34” MSI MPG 341CQPX QD-OLED (240 Hz), running on a 7900 XT. In fairness I don't really race on it since I use VR, but I'll chime in anyway since I like it as a general gaming monitor. Granted, you can save some money if you don't care for the OLED blacks
r/simracing • what ultrawide monitor do you use? ->I recently purchased that exact MSI model, with requirements similar to yours—looking for a good balance between productivity, media consumption, and gaming—and I wouldn’t go back for anything in the world. At work, I use a 4K monitor, and when I return home to my MSI, I notice a slight difference in text clarity during the first five minutes. However, this is a minor issue compared to the many advantages this monitor—or OLED technology in general—has to offer. Even something as simple as scrolling through web pages feels incredibly smooth. As for gaming and watching movies, I won’t even start—they’re an absolute delight. The blacks are absolutely spectacular—pure and absolute. The colors practically leap off the screen, almost as if they’re slapping you in the face. HDR content looks stunning, and the overall fluidity of usage is hard to put into words unless you’ve experienced it yourself. I would only recommend against it if your use case were *strictly* for productivity. Regarding burn-in, I can’t give you long-term feedback yet, as I’ve only had it for a short time. However, I can tell you that there are numerous features designed to minimize this risk. It’s true that the panel protection feature can be a bit annoying, as it prompts you to run it every 4 hours of usage (or every 16 hours if adjusted in the monitor settings). But it’s something you get used to if you want to enjoy the incredible quality of this display. I admit that, having recently switched to OLED technology, I’m currently being extremely cautious about avoiding static elements staying on the screen for too long. Maybe it’s just the anxiety of something new, and it will fade with time, but for now, it’s an extra consideration to keep in mind. Perhaps it’s unjustified, but psychologically, it’s definitely there. That said, this monitor does require slightly more care compared to other technologies. Even cleaning the panel demands a bit of extra attention. So, if you’re someone who doesn’t like “wasting time” on maintenance, this might be something to consider. Otherwise, it’s an unparalleled joy to use. The biggest downside of this monitor is that, from now on, every other non-OLED monitor will feel like pure garbage by comparison—especially in dark scenes, where blacks will no longer appear black but just gray.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • The Best 21:9 Ultrawide Monitor for Productivity, Media & Gaming? (Thunderbolt or USB-C w/ 90W+ PD) ->MSI MPG 341CQPX It's 1800R. 240Hz qd-oled HDR I have the same setup (w 9800x3D) and I can only recommend it to you, the image quality and the fluidity with the 5080 is pure orgasm for the eyes.
r/simracing • 1440p OLED ultrawide recommendations? ->I had that MSI monitor and when I enabled G-Sync, I had black screen flickers (not OLED flicker), it looked like losing a signal or something. I had to return it. I can send you a video I have recorded if you are interested.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best 34'' 240 Hz OLED ultrawide to date? ->I have tried 3 DP cables and two HDMI. Result was the same. It had black screen flickers several times per 10 seconds. So it wasnt usable for me while paying so much money for it. When I arrive home, I edit this post and add the video. EDIT: I apologise after such a time, I have completely forgot *facepalm*. Here is that video, play it in 0,5-0,75x and you will see those "flickers". https://youtu.be/JrB4Re83yO8?si=4dbeQjR6OaJCwuIW
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best 34'' 240 Hz OLED ultrawide to date? ->It didnt look like in your video. There were completely black blank screens several times per a few seconds. Unfortunately they were faster than my phone camera to see them properly on my video, but when you slow it down, you will see them. I have tried 3 DP and 2 HDMI cables and everytime chose 144Hz. I didnt even try to set the 160Hz cause I wanted RBG@10Bit. Anyway, this still should not have been a problem, because this monitor supports DSC and my GPU too (RTX 4070Ti).
