dbl, and bugaboo donkey. I ended up liking the Nuna the best by far and went with that! The silver cross jet double was my second favorite but quality just wasn’t good/ even close to the Nuna. I wanted to love the uppababy but the push was by far the worst and it felt a little too small imo. Bugaboo took way too long to fold down as it’s not a true travel stroller and the seats have to be removed before collapsing. Just sharing in case this helps anyone!

I'm in exactly the same dilemma and debating between the same two models! I like the feel and quality and sturdiness of the nuna, esp the carrycot (which we'd probably buy second hand with either modell. Nuna was my original 1st choice, but now debating on the joolz aer 2, which is significantly lighter, and also has a bigger carry basket. For travel and getting around I think that lighter weight could probably make a huge difference in London, esp since we live in a third floor flat and don't own a car.

We ended up getting two, one small super lightweight and one large jogging stroller and I’m so glad we did. The lightweight Nuna Trvl is perfect for the grocery store, coffee shop, mall etc and our jogger (Thule urban glide) is amazing for all our outdoor trips, walks in the park, etc. Instead of having one middle ground, I’m so glad we have two very different options that work for our specific wants. Also we got both on sale so it worked out. The urban glide 2 we got at an REI garage sale for only $280!

Hi! We ended up finding a used Nuna TRVL stroller that we use for all our trips now and we love it! It’s so lightweight and the one handed fold is a game changer. We gate check the stroller and use a small bungee cord to keep it folded because it’ll unfold on its own. I read a lot of reviews on a bunch of travel strollers and almost didn’t go with the Nuna because the sun shade hits the handle bars and rests on your hands when it’s open. I thought it would be super annoying, but I don’t mind it at all. Sometimes I’ll even use this stroller when I’m running errands because it’s so light and compact compared to the Cruz

We ended up getting a bugaboo butterfly and absolutely love it! We were between the butterfly and the nuna trvl. We tried both out with our daughter and we found out she vastly prefers the harness in the butterfly so we ultimately decided to go for that. She also has a long torso, so the higher seat back is a plus for us as she grows! The storage basket I think is larger and has a higher weight limit than the Nuna, too. Edited to add that we used it on several flights and it’s been a dream. We put it in the overhead (American Air) for one of the flights and had no issues.

Not to confuse you more, but you don’t NEED an infant seat before a convertible. We brought our girl home in a convertible seat (Nuna Revv). She’s a 90th percentile baby so she would have outgrown the infant seat in a few months. So I couldn’t justify that cost for such a short time. That being said, if I could go back and pick my stroller again I would pick the Nuna Trvl Lx. We have the Nuna Demi grow and it’s huge and heavy

I only have a yoyo (after growing out of the doona). I love how small it folds and that it’s lightweight and easy to get in and out. I agree with others that the folding mechanism is annoying and something like the butterfly might be better in this regard. My baby is 14 months now and I’ve just begun fantasizing about a bulkier stroller 😂 I’m probably going to get the nuna trvl lx which is a bit bigger, bigger wheels, with single handed fold. Since you already have a bigger stroller I would get a second travel stroller. I do think a travel stroller can be your only stroller, but you can see for yourself when you get it. Also consider test driving/buying a stroller locally.

Due in June as well! We ended up getting the Uppababy Vista as well as the Nuna trvl stroller. This came from advice from a friend of mine who has both and absolutely loves it! They use the Uppababy for walks around the neighborhood, events with a lot of walking, etc. The bassinet is great and the durability/size is comfortable for them to grow with. They typically keep the Nuna Trvl in the car because it's smaller and easier to maneuver in restaurants, stores, etc. They also use it a ton for travelling of course. It's easy to get through the airport and it comes with a travel bag too. Finally, we also got the Nuna Pipa RX car seat. It easily attaches to the Nuna Trvl, and you just need a simple adapter to be able to connect it to the Uppababy Vista as well. Seems like a win/win all around so we were sold!

You can snap the car seat into the stroller, and the stroller goes almost flat so we used it for walks starting around 1 month old. Unless you live in a rural community with no sidewalks. The only time I had an issue was using it on cobblestone. I strongly prefer the Bugaboo Butterfly with Nuna adapters over the Nuna Trvl! The butterfly is sturdier, taller, and overall better quality - the Trvl is basically a marked up Joie Nutmeg, which is $239 (Joie and Nuna have the same parent company) and it definitely feels like it’s worth that rather than the premium Nuna price. Anyway, besides that, you’ve got a great plan! I recommend collapsing the stroller in the gate area before boarding if you have enough hands to carry everything- a couple times when I’ve been flying without another adult and rolled the stroller all the way to the plane before folding it, gate agents and/or FAs have given me some suspicious looks when I promise them that it’ll fit onboard.

You’re going to want to find a travel stroller that is compatible with a car seat. For example, the babyzen yo-yo stroller is excellent for travel and has adapters to click in an infant seat depending on brand. The nuna trvl is another excellent travel stroller that clicks in only the nuna pipa infant seat, no other brands are compatible. Another is the bugaboo butterfly with the added attachments to click in an infant seat. One more is the ergo baby metro, again you have to buy attachments for infant seat compatibility. All of the strollers I just listed fit in the overhead bin of an airplane and fold up very easily.

Can you use the Doona as a car seat for airplanes? You'd have to buy an extra seat, but it is safer than having an infant sitting in your lap. (There's a recent NYT article from March on this.) This doesn't mean you won't need a travel stroller, but it gives you time to use at least one stroller to know what you like and don't like before purchasing one. You didn't list your budget? If you really do want a travel stroller, the Nuna Trvl Lx stroller can be a travel system with its infant car seat. The stroller also has a cocoon mode that's you can use from birth without the car seat or extra bassinet (although check with your pediatrician since the recline looks a bit high). Nuna is certified greenguard gold. A con though is that their seatback heights tend to be a few inches shorter than other strollers, so if you have a taller baby, then they will outgrow their Nuna stroller. Uppababy Minu V3 is similar but I think their seatback height is higher and they have car seat adapters compatible with other brands if you don't want to use their infant car seat. Both Uppababy and Nuna car seats can be used on airplanes. You can purchase a stroller travel bag for Minu and register it before flying so if you can't stash it in the cabin overhead, then damages from gate checking it will be covered. If the Minu V3 was available when I was looking, that probably would have been my top choice. Unfortunately it wasn't and there weren't many NB compatible travel strollers at the time. I ended up getting a Joolz Aer+ with their bassinet attachment. Someone mentioned Joie and I own the Joie Hazel myself for daily walks. I just got off a call with them for troubleshooting something else and confirmed that they do add flame retardants to all of their products. It is in compliance with CA Prop 65, but that just could mean another flame retardant that hasn't been tested/banned yet.

