Based on 1 year's data from Feb 15, 2026 How it works
I used it for a couple of months, it's decent for it's price, but how VA handles blacks was very irritating for me, now using Phillips 34M2C8600 OLED and happy
if im not wrong they all have the same panel so you need to look at the features that distinguish them and the price. I didnt want to get an oled as Ill use it also for work but seeing that the philips 34M2C8600 is available for the same price as the ips i was going to get I think I'll take the philips. It's available for 500€ while all others are available for 700+.
So i have actually tried both a 27" ips was using an LG 27GP850-B which was pretty good but then swapped to a Philips Evnia 34M2C8600 34" qd-oled cause found one on an amazing sale. And while i love the ultrawide oled it does have some problems firstly not every game supports ultrawide and even the ones that do have poor implications some times secondly you need to use browser add-ons to get stuff like youtube/ Netflix to be ultrawide and its a bit hit or miss it also is harder to drive than a 1440p 16:9 monitor but it should be find with your 5070ti i have a 9070xt nad have little problems. But for all the little problems that it has it is lovely and when it works it is amazing so its a bit of extra work for some truly enjoyable experiences but you also can't go wrong with a just normal 1440p monitor or even getting a 27" 4k monitor like the msi MPG 274URDFW E16M or one of the 4k 27" oleds if you can afford it. I have found the 27" /34" uw swing to just be nice anything bigger is just a bit too big for most desks.
I can recommend the Phillips evnia 34" oled i got one on sale in aus for 450 aud and has been amazing full price prob not worth it but most monitors i don't think are worth it at full price.
It's basicly what you can get from a good brand on sale most of the OK ultrawides are like 500-600 and the curved ones i think are all either va or oled haven't really seen a curved ips in a while some times you get lucky tho got my self a 34 inch phillps oled for 450 for christmas
We have couple of hundred Philips curved 34 inch with USB-C and 65Watt PD. If you need more then 65 then look at something like the Samsung 34 inch viewfinity which has 90Watt. Make sure to get the builtin Webcam/Speakers, make Teams meetings a lot easier. One big screen saves the helpdesk a lot of hassle with arranging screens with dual monitor questions.
Look up the Philips evnia monitors, I have a 34inch one glossy and it's phenomenal for the price I paid (400$)
What do you think is a good price? Philips evnia has a 34” oled for 550. 34” oled 240 is around 800 and the 165/175 can be had for 600 to 700 depending on sales. I don’t think oled is going to go below that price anytime soon. On new… the 34” 240hz is a relatively recent release of last year so it’s been only a year since the release. We currently have the 45” oled 5k2k out now. On anything new.. the 40” 5k2k oled should be amazing but going to be expensive and not out yet. -39”/40” eehhh close enough. If you don’t want to wait and get the best price, check out the Philip evnia 34” oled for 550. The dwf is overpriced right now. https://pcpartpicker.com/products/monitor/#sort=price&r=344001440&P=7,9
I have Phillips Evnia, the 34" version and I bought it for productivity and gaming. Good OLED monitor, 3 year burn in warranty, the panels are great and the 49" version is 240Hz. I haven't seen any problems with the text and if you just put a screensaver you should be fine. Also the monitor itself has a pixel refresh every 16 hours. My dream monitor is LG 5k2k, but If I had to pick my next one it would definitely be Phillips Evnia 49".
Definitely rarer - I had this struggle when I was shopping for a new one. HP X34 - not curved but fits your other options. BenQ ex3415R - fits your needs exactly but pricier In the end I settled with a VA, it’s not like it’s a bad experience especially on a higher priced one. The few IPS ultrawides I found were hitting OLED pricing - Phillips have an OLED ultrawide for £400 a few days ago which I’ve just picked up, almost cheaper than some of these options
Agree, I'm using an Evnia QD-OLED and have no problems.
49´´is nice for working imo. You have basically two displays in one and can work really well on it. I love my Philips Evnia OLED, but many people don't like reading textes on OLEDs.
