# Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Allergen Lift-Off with Powerful Suction, HEPA, Tangle-Free Brush Roll, 39883 off of amazon, i had a shark and my battery on it would die before i even got half way thru my floor. it was awful. This thing on the other hand is perfection.
Yep, I just invested in a Bissell pet hair eraser allergen liftoff, and it's amazing. The vacuum head is smaller than I'm used to coming from a more traditional vacuum, but it rotates very well, and the bright LEDS on the front proved to me that I wasn't seeing 80% of the Shep hair on the floor with my naked eyes. Easy clean up, you just rinse off some of the components and wipe down the rest, the rolling brush is easily removable if any long hair gets caught in it, and it's a quick button press to convert to the hose for crevices, or the liftoff to bring it into areas the full unit can't fit. I thought having to deal with a cord again was going to be a hassle, but it really isn't, and you truly need the power that 99% of stick vacuums can't compare to, and if they can, the battery won't last long enough for your entire home. Best 130 bucks I've spent in a while (open box on eBay!).
Tip when using Reddit: You don't have to do everything the mix of internet strangers, bots, and advertisers says. I don't have a recommendation for you, as the bagless at my house is a Bissel Cleanview Allergen Lift Off Pet. I'm favoring my bagged used Riccar Vibrance over it lately, the suction power is way better and it is a quieter machine. Heavier though. A used Riccar might be the best value in premium vacuums, next to Kirby (but you need to be a certain type of person to enjoy using a Kirby). Riccar can easily be found under $100 where you will not find a used Miele or Sebo in that price range.
I have 3 cats and have the Bissel “MultiClean Allergen Lift-Off Pet vacuum cleaner”. It sucks up a lot of cat hair and is still going strong after a few years. Cordless vacuums were never strong enough to pull the hair up off carpet and such. The bottom roller is super easy to access (just need to take off a few screws) to cut off any hair that gets trapped (my long human hair mainly). I do deep clean my vacuum every 2-3 weeks (completely empty and wash the canister, take out the roller and clean off all the hair) and I think that’s key to keeping the vacuum working well for a long time.
If you live in a city with an Ocean State Job Lot, cruise by one and see what they have in stock. Many are refurbished, but does that really matter? See what they have, take a moment to google all the reviews, and likely one will meet your needs. My own is a Bissell Lift Off Pet Hair Something Something i bought refurbished for <$100, in 2017 ish. I just ordered a new collection tank and brush for $60, but i figure ~$13/year for the first 8 years isn't a bad investment.
I bought the Bissell pet hair/allergy upright and it's been great and very easy to use.
We have one of these with 2 dogs. We’ve had it for 4 years and replaced the head unit 1 time bc of a broken belt. No other issue other than that
I have a plug in bissel pet hair eraser. It works great and hasn't clogged on me yet. I've had it over a year. I board dogs so it gets a lot of use
