I got an OMEN 34C before the holiday for like $300. 1440p and 165hz. Love it for gaming but it's somehow weird for work. Maybe it's the viewing angle of the VA panel, or it's because I'm jumping from 1080p to 1440p. Just getting used to it. If you plan to work and game on a monitor, I would recommend you go in person to check it out.

Top of the line LED is good for online gamers but if you fiddle with the settings on a VA panel you will get great visuals in single player games. Demon souls is blowing my mind. My only experience is with a hp omen 34 c. Having to pay x4 more than the black friday price just doesn't seem worth it just for oled 4k uw etc.
