Definitely rarer - I had this struggle when I was shopping for a new one. HP X34 - not curved but fits your other options. BenQ ex3415R - fits your needs exactly but pricier In the end I settled with a VA, it’s not like it’s a bad experience especially on a higher priced one. The few IPS ultrawides I found were hitting OLED pricing - Phillips have an OLED ultrawide for £400 a few days ago which I’ve just picked up, almost cheaper than some of these options

HP X34 user, I'm overall happy with my display, but it's been 3 years, and the time has come to upgrade to something better. Can I ask all of you for some recommendations for a 34" 1440p monitor? I'm undecided between OLED and Mini LED IPS. I game a lot, but I also do graphic design and photo editing, and I read extensively on my monitor. Thanks in advance!

The only 5K2K DELL I found is the 40" U4025QW, and the users complain about its long response time. I play a lot of fast-paced games, so I need to be careful with that. 40" is too big for me, as I have a tiny desk, ideal for 34". Also, its price is just crazy - I'm not paying £1500 for a display. I guess I will just wait until the next gen of OLEDs or Mini LED IPS price drop. My HP is not bad at all, but I just wanted to finally experience HDR properly. The one built in mine is atrocious.

For me it’s not about how high of FPS I can get, it’s how smooth those lower frames are. I currently have an HP x34 and it’s smooth as butter, from low to high fps, on a 6800xt. Get what you want.

HP x34, I love it. Unfortunately, you can only get it renewed/refurbished, but I have had mine for two years after buying it renewed on Amazon.

I started with the HP X34. It's a 34" 1440 IPS. Mostly gaming. Loved it. So much that I purchased an LG 34" 1080 IPS for work. Recently sold that, moving the HP to work, and purchased the Alienware AW3423DWF OLED. Loving it. Though I am baby-ing it as it's my first OLED.

Mam HP X34. Polecam.

I’ve used both a 34” ultrawide and a 32”, granted both were IPS monitors. In fact the my 34” HP monitor is still in use at my 2nd PC in my loft. I definitely prefer the 16:9 aspect ratio though. I’ve been tempted to try the LG 39” OLED since that has about the same height as a 32” monitor. I’m actually in the same boat you are. Current screen is a 42” LG C3 but it’s just too big for me when I’m sitting at my desk. Debated for weeks on what to get. My 32” monitor is getting delivered today and I’m moving the 42” over to be purely for console gaming and media consumption. Went with the AOC AG326UD, I liked the reviews I could find on it and it was on sale for $700.