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best 34'' 240 Hz OLED ultrawide to date? ->From what I've seen here's what I'd say: the msi is the better monitor for the most part. Better specs, newer panel and has better burn in reduction features. The alienware build quality is probably abit nicer and the you can get a next day replacement for burn in apparent, msi still has 3 year burn in warranty. Personally I'd go for msi
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Choosing between MSI 341CQPX and Alienware AW3423DWF ->There honestly very similar but if they were the same price I'd go for the msi for all.the additional features
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Choosing between MSI 341CQPX and Alienware AW3423DWF ->Using a MSI MPG 341CQPX currently and the sweet spot for ultrawide is forever IMMERSION. GX9 is the immersion king right now so I want it…
r/ultrawidemasterrace • [Real-User Invite] LG UltraGear 5K2K GX9: The Ultimate Sweet Spot of UltraWide OLED Gaming Monitor ->Can’t speak to the LG, but I’ve had the MSI MPG341 for about a week now and it’s been great. Coming from a 165hz Acer Predator IPS, it definitely feels smoother and the colors are crazy. The 1800R curve feels just right, while the 800R curve was too much when I looked at one at Best Buy. I’d say get whichever one you can find cheaper.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best 34'' 240 Hz OLED ultrawide to date? ->Had this for a couple months now. Absolutely love it. Worth every penny.
r/OLED_Gaming • Best 21:9 OLED Monitor? ->I ended up going with the MSI 341cqpx! I love it so much! I was upgrading from a 60hz 32" Samsung monitor that was partially broken, so I think my jump was huge compared to what you'd be upgrading from. It all basically came down to the fact that the dwf and msi were similar enough, but the msi was much newer in terms of release date, and I wasn't in a rush and had been saving for about 4 months, so the price difference wasn't going to be an issue for me. it was also the fact that I own a ps5 and it has hdmi 2.1 ports, as well as a laptop to utilize the fancy usb-c port on the monitor. I think the upgrade for me was a lot easier decision to make since I basically didn't really have a monitor lol. if I already had a high fps monitor or a monitor with less technical issues it mightve been more difficult. TLDR: I got the MSI, I like it, i chose it bc it's newer, has hdmi 2.1 ports, and a slightly higher refresh rate than the alienware (240>175)

r/OLED_Gaming • Looking for 1440p Ultrawide OLED in the $600-1000 range recommendations ->This post helped me pull the trigger on the MSI 341CQPX, was hoping for one of the new LG 5k2ks 34 or 39in coming q4, but tariffs got me shook and dont want to spend that kinda money later after 50% or more price increase so Im settling for a somewhat more lateral move from the same resolution but VA monitor with some not great black smearing I couldnt deal with any longer. At least its come down in price compared to the $1300 the alienware launched at, $750 is a lot easier to say yes to LOL. Was surprised to see zero mention of this MSI monitor on the monitor unboxed youtube channel and were still recommending the alienware for their best of last November but the RTINGS ultrawide article had it as best. Was tempted by the 45" 5k2k for a bit, also way to big for my desk and dont think I'll like that 800R curve, dont want to settle when spending that much so I'll just get an OLED upgrade for much cheaper and wait and see how tariffs fallout by xmas.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Choosing between MSI 341CQPX and Alienware AW3423DWF ->I’m getting the 175Hz version of the MSI and LG 34GS95QE(240Hz) for almost the same price. Unable to get the 240Hz version as of now for MSI. Would you still recommend the MSI?
