I have this bulging issue with flat panels as well and I have an Acer Nitro 34" monitor at home. It's just slightly curved. But when I go to work (rarely) and use a flat 27" 4K monitor, it feels like the center is bulging outwards and all apps look odd in the center. Took me really long the first time to get used to it, but I get used to it much faster now. So it doesn't seem related just to Samsung monitors. For me, it just seems going from curved to flat monitors.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Why I'm returning my 57-inch Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 ->I played elite on 3440x1440 on a Acer nitro xc340ckp before it broke I have a laptop with 5980hx and radeon 6800m graphics(its literally a 6700xt put inside a laptop chassis) So if you have any modern GPU it should work very well without any issues, elite isn't really that demanding of a game
r/EliteDangerous • CMDRs running Ultrawide monitors, what Monitor and Graphics cards do you use? ->I just picked up one from Costco for $200 https://www.costco.com/acer-nitro-34%e2%80%9d-class-wqhd-curved-gaming-monitor.product.4000322873.html Works just fine for me