We got the Nuna Travel LX with the urbn infant car seat and love it. Zero regrets. It was one of the lightest strollers we demo’d and easiest to fold, pack away. I constantly take babe around town, on walks, or drive her out and about and it’s been very easy and freeing. We also traveled with it (babe is now 4.5 months) and having a car seat that easily latches in without having to also bring a base is GREAT. The stroller also came with a travel bag which was nice and the price has decreased a lot since when we bought it. I’ve heard Grace came out either something very similar to what we have for way less so worth checking out. We thought about getting the Doona but when we tried it, it was way too heavy for me to think about lifting pp and it’s also a very low stroller so you really got bend over/doen to put babe in and out. Have also heard good things about the bugaboo butterfly if you want something lightweight and travel friendly.

TRVL has bigger wheels than the Minu V2, so it should be better over rough ground. The TRVL LX has even bigger wheels of you still want bigger, and still folds compact. The Minu V2 already has bigger wheels than other strollers in its class (Joolz Aer+ and Bugaboo Butterfly), so I don't think either of those would be an improvement in the ride department. The Guzzie & Guzz Oxygen V2 stroller has 6.8 in / 6 in rear/front wheels, respectively, which are also bigger than the Minu's. Another option is the Peg Perego Vivace, which has 7 in wheels and also a reversible seat, but still folds fairly compact. It's around 21 lbs though, so heavier than ultracompacts. The Cybex Beezy (make sure it's the 2024 model, or newer) also has fairly big wheels and folds relatively compact.

When we had our first kiddo the person at the “fancy local baby store” said “everyone in San Francisco has at least 2-3 strollers” and I thought “who are these fancy people with all their disposable income and tons of storage space.” I will say this salesperson DID NOT try to upsell us on strollers and suggested we get the UppaBaby Cruz V2, I was more than willing to buy the Vista V2 but gave us good reasons to not get the Vista (even if we were planning on having a 2nd kid less than 3 years after the first.) Which we keep in and our door locked vestibule area. 6 months later we bought a travel stroller, Nuna TRVL, right before a cross country trip because we realized how bulky it is to travel with the CRUZ V2 after having to put it in/out of our Subaru trunk area, and it had the convenience of not needing an adapter when using our Nuna Pipa car seat. We keep the stroller in the trunk of our car when not flying. 2 years later we now had 2 kids and bought a VEER CITY wagon 4-seater (during an Annual REI 30% sale), we originally bought the adapter to click in the Nuna Pipa car seat for the newest addition but that kiddo was not loving the car seat so much so we bought the additional SwitchBack seat with newborn inserts (which were not used for that long). We keep this one in our garage, and use it for longer local trips on foot. Before we got the stroller wagon we considered a double stroller and even considered an e-stroller double stroller because a hill we tackle daily is a 14% incline, but after a lot of back and forth between a double stroller versus Stroller Wagon, but realized the extra carrying capacity of our Stroller Wagon is helpful for us, and hoping we’d get maybe a few more years of usage out of it versus the carrying capacity/weight limitations of a double stroller. I also realized I’d rather push the stroller wagon or the Cruz V2 up a 14% incline with the weight distribution versus a double stroller (in any of the available configurations on the market.) We also added the stroller board to our Cruz V2, but usually we baby wear the youngest if using the Cruz V2 or Travel Stroller if we have both kids, because unlike Rose in Titanic our Toddler WILL NOT LET GO OF JACK (Jack being the stroller seat) especially not for the baby.

You may like the Minu if you’re using it a lot. It will fit in the backseat easily and is pretty sturdy for a travel stroller. We have the V2 and it’s nice for using during car based errands. We also have the Trvl and I wouldn’t recommend this one because it gets rickety pretty fast. Can’t speak to the upgraded version as ours is the base version. It’s also bigger when folded than a lot of the others on your list. At least if the base Trvl is still pulling you in, you may want to check out the version from Joie since it’s cheaper.

I think the challenging thing I’m seeing here is that you don’t plan on using an infant bucket seat - I had a similar wish list, and in my research there weren’t many travel strollers that were “newborn ready” without a bucket seat or bassinet attachment. All options that I found required some head control (about 4 months old minimum) before you could safely use the seat. I think maybe the new Nuna Trvl LX miiight be newborn ready? The bugaboo butterfly was awesome but technically not newborn safe (though there are hacks…which I was not willing to do with my newborn haha). We went with the Nuna triv next for the one hand, compact fold. We did end up going with a bucket seat instead of straight to convertible for convenience, but it had an option for the bassinet attachment as an alternative. We are in the northeast and used it in the winter without issue. We love it so far…but we really could only switch to the regular seat (even fully reclined) when she was 4.5 months old.

Nuna Triv meets all of your requirements! It’s a little more than a travel stroller but so easy to get in and out of the car. It takes up such a small amount of trunk space - we love it so far as our one and done! It also has the option for a bassinet attachment and the seat goes forward or parent facing. We are planning to fly soon and will just gate check it with a bag. We are similar - not a lot of international travel planned, so it was more important for me to have a little more space & options.

We owned the Nuna trvl already but boy did I feel like a champion with that in the parks. Not a perfect 180 lie flat but very very close. I’ll never forget the look on a dad’s face in the bus line when I collapsed it with a single button push (holding the baby in my other arm!) while he was fighting for his life with his stroller. It’s not amazing for bumpy/cobblestone roads (it’s a travel/light weight after all) but that’s very much not a problem at WDW.

We have the Uppababy Vista, Bugaboo Butterfly, and Nuna Triv. The Triv was purchased after we found out our baby wasn’t ready for the Butterfly yet, he would always cry after like 30 minutes in it as I think he was overwhelmed and wanted to be parent-facing. The butterfly says it’s for 6+ months, but from what I’ve read many babies aren’t ready to be world-facing yet at that age. So we got the Triv as it has a reversible seat and is still fairly compact. The Vista is just big and heavy to be lifting in and out of the car imo, but it’s definitely the smoothest and nicest ride for both of us. We used the Vista mainly for long neighborhood walks and we have been using the toddler seat with infant insert since baby was about 3 months because he wanted to look around more. Will probably get a wagon when he’s closer to one year, and maybe a running stroller at some point. Just fyi, our baby grew out of the infant seat right before six months and we never took it out of the car much anyway, so having a stroller that attaches may not be as big of a deal as you think. Car seats are not really recommended for extended durations anyway and aren’t as comfortable for many babies as a bassinet or stroller seat with infant insert. That is also the feedback I’ve heard on the Doona - some people really love it but personally I would never use it. Yes, we are those people who spend thousands on strollers… we are lucky to be in a postion where these aren’t “big” purchases for us. Definitely not true that everyone really needs multiple strollers like this. You can also get a carrier and choose to carry baby around rather than bringing a stroller with you when traveling, for example. But you can get popular strollers fairly cheap used if you are finding you have a specific need not met by your main stroller.

