I have a 2020 Dell 34" exact same Rez, looks great.
r/MacOS • An ultrawide curved monitor suitable for a Mac – does this exist at all? ->I'm coming over from Windows as well, but I have a dual 34 inch Ultrawide setup. It works great on the new Mac mini M4 Pro so far. I have a Dell U3419W and an Acer EI342CKR. I have them hooked up to both the Mac mini and my Windows Desktop. The Dell I also have hooked up my work laptop dock and toggle between the different connections as needed.
r/macbookpro • Just switched from Windows to Mac (Macbook Pro M3 Pro), should I get triple monitors, or go the ultrawide screen route?
->I use a Dell Ultrasharp 34” curved wide screen. It’s perfect for my MacBook Pro. It’s also a USB C hub so you only need I cable for power and image which is really handy. It also has lots of usb ports so you can make up for your Mac’s lack of connectivity
r/mac • An ultrawide curved monitor suitable for a Mac – does this exist at all? ->Once you 34-inch, you'll never go bla-----oops--back. On an Ultrasharp 34", 5060Ti 16G, 5700X, 1440p msfs
r/flightsim • Upgraded from a 27 to a 34 inch ultrawide. Definitely a leap forward. ->Dell ultrasharp 34” fits this. Has a mac specific variant i think. Relatively pricy though at least in CDN
r/Monitors • Why are good "Work” monitors so difficult to find? Need a 34” Ultrawide for Mac ->I recently got a 34" Curved Dell Ultrasharp. I was a little bit worried that I would prefer my dual 27" setup, but I really love it as a solo monitor. I mostly play Path of Exile at this stage of my life with the occasional CS2 or single-player game like Cyberpunk or Oblivion. All my games have supported the 21:9 ratio just fine, but of course not every game does. I also do lots of web browsing while watching YouTube or sports. The curved 34" is perfect for everyday usage. My only compliant is the alt-tab I need to do during some games with a solo monitor. I might end up putting a 27" above the 34" as a secondary at some point, but I don't think I could go to a smaller primary monitor in the future. Maybe upgrade to a 42" LG C# years down the road, but the 3440x1440 is so incredibly usable.
r/pcmasterrace • Gaming in 16:9 or 21:9, what’s your thoughts ? ->Which one? I wish there was an updated version of the Dell 34" IPS. But it's just OLED now.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Is 34" ultrawide.. dying? ->I just received a dell 34” today. imo Side by side screens are still just as sufficient as 2 24” monitors. I also went to a micro center where they had a 40 inch on display, and it just felt like too much monitor. It’s 21:9 too, and quite lovely if I’m being honest, but 34 really feels like that sweet spot. As for a rec I’ll just say I did a bunch of research, and felt the best monitor for my needs was the dell u3425we. I was able to get one off eBay for a few hundred less than msrp. I considered the dell p3424we because it is cheaper, and it had comparable specs as the u34, but the u gives more ports and 120 Hz compared to 60 (among other things I’m sure). If those things aren’t super important to you then I think you could save some money by opting for the p34. No matter what you choose I recommend exploring the ‘open-box’ market for a good deal. Good luck!
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Need help choosing my first Ultrawide monitor! ->I recently bought a used 34” Ultrawide Dell from Marketplace. I love the real estate I get. However, Mac Bar is so small and you cannot make it bigger… that’s my sole complaint since I use it for work purpose.
r/macmini • First Mac and need help with a monitor ->I use the Dell Ultrawide 34" and connect via Thunderbolt. Display quality and refresh rate is perfect, not a hint of blurriness.
r/macbook • An ultrawide curved monitor suitable for a Mac – does this exist at all? ->I went from a Dell 34" UW to a Dell 49" UW and honestly the 49" is too wide for productivity. Now admittedly the curve on the Dell is not as aggressive as some of the Samsungs, but the edges of the screen are out of my field of view and require too much rotation of my neck to be useful to me. When I bought the monitor, I thought I was going to make greater use of the picture-by-picture feature to run a customer laptop and my work laptop at the same time but turns out that was not a scenario I really needed (most of my customer's would rather give me a VDI than send me a laptop). I like it for gaming, but I am considering moving to a 38 or 40" 21:9 monitor after tax season.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best Ultrawide for Productivity?
->I don’t game. Do you think it’s an overkill just for software development? I currently have a Dell 34” ultra wide, it has a DPI of 109 which I absolutely hate.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • LG 45" 5K2K, ascension and impressions ->I do not game but I do have a dual monitor system a 34 widescreen and a 25 vertical one. If you check my timeline you will find the pic. the 34 is.a Dell 3440\*1440 max res and another one is just FHD.
r/MacOS • Advice for dual monitor (or ultrawide) setup with macOS with M4 ->yup, got a Kogan 34inch, I use it as my gaming monitor, has a better refresh rate and color for gaming, I also have a Dell 34inch that is my main movie monitor and a 27 inch Acer that is primarily used for photo editing as it is colour matched to my printer and when not in use for photos discord usually lives on it [https://imgur.com/a/CPdnkvr](https://imgur.com/a/CPdnkvr)
r/bapcsalesaustralia • Kogan 38” Ultrawide ->I do, I have a 34 inch, ultra wide monitor with max resolution of 3440x1440, just make sure the port you are going to use on the monitor's side supports the max refresh rate, for example my monitor only supports max refresh rate on its display port, so I bought a high speed usb C to display port cable and it worked flawlessly, just plug and play and my mac mini detected the desired resolution and max refresh rate out of the box, this is the cable I used in case you need one: https://www.amazon.com/-/es/gp/aw/d/B0C4DB8MLL?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title Edit: I just realized my monitor is a dell too haha so we may even be talking about the same monitor.
r/macmini • Anyone using ultra wide monitors? ->That's the post I needed, people from /r/oled_gaming are obnoxious to the point of being jerks to anyone who questions their OLED religion. I'm currently using an ultrawide curved Dell 34” and am looking towards an upgrade that I can use with Thunderbolt. This 40” Dell monitor seems great for this, and the KVM will allow me to ditch two devices from my desk, which sounds lovely. Thanks a lot for spending your time on writing this!
r/ultrawidemasterrace • The perfect ultrawide for productivity and gaming! ->I’ve used different models across Dell, LG, Samsung, Lenovo, and Cepter for 49” IPS. I don’t think 57” is realistically anymore viable than 49”. Might be better to just double up (or more) on 49” if you need the real estate. The Dell Ultrasharp was definitely my favorite, but I recently picked up the Lenovo ThinkVision P49, and so far it’s giving Dell a run for the money. Albeit it is more expensive.