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best 34'' 240 Hz OLED ultrawide to date? ->I'm looking through this right now - I think for gaming and laptop use, the MSI MPG 341CQPX seems to be the only monitor out that does what it does (240Hz, QD-OLED, 90W USB-C DP)
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Monitor Ultrawide: Your suggestion? ->MSI 34CQPX. 1800R curve, 240Hz, great resolution and firmware updates, good OLED care. Easily obtainable for 750$ US
r/OLED_Gaming • Best 21:9 OLED Monitor? ->MSI MPG 341CQPX is the new best 34 inch qd-oled ultrawide.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best 34inch Monitor Gaming ->I'd probably still suggest the MSI MPG 341CQP
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best 34inch Monitor Gaming ->Burn-in would definitely be an issue but most manufacturers do offer a pretty hefty warranty, I know Alienware is like 3 years unless you disable their OLED care features. Edit: I just remembered that Monitor's Unboxed have a mini-series where they test OLED burn-in on their productivity monitor over the period of a few months, they have few episodes but here's the latest update at 1 year: https://youtu.be/k-NOoMklpPM?si=IwopHmWII8CVB6Bz I have no clue about Thunderbolt support though, you'll generally only find that on professional grade monitors and really high-end gaming monitors. Lots of good OLED options to choose from and Alienware in particular has been fantastic with the pricing on their models in general. Currently I've been drooling over their new AW3425DW but even the older AW3423DWF (and DW) is still fantastic. Other good options are the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDM, LG 34GS95QE-B, MSI MPG 341CQPX QD-OLED, Acer Predator X34 X and Samsung Odyssey OLED G85SB S34BG85. The Asus in particular has a few extra features like a USB Hub and KVM Switch but unfortunately not Thunderbolt support. It's kinda hard to go wrong with a new OLED choice tbh, they're all very similar in terms of specs and generally just differ in build quality and tuning. If you don't want to risk burn-in or deal with having to RMA and wait for a return then I'd look into a middle/higher-end VA panel for what you want. They're perfectly suitable for most games (especially single-player gaming) with minimal smearing compared to the cheaper VAs but still have fantastic colours and no risk of burn-in. These are the VAs I'd aim for (in this order): * Alienware AW3425DWM * AOC CU34G2XP/BK * Asus TUF Gaming VG34VQL3A * Asus ROG SWIFT PG35VQ (old and may be hard to find) * ASRock Phantom Gaming PG34QRT3A * ASRock Phantom Gaming PG34QRT2B There are a few others in the mid-range but I'm unsure of their quality. For competitive multiplayer like CS, Apex, Valorant etc though you'll still want an OLED for the motion clarity and responsiveness.
r/Monitors • Best 3440 x 1440 ultrawide for work (Windows), personal multitasking (Mac) and PC gaming? Good colours, good HDR, OLED would be good (?) ->You're welcome :) Unfortunately I'm not sure if any of these monitors have any weird quirks with Mac devices to be aware of outside of their PPI but they all support firmware updates over USB so if there are any issues then they can fixed with an update so it should just be temporary. If the budget allows though then the 2 main choices I'd have would be between the Alienware AW3425DW or the MSI MPG 341CQPX, the MSI has a KVM switch but is $150 more expensive so it's up to you if you want to spend the extra for that (neither has Thunderbolt support though unfortunately). There's also the Gigabyte MO34WQC2 but I haven't seen any reviews of this one so I have no clue. Some of their 1440p monitors are good value though and it's slightly cheaper than the Alienware with similar specs but also has a KVM Switch like the MSI so might be worth a look if you want that but don't want to spend $900 for it. If those are too expensive though then most of the older models of the above are still worth it, the first Gen OLEDs and QD-OLEDs around 165hz-175hz are still fantastic monitors.
r/Monitors • Best 3440 x 1440 ultrawide for work (Windows), personal multitasking (Mac) and PC gaming? Good colours, good HDR, OLED would be good (?) ->MSI MPG 341CQPX the best 34" hands down
r/ultrawidemasterrace • 34’ ultrawide recommendations ->3 year warranty mate, no need to worry
r/ultrawidemasterrace • 34’ ultrawide recommendations ->Also just got this panel this week. Loving it so far. I had to get a monitor arm though because the feet are ridiculously long. Other than that, it's been perfect.