Our Nuna Trvl is fantastic. The folding mechanism is so helpful when gate checking. It also weighs very little compared to other strollers and folds down quite small. We have taken it on multiple trips, including a trip to Europe. We also use it as our everyday stroller. We do have a Nuna car seat, so in the early days/months we’d pop the car seat into the stroller.

I’ve read that some airlines may not treat wagons the same as strollers as far as their stroller policy. You might want to look into that if you anticipate airline travel. ETA: I’d recommend a Nuna Trvl if you’re a frequent airline traveler. It’s lightweight and folds easily. I’ve never put it in the overhead bin, but it’s marketed to fit. I’ve always put it in its bag and gate checked it. Regardless of what you choose, be sure to buy a travel bag.

Honestly, I don't use a stroller as much as I thought I would. I have four. Evenflo Pivot Xpand-Given to me as a gift. Pros: Pretty great for a toddler and newborn. I really love the fact that the car seat can click into the stroller. And the bassinet feature is another thing I love. I can bring a baby carrier and just the bassinet and use it for either baby. I let my toddler run around while baby lies in the bassinet. Then put baby in the carrier while the toddler sits in the bassinet/toddler chair. Cons: The frame is pretty flimsy. Feels like it'll break within a year of constant use because it squeaks and moves side to side easily. Hate the fact that it comes with a detachable cup holder. When you're going through the door or putting it in the vehicle, it falls off and rolls away lol. I just ended up buying the Momcozy stroller organizer for it. Very bulky and heavy. It's hard to bring up and down stairs, especially in double stroller mode. But it is a double stroller lol. The soft spongy handle gets ruined pretty easily. We had ours in the back of a truck and I got it out and the handle was shaved down. :( Evenflo Pivot Travel System-Given as a gift. Essentially the same points as the Xpand. Just no double mode. The bassinet that comes with it does lay flatter than the Xpand bassinet though. Larktale Crossover Convertible Stroller/Wagon-Bought myself while on sale. Actually really loved it initially. Pros: 2 in 1. Can easily turn into a stroller or wagon given the circumstances. I like all the accessories it came with. Pretty durable and we used it in the mountains on trails and stuff. Cons: It was difficult to turn into stroller or wagon mode initially. Sometimes the pull handle would pop out if you didn't put it on properly. Never used the second seat. The wheel fell off on the third use. One of the clips in the front fell off while my baby was in the wagon and I had to Macgyver it back together. I hate that I can't see baby. I would genuinely prefer a Wonderfold so I can see baby in front of me. Bily Easy Compact Umbella Fold & Swing-Away Canopy Deluxe Umbrella Stroller-Given as a gift. Eh. Typical cheap umbrella stroller. Kinda of difficult to open or close. We can hang it up but it does fall open a bit. Do love the convenience of it. But it is long. My heart is really set on the Nuna Trvl. If you can afford it, I'd splurge on that. I've used it every chance I got whenever I can. And it's sooo compact. So all in all, I think if I could. I'd splurge on the Wonderfold W2, Nuna Trvl, and keep my Pivot Xpand lol. Really try to test them in store as much as you can. Fold them up, unfold it, lift it every way possible, try the straps, run around the store with it if you have to lol

I think there’s a few things here: 1. Part of what makes stroller shopping so hard is the attempt to “have it all.” Realistically no stroller will truly do it all. Once you find comfort in knowing what it needs to do for you, you can rest a little easier and ignore what doesn’t apply. 2. Personally I decided that I wanted to prioritize lightweight & infant compatibility without using the car seat, so I narrowed down to that “cohort” (yoyo, bugaboo butterfly, joolz aer +, nuna trvl) 3. Once I narrowed it down I used some desktop research to eliminate (eg too much bad reviews on yo-yo for me) but the biggest driver at this point was interacting with the strollers in store! On paper I could have spent forever trying to debate Bugaboo and Joolz. In store — the stroller picked me. For whatever reason I kept crashing the bugaboo and had no problems with Joolz. In conclusion- half the battle is defining your criteria half the battle is going in person to see for yourself and then after that it’s just sticking to your convictions as you keep getting bombarded with marketing and advice where people apply their own needs and declare their choice the end all be all! You got this!!

To me people are usually between bugaboo butterfly, uppababy minu, aer Joolz. If you don’t need it to fit in overhead compartment for flights then Nuna TRVL maybe. Agree with the other poster if you can go somewhere to test drive and do the fold etc, see handlebar height, basket size, that’s usually most helpful. For example on the surface Joolz and Bugaboo seem soo similar but for whatever reason I kept bumping into things with the Bugaboo (using the dummy doll inside for weight) so I went for Joolz. Good luck!

I’ve got the nuna trvl - it’s solid and great as a day to day pram (particularly if you have a small car) as well as a travel pram. The one handed fold down is great and it comes with all the accessories / has pretty decent basket storage. The lie flat works well for sleep - the seat is probably not as straight up as standard prams.  But (big but) it does not fit on a plane (they might tell you it could; but you can tell it’s bigger than other travel prams eg yo-yo etc). You’ll need to gate check it or check it in. Ultimately this hasn’t been a problem for me (the pram has gone on multitudes of short and long haul rides and still going strong) but I didn’t realise it when I bought it.

I think you need to see the context you live in. Like, I live in a very old town in Europe so our sidewalks and streets are VERY uneven and made of cobblestones, so I prioritize getting a stroller with big wheels and nice suspensions, and with a very sturdy frame. We settled for the Nuna Demi next and I'm very happy with it. It is big and a bit cumbersome to pack in the car, but I use it far more to walk around my neighborhood than to do errands. We recently acquired a travel one (the Nuna trvl xl. we are travelling soon) and boy is it a nightmare to maneuver it on cobblestones, but very foldable, lightweight and compact. We chose everything from the same brand so everything would be compatible without a hassle and adapters. And honestly I'm very happy with my choice.

