Based on 1 year's data from Feb 15, 2026 How it works
I purchased a MSI MAG345CQR a few months ago. I owned the same model years ago this was a slight refresh. It's a really great monitor for price, its about $280 right now I got it on sale for $250. I came from a Lg ultrafine 5k so I think my opinion stands when I say this MSI monitor has great colors.
Yeah I own it for a week now, it's so peak, as long as you fix the black smearing tho, don't mind it myself tho;) worth it
alright, tbh, despite it being va it was definitely worth it. so peak

Dont get it. Its garbage. Ive been trying to fix ghosting and shadow smearing for the last 6 months ingames. Only to find out it is the damn screen. This was the worst purchase I have ever made. I really regret it as i do not have money to buy another one.
For remote working, I got a MSI 34" MAG 345CQR. It's supposed to be a "gaming", but it was one of the cheapest with a good curve (1000R) and matte finish. It obviously doesn't make me as happy as my LG 34GS95QE (which I got for gaming), but that one was much more expensive and is OLED so I can't use it for work (hence buying the MSI). Still quite happy with it, it's perfect for work. Didn't try gaming on it.
i've had it for over 2 months, its really not that bad monitor as people say it is cause of VA, it works as it should!
I just got the 345 version I like the curve but it feels off not sure how i tried cyberpunk and it looked like a mess not sure if its because I am use to a flat screen I had a 32 inch lg 144 hz flat ips
I got the MSI MAG34(something something) in around 2020 as a good budget option and it's still going strong, not had any issues at all.
You can get a certified refurb on ebay for around 500$ I bought a 34in MAG with tax was 492$ Ended up returning because waiting for new gen displays but the MSI MAG was amazing for the 3 weeks I used it.
In short. For me in my case no. I have both. An older MSI 34 VA 3440x1440 curved which I used to game on and bought a LG C2 42 Oled 2 years ago. Never would go back to the MSI for gaming. I just use it to work from home and slip it on the side whenever I want to start a Game. I know the MSI is not on oled but I love the size and the screen so much more on the LG. Plus the LG can do Ultrawide also which I use here and there for demanding titles and just because of better frames. If you can go 4K and have the hardware to do so then I would go 16:9. I don't miss the ultrawide and the 21:9 ratio at all.
I've already ordered the MSI MAG 34-inch monitor. Which one did you get β the MSI MAG or the LG?
