Using an LG ultrawide, prolly the 34" 1080p 75hz version. It costed me around 13k 3 years ago when I bought it and I would say it's much better than those Xinese monitors that will breakdown after a year or later. I would rather not buy to those "specs" for cheap if it will be scrapped earlier.

I started with the HP X34. It's a 34" 1440 IPS. Mostly gaming. Loved it. So much that I purchased an LG 34" 1080 IPS for work. Recently sold that, moving the HP to work, and purchased the Alienware AW3423DWF OLED. Loving it. Though I am baby-ing it as it's my first OLED.

You guys are on 5k now?! That is crazy. I am still on a 2560 x 1080p ultrawide 34' LG monitor.

Here with a 21:9 IPS LG, 2560x1080. 34 inch is perfect for that resolution. Great for gaming, but some games are locked at 16:9 For work and Adobe, superb

If I recall correctly, the original 49" Neo G9 has full array local dimming, and is VA w/ 1ms response times. Movie watching is still more enjoyable on a 21:9, in my opinion/ experience, as it will soak up all the screen real estate. If you were willing to compromise for OLED, the upcoming 21:9 LG 45" 5k2k display sounds amazing if movies are a big second factor after productivity. For context, I have owned an IPS LG 34" UW, and currently use an OG G9. I'm sure others with more experience will chime in, thought I'd share my 2¢ anyways :3

I have had all three of these monitors in the past month. The G9 was OLED but kept getting black screens. The 34 LG is super nice but the 32 with the 4k picture can’t be matched. Of the three, I kept the 32 4k. I also think the LG 32 has a bit better color than the 34 and seemed to be a bit brighter to me. It also has more settings options than the 34 which may be important to you.

Same exact scenario, used a 34” LG for 10 years, bought the 5K2K the second it went live. Absolutely love it, so immersive at my sitting distance, id never go smaller at this point.

I have a 34inch ultra wide from LG. I don't do this but I did test it out. From my one 14inch MacBook pro I connected to my monitor using their thunderbolt type c connection, giving power to the laptop and display to the monitor. I then connected the HDMI from monitor to laptop. My monitor has the ability to display both inputs at once in a split mode and the MacBook thinks of it as two displays. Pretty neat

34". All the way. We have had AOC x 2 with zero issues, great monitor. My lad is currently on an LG 34" which seems to be fine, little bit of bleed. My daughter is also on a 34" Viewsonic, i'm on a 49" uw. My two main gaming buds are also 34". Both with 3060s. For gaming, gotta be 34" curved, it's a beautiful thing. Imo, i would stay away from nzxt myself.

LG 34 inch ultra wide. Dell 4k 27 inch portrait positioning. PowerToys is your friend! Easiest multi monitor management system I've ever used.

I have an LG 34 inch Ultrawide. I am a programmer and it works for me. I wanted KVM, atleast 65w PD (it has 90) and be able to have 2 screens side by side. The resolution could be much better as I am used to my MBPs 4k screen but it doesn't come in the way of writing code.

I use Better Display ([link](https://github.com/waydabber/BetterDisplay)) on a 34" LG Ultrawide and unlocks a bunch of HiDPI scaled resolutions. Quality is excellent. What I'm not sure about is what spec you need to check for compatibility. For example, when I connect via HDMI I have a way smaller list of available resolutions than when I connect with USB-C.
