1706 x 2160 is good for auxiliary content such as Tidal, Instagram, etc., but it's a bit too narrow to work imo. I wouldn't work in anything smaller than 2520 x 2160 on a 5k2k monitor, which is two windows. Of course, you would be able to fit three windows of the same resolution on a 32:9, 2160p monitor such as the Samsung G95NC or the Acer Predator Z57.
