It’s over budget but this thing sucks like nothing else. It’s such a good vaccum. https://www.harveynorman.co.nz/home-appliances/vacuums-and-floor-care/vacuum-cleaners/bissell-powerforce-helix-upright-vacuum.html The Warehouse also sells it but it’s slightly more expensive there.
It is unbelievable what it sucks up when you first get it. It is horrifying what is in your carpet. It is much better than any other vaccum I have ever used including much more expensive well known brands. I think we have had ours for 6 or 7 years. Still going strong and no lose of suction.
Ngl the best dog hair vacuum I’ve owned is a cheap a$ one from walmart. It never clogs and nothing has broken on it after a year of use. Previous ones I was breaking belts like crazy cause of my shepherd’s hair. It’s this one, $59. BISSELL PowerForce Helix, Bagless, Upright Vacuum, Pet Friendly, Scatter-Free Technology, Helix Dirt Separation System, Lightweight, 3313, Blue & Black
Second this! I've had ours for 5 years and it's still going great. The filter is easy to take apart and clean as well.
We really like our one of these. Bonus points that it's really easy to take apart and put back together.
I've got this one. It's a great workout.
I have the Bissell. Absolutely love it. I have 4 cats and 3 dogs and this vac takes easy care of the carpets and floors. The amount of dust it pulls up is insane! My only advice is keep the receipt! I brought one 5 years ago and have had a new one every year due to some kind of fault (various reasons) I keep getting a new one based on the rolling warranty. Still the best option. I also brought one for my other and my kids all got one when they moved into their own places.
Also have the bissell and it’s fantastic. Better than my more expensive older vac it replaced!
We buy Bissell PowerForce Helix for 70 to 90 bucks and treat them as disposable as an expense. We mostly do commercial work and usually get at least a year out of them before the beater brush wears out. Been doing this for 35 years, we used to buy expensive heavy duty commercial vacuums but maintaining those got to be an issue. We just came off a trade show vacuuming 12,000 square feet every day for a week, the Bissells were dependable and never failed. Just my opinion of course.