I had the Nuna Pipa LX and urbn car seat combo, which I loved. The car seat had anchor attachments on it with a quick release button on the handle so it was super easy to install and uninstall in the car and on the stroller. I used the car seat until my son was 11 months and grew out of it, but can use the stroller until he’s 40 or 50lbs iirc. I only used the car seat in the stroller until he was about 5 months and was sitting upright himself, then sat him front facing without the car seat. We went everywhere with that stroller, including theme parks. I would def recommend a system like this especially if you’re going to have only one car seat. The stroller is awesome and lightweight and travels great - it even has a travel bag!

This is the answer. Definitely wouldn’t consider it cheap, especially for a travel stroller, but the seat does fit in and it’s a really handy travel stroller even after they outgrow the infant seat (so a better investment than just a click-in infant system). Super lightweight and fits in the overhead bin of an airplane. We brought this abroad with our Pipa RX and were really happy with it.

We used the Nuna trvl stroller. It super lightweight and goes almost completely flat for baby to lay down. We started using it when he was around 3 months old. We bought a head support pillow to use with it until he was 6 months old. Personally I would probably baby wear until baby was a bit bigger. Not sure I would have been comfortable using it when he was a newborn. We had a different stroller that fit his car seat when he was little but I found it way too big to fit in the car. Couldn’t get grocery’s in with the stroller which is why we switched to Nuna and I love it. It so light and easy to use. Should also add that I had a big baby. He’s 99% for both height and weight. We stopped using the bucket seat because he was so big and I wasn’t going to buy another huge stroller system with a bassinet for a few month of use.

FTM went through so many strollers. We have 1 baby and will have a 2nd about 1.5-2 years apart. Live in the city but also have a car and use it often, major walkers and also loads of snow. Had the graco and evenflo (doubles strollers for a 2nd future baby). Threw these out (sold one and one is at grandmas). I couldn’t put them in the car (I could but the hassle and time it would, was too long). Had to put the chair part from the frame to put in the car as it’s not a 1 fold. We live in a city and car theif is super high in public, malls, i wasn’t taking a chance with Lo locked in the car while in taking 2 mins to fold and put the stroller away. Anyways, for everyday strollers (errands in car) Nuna travel, one hand fold, automatic, good sunshade, very easy to put in the car and unfold with one hand. I don’t use this for long walks though, but errands in the city, malls, daycare etc. not good on snow but inbetween. The yoyo one I believe was the next best one. I wouldn’t use these on on baby under 9 months though since they are not parent facing. Maxi corsi Stella i think, great suspension, horrible handle, lift, still big, heavy. Overall win: for walking, errands by foot, longgg walks, bad weather, can go car friendly but still big for my taste. But it’s infant to toddler friendly, comes with a bassinet, chair, can add 2 kids or just 1 with bassinet to seat depending on model, love their sun shades, handle is comfortable. We got the Uppababy cruz better for the city less wide than the vista. cruz can hold only 1 child but comes with a stand board, forward and rear facing.. snack tray is good. I love this stroller for everyday. Comes with a car seat which is totally comfortable for Lo and easily detachable to my frame to base. We bought it used on FB as I didn’t understand the Uppababy hype.. but I wish I got this one for my first. Also customer service is great with their questions. For strong winters (we have snow and low as -20 but we don’t go outside but for snow air filled tires are best) we got a bob for jogging with ours now, and it’s been great but it’s for camping, jogging, winter times outside. Huge though but if you go outside for winter often air filled tires are the best.

We tried them out in person, strongly recommend if you have a store close to you. We went with the Nuna because it was the only one tall enough for my 6'4" husband. The uppababy at its tallest height worked for me at 5'10". Neither needs a bassinet. Nuna lays completely flat as it is. And the uppababy has a relatively affordable insert that will make it flat for a newborn, I think it's $50-$75.

I still use it with my 2 year old because he has global delays. I’m due with baby 2 next month and the UB Minu Duo just arrived today. I wanted a side by side, rather than the tandem double. I highly recommend checking out travel strollers, like the UB Minu v3 or Nuna Trvl. You’ll get a lot more mileage out of those than the Doona. Minu is highly rated as both a travel and everyday stroller.

We stay in FL for a long chunk of time so I was going to get the Nuna TRVL that way she has a non-car seat option for her daily stroller walks! And we already got the Nuna Pipa Aire car seat which clicks into it too. I just don’t want to gate check a Nuna 😂

I have a Nuna Trvl DUBL and use it daily for pickup/drop off for my 3.5yo and 1.5yo. It's great that it's lightweight and incredible easy fold. People stop me all the time when they watch me take it in/out of my trunk. It is wide and can be difficult to get through doors. I've taken it grocery shopping and does great with the GIANT under carriage. That said, I have wild boys and let's be honest a 3.5yo isn't getting strapped in. Any bump or crack can cause the stroller to very harshly tip forward and any climbing can cause it to fall over backwards. The single bar is a bit of a hassle. It's tough saying this after spending $850 on it.. it feels flimsy 🫠I'm looking at other double strollers because it just isn't practical with two very active boys that also love their stroller

I have the Nuna Trvl DUBL - I got it the second it came out for my 3yo and 1 yo and use it daily for pickup/drop off. It's lightweight and the one handed fold is truly incredible. The under carriage is GIANT. I've taken it grocery shopping and can shove everything and more underneath it. That said.. the lack of accessories is hard and ay 30.5" it is pretty wide and a tight squeeze through doors. My biggest thing is it will tip over forward going over any bump, and it falls backwards often just from my kids climbing into it. It looks and feels a little flimsy and the one handle bar is actually a hassle. Both kids can take it off easily.  My local kids store just got the Uppababy Minu Duo and I'm fairly certain I'm going to get that instead. It's smaller, 2lbs heavier and the basket is honestly not great. The bar on the middle makes it so a stuffed diaper bag can't easily go in. The fold/unfold is pretty compatible to other Uppababy strollers (we have the Vista V2 and Minu V2). That said, it's STURDY. My older kiddo was hanging from the handle bar a little and it didn't tip over. The slimmer width made it so I can easily go through doors and you can buy accessories.  My TLDR: if you have 2 calm kids or an infant and toddler, Nuna Trvl DUBL is amazing!! If you have wild kids or go over not perfectly smooth sidewalks, it's not great

I've got a very big (both heavy and very tall) baby. I love our minu. I tested both the TRVL and the minu and though the TRVL had some features I preferred, ultimately the minu won out for us. The TRVL seemed fine for height but the seat seemed narrower. And the few things I did like better on the TRVL seem resolved with the new version of the minu.