r/OLED_Gaming • Looking for 1440p Ultrawide OLED in the $600-1000 range recommendations ->I got this one being delivered today. Jumping from a 120hz 3ms response time IPS. So hyped
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best 34'' 240 Hz OLED ultrawide to date? ->That I’m not sure. I’m not knowledge on the technical details. I just plug it in and pump all settings to ultra. I’ve been using it about 8 hours and all I can say is wow. This monitor is absolutely insane. I wish I had bought it sooner
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best 34'' 240 Hz OLED ultrawide to date? ->Running the AW3423DW since launch which despite annoying fans has no coil whine but I know what you mean - when I tried upgrading to the MSI 341CQPX, when the monitor was on, all was good but in standby, horrible coil whine from its power unit was audible. My pc is in my bedroom so had to send it back. Holding out for newer gen QD-OLED UWs.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Dell Alienware AW3425DW - Unboxing / Mini Review / Ascension ->I wouldn't say it's pointless, you could get a working model, but it's a more widespread issue than I thought and something I will always check for from now on - I mean, I used the MSI for several hours and tested it quite a bit, was happy with it and what a disappointment it was to realise it's when it's turned off that its problematic, wouldn't have crossed my mind. So overall I'd try to upgrade but definitely buy somewhere with an easy return policy.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Dell Alienware AW3425DW - Unboxing / Mini Review / Ascension ->I choose the mgp, it’s awesome.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best 34inch Monitor Gaming ->Mmmh no, i didn’t hear any fan noise. Thanks !!
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best 34inch Monitor Gaming ->I would, i own one, my brother and a friend does, they all love it. I sold my G8 for it, no regrets. Hate the Samsung tizen os shite
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Recommendations for 3440x1440 at the moment? ->I own an AW3423DW and I would replace it with the Msi 341cqpx if I could. The kvm, faster refresh rate, better ports, it’s a no brainer. The AW3423 is old hat, I’ve had mine for almost 3 years. Best monitor I’ve ever had but I’d still take the msi.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Choosing between MSI 341CQPX and Alienware AW3423DWF ->The alienware aw3425dw was released last month. It has an 240 hz refresh rate instead of 175 and goes for 799 dollar The Gigabyte MO34WOCQ2 and the MSI 341CQPX have the same panel as the alienware i mentioned. If i were you i would get the cheapest one of those three. And if you want 49 inches then the samsung g93sc(glossy) or the philips 49M2C8900(semi-gloss). These two also have the same panel and are both 1440p,240hz. Samsung also has a smart version (95 instead of 93) or oled (sd) instead of sc, but i would get non smart, qd oled.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best ultrawide? ->Not sure about this one in particular but I have the MPG341CQPXQDOLED and it’s been nothing but amazing so far. It’s a tad different in specs as it has 240hz and only 34” but aside from that I’m sure it’s equally as great
r/ultrawidemasterrace • This is the cheapest 49'' OLED monitor ever. Any downsides or caveats? ->Honestly it’s amazing. No issues at all. The only “complaint” I have is about the stand it has. I simply do not like how it looks at all. Also couple tips in case you don’t know; keep all of the cords it comes with, that usb-b is needed for full 240hz. You have to use the msi control center for the monitor and change it but once you change it once you should be fine. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do :) *edit* forgot to mention one thing that actual does bother me; sometimes/most of the time the monitor does not turn on when I power on my pc/ps5. Not sure if it’s something on my part and I haven’t had it long enough to see if there’s any common denominators but there’s that lol
r/ultrawidemasterrace • This is the cheapest 49'' OLED monitor ever. Any downsides or caveats? ->Any of those 3 will have a nice PPI upgrade for you. I recently bought the MPG 341CQPX and have been happy with it. I'm coming from a 24inch 1440P TN panel. The fringing people mention hasn't bothered me as I mostly use it for gaming and minimal text focused reading. I opted for the 240hz version because I play CS2, if I didn't I'd likely go with the MAG341 version or the AW - whichever is cheaper.
