for a non-4k monitor, I would say the iiyama ProLite XUB3493WQSU-B6, and connect it using a DisplayPort cable and HDMI cable, and enable the PbP functionality, and configure windows to output 1720x1440, which gives you essentially 2 screens of 1720x1440 on a single display. This allows you to run 2 programs full screen next to eachother on a single display.
r/Monitors • Recommendations on a monitor for Work for under £400 ->I bought this as stated before. Very good screen. Took this instead of [https://www.reddit.com/r/ultrawidemasterrace/comments/1gtr7kn/is\_philips\_evnia\_34m2c3500l00\_a\_good\_monitor/](https://www.reddit.com/r/ultrawidemasterrace/comments/1gtr7kn/is_philips_evnia_34m2c3500l00_a_good_monitor/) which I was comparing this one to. In short: iiyama has better overall image quality and coherency. It has it's drawbacks for sure, like the OSD is annoying and the system how you set things up is far inferior to Philips's system. Also iiyama's decision to have input default to MANUAL-HDMI is annoying, it should either be AUTO or mention this somewhere... It's hard to get the image on the screen first time if you plug in the DP cable. You have to be pretty quick to hit INPUT-button before the screen goes to sleep.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Looking for iiyama ProLite XUB3493WQSU-B6 Monitor reviews! ->Hi! Hopefully i'm not too late. Bought the monitor. Sadly the first one had a defect on it and EU Iiyama support took 2-3 weeks to replace it. Bought it from allegro because it was on sale. So far i really like the monitor. Sharp, picture quality is good too. Bought it for simracing and only used it for a few hours but im very satisfied with the product. I can recommend it so far...
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Looking for iiyama ProLite XUB3493WQSU-B6 Monitor reviews! ->Yes. One update, finally after 3-4 weeks finally allegro sent me a new one out of pity because the eu iiyama support was so terrible. The monitor itself is really great, im only using it for simracing but the picture quality is really good, 120hz. I have a really nice FOV as well, yea you cant see the right mirror but still a huge upgrade to me. If you can get it on a discount then go for it but be prepared if you get a faulty one. I've been using this for a few weeks now and im totally satisfied with it and im glad i didnt go with curve and VA panel. Sadly theres not a lot of option if you want 34" UW flat screen...
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Looking for iiyama ProLite XUB3493WQSU-B6 Monitor reviews! ->They were responsible here too (Hungary), they took it away free via UPS but it was still frustrating that i had to call them multiple times and had to write multiple emails about my replacement unit which took them almost a month to get here. But hopefully i wont have any issue with the monitor so i dont need to deal with them. The product is still great and i dont regret buying it.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Looking for iiyama ProLite XUB3493WQSU-B6 Monitor reviews! ->Thanks for the update! I'm using DP cable too and i have no problem, when i plugged in it was automatically went to that without any issue. OSD is not the best that is for sure. Hope you will like it in the long-term as well.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Looking for iiyama ProLite XUB3493WQSU-B6 Monitor reviews! ->IIyama 34" 2k Ultrawide CPU i-11600 32Gb RAM 3060Ti 8Gb Quality mid-low except distance on-foot, otherwise some exobio is not rendered. Framerate locked at 60fps. Looks really, really good after 24" FullHD. On-foot activity sometime freezes. Due to this, and due to the NMS is too heavy for 2k and my VC, and crashes when hitting Alt-Tab "Not enough video memory", upgrade is imminent,
r/EliteDangerous • CMDRs running Ultrawide monitors, what Monitor and Graphics cards do you use? ->I have an IIYAMA 1440p 34' ultrawide. It is VA, but it's great for me and I only dislike when I am scrolling quick on a dark background with light text. It will have some ghosting then, but in games I don't notice it at all.