I did! I love it. It was absolutely the right decision for me. I went to the store to test the in lines and they were just all so bulky and heavy. I had a nuna mixx for my single stroller, which is so nice, BUT it’s heavy and a pain to take in and out of the car. I wanted something lighter. I wound up buying the nuna trvl and I LOVE how I can close it with one hand, lift it into the trunk, all while holding my toddler as an ex. It has been extremely helpful for me when I am solo with both. My toddler also loves that she sits next to baby and I loved that one wouldn’t be behind the other kicking later down the road. The one down side imo is it takes up a lot of space on sidewalks. In my neighborhood the whole sidewalk lol Fwiw I didn’t buy my stroller until after baby was born. I wasn’t sure I needed one and my first HATED the stroller until she was one. For the longest time I felt like my stroller was a waste and was happy it was a gift lol. I learned once the second was here I needed the double asap because I’m on the go so much and because my baby is honestly pretty easy about it (could be perspective, my first was terribly colicky so a baby who sleeps is a dream for me).  Last comment but I’ve heard anecdotally that a side by side will last longer. I know that’ll depend on each child’s size and temperament and height but just throwing it out there too. I also like that both will be able to seat themselves in the stroller opposed to me always lifting one for the higher seat of the inline

Wobbly? No not at all. It hasn’t tipped but it did struggle over an aggressive tree root that invaded a sidewalk by my house. My Nuna mixx in the past did not. They are definitely different strollers. If someone wasn’t paying attention I could see that root and similar things being an issue with the trvl double

Oooh you might not. They are quite different imo. The mixx is so study and glides reeeeally well. For me it was just too cumbersome esp with two children. Such a pain to take out of my car. The selling point for me on the trvl double was that close. It is so incredibly handy with the two of them when I’m solo. And light.  And now that number two is older…it’s soooo cute to see them sit side by side and I am VERY happy I got a side by side instead of a tandem.  But strollers are a very personal choice because our lifestyles are all so different. Can you go to a store and push one around? I feel like Nordstrom would have one by now

I get that! I could never use a wagon for grocery shopping! My children are young enough that they don’t even notice seat size difference. Older sits in the smaller seat because sometimes I use the car seat in there if younger is sleeping.  My older LOVES having her baby sis next to her. And now that little is getting bigger she sits there and watches big sis. It’s soooo cute. But. Older did try to wake younger up in the beginning lol Edit to add - there is no perfect stroller. I understand your struggle lol

I didn’t read all the posts before posting mine but…I’m a midtown girl with two kids now. Someone mentioned that strollers are very neighborhood specific. In midtown, I need agility, need to fit on buses and trains and need a super easy fold to fit in my apartment hallway. Also wanted good handling for broken sidewalks and inconsistent ramps. A decent basket was a plus. I chose the Nuna TRVL. Not cheap but has a bit more heft and bigger wheels than the butterfly and aer. (Though the butterfly improvements are intriguing to me). Downside to TRVL is it’s not guaranteed to fit in an airplane overhead bin. We’ve fit it twice internationally but haven’t tried domestic/smaller planes. The TRVL handles really well. I’ve gotten so used to popping up the front wheels when I see something uneven. It’s second nature now. Because you can hit something and come to an abrupt stop. The basket is big enough for a trip to the grocery store. And when you have a kid in the stroller, you can hang a bag or backpack on the handles. But remove it before taking your kid out or the stroller will tip. It’s light enough to carry up and down stairs but I don’t want to carry it super long. The fold is the best on the market. Literally folds itself and stands up well. I researched a ton and even ended up with the TRVL double when baby two came. I love the TRVL as my daily stroller and don’t think it gets enough love. I could never deal with a big stroller. I don’t love using my double stroller as I just take up way too much room in the world. Ha. All this being said, I also have the GB pockit for airplane travel and trips that we want to be super minimal. But the fold and push is way more cumbersome. Not a good daily stroller at all.

It is not a one hand fold completely, but the first part that needs two hands can be done while the baby is still sitting in it. It is actually really handy being able to fold down the top / handle, in cafes it makes it very compact or you can push it right under the table. Once you’ve done that part, it is a one hand fold.

I have the Nuna DUBL. It is the smoothest stroller ever. I love it. It fits the Nuna pipa car seat with ease. It’s a little odd tho because one seat is bigger than the other to support a car seat if needed and to keep it slim enough to fit through standard door frames. I did also get a tandem stroller because the side by side is awkward when I am alone taking the kids to doctors appointments or going into crowded stores or sharing slim sidewalks with other people.

All of the above! Went with the Stokke Yoyo and love it, mostly because it’s super compact and durable. I live in a city where I mostly walk instead of drive. We also live in a smallish apartment instead of a house so a very small footprint matters. With my four-year-old, I previously had the Doona (great for the city but such a short duration of use) and the Nuna Triv (did not care for the suspension and found the seems of the wheels started to split after significant mileage, but this may not be a big deal if you aren’t walking as much). We bought him a secondhand, older generation Yoyo for travel and then switched to it as his primary. That thing was in great shape for its age! For my infant, we bought a new Yoyo with the newborn attachment and so far it’s been great. Very easy to fold even with the flat newborn feature.

We also got the infant insert for the stroller so you don’t need to get the bulky bassinet and can still use it from birth. The nuna trvl stroller is super lightweight and has a one handed fold- it also lays flat so your baby can use it from birth. The car seat also clicks into that as well if you want another stroller that’s better for traveling!

Nuna Pipa and Nuna Triv. I had the Nuna Pipa and Nuna Mixx with our second. Loved it but wanted the stroller to be slightly more compact fold and a local baby boutique had the Triv limited Designer edition one with rainbow paint splatter print canopy and extra black canopy on sale from $1000 to $750 so I'm getting that one. Nuna is worth every penny and has a high resale value. 3 years of everyday use and I was able to sell my Mixx stroller for over $500 when I was done with it. That and the quality and feel of the products are well worth it. The dream drape feature on the Pipa is the best.

I think you’d be better off investing in hiking gear to carry baby vs trying to find a stroller you hike with. On uneven ground we mainly babywear and it’s perfectly fine. We prioritized a very hardworking travel stroller with car seat that uses a latch system — the Nuna Trvl. We’ve traveled with it extensively for 2 years and it’s lightweight enough to haul around for apartment living, folds in one button and is quite small when folded.

Nuna Trvl, Triv or Swiv meet all your criteria! They are outstanding. Personally I like our Trvl the best (it’s our only stroller! I recently tried out the others when helping a friend shop for strollers) bc I can push a button and it auto-collapses. It’s really great if you’re alone with baby.