r/OLED_Gaming • What's currently the best ultrawide oled monitor? ->Awesome! I appreciate the update! I also am not too concerned with the cost difference. This TN panel has served me well for 8 years but it is showing signs of aging. I've decided to go the MSI route as well - the 240hz is really appealing, especially if I can upgrade my GPU next year to a 50 series card. I also have a PS5 but would be worried about uneven aging of the OLED due to PS5 not supporting ultrawide screen but I don't use the PS5 much anyway so it isn't a deal breaker. I'll likely use my work laptop on it too using the USB C connection but that also won't be frequently.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Choosing between MSI 341CQPX and Alienware AW3423DWF ->Get an oled 240hz ultrawide for gaming and keep the current monitor for work. Set it as a dual monitor setup. MSi 341cqpx, Dell aw3425dw, gigabyte mo34wqc2 …. All use the same panel so whatever is cheapest. If you need to use a laptop, go for the MSi since it has usb c dp alt mode and power delivery.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • 4090 best monitor? ->Aw3423dwf is a fine option but there are some better options. -dwf has hdmi 2.0 and dp 1.4. 341cqp - same panel as dwf but it has hdmi 2.1 and dp 1.4a and usb c dp alt support. 341cqpx - updated version so 240hz and usb c has enough power to charge a laptop and connect to monitor -one cable for both charging and connecting.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • What is the best curved ultrawide for gaming? ->.. depends on what it’s for and what size you want. Work - ips would be the better option but these are limited since they all are in love with oled. Play - oled, you got many options. 34” - this is the standard ultrawide at 3440x1440. 49” - this is the upper size for those who want super ultrawide at 5120x1440. New monitors from 45” and up at 5k2k are coming out … these are mainly for play and there are some ips ones available but these are expensive.. over your budget. Qd-oled are currently the main fair for oled. 34” qd-oled are around 700. Options: aw3423dwf, 341cwp/341cqpx, many others. Qd-oled for 49” are below 1k, 491cqp/491cqpx and others. IPs - expensive …Dell, asus, lg has some but prices range from 700 and up high.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Buying an ultra wide monitor with a $1000 budget. What would you buy? ->Good system and you just want to play well - 341cqpx, this is a solid 240hz 3440x1440 qd-oled, hdmi 2.1/dp 1.4a/usb c You just want the extra width and you have the system to handle it.. - 491cqpx, 49” 5120x1440 ad-oled, HDMI 2.1/dp 1.4a/usb c. There are others…Phillips, asus, dell, gigabyte, lg is a bit different… they use their own oled tech and not qd-oled. You notice, I didn’t mention Samsung.. I’m not partial to them due to ..qc issues I see here. From what I’ve seen, the current solid option is MSi…it fits the price, performance, and the connectivity. On dp 2.1… you have to wait for the next gen monitors to come out.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Buying an ultra wide monitor with a $1000 budget. What would you buy? ->MSi 341cqpx or 491cqpx, 240hz version. Take out the x and 175hz/144hz version but cheaper. Dell aw3425dw, 240hz version. With the way prices are, I can’t recommend aw3423dwf… price is a bit high for what you get. I’m not a fan of Samsung monitors. Asus, Philips… has them as well. I would go for the best price since they are basically the same.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best ultrawide? ->… it’s not the best ultrawide, it’s the best ultrawide for your use case. Dell 40” 5k2k ips - best work ultrawide. You really can’t get better at this time. 34” oled - 165/175hz to 240hz, many solid options here from lg, Samsung, MSi, Dell, asus….currently, I think the 341cqp and 341cqpx are the best of this category. 49” oled - 144hz to 240hz, same as the above. MSi has the 491cqp and 491cqpx which I am interested in. The new lg 45” 5k2k oled … it’s nice but I’m really waiting for a 40” 5k2k oled. I think that size to resolution would be amazing.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Monitor Ultrawide: Your suggestion? ->No… just no. 1k for a 3440x1440 is not worth the it. Go for a cheaper 34” such as 341cqpx or go for a 491cqpx which is better and similar price.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • ASUS PG39WCDM or LG? ->No… just no. 1k for a 3440x1440 is not worth the it. Go for a cheaper 34” such as 341cqpx or go for a 491cqpx which is better and similar price.