I got the Samsung 49” G9 G93SD for $999 and HP Omen 34” c2 G2 for $319. Replaced three 32” Samsung G5 monitors. Display port in on Samsung and HP from PC with Nvidia 4070 Super video. HDMI on both from MAC Mini M4 and second HDMI on Omen from my Dish satellite Joey 4K wireless. Played Call of Duty MW3 Zombies at 5120x1440 @240 Hz last night. Wow! 0.03 ms response time. I also do programming and gives me plenty of real estate for any combo of programs open.