Nuna Trvl is the best on the market; I will defend it til I die. It’s the lightest weight, the one button collapse can be done one handed and it can be carried one handed, and the infant car seat it comes with is the most flexible you’ll find on the market (can use a base or latch system, so it’s easy to swap it between cars or bring traveling). It is also STRONG. We’ve used it as our only stroller for 2 years and have traveled around the world with it several times, it has handled a brutal Midwest city winter, gate checks super well, and it’s extremely small space friendly if that’s a concern (without being psychotically miniature like the Doona, which will break your back in a week). The ONLY downside to it imo is the storage bin under the seat is quite small — but it has to be because the stroller has an amazingly small footprint without suffering any loss of quality or function. I literally went stroller shopping today (expecting #2 and looking at options) and tried every Nuna, Bugaboo, Uppababy, Mockingbird on the floor… none of them came close in ease of use to the Trvl.

Hear me out — a 2 year age gap might get you a toddler who doesn’t need a stroller anymore. So I agree that buying the stroller that works today is the winning choice. You might get lucky and get away with avoiding a future change up. We did. My eldest was 26 months when baby brother arrived and I couldn’t justify spending another thousand bucks on a double stroller when he was so happy to walk, so I took a wait and see approach if we’d reaaaaaally need both kids in a stroller that often. So far we have not. I swear by the Nuna Trvl so hard. The ONLY thing that could be better about it is the basket is fairly small. But the next option up (the Swiv) has a bigger basket yet a much inferior/more manual folding mechanism. IMO you literally can’t beat the Trvl bc it’s the lightest, has the best one-handed auto fold, best infant bucket seat, and is really quite heavy duty so you can treat it as your daily as well as your travel stroller.

It doesn’t fit in the overhead on a crowded flight but you can gate check it and it’s a very very airport friendly stroller. I have flown solo parenting with a baby at 9 weeks and at 7 months and it was fantastic, easy to wrangle through TSA and it’s sturdy enough for gate checking. We’ve done about 10 flights with it in 2 years and zero damage. And yes it is our daily, still going strong as a daily with kid #2. We live in an urban area in a cold city and it’s great in all weather, even ice and salt and rain. I wouldn’t take it hiking but it can handle some gnarly tree roots, sidewalk cracks, and grass with some focus if you’re walking in an unpaved area like crossing a patch of park with an older kid.

I’m due in July and plan to travel and spend time in both urban and suburban environments. I also have a compact car. I got the Nuna TRVL lx and pipa urbn, both great for travel. The only considerations are that the stroller doesn’t have a bassinet attachment and a parent facing option. Not a huge deal for me initially but I had an insomnia / pre tariff price increase freak out purchase where I also ended up buying a full size stroller, Cybex Balios S Lux 2 Stroller + Cot S Lux 2 Bundle, from Albee baby which was heavily discounted because the color way was discontinued. So now I have two 😅 but no regrets!

I’ve never seen someone fold their stroller on public transport. I haven’t carried the stroller yet but my husband has had to once or twice when we were somewhere without an accessible entrance. We haven’t had issues with elevators in T stations.

I have the TRVL lx and like it! I am finding it really convenient for quick trips like appts, taking public transport, going into stores, etc. I am both in an urban and suburban environment. It’s super lightweight, easy to use and maneuver, and fits in the trunk of our compact car. We have the pipa urbn car seat that pops right in. The only things to consider are it doesn’t have a parent facing option, is not compatible with a bassinet, and doesn’t fit in a plane overhead compartment. If I were to look again, I might consider the joolz aer because it’s a travel stroller but it has a bassinet attachment option and is overhead compartment compatible, though I haven’t tested it out in person. I originally was OK with just the TRVL but then realized I really wanted a stroller that has a bassinet attachment option. I ended up buying the cybex balios s lux with the bassinet attachment as well, and have been really enjoying it for outdoor walks. The bassinet has also come in handy as a place for the baby to sleep when we’re out. It’s full size but nowhere near as big as the vista which a lot of my friends have. I feel kind of crazy having two strollers but am happy that I will have options based on what activity we’re doing. The strollers on your list vary greatly so you might want to decide what is the best for your lifestyle. For example the TRVL is a small lightweight travel stroller and the gazelle is a full size stroller that can convert to a double.

Second the Triv. Tbh I don’t really see the point in having the MIXX maybe unless I didn’t have a car and lived on the first floor somewhere or had an elevator to a huge apartment. It’s big and heavy and I sure didn’t want to be lugging that in and out of our car. We have crappy sidewalks in our town and the triv is fine. If I’m going somewhere with terrain I’m going to baby-wear and not bother with the stroller. Someday we’ll probably get an umbrella stroller for airplane travel but it’s still not totally necessary.

Even my husband was struggling a little and he’s a big guy. Me personally I am not fit enough with the upper body strength to deal with it and I would be scared id drop the baby or something and that ruins the whole convenient ideal I had in my mind. I opted to get a travel stroller instead, specifically the Nuna TRVL LX with the pipa urban car seat. It was on sale as a bundle from Nordstrom and I love the easy one handed fold of the stroller, I love that the car seat doesn’t need a base to be installed, and that I can use the stroller even when the baby outgrows the car seat.

I worked at a baby store in college so I used to sell strollers to all types of people. I’m also a FTM and recently purchased one for myself. I will say that it’s an extremely personal choice - what works for you and yours may not work for me. For example, I live in a city with rough brick sidewalks - so good wheels and suspension were important to us. We also haven’t met our baby yet and don’t know what their temperament will be, so shelling out $800+ for a stroller seems risky. I have plenty of friends/family who have expensive strollers collecting dust in their cars/basements. We looked at the UppaBaby, Nuna, and a lot of the other popular systems on the market and decided they wouldn’t work for us. We loathed the Doona (my husband is 6’5) and weren’t overly impressed with the Graco / Chiccos we saw at Target. We found a boxed and brand new Baby Jogger City Mini at a discount store and bought it for a great price. My husband is obsessed with it already. It’s a brand I used to sling at the store and it’s very functional / in line with what we were looking for. I suggest testing out as many as possible, if you can. There aren’t many baby stores left, but Nordstrom has some on display. Rei might as well. Target as a few. Unsure about Walmart. And I think talking to parents who are out and about when you see them pushing strollers can be helpful. But default on your own judgement and prioritize your needs. Also, if your baby is going to be born in colder months, or if you’re not ready to commit to a brand/type, you may want to hold off or just get a snap n go system.