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • ASUS PG39WCDM or LG? ->Not the mpg 341cqpx... Its my firts ultrawide and going by rtings i'd say they didn't lie it is a beautiful monitor but it is not the second coming of christ they sold it to be. On the paper its an awesome monitor and perhaps im too harsh judging it because the over the top praise it gets but it has its short comings. Its hdr is hardly hdr. The vrr flicker is real, like real real, even if you manage to maintain stable frames sometimes the monitor says fuck it and flicks nonetheless. But it is very solid, its just that for an almost 1000 bucks monitor i expected it to be impecable from the moment i took it out of the box and it required a lot more work to tune than i expected.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • What is the best ultrawide in your opinion? ->Disappointingly the subpixel layout is the same as gen1, so none of the second generation improvements (namely to clarity of text) will be present with the CQPX. Just thought it worth mentioning to anyone interested as I was personally looking forward to this monitor until I found this out
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best 34" Ultrawide now ? ->The MSI 341CQPX is the first monitor with the “second” generation Samsung QD-OLED panel. I say “second” because it doesn’t actually include all the improvements from the second generation process used for their TV panels, but it does at least support a higher refresh rate of 240Hz.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best 34" Ultrawide now ? ->The MSI MPG series has a KVM with good charging speeds, and the MAG doesn't usually. Check if the one you're looking at has a KVM or not. Also idk how it converts, but the 34in MSI MPG OLED is about 700 USD, if it converts decent, or is a good deal I would 100% recommend it
r/ultrawidemasterrace • 34" Ultrawide for work & side gaming ->I am looknig forward to buy "MSI MPG 341CQPX" for good price. MSI looks like the best option in the market, for now.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best 34'' 240 Hz OLED ultrawide to date? ->I bought "MSI MPG 341CQPX", just got it yesterday. I'll use as refference the small-wide monitor i am using -> "MSI mag301rf" with is fantastic itself. Colors, pixel density, factory callibrations etc. is 9/10 With "MSI MPG 341CQPX"... The overall color, games, movies are looking good, but desktop experience... I was gonna "flip the table" while trying to callibrate it properly (did not do it still). The desktop icons are oversaturated - It feels like there is too much contrast. I also have a problem with objects that are black or transition from 'almost black' or 'transparent to black' appearing completely black, even when they should be otherwise visible. For refference my desktop background creation -> [https://imgur.com/a/TGSzDcC](https://imgur.com/a/TGSzDcC)
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best 34'' 240 Hz OLED ultrawide to date? ->Fixed my problem a litte (still need some improvements but it is bearable). My settings are \[Monitor itself\] (monitor menu, not msi program) Professional -> pro mode -> user Image \-> brightness 54 \-> contrast 70 \-> color temp -> custom -> all 100, red 97 \[nvidia settings\] - adjust desktop color settings \-> brightness 40% \-> contrast 20% \-> gamma 1.20 Edit: new settings
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best 34'' 240 Hz OLED ultrawide to date? ->Never used gsync/vsync/ freesync in my life. My words on this topic cannot be relied upon. I have newest firmware (0.23). Turned HDR Turned on adaptive-vsync in the monitor menu Used: [https://www.testufo.com/gsync](https://www.testufo.com/gsync) Looks like it is working, I guess? Edit: I played one game that jump from 240 to 100-70 fps constantly It is working
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best 34'' 240 Hz OLED ultrawide to date? ->This is the correct answer, don’t look at anything else OP
r/OLED_Gaming • Looking for 1440p Ultrawide OLED in the $600-1000 range recommendations ->I’d suggest MSI MPG 341CQPX QD-OLED 34 over Alienware for right now since Alienware still uses gen 1 panels. There upcoming 2025 model will have gen 2 tho
r/radeon • Monitor suggestions for 9070 XT/9800X3D build? ->Been down your road since I picked up a Taichi 9070xt. Wanted 4k decided on an ultra wide instead. It’s the middle ground for how demanding it is on graphics card being 1.5x 1440p gaming where 4k would be 2x demanding. And if you do go ultra wide MSI MPG 341CQPX QD-OLED 34 is best bang for your buck. Newest gen panels for ultra wide with out going in new 5k territory.
