Do it! I have a new M4 mini and my work PC plugged into a Samsung C43J89X and I'm happily able to jump between the two (most of the time) without any issues. There is the occasional wake from sleep type issues that plague the Mac Mini, M-series or Intel based, just look it up. But overall I'm super happy to have a single LARGE display, no bezels. I even on occasion plug in my M2 MBA. Oh, and I should mention I use the Logitech MX series keyboard and mouse to switch bluetooth sources/connections between the different machines. Worth it.