I’m in San Diego and love my Nuna TRVL LX. Newborn ready (lays flat), Pipa clips in without attachments, I take it for daily 60 min walks on cement. 15 pounds and folds very compact. However baby faces forward if in the stroller (but faces you if in the car seat)

Nuna trvl or Joie nutmeg! Depending on your price point, obviously the Nuna ranks a bit higher in quality. Both allow you to click the car seat onto the stroller with no adapter needed, and without removing the stroller seat.

Cybex and Nuna are better than Mockingbird as a general brand guideline. But it sounds like you want more of a travel or mid size stroller rather than a full sized one - full sized ones (like the Vista) are nice and typically have a lot of bonus features, better steering, etc, but they're pretty big and bulky and not super easy to take places. I personally have a full sized one for at home use walking the dog regularly, and then a smaller travel stroller for the car. If I was going somewhere that would be all day or tons of walking I'd bring the big one but for just a quick trip to the park it's not worth the hassle. So for travel strollers, I'd look at the uppababy minu v3 or the nuna trvl. Bugaboo butterfly is also solid but it's pricier. Those will all fold up easily and fit in the car pretty well. They do have lighter frames and aren't quite as sturdy or smooth of a push as a bigger stroller. Another option would be the uppababy Cruz or nuna mixx, which are in between the two. Not quite full sized so easier to travel with but not as compact as a full on travel stroller. It'll have a better push and be a little sturdier but without all of the bulk of a full sized. Bugaboo's version (again, very nice but pricey) is the dragonfly. I'm not as familiar with cybex's models but my stroller obsessed MIL likes them!

I tried the Nuna TRVL in store and its a bit sturdier than the Joolz, but I don't believe its small enough to be compliant with airplane overheard compartment so you'd need to check it, so I feel like that defeats the whole purpose another factor for me is my sister is passing down her travel stroller to me, the Babyzen Yoyo. she hates it haha she says its annoying to close up, but we're gonna give it a try. So i'm planning to return the Joolz completely and just go with the Nuna Triv, and use my sisters travel stroller. I think if I didnt have the one from my sister I'd keep the Joolz. heck I might end up getting the Joolz in a future sale if I cant stand the one my sister didnt like. some poeple do seem to check in their main/big strollers for travel and seems ok. that could be something worth researching. but basically I don't think one could get by with using a travel stroller as their one and only stroller if they wanted to do any walks/parks.. if you really love the Joolz/the idea of having a travel light one you could go with that and then see if you can get a free sturdier stroller off your neighborhood Facebook Buy Nothing group. I often see people giving away lower-end strollers/joggers that would be fine for a kid out of the new born phase... just another idea!

I’m a nanny who’s used many strollers, and the Joolz Aer is my favorite! I think you really need a one hand fold and a shoulder strap for the subway. I have the nuna travel for my son, which is a close second. You’ll see a ton of yo-yos, but I find them hard to fold up.

We have a vista for the big stroller and a Bugaboo butterfly for a small stroller. With our second we also recently picked up the Nuna Travl double. Bugaboo butterfly is the best trafvel stroller to answer your question. Fits in overhead bin. Wheels and build are good. fits full size kid. Has decent basket underneath. Go to Albee baby on UWS and demo the options.... plus they'll give you 20% off if you buy in store.

All double strollers are bulky, but we've been really happy with our Nuna Travl double. It's well-made, less than half the weight of an Uppa with the rumble seat, and has good storage underneath. I'd hit up albee baby and check it out along with the new Uppa double equiv if you're dead-set on having a double. We have an 11 month old and a 3.5 year old. Sometimes we throw a baby carrier under the single stroller and use that to carry the 11 month old if the 3.5 year old is too tired to walk and needs the stroller.

I’d posted here recently about me having trouble deciding between the Nuna Dubl travel stroller vs the Uppababy Minu Duo. Just wanted to update that I ended up getting the Nuna Dubl and love it!! I don’t have twins (mine are 13m apart) and the size difference in the seats doesn’t actually bother me. It’s so minimal anyway, like less than 2 inches. The Nuna quality is amazing, and the fold, recline, canopy, bumper bar are all so smooth. I’m excited to travel with it and will be using it as my daily driver as well. I have an Uppababy Vista I will be selling now. And I got a Bumbleride twin travel bag for it from Amazon! Anyways, if anyone is debating which double travel stroller to get, I highly recommend this one. I remember testing out the single Minu last year and didn’t love it, so I am happy with my decision to not wait for the Duo! Happy to answer any questions if I can be of any help :)

I do too! I have an Uppababy Vista as my daily driver and the single Nuna Trvl for traveling. I actually had forgotten that I’d checked out the single Minu in person when I got the single Trvl and had vastly preferred Nuna! I’ll be getting rid of my Vista travel system soon once my younger son is out of the Mesa.

The Nuna different widths is the biggest con for me for that stroller as well. However, I don’t know how long it will be until the Uppababy is available here :( I emailed Uppababy and this was their reply: “Thank you for contacting UPPAbaby. I appreciate your question regarding our products. The Minu Duo is scheduled to be released in the US around Spring of 2025. Then it will be released to the Canadian market shortly after. I am sorry I do not have any specifics regarding the time frame for Canada or the price point. As for the travel bag, I cannot confirm, however, I would think yes, as it is a travel stroller. Please keep checking our website and social media pages for updates.“

I like it! I got the TRVL LX, which has the ability to fully recline into a makeshift bassinet. That was nice, since I didn’t need an add-on bassinet or an attached car seat to have baby sleep in stroller during newborn phase. It’s pretty light, although still a bit of a pain to lug up the stairs, so I could see the Joolz having a slight edge since it’s even lighter and has a shoulder strap. As another poster noted, it’s not the sturdiest - a trade off with it being a lightweight stroller. That hasn’t really been a major concern for me, but it’s noticeable if I’m on a very bumpy sidewalk, if it’s really windy, or if there’s snow (stroller was awful navigating over snow, but that’s true for many). Good luck with whatever you decide!

Im pretty happy with the stroller (have been using it for more than 2 months). My main issue is that it’s a bit heavier than I had anticipated - I live in a 3rd floor walk-up apt, so there are times when I’ve wondered whether the Joolz would have been easier to lug since it’s a few (3 or 4?) lbs lighter and has a carrying strap. I often find myself just plopping the baby in the carrier when I go out for walks bc I don’t want to deal with carrying the stroller up/down the stairs. That said, I love the automatic fold and the full recline of the TRVL LX (no need to add a bassinet attachment for newborn phase), and I do really like the Nuna Pipa urbn car seat, which is only compatible with the TRVL - it’s super easy to pop into the stroller and (usually) into the car. (I don’t own a car so it was important that I had something I could easily use with ride shares / other cars.) The more research I did, the more I became convinced that there isn’t one perfect stroller that checks all my boxes, but I do think these two were ultimately the best options for me.