r/radeon • Monitor suggestions for 9070 XT/9800X3D build? ->While I agree with the comment about waiting until Jan, if you can't wait or just want to snag a good Black Friday deal, I recommend the LG 34GS95QE. Ive done quite a bit of research and between it and its MSI counterpart they are both pretty top end for what you pay (~$700-800). AW's offerings all use QD-OLED which while more colorful are less bright and blacks are a bit more purple. On top of that they are getting a bit long in the tooth for their current price points. If you care about KVM go MSI. If not go LG. Skip Asus unless you really care that the stand or back of monitor look gamery otherwise you're paying more for the same monitor.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • What the best monitor ultrawide right Now ? ->The new Gigabyte and MSI ones. Out very soon. Basically the same as the last gen but 240hz and cheaper. Wait a week or two for those. It's not a question.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best 34" Ultrawide now ? ->MSI MAG 341CQPX. The one I'm gonna buy. GIGABYTE - MO34WQC2
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best 34" Ultrawide now ? ->Probably the best buy would be the **Alienware AW3423DWF**, which uses a 1st-gen QD-OLED panel and runs at 165Hz. If you really want **240Hz**, you can go for the **MSI MPG 341CQPX** (just make sure to get the **240Hz version**, as there are multiple versions with minor differences and lower refresh rates). Alternatively, you could wait for the **AW3423DW/F refresh from Alienware**, which should be released at the end of April. It’s called the **AW3425DW**, and it’s expected to feature a **2nd-gen QD-OLED panel** with **240Hz**.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Best 34 inch oled monitor? ->I had the MSI 240Hz and sent it back. Instead I went for the Alienware 240Hz OLED. It’s cheaper and I didn’t need the KVM or 90w charging.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • Which is the best $700 QD-OLED 34" ultrawide monitor? ->I know, right? I hate when they start making Matt OLEDs for no reason. And I doubt the 34 going to be glassy. However, we will have to wait for other makers to surprise us, which is also doubt it too lol. I'm also the same as you. i have the MSI 34 OLED glassy, and it's amazing. But I can't find any better with more PPIs.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • LG 5k2k — day 1, not feeling it :/ ->I’m on a MSI 34C2 QD-OLED (1440p) and was flabbergasted when I switched from an Alienware IPS panel. It’s beautiful, especially with all these small light sources everywhere in the hangar and cockpits. I do recommend to go for a 4K version for even more awesomeness.
r/starcitizen • Ultrawide screen for SC, any recommendations? ->I had triples and went to a 49 and love it for many reasons. Less cables. Less pixels to render improve performance. Takes less space than triples. Easier to get in and out as well. Easy in-game setup. Only downside is losing the windscreen and side widows feel. Mine is the msi oled 1800r 1440 version. I think samsung has a 1000r which would give more of the side window feel. My system is a 7700x with a 6900xt.
r/simracing • Ultrawide vs Super ultrawide ->Same. It’s such an amazing monitor for the price. I returned a curved 4K gigabyte monitor for the 34” msi 1440p ultrawide and am so glad I did.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • This is the cheapest 49'' OLED monitor ever. Any downsides or caveats? ->I have 3 34” MSI ultrawide monitors. They have been absolutely fantastic. I use them some for gaming but mostly for work. My monitors have run solid for over 3 years now and still look great. MSI monitors are worth it imo.
