The Bissell BGU1451T is what I recommend most. You will need to occasionally change the belt every 6-9 months, but other than that it's fantastic. I've used mine commercially for the last year and before that on and off since I got it in 2018. Bags are ridiculously cheap ($20 for a freaking 20-pack of cloth hepa bags!) and parts are readily available. It cleans well, isn't too loud, has decent tools, and since it's at heart an old Bissell PowerForce but beefed up, you can have an employee run to Walmart go grab bags or belts in a pinch if you need to. It's a no brainer, I've recommend it for years.
r/VacuumCleaners • Commercial vacuum ->OP, I'll add to this. If you do go Sanitare or Bissell Commercial, don't get any direct air machine, get a bypass. The bypass ones are surprisingly durable and I've used the Bagged ones for as long as they've existed commercially (SL4110A & BGU1451T). The Direct air ones don't have tools, have poor Filtration, are more fragile, and require more maintenance, in addition to not being any cheaper despite no tools. Direct air is not for commercial use, especially in 2024.
r/VacuumCleaners • Commercial vacuum ->For home or mobile use? I have a bissell big green I use, works great for my home carpets and it has a very long hose with an upholstery head that works great for cars. I wouldn't want to lug it around to jobs though...
r/AutoDetailing • Best Wet/Dry Shop Vac for Interior? ->I have sanitaire"miteymite" and big green bissell. bagged, cheap, plenty adequate
r/VacuumCleaners • Affordable bagged corded vacuums that would be good for pets? ->I would argue certain Bissell and Hoover models are okay, the bagged ones of course because they're more simple. The Bissell Big Green Commercial and it's Sanitaire counterpart are good machines for their $100-$130 price point and parts are readily available. For someone on a very strict budget that has predominantly carpet they're not horrible options by any means. Same with the Bissell Zing for someone with hard floors.
r/VacuumCleaners • The reason brands like Sebo and Miele get recommended ->I had that carpet cleaner too. Broke after two uses, no suction. I replaced carpet in the living room and hallway with LVP. We had a Big Green years ago that worked well, but it was too heavy for me to manage as we had two flights of stairs.
r/carpetcleaningporn • Bissell Carpet Cleaning Recommendations! PLEASE‼️ ->I have a dyson stick that is many many years old. I love it and use it daily. However, it is not sufficient for carpet. It gets the little bits in between cleans, but if I do a dyson pass and follow up immediately with my cheapo bissel standup wall plug vacuum, that thing picks up sooooo much. Just an insight from someone that's not going to tell you theres only two vacuum options you should consider or else.
r/VacuumCleaners • Why are neither Dyson vacuums nor stick vacuums in the recommended vacuum cleaners list ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
