I’m using a [Philips Evnia 34M2C8600](https://www.philips.co.uk/c-p/34M2C8600_00/evnia-curved-gaming-monitor-qd-oled-gaming-monitor) which I got for an absolute steal on Amazon and I couldn’t be happier with it. macOS looks and feels great on it. I’m a developer, so most of my time is in VSCode, Safari, Slack, and Ghostty.

if im not wrong they all have the same panel so you need to look at the features that distinguish them and the price. I didnt want to get an oled as Ill use it also for work but seeing that the philips 34M2C8600 is available for the same price as the ips i was going to get I think I'll take the philips. It's available for 500€ while all others are available for 700+.

I have the Philips Evnia 8000 34M2C8600 and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that monitor. Uses the same Samsung QD-OLED like all the other monitors in its class. What kind of negative points did you find in reviews?

Look up the Philips evnia monitors, I have a 34inch one glossy and it's phenomenal for the price I paid (400$)

What do you think is a good price? Philips evnia has a 34” oled for 550. 34” oled 240 is around 800 and the 165/175 can be had for 600 to 700 depending on sales. I don’t think oled is going to go below that price anytime soon. On new… the 34” 240hz is a relatively recent release of last year so it’s been only a year since the release. We currently have the 45” oled 5k2k out now. On anything new.. the 40” 5k2k oled should be amazing but going to be expensive and not out yet. -39”/40” eehhh close enough. If you don’t want to wait and get the best price, check out the Philip evnia 34” oled for 550. Why are you limited to IPS? I just bought a Philips Envia QD-OLED for $550 and it's stunning.

Awesome piece of kit. Only thing missing is hdmi 2.1 but I'm using it on a PC with DP anyway.

Holy shiz, here in the UK that model has just dropped from over £1k to £578.

The Evnia is nice if the back of it is hidden against a wall IMO, and you can use the ambilight set to normal (instead of gamer) for bias lighting to help with eye strain

AOC 34 180 RAPID VA is a good buy, so is the phillips evnia, just jmake sure if going VA get the 0.5ms response RAPID VA not old VA