I wouldn’t say I had anxiety about that, but I get it. I would regularly lift the overhead flap to check on him during walks. (The fact that the flap doesn’t stay open is a minor nuisance tho.) If all things were even, I certainly would prefer a position that would allow me to face my baby (I experience that when I clip in his car seat), but it wasn’t one of the main factors I considered when stroller shopping.

I also have the TRVL LX and the recline feature has been great. Love that I haven’t had to click in a car seat or separate bassinet. It’s not great on snow / rough terrain (as I just discovered), but it’s more important for me to have something lightweight.

Buying a stroller is so stressful!! It's funny because I know so many people who have big expensive stroller, buy a travel stroller around 6ish months for a trip, and end up using the travel stroller as their primary stroller because it's so much more practical. But I do live in a suburb where strollers are mostly used for libraries, grocery shopping, etc rather than tough city sidewalks. I will say that the Uppababy brand is generally worth the prices- great quality, very high resale value (which is nice because you may need a double stroller in 2 years), good customer service, and there is a service center in Brooklyn that will repair or clean the stroller for reasonable prices. I have the Nuna Triv because buying from a completely flame retardant free company was important to me, but sometimes I do wish we had gone with an Uppababy because of the reasons listed above. I do love the Triv though- great size, nice big basket, decent quality overall, etc. I hate to add something else to your list- but have you looked at the new Minu V3? It's the great brand, more affordable than the Cruz, compact like the Joolz Aer, fits Uppababy or Nuna carseats, and overall is an option I would have considered 1.5 years ago if it was available!

We love our Nuna pipa aire and Nuna trvl combo. It makes our commutes and taking baby out a breeze, and we’re super glad the car seat is light (who knew babies get heavy so quickly). I will say it’s not the best at going over bumps in the road though and it definitely on the pricey end.

Similar to the other commenter, we LOVE our vista and use it every day even now at nearly 2 years old. We also have the Nuna TRVL for the car (but used vista in the car for the first 6 months until baby could sit up— didn’t use the car seat feature as much as could be avoided to promote spine health). Also loved the lovevery playmat. Great for development! Not required, but it’s easy if you’re able to get one (bought ours secondhand). Agreed on the hatch.

Very similar here! We have the vista v2 and the TRVL for quick errands and traveling. We love and use both daily! The v2 can technically be a jogging stroller, and I thought about getting a jogging stroller… but I didn’t get back to jogging and now I’m pregnant again and can turn our v2 into a double stroller, so this has been a good set up for our family!

We have a vista and a travel stroller (Nuna bc our infant car seat fits on it without an adapter), and use each daily, just for different purposes like you said. Vista is for walks around the neighborhood to get baby/toddler to sleep and for walking to the grocery store, long days out, and road trips when baby was little and could sleep in the basinet attachment. It’s definitely clunky, but really meets a need for us. Also, we just had our second so it’s a double stroller! Travel is for everyday, quick grocery trips, trips to the zoo that will be only a few hours (but if going for the full day, would swap), going wherever where it’s helpful to have a single hand fold and toss it in the trunk feature.

Two strollers is the way to go. There is not one stroller that does it all. Nuna TRVL for appointments, travel and indoor errands. Folds super compact, one handed fold. Nuna car seat pops right in without any additional adaptors. Jogging stroller if you like to do any sort of outdoor excursions. Parks, any place with bumps or cracks in sidewalks, hiking trails, jogging, etc. We went with the uppabbay ridge jogging stroller, but there are plenty of cheaper options including baby jogger brand. The “do it all” strollers like uppababy vista and the full size nuna strollers were just too heavy and cumbersome for me to lug around and put into the trunk regularly. We used our strollers daily, most of the time both in one day. Trvl stroller to the mall, then Ridge for a walk in the neighborhood. We kept the trvl in our trunk at all times, which was no big deal bc it was so compact.

I would say having a stroller that folds quickly is pretty useful -- sometimes an elevator at an U-Bahn / S-Bahn station isn't working and there's no one around to help. I thought I’d want ONE stroller that “did it all” and grew with our family (aka maybe a vista) but honestly I’m so glad we got 2 strollers and thought more about lifestyle. We got a second hand Cruz and bassinet for home and walks (we walk a lot around our area). But we got a Nuna trvl lx for easy in and out of the car with our car seat and for being out away from home and LOVE IT so much. My advice is think hard about your lifestyle and choose according to that as best you can (if you can try out some at a store that helps too) - but definitely go second hand! There’s tons out there. And places like Goodbuygear.com might have what you want too!

👋 owner of 5 strollers here If I could do it over again and price was no concern, I’d keep our nuna pipa car seat and get the nuna trvl stroller. We got an uppababy minu stroller with adapters and it’s just annoying, and a vista for home which is so massive and only nice when baby was bassinet aged and for walking to the farmers market and loading up the basket. We ended up using the free Nuna stroller I got in a Facebook group instead cause the car seat just clipped in directly even though it took up our whole trunk. If price was of concern, we have a baby jogger that is our second most used stroller cause the graco car seat we got for backup fits in nice, it’s indestructible, and can be used for exercise. Whatever you do I recommend a system that is easily compatible your car seat without adapters.

The tavo model doesn’t have as many of the nice features. For someone who wants the look of a Nuna but cant justify the price. The trvl is nice but keep in mind if one of the major reasons for buying it is stowing it in the overhead compartment of a plane, it doesn’t fit all airlines.

I own a Veer Switchback after going through a number of strollers. Used it on the dirt trails while hiking and all kinds of terrain. LOVE. I would’ve bought it right out the gate had it been available when my son was born. I also bought it second hand in Like New condition for a great deal (there is a dedicated Facebook Group for Veer enthusiasts - you can find great deals, contests, people selling second hand everything Veer along with more detailed & honest reviews) My gripe has been that rear the foot lock plastic part popped out, but I’m whatever about that detail because it doesn’t affect the rest of the functionality. My son is a 2 year old the size of a 4 year old and sometimes trashes in the stroller violently when he has a tantrum & not once has the Veer tipped over. My travel stroller was gifted (Joovy Kooper Single Compact) it did the job on our trip to NYC but when we traveled from Lyon over to Rome & the airline lost our stroller, I splurged and purchased a Nuna TRVL in Florence (& what a difference THAT made on cobblestones in such a great way)
