"lays flat for newborns"
"And we have used it right after birth with both of our kids. It lays completely flat and is safe for newborns indeed. ... It is safe for sleep as long as it is in the completely flat position."
"The Silver Cross Jet does!!"

"the magnetic buckle is super hard to attach with a squirmy baby"
We never used our vista again after babe 2 came. Little got worn and we got a Silver Cross Jet travel for the big. We are heading on our first Disney trip soon and rented the Zoe twin and I’m excited to try it/compare it to how good the silver cross is before committing to the price of the jet double!
r/SAHP • Stroller Recommendations for 2 kids ->Having just purchased a travel stroller, we looked at the stokke yoyo, bugaboo butterfly, uppababy minu v3, silvercross jet 5, and joolz aer -- all comply with most overhead cabin sizing. I would recommend also purchasing the stroller case/carrier so it looks more like a standard carry-on. Some airline staff might make you gate-check regardless of size once they see that it is a stroller. Having the cover/case will reduce that issue.
r/NewParents • Best Overhead Compartment Airplane Stroller ->I have it and I have another travel stroller. It’s mostly good with good wheels but I don’t think it lies down flat enough like the other I have ( silvercross jet ) also the basket is def big enough but I find the seat just to be too short and not long enough.
r/nycparents • Is Joolz stroller good for nyc? ->I got a silver cross jet 5 - light weight (7.5kg), folds up the size of cabin luggage for air travel, I live in a city so I don't really need off roading. Suitable from birth up to 4 years.
r/BabyBumps • Is it possible to have just one stroller?? ->just spent a month researching. my takeaway: Nuna - loved this one the most (mixx or trvl xl) but all of the carseats/accesories make it extra pricey. my fav uber premium option uppababy- i found these all to be kind of rigid and too large. didn't like the vibe but its obvs popular mockingbird - decided on this one and so far love the balance of quality and price point. truly feels strong but also premium, while not being huge, and almost all the features feel obvious instead of buried silver cross - if you really want to go with the most premium it is indeed very nice. graco Modes nest - solid budget option. felt a little on the light/fragile side for me but if lightweight with versatility is important, this one isn't bad at all bugaboo - maybe the one i tried was a janky floor model but i didn't think it was smooth at all. nuna/mock crushed it
r/beyondthebump • Best stroller/travel system ->Silver cross travel prams are great as they took over microlite which was essentially a purely travel brand. We have tried travel cod and pram. Both great and compact.
r/UKParenting • The goldilocks travel stroller - does it exist?? ->We have an older version of Silver Cross Jet which we bought for our first baby 6 years ago. Absolutely amazing stroller unless you are on tough terrain. (We have running stroller that we use if we are going to be on cobblestones or on trails.) We travel with it a lot and never have to gate check it, it is smaller than a carry on when folded and fits in the overhead compartment. And we have used it right after birth with both of our kids. It lays completely flat and is safe for newborns indeed.
r/BabyBumps • Lightweight strollers useable from birth without a car seat? ->Before you decide on the Uppababy…really play with it in person. I felt it was efficient on how it collapse/opens and was still very bulky. I remember there being pinch points when collapsing as well. I was researched and played with Uppababy, Nuna Triv/Swiv/Mixx, and Silver Cross strollers. Ultimately ended up with the Nuna Swiv with no regrets.
r/Buyingforbaby • Looking at all the stroller choices is making me want to pull my hair out! ->Love our jet5. Great for travel, easy to maneuver and folds small. The little foot sack is nice for making baby feel snug
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel Stroller from birth ->Had Silver Cross Wave and loved it. It is a tank - once an idiot on electric scooter ran into the pram in Chelsea turning a corner on a sidewalk, and the baby didn't even wake up, even though the bags fell off. The pram is very heavy, but it worked for me bc we were in central London and I mainly walked places or took a black cab. I kike walking, and having a comfy pram with loads of storage was great. If I had to take the tube, I used our travel pram (Silver Cross Jet). Now that we are in zone 3 and I use the car several days per week, was planning on going with Yoyo after the bassinet stage - the Wave frame is heavy and bulky for the car use.
