Bissell 2252 CleanView Swivel is what I use. There are several layers of filters and you don't need bags. I got it during a sale for a little less than $100usd and it's great. I have friends with allergies and this vacuum seems to pick up enough dander to allow them to come over for dinner and games without sneezing.
We have a bissell, it’s 4 years old, and still going strong. We started with 1 corgi mix, now have the mix, two corgis, a lab mix, and two cats and she’s still trucking. We do have to empty it every room, but that’s just bc we have so many animals lol, when we just had one it wasn’t as bad.

I just purchased the cleanview literally last week and so far so good. It’s getting up stuff that my Dyson stick did not. I can’t speak on the BU4050 and I did take a look at that one but pulled the trigger on the cleanview instead.
Buy Bissell Clearview Swivel Pet. I’ve had mine for years and it SUCKS (in a good way) when my parent’s old vacuum broke, they replaced it with this as well. Only ~$120 on amazon.
Once you put this vacuum on a carpet you’ve been cleaning with that little cordless, you’ll see how much dirt you’ve been missing.
I have used them all. Bissell is by far the best. I personally like the clear view swivel power vac. I just wish the hoses would last bur i haven't had any problems except belts but they go our in every vacumm. Its works so well with hair. I also use the crosswave vaumm mop. They way i dont sweep my hard floors and push small fur in the air. Check em out... wont be disappointed
