Thats somewhat where I’m at as well: "The 45 isn’t perfect". 165 hz instead of 240 hz for example. I was also hoping Asus would take a jab at LG’s panel like they did with the PG34WCDM (owned previously), so idk.. hence the reason for this post haha
I personally would go with the oled. Im using an asus pg34wcdm uw oled and it was extremely expensive, but it's also been the best monitor I've used. You can find an msi or alienware 27inch oled for a semi reasonable price. Wait for a sale. Can save a few hundred bucks.
