I actually have an old 21.5” FHD benq monitor, and I’d like to upgrade it for something more immersive and bigger, since I mostly use the flight sim for IFR practice in the A320 and I feel like the instruments look very small. I’m between these two options. -ASUS TUF 27” Curved QHD 180 Hz (Model VG27WQ3B) -LG UltraWide 29” Flat UFHD 100 Hz (Model 29U511A-B) I would use it exclusively for MSFS (2024), nothing else. Here’s a picture of my actual setup. What would you recommend? Thanks!

Thank you all for your recommendations! I ended up buying an Acer Nitro 34” Curved QHD 180 Hz 🙌

I am in the exact same boat!!! I bought the acer in July for $170 from Costco, but got the LG recently for $270 from my local warehouse. I agree with you that the colors are a little washed on the acer. But honestly I’m not sure the price delta justifies it honestly. Where’s your head at regarding the decision?

Acer was much better stats and enjoyable for gaming. I’ve owned a LG one before and it’s p sensitive (light tap made it break) Acer was a crazy cheap deal also! In house warehouse

I just purchased a ACER NITRO Curved 34" Ultra wide monitor and I love it. I purchase it just because I got a great deal on Amazon. Now, I am looking at Gaming desk tops to really enjoy the monitor.

I hate to say I am not sure, and don't want to give you the wrong information. I would look them both up on Amazon and see if they compare. I have the ACER 34 Ultra wide screen. It's the "ACER NITRO 3440 X 1440, 1000 R Curved.

I have an Acer 34inch 1440 180hz and I got it for $240 at Best Buy. Best bet is just keep scouring and hope for a deal. Or marketplace. I can always find decent deals on there

Low immortal here. I always used to play on a 24 inch display until I got my 32 inch 21:9 ultra wide. At first everything was a mess, as you say, mini map a bit further in the left and the shop a bit further in the map, but you do get more screen on the sides which is a plus After some months I actually got used to it and I could tell that there are only pros for using it. Now, if you get a 45 inch display, that shits gonna be massive, so you should for sure play it in windowed mode.

34 inch monitor, sorry. Yeah, pretty sure is a 21:9, it's an Acer Nitro Ultra wide.
